You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

I have a business customer that i am trying to assist that has a corporate passcode that he uses. And of coarse he was driving while typing in his code. And now he cann't get the code to go through. Hooked the phone to an itunes and it will not progress with out the passcode what can we do?

Patch cluster pass code - NEW from Sun just to inconvenience you

Wow. A few of the admins here, myself included, had to throw the latest patch cluster onto a few of our servers. Sun is now requiring a pass code as an argument! And they've hidden the pass code in the README with the excuse that it's to get you to read it.
Anyway, this "pass code" is "s10cluster". So, you have to run "./installcluster --s10cluster" to get the thing to install. {grumble} A pass code to install a cluster. Ridiculous.{grumble}
That said, some of the other changes they've made to the install script are very welcome.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Updated my iPad to IOS7. Now is asks for a pass code, but I've never used a pass code on it before.

Does anyone know how to bypass the pass code after updating iPad to ios7? I've never used a pass code before and now it asks me for one. Also, my iPad is now disabled due to too many attempts to unlock it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
