Asking authentication window for annonymous users enable bi site when view dashboards or (deploy dashboards to view by anonymous users in sharepoint 2013 )

Hi
in sharepoint 2013 i created bi center site
1) and i followed best practices from Technet for how to create Secure store service,performance Point service applications
2) and added Unattended service account permissions in SSAS data sources,
3) given db_owner permissions for performance point service  application pool account in content database.
4) and my requirement is that deployed dashboards and pointers can be viewable by any users , who without login to
sharepoint web application,
so i enable anonymous access for whole web application and bi site.
but even when i open bi dashboards without login  by view permission user, it asking authentication window.
i open dashboard designer and deployed using spfarm user in sharepoint webfront end server.

PerformancePoint generally does not support Anonymous access, as is the case when using Excel Services data connections:

    Does the username and password you try to use have administrator privileges? You must input an admin username and password to install.

  • Enable report view for anonymous acess in sharepoint 2013

    Hi everyone, I hava a problem with rendered reports in .rdlx files from power gallery in sharepoint 2013. My site is enabled for anonymous access but when I try to see a report in anonymous mode ,I have to specify the credentials to see that report.
    I hope your help , best regards!

    Hi Regolie,
    PowerPivot for SharePoint 2013 and Reporting Services Power View do not support anonymous authentication. So, anonymous authentication must not be enabled for Web apps that host PowerPivot workbooks and Power View reports. This authentication method is disabled
    by default.
    I strongly recommend you take a look at the following document regarding Microsoft BI Authentication and Identity Delegation, please see:

  • Window for adjusting audio doesn't appear when toggled in imovie '08

    I'm trying to adjust audio for some video clips, but the usual window that pops up to allow me to do this is not coming up anymore.

    I have the same problem (the popup audio adjustment window never appears). It doesn't matter what project I work on, it never pops up, although the audio icon remains depressed like it is up somewhere.
    I unplugged the 2nd monitor and rebooted, but it didn't fix it for me.
    Likewise, I deleted the plist file, but I still can't get the panel to pop up. It works on the other Macs in the house, but not on my MacBook Pro 17.
    This is frustrating. I've been hours trying to solve this problem and I'm past a deadline, and I can't continue without this. Argh!

  • Continous Authentication Popup for PI server while testing ABAP webservice

    Hi All,
    While testing ABAP webservice,authentication window for PI server pops up continously.
    I have created web service from SE37 for Z function module which is remote enabled.
    I can see that service and endpoint is created automatically.
    I have also given PI server credentials in SOAMANAGER->Technical Configuration->System Global settings->Access Information J2EE server.
    Can somebody please help in testing the web service created from FM.
    I have already gone through a lot of links but still need your expertise on this.
    Thanks in advace,

    Hi
    Are you testing through WSNavigator. WSN  needs a java stack and  you have already set the corresponding setting.
    Please check if the User is locked.
    I think in gerenral PI credentials will be asked everytime you open WS navigator link.But once you provide the correct user it should not pop up again and u should be able to test.

  • Authentication Window

    Hi
    I have installed Snow Leopard 4 times now and each time i get too a point that I cannot see the authentication window. First thing first. When i installed it everything was ok, i installed some software and after some time when i wanted to install something using Installer but when i get to the last part where i click install it just blinks that it acknowledge the mouse click but nothing happend (there should be an authentication window for user password but it doesn't show). The same is with locks. There are some locks in different parts of System Preferences (like in accounts) and every time i click on one i get a message authenticating (and again the authentication window should show up) but after a second or two it returns to "Click the lock to make changes.". Anybody had similar problem? It only accrues in Snow Leopard. I have tried an upgrade on Leopard aswell as a Erase and Install no difference.

    Hi my good friends,
    Are there another possible causes or solutions to this problem? I have exactly the same problem but I think it is not the keyboard layout the cause at least in my case. Snow Leopard chooses the correct keyboard layout the standard *"ANSI 102 keys US and Others"* . Also I heard that a possible cause could be duplicate fonts. I opened Font Book and clicked *"Select Duplicate Fonts"* and found some duplicates (shows a yellow triangle next to them) and then clicked *"Resolve Duplicates"* Well, that didn't do the trick neither.
    Please let's keep the brain juices flowing to see if we can fix this problem for real. Thanks very much

  • "Property Mapping for Synchronization" User profile export to AD issue - Sharepoint 2013

    Trying to map user properties to AD Mapped Attributes.
    I map the property "SPS-JobTitle" to AD Attribute "title" with direction "export" click add and then ok to save and everything is fine, I then Map "WorkPhone" with Ad Property "telephoneNumber" with direction
    "Export" and click add then ok  and now property mapping on both "SPS-JobTitle" and "WorkPhone" show two mappings.
    If i go into the propertied it will show two mappings under "Property Mapping for Synchronization" both the title and work phone mappings.
    If i remove it from one it removes from both
    flavio

    It´s a bug in Sharpoint 2013, confirmed by MS.
    I reported it in January but its still not fixed :(
    The bug can be reproduced just as you mention by enabling export on several AD properties, the property will get duplicated on the previous propery you enabled export on.
    This makes it impossible to use the AD export functionality in Sharepoint 2013 until the bug is fixed.

    Problem: There is 1 website which I had downloaded a pdf from in the past, now this download window continues to popup every couple minutes with a window for me to download again. When this download windows opens I have to click "cancel" repeatedly to get it to close.
    I use to have this issue about a year ago, but I found the problem with a program and uninstalled it. But I am not finding anything like that this time.

    If this happens when you click the Home button then check if you haven't included an automatic download page as one of the home pages.<br />
    Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' symbols

    Try to delete the downloads.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

  • How to view a BI query with anonymous user in the portal

    <b>Hi Gurus,</b>
    Does anybody knows how to view a BI query in the portal with anonymous user?
    Cause when i try to view a query the portal always ask for authentification. And i don't want to sign with a user cause my portal is for everybody and if the user logged in it shows the roles that previously were assigned.
    I have the Netweaver 2004 with SP9
    <b>Thank you Very Much</b>

    do you have sso configured between portal and BW server, if yes the authentication pop up should not come.
    if you dont want to do sso between portal and bw server and still want to logon to BW query with anonymous user,
    in you bw server go to transaction sicf and navigate to DEFAULT_HOST->SAP->BW->BEX and double click on bex node in the resulting window, log on details section provide a default userid/password

  • OneDrive for business App- On premises installation (Sharepoint 2013)

    Hi,
    Just needed clarification regarding One Drive for Business application on iPhone/iPad.
    When I connect to internal corporate network, the application works fine. However when I go on external network, it gives an error that 'You are logged in but we can't access your settings'. Is there something I am missing? Same with One Drive for business
    application for laptop.
    It also works fine when I connect my iPhone/laptop on VPN.
    We are using SharePoint 2013 (on premises installation). Do I need to get some subscription for business in order to get the app working over the internet? I know we need Office365 or sharepoint online in order to get the app working but it works fine when
    I am connected to internal network or VPN.
    We do have a public IP and URL for One Drive which works fine on any browser from external internet. So the problem is only limited to the application on Apple and Laptop (windows). We are using TMG.
    Any info would be appreciated!
    Thanks

    Hi aso,
    You may want to check the authentication types for SharePoint on-premise site internal and internet access, some authentication types are not supported, you can check if it is the case.

  • SharePoint 2013 Workflow (SPD 2013) fails for Active Directory Group members

    Hi
    I have a SharePoint 2013 site called "Team Meetings". There are a number of lists and an InfoPath form library.
    The site's SharePoint Group "Team Meeting Members" has two Active Directory groups (All Club Managers and All Club Police) as members. Those two AD groups contain all the people that I want to have  access to the library and list, except for
    a few additional folk who I have made individual members.
    My PROBLEM:
    I  have created a SharePoint 2013 Workflow using SPD 2013 associated with the  Form Library. Workflow is set to start on new or modified item. The first action is to write to history list, then determine the status (Submitted or Pending) of
    the form and go to different Stages depending on that status.
    The workflow works perfectly for any user who has been added directly to the SharePoint group (Team Meetings Members) BUT FAILS at the very first action for anyone who is a member of one of the AD groups. I know the Workflow is fine because I've tested it
    with numerous people who are direct members of the SharePoint Group, but whenever a person who is a member of the AD group tries it the Workflow just fails.
    Here's a print of the info from the Workflow Status page (I don't have access to server logs):
    RequestorId: 4494760f-92ff-2e8c-90d2-cc7df0e6baa4. instance, ActivityExecutor executor, BookmarkManager bookmarkManager) at System.Activities.Runtime.ActivityExecutor.ExecuteActivityWorkItem.ExecuteBody(ActivityExecutor
    Members of the SharePoint Group "Team Meetings Members" have Contribute Access to both the form library and another list that the workflow writes to as well as the Workflow History list (which in SP 2013 uses the credentials of the
    user who started the workflow, unlike 2010 which used System Account).
    All members of the Team Meetings Members group, whether they are individual members or part of one of the AD groups, have no problems opening and saving forms etc. It's just the Workflow that doesn't like them...
    I am stumped. I've spent many hours searching for a reason for this. There are about 200 people in the two AD groups so I really don't want to have to add them all individually - especially when these groups are managed in AD for a whole bunch of other reasons
    and using the AD groups means I'll basically never have to worry about modifying the SharePoint access permissions.
    Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what I can try to fix it?
    Mark

    Hi Lars,
    I'm afraid not so far but we are trying a few things today so I will post back with results.
    First thing we are doing is making the AD Group universal because one of our (external provider) gurus remembers seeing something about that. He also sent me a link to a post where they were talking about earlier
    versions but having similar issues and their solution was to make sure the app pool account has sufficient permissions in AD::
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/27a547da-5cc0-49d7-8056-6eb40b4c3242/failed-to-start-workflow-access-is-denied-exception-from-hresult-0x80070005-eaccessdenied
    This part of that thread looks interesting but we haven't checked it yet as were trying the universal setting first:
    "If the users participating in the workflows have been added to the SharePoint site via Active Directory groups, SharePoint has to update the user’s security token periodically by connecting to
    the domain controller. By default, the token times out every 24 hours. But if the application pool account did not have the right permissions on the domain controller to update the user’s token, user will keep getting the access denied error. The error was
    intermittent because when the user browsed to any page other than the workflow form, the token was getting updated successfully.
    You can try to fix it through granting the application pool account the appropriate permission by adding the account to the group “Windows Authorization Access Group” in Active Directory."
    I'll update when we try these ideas. If you have any luck please do the same.

  • Anonymous User Overview

    Hi,
    We currently have a portal with several registered users but would like to grant access to guests to give them a 'read only' view of the portlal. I've heard of the anonymous user which sounds like the ideal thing but can't find an overview of how the anonymous user works.
    Search results just reveal methods that can be used and what level of content personalisation a tracked anonymous, untracked anonymous.... users get. Could anyone point me in the right direction for info on how to set up the login, web.xml etc.
    Users currently log in using
    <form method="POST" action="j_security_check" name="login">
    How would an anonymous user log in?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Alex.

    Why would you need your anonymous user to login?
    If you are running in streaming mode, you could entitle certain portlets to the "anonymous" role, which is a built-in role. Those portlets would only show for anonymous users. Other portlets can be entitled to specific roles that you create, or to the OOTB "Authenticated user" role.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to promt user to save changes when changing non-database fields?

    Hi,
    I have a form with two tabs. The datablock Block_1 on tab_2 is based on a database view. But all the displayed items of Block_1 are non-database items. Whenever a user changes some items in Block_1 and presses save button, the values from non_db items get copied to the db_items (based on view) and commit_form is called. This works fine.
    But the problem here is: after changing some items in block_1, if the user navigates to some other option/form from the menu , the form doesnt promt the user to 'save the changes' and all the changes made are lost. How can I fix that?
    I have a form level key-exit trigger, (which does not fire) with following code :-
    Declare
      X  Number;
      alert_is             alert;
    Begin
    If :System.Mode = 'ENTER-QUERY' Then
           Exit_Form;
    Else
      If :System.Form_Status In ('NEW','QUERY') Then
           alert_is := FIND_ALERT('TMPL_EXIT'); -- "Are you sure you want to exit?"
        X := Show_Alert('TMPL_EXIT');
        If X = Alert_Button1 Then
           Exit_Form(no_validate);
        End If;
        Else
           Exit_Form;
      End If;
    End If;
    End;

Try to copy values to the db_items not in save button, but in WHEN-VALIDATE_ITEM of non_db items.- I created the non-db items becoz, it was asking me 'Do you want to save changes', even when I only queried data from the view (becoz i was doing some computations while displaying the items. and the form assumed that the DB items were begin changed ). Inorder to get rid of that problem, i used mirror_items (non-db) for all the db items.
    So under this scenario, when i copy values to the db_items in WHEN-VALIDATE_ITEM trigger of non_db items, the form considers the db_items are changed and asks 'Do you want to save changes' even when the user has not made any changes and only queried data.

  • PowerPivot for SharePoint 2013 experience

    Hi,
    Does anybody have practical experience with PowerPivot for SharePoint (especially SharePoint 2013) to implement a self-service BI scenario in an on premise environment?  Some questions that I’m particular interested in:
    • What major problems did you experience during the actual implementation?
    • Experience in connection to existing SQL Server Data Warehouses as a PowerPivot data source?
    • Authentication of “SSAS server in SharePoint mode” to existing SharePoint 2013 farm
    • Resource Load on existing SharePoint application and SQL Server, for example does it make sense to create a dedicated application server for the Excel /PowerPivot service application, for performance / future scalability reasons?
    • Hardware suggestion for a dedicated “SSAS server in SharePoint mode” for a total of 1000 PowerPivot users
    Thanks

    Hi Ibmkahm2,
    According to your description, you need to implement business intelligence in SharePoint Server 2013, right?
    The business intelligence tools for SharePoint Server 2013 include Power View for SharePoint, SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services for SharePoint, Power Pivot for SharePoint, Excel Services, PerformancePoint Services, and Visio Services. Here are some
    useful links for you reference.
