Asks me for answers before changing security questions???
I can't change my security questions, because t asks me for the answers when I click on "My Apple ID" then "Password and Security"??? Stupid!!!
I want to change my security questions because I forgot them, but I have to answer them before changing them!!!
That doesn't make sense!!!

I was told that if you reset the password then u can get in and reset the security questions, but I am having problems with it. Apple also has a page on it in there support area, u just have to type it into the search engine and it gives u a list a messages about security questions and support pages.

i can't purchase music on my itunes account anymore. it keeps asking for answers to security questions that i did not answer. i have purchesed all the music through my ipod but last time i tried it said " since this is the first time you are purchasing through you ipod you need to answer 2 security questions. how do i get past this. i have 1 guess left as to the possible answers. won't let me pick different questions.

When creating a new Apple ID for use with the iTunes Store or Mac App Store, you will be asked to provide an optional rescue email address. If you have an existing Apple ID that you use with the iTunes Store or Mac App Store, you may be asked to provide some additional security information, including a rescue email address. When you provide a rescue email address, all future security emails, such as password resets from iForgot, will be sent to the address provided. The rescue email address you provide cannot be the same as your primary email address for your Apple ID. In most cases, your primary email address is the same as your Apple ID username.

When trying to download an APP, it's requesting setup for answers to 3 security questions and it hangs up the iPad when clicking the drop down for the questions...any ideas?
Had to do a hard reboot on the iPad and we were able to get the questions to pop up. Now it's just slow downloading the apps.

Normally you need to call Apple Care for the country where the ID is located. You have changed countries and complicated it by making a new ID. I don't know what to suggest beyond calling Apple Care for Italy and asking them to help you recover the old ID.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 . I cannot remember the answers to my security questions. How do I reset them?
I believe that Apple are in the process of automatically setting any questions that have not been previously set up by the account owner ... "At this time, the security questions which appear are pre-set by Apple and may not be able to be answered, due to them being automatically issued."
The only way of resetting these is by enquiring (I used expresslane for itunes, i think the same link as above), they will email back (within 24 hours) and ask some questions and when you answer they will reset the security questions. Check your spam folder as my responses were sent to Spam by google. -

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions; nobody on these boards can.
