Asking me to authorize my laptop, even though that it is already authorized.

I have all my music from my iPod touch to my computer. My computer is not Apple, but I have iTunes on it. And on some of the songs that I want to listen to, A message will pop up and say that the song is not authorized to play. So, I will enter my Apple ID and password, and it says that it's already authorized. But the thing is, on other songs, it will play and that message won't pop up. Another thing is that for the songs that won't play on my laptop, will play just fine on my iPod. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Delete and redownload those songs if doing so is free in your country.

I synced my iPod Classic this morning. As soon as I did, a pop-up said that unless I authorize the computer it would delete all the movies on my player. I went ahead and did it. Then it said I now have authorized 2 computers and have a few left remaining.
Why did it do this?

Delete the Album including files from your iTunes, then go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through Music tabs to download again for free

hello. i am having hard time with my iphone 4s. actually, i did set my passcode using the tamil keyboard. my passcode was 'ka' and 'lai'. there's no such alphabet in the keyboard. in order to get "lai" we've to tap "la" and "i". so, it will transform into "lai". i did this in my settings. and when i locked the phone and tapped the word "ka', "la" and "i', this time the two alphabets are not transforming into "lai". it keep remains as two different alphabets. so, i couldn't unlock my iphone 4s. then, i decided to factory reset it via itunes. but, there's a problem again. when i tapped the restore button it is asking me to update iphone software even though it is up to date. and yet when i clicked the download button, it will start the downloading process but after sometime there will be an error in downloading. so, until now i couldn't unlock my iphone. i hope there will a reply as soon as possible.

All Apple iTunes Store accounts must have a valid form of payment set up. Even for free apps and updates. The Payment Declined message comes from your card issuer or payment source; Apple is just a pass-through for the message. You need to find out why your issuer is declining your card.

Go and log out of your MobileMe account and then try logging back in again with a dummy username and password. This can help clear it and then just log back in again with your normal username and password.
Note though that iWeb does not require a password or username to use it - this is MobileMe.
Also, start thinking about MobileMe alternatives before you are forced to in June.

Keep getting prompted to install flash player 8, even though flash 10 is already installed.

Hi, I've made a flash file (mac, Flash 5.5) and exported the .html. .swf and .js file with settings to Flash player 8.
My viewers on a PC (Firefox 8 on XP) keep getting asked to download Flash player 8 even though they already have Flash 10 installed.
I've even unticked the 'check for flash version' option in the publish settings, but the users still get asked to update to player 8.
Our average user is using a PC with IE 6 or 7.

I myself think that (for instance) "A tribe called Quest" should be sorted under "A", not "T".
Now I can edit the sort options manually per track and/or per selection, but I would really like to just kill this "iTunes-knows-how-you-should-sort"-feature in iTunes.
Anyone any suggestion on how to do that?

Here is a modified version of one of Doug's Scripts. My modification was to add Sort Name to the list of tags that could be changed. I tried it on a single track and it worked. I recommend backing up your library first. Select the tracks you want to change (or all tracks) and run the script from the Applescript Editor. If it works as intended, save it so you can apply it to newly imported tracks. And, yes, I know this isn't the exact answer to your question, you want to change a preference setting in iTunes (if there is such a setting).

I have a similar problem. I actually spoke with a Paypal customer Representative a few months back who informed me that they had deleted all of my previous *Hidden* Address but when I just purchased an item today on a online merchant's site that I had never been to before and checked out using their Paypal option, I noticed that my default shipping address was in fact my old address and when I went to change the address to my current address, I noticed all of the old addresses I ever used were still there. I've just spoken with 2 separate paypal representatives who confirmed on their end that all of the old address have been deleted and the only one they have on file is my current address. Can anyone provide me an explanation as to why the old hidden address can still be showing up when I check out on merchant's sites using paypal even after they've seemingly been deleted? The last Representative suggested clearing out my browser's cache, but I don't believe that will resolve my issue. Thank you in advance.
