Asking for SDM password when deploy locally

Hi,
when i am trying to deploy it asking for the SDM password. I have installed NWD workplace in my pc locally. still i am unable to deploy and run the program.
please help me, and suggest me steps to get rid of this problem.
Cheers,
karthik

Even if your project is not on DTR, ie. local developement you require J2EE sever to deploy your applicaltion.
Go to windows>preferences>SAp J2ee wngine-->set the sever and port.
If its your local WAs set localhost and port 3601.
when you will delpoly the Application, it will ask you for SDM password.

I am no longer being asked for a password when downloading an app or music in iTunes, big problem with kids. How do I enable

To elaborate further, in those restrictions you can specify exactly what types of actions you would like to restrict.
I think you'll find this accomplishes your objective.

Try using your computer password. I tried any password I could think of relating to my phones, but it was none of them; it was, in fact, my computer password.

  • IBook no longer asking for a password when waking from sleep or screensaver

My iBook was fine until I installed the Security Update 2006-002 via software update. After the "required" reboot (reboot #1) everything functioned as normal.
On a subsequent reboot (#2) and several other reboots trying to correct the problem (#3-#5) I've found that my iBook no longer asks for a password when coming out of the screensaver, or when waking from sleep.
Yes, I have checked the security pref panel every time and have ensured the checkbox is checked. I even Sudo'd the panel just to be sure.
I downloaded the aforementioned security update and re-applied it. It corrected the problem during the same "required" reboot (#1), but after rebooting the computer a 2nd and 3rd time the problem has came up again.
I wish my iBook wasn't sick! Thanks, I tried searching as best as I could to see if this is a repost.

I don't have a specific fix but this generalized fix seems to take care of most problems for me. Download Cocktail, Onyx or MainMenu then run Rebuild Launch Services database, the maintenance (cron) scripts, clean all caches then Repair Permissions and restart.
To test it don't keep restarting, that's extra wear and tear on the computer, just put it to sleep and wake it or log out then back in.
If that doesn't work get Disk Warrior and rebuild the directory.
And if that doesn't work do an archive and install then one big upgrade.
But don't go past running one of those three utilities until you see if someone has a better fix for you. It might be as simple as trashing a preferences file.

  • My mac keeps asking for a password when I try to install adobe flash player and even with the hint I

My mac keeps asking for a password when I try to install adobe flash player. Even with the hint I'm not getting it and also tried uninstall and the same thing occurred.

It's referring to the MAC password that you have setup.
A software prompts for a password only when there are restrictions set on the user account for unauthorised access to system files and folders.

  • My MacBook Pro is asking for a password, when trying to play DVD. Anybody experienced that before.

One of user's MacBook Pro is asking for a password, when trying to play DVD. Anybody experienced that before?
Maybe the DVD itself is password protected, the user is travelling abroad.
    Thank you in advance

    Hi m,
My guess is the DVD is from another region than the one the optical drive is set to. Region changes are limited to 5 total, so it asks for the admin password to make sure you want to do it/allow it. After #5, the drive is locked to that region forever.

  • I get asked for a password when i did not yet set one (after a system reset for the same problem)

I am getting asked for a password when i have yet to set one.  I have already done a reset and am still getting prompted for a password, which I do not know.

If you can't remember the Restrictions passcode you have to either:
    - Restore the iPod from a backup that does not have the passcode, or
    - Restore the iPod to factory settings/new iPod.

  • Cant receive my yahoo mail on my latest ipad, keeps asking for my password, when I respond same message- password

Suddenly can't receive my yahoo mail on my latest ipad, keeps asking for my password, when i
put it in,same message flashes up, reset does not work, also waiting for apple time lapse, still does not want to give me my yahoo mail on this format, tried talking to apple online contact, cut off, I'm receiving through safari, nothing through my email app

Give it time. Yahoo has been doing things to their servers that often muck up the Mail app. Usually it takes 24-48 hours to run its course then it'll work again.
if it doesn't clear up by the end of the weekend, you can remove and readd your account, but chances are it'll just start to work.

  • Mac Mail no longer asks for a password when opening gmail

    Hello all,
When I try and open my email account the password box no longer pops up.Don't know what happened.I use gmail and it always worked fine. Can anyone help me with this?Thank you very much. All reponses are apreciated.

In Mail Preferences, Accounts item: I tried to delete the password (but that did not save). I got this idea from some Mail Help item that I cannot seem to find again. I cannot recall how I did it in Snow Leopard, but I had it set to ask for a password that was used solely for Mail. It would not download anything until I entered that password. Note: I am not on a network; just the single user of the MacPro. Thank you for any guidance you might be able to offer.

  • Asking for my password when I try and delete a file

I have a few files that I can't seem to delete without the computer asking for my password. When I try and delete them, it shows this message:
    Authenticate
Finder requires that you type your password
Then the window has fields for my name and password. Under the Details arrow it says this:
    Requested right: com.apple.desktopservices
    Application: /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app
I'm not happy with having to provide my password just to delete a file. And not all files produce this result. Why does it do this?
    Cheers,
    Tina

Select the folder containing the file in the Finder and choose Get Info from the File menu; if the file is on the desktop, click on the desktop so that no icon is selected. Under Ownership & Permissions, change the settings so you have Read & Write access to the folder. This should not be done in system-level folders.
You will be asked to enter your password when you try to delete the file in the following circumstances:
    1. If the folder you're deleting the file from is set not to allow you write access. This is the most common case.
    2. If the folder containing the file has the Locked checkbox set. This cannot be turned on or off in the Finder in versions of Mac OS X older than 10.4. If this was the case, you would be told that you didn't have permission to delete the file even after entering your password.
    3. If the enclosing folder has the sticky bit set and neither the file nor the enclosing folder are owned by your account. No item in your home folder should have the sticky bit set, but other parts of the hard disk(such as /Users/Shared/ and the hard disk itself) do.

  • My iphone keeps going in circles asking for my password when I try to update apps, help!

My iphone 4 (not sure if its a 4 or 4S) stopped letting me update my apps after an ios update a few months ago. When I go to the 'updates' section in the app store, I have several apps that need to be updated. Whether I click 'update all' or try to update each app individually, it asks for my password. I input my password, but the updates do not start. If I click 'update' or 'update all' again, it again asks for my password, and just keeps going in the circle without ever actually starting the updates. This is happening on my ipad as well. I know an option is to delete my apps and reinstall, but I don't want to do that and really feel there must be a way to go back to being able to update. I've tried turning my phone off and on and reseting, but now with two ios updates later, I'm still not able to update any of my apps. Help!

Were these apps acquired with the same Apple ID?
Authorization for the update requires the password for the Apple ID used to acquire the content.
Does the same issue occur if attempting to update the apps via iTunes on the computer?

  • Why does iTunes keep asking for my password when I want to listen to my music on my iPhone?

When I want to listen to music on my iPhone, iTunes keeps asking for my password.  I am not purchasing anything.  It started today.  Why is that?

I've been having the same problem on my iPad and iPhone. I talked to Apple customer service this morning. They had me do the following on both devices in the Settings:
    * Sign out of iTunes & App Store
    * Sign out of FaceTime
    * Sign out of Game Center
    * Delete iCloud account
They also had me restore my iPad due to some glitchy behavior in the Music app.
Things seemed to me fixed for a few hours until I went into the iTunes Store app on my iPad and added a movie to my Wish List. When I went back to the Music app, the dreaded "Sign In to iTunes Store" popup started showing up again on both devices. Suspicious!
So, I cleared out my Wish List in both the iTunes Store and App Store. I've been poking at the Music app on both my iPhone and iPad since then I haven't seen that popup once since then. I'm not going to declare victory yet since it's only been an hour or two, but I thought that this was worth mentioning.

  • Why does Intel version always ask for my password when adding loops?

When I add loops to the PPC version, it never asks for my password. I want this behavior on the Intel version. Always asking for my password’s really annoying. Thanks very much. Peace.

Being able to to access, install and change anything on your computer with a simple keystroke is just not a good thing security wise. Maybe you don't download from unknown sources, use a wifi network, use public or work networks, IM, let others use your computer or let OS and software get out of date. But people reading this may not be in your situation. Most password hacking tools will start with single keystrokes and no password will gain access in a fraction of a second.

  • X61 Bizarrely Asking for HDD Password when one not set??

Had some odd problems with my X61 last Friday with it dropping into 'stand-by' mode (Windows XP) every 30 seconds or so.  Trying to clear it I cycled the power and now it's asking for a HDD password - when I've not had a HDD password set since I installed PGP WDE 12+ months ago!!
I've tried the current PGP password, together with all of the passwords I used around the time I installed PGP - nothing works.
Removing the HDD and booting gets me to the BIOS settings and I've tried switiching the Passphrase setting (discussed in another post) and trying all the passwords again - still no good.  I've also tried the Drive in an alternate x61.
Anyone heard of anything like this?

Attach the HDD, turn on computer and press <Enter> if you are requested for the password.
Sometimes it can happen, that the user is asked for a password, even none has been set.
