whenever i go to "volume limit" it asks me to enter code, how do i get rid of this i never entered a code, and if someone else in family did, nobody remembers it.

Somebody entered in, make them confess!
In the meantime, to remove it Restore your Nano iTunes (which will remove all your music) and Resync it.

If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
after boot up make your changes again and see if it works

Are you attempting to synchronise new or existing photographs between your devices? My Photo Stream can only synchronise new photographs.

HT201209 Itunes account shows 75.00 unable to use in Mac App store asked for code i no longer have

New macBook pro I uploaded Itunes gift card by reading directly into mac. Now see a valid balance so I trashed the gift cards. When trying to redeem in the Mac App store it asks for a code. Any thoughts?

My brand new iPad 2 3G is asking for code.

It will not be the sim card, because the message would read as 'no sim card installed' and you can still get into your iPad.
The code is possibly the passcode your are seeing, which is similar to a password except it uses numbers.
And who ever gave this iPad to you, they will need to supply you the passcode. If not, then you will need to restore the iPad through iTunes as a new iPad.
If it's not the passcode then please let us know exactly what the message says.

No, there isn't a default code. The code is entered by you to lock the nano.

Family cannot download from family sharing because it asks for code from cancelled card

I'm the primary user on family sharing and have recently put a new card on the account. When my boyfriend goes to download music or update an app it continues to ask him for the verification code for the cancelled card. How do I fix this?

That is because the App you are trying to update is associated with a different Apple ID. Apps and other purchases are tied to the apple ID that they were initially downloaded with.
Your options are:
1. Enter the password associated with the Apple ID being prompted for, or
2. Delete the App and then redownload it using your current Apple ID. If it is a free app, no problem. If it is a paid app, you would have to pay for it.

For some reason when he is not at home, and tries to make a call it askes for his code, how come that. He also have trouble that it wont sent messages first time he want to...

it is when he is calling, but he also have troubles when he is texting, that it wont send the message...
There was no trouble with the card in the iPhone...
but the man from the phonecompany had trouble with the simcard when he did put it in the phone, it wouldn't accept the card at the beginning...

Sites asking for codes

sites requiring a set of letters to be entered before acceptance into a survey/competition cannot be completed using firefox. The request using IE is successful.

I agree that one must play with the software and an actual cart to understand the software capabilities as it would apply to an individual situation.
Be forewarned if you need to import VPP apps that have a comma or other punctuation mark in the title because you will not be able to install the apps and according to Apple there is no work around. I had the same problem with "Beautiful Planet: HD" Luckily we have 2 carts and only one has been set up with the Configurator so if anyone needs to use that app they will have to use the other cart. Once an iPad has been associated with the Configurator there is no other way to install apps on it (unless you unsupervise it and then restore it to factory defaults and start from scratch using imaging or whatever.)
I think that this bug is reason to wait for version 1.1...unless you know for certain that you have no VPP apps with punctuation in the titles.

If you are trying to reset the device then iOS 7's new security requires you to enter the passcode for the device. This prevents a thief from resetting a stolen phone and selling it new. If you cannot enter the correct passcode, then you can reset the device.

E90 still asking for unlock code after hard reset

I forgot the unlock code for nokia e90 i bought used. it was bought from ireland. so i was searching the forums and i found the *+3+call button+switch on technique to hard reset. the hard reset is complete but fone asks for code and now i am totally struck. please help.

The full reset only resets the unlock code for a few models. Obviously the E90 is not one of them. This means it can only be reset by a Nokia Care Point. You will need to bring proof of purchase/ownership with you.
