Hi, you say that
+"it shows windows with two paths and both of them a disable.+
+I cannot select those path+
+select the disk to be stamped. it shows partiton1 and partion2."+
Disable because have formatted these drive, delete these volumes and do not format then you will see these as enable,Then you can create ASM instance and diskgroups, finally you can create database using this disk groups.

  • Needs to be configured for Windows... but it already is!

I just bought a brand new 80GB iPod Classic today. I hooked it up to my laptop's USB port, and the first time it showed up in my iTunes directory. Unfortunately iTunes informed that my iPod was corrupted, so I restored it. This happened TWICE.
The third time I hooked it up, the iPod didn't show up in the directory, but a pop-box appeared telling me that the iPod needed to be configured for Windows, and would I like to configure now? I clicked yes, and nothing happened. Once I checked the iPod, I saw that the Version was 1.0.2. PC.
Any ideas how to get my iPod up and running? Thanks in advance.

  • I'm looking for Windows Apple Configurator for iOS7.

I am looking for the Apple Configurator for Windows that supports iOS7. I need to install a CA certificate on my iPhone and iPad. Does anyone know where I can find the utility, when it will be available?  Are the other options to install a certificate?
    Thank you.

I just noticed that the apple configurator app for MacOS was updated yesterday to add ios7 support, so hopefully the iPhone configuration utility for windows won't be too far behind.
On the other hand, I did just go through the existing profile I had from ipcu 3.62 and made a few changes, removing payload properties that weren't listed in the reference and also were not something obviously necessary.  After that, it seems that the mobileconfig file will apply to an ios 7 device, so that might get me what I need for now.

    Hi,
This issue is always caused that you had missed FBA configuration in web config of your web application.
You can configure the FBA authentication then check whether it works.

  • Jabber for Windows Group Configurations IM/Presence only

    Hi All,
Jabber for Windows can be customized for groups using the Cisco Support Field at CSF device.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/Windows/9_0_1/b_jabber_win_icg_chapter_0110.html#JABW_TK_C6D444A8_00
How can I configured this for users without a CSF device (IM/Presence only users)?
    Regards
    Helmut

Well, you may have 1 global jabber-config.xml for all your deskphone mode only Jabber and customized ones for CSFs, all pushed via CUCM. That's we do usually.
The restriction is to not be able to customize deskphone only config after installation for a specific group.

  • Jabber for windows 9.2.1 - InitialPhoneSelection doesn't work if configuration is in custom config file

    Hi,
my customer wanted set InitialPhoneSelection to deskphone mode, when users firs run Jabber for Windows (ver. 9.2.1).
I created custom config (configurationfile=jabber-config-deskphone.xml) but it doesn't work.
    Policies>
         <InitialPhoneSelection>deskphone</InitialPhoneSelection>
    </Policies>
I tested it couple times and at the end I tried put configuration to default jabber-config.xml and ... this functionality start working...
Could you check guys if you have same problem with custom config file? I think that it is bug. Maybe other option don't work in custom config file.
    Thanks a lot
    Pavel

    Hi Pavel,
This setting is only when the client is installed and started by the user for the first time. After that the client will save the user preference (what was the phone selection when the user exited the client)  and use it in subsequent logins.
Having said that, can you please specify in details how exactly you did your tests or maybe test again taking the above into consideration ?
    Thanks,
    Christos

  • I am trying to resize disk space on parallels 6 for windows XP under configure Hardrive and I get the error resizing failed unable to resize last volume the file system of this volume might be damaged or not supported?  I am on a Mac using Parallels 6

I have been trying to increase my disk space for windows xp on my Imac and I am running parallels 6.  before opening windows I go into configure in parallels and open the hard drive and try to move the allotted disk space from 32 gig to 64 or any other increased gig and then apply and I get the error message: resizing failed unable to resize last volume.  The file system of this volume might be damaged or not supported.  How do I increase the size??  I just also did a disk repair utility with Apple on the Apple side of my IMAC.  Please Help!!   I had uninstalled SQL server on the windows side and needed to uncompress files to install this and then I ran short on disk space.

This sounds to me that your Parallels XP file system is corrupted and not the OSX file system.
Have you checked the XP file system while running the Parallels XP yet ?
However, it would be better to ask such question in the Parallels Forum http://forum.parallels.com/

  • How to reuse the same disk (partition) for next ASM configuration?

    Hello All,
I had successfully installed and configured ASM instance once, but I need to do a reinstallation and I would like to use the same disk (partition) as with previous ASM configuration.
The disk path used was: /dev/rdsk/c1t3d0s7
I have to regretfully admit that I may not have used the right ASM un-installation procedure. I ran installer and opted to de-install products. Consequently, I had removed ASM home. Now, when I running new ASM installation, everything goes fine until the screen where I should select disks for ASM configuration. Unfortunately, I see the /dev/rdsk/c1t3d0s7 with status > MEMBER < and I can't select it for the new ASM installation.
I will really appreciate if anyone can let me know how to change status from MEMBER to CANDIDATE.
    Thank you for your time.
    DanielD

Overwrite the first several MB of the partition with /dev/zero.
    So, use this command:
    # dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/rdsk/c1t3d0s7 bs=1024k count=10
That clears out the ASM header on the disk so that it looks like a clean disk again.

  • How to configure a proxy server for Windows Azure Tools in Visual Studio 2013

    Hi Visual Studio/Azure Tools team
I would like to use the Windows Azure tools in Visual Studio 2013 to manage my Azure Web sites (Server Explorer -> Windows Azure -> Web Sites) from within my corporate network which is secured using a proxy server. Unfortunately, I am not able to use
the Windows Azure tools since the required HTTPS connection to windows azure is not going through the default configured proxy. Instead, Visual Studio tries directly to connect to port 443 which is blocked by our corporate firewall (and yes: there is no way
around using our proxy server). Other visual studio features like NuGet, updates, etc. work fine and use the configured proxy server.
So my question: How can I configure visual studio respective its Azure tools to use a proxy server instead of a direct connection? I already tried configuring the proxy server within the file devenv.exe.config but this doesn't show any effect for Windows Azure
    tools.
    Regards
    tschaena

As we have very similar problems I consider the found solution a work arround an existing problem which will not work if corporate FW policy does not allow such changes.
In my mind, any tools in charge of dealing with some sort of FW protocols should deliver the following information, should make it absolute clear how to setup that the request packages are setup rigth at the first time.
    a) proxy server
    b) proxy port
    c) proxy user
    d) proxy users-password
    e) proxy.auth.Preference="BASIC"
And for moste tools (including Visual Studio and AZUR Tools) it is absolut unclear
    a) how to setup that on a per tools basis
    b) OR who inherits this information from whom    i.e. use the same as IE does, what if we use FireFox or any other browsers?
I understand that developers requested to cure such problem areas will often have difficulty to gain all required elemenst used to realy test the solution.
But I can tell you: I loos more time figthing down the FW setups for my clients. WHat I do at home in a sniff, takes ages to be realised by all the various clients on the market where each has to deliver the same sort of information but actually does not,
or has it just somewhere, but not in the vicinity of the demanding user.
Good examples i.e. NetBeans IDE where the Option Menu shows very clearly what information is required to pass through a FW/Proxy; but even there, the hint to start with a BASIC authentication schema is not part of this OPTION menu and must be added a JAVA
environment value. But at least, it works.

  • Getting SPWeb.CurrentUser as null with Windows Authentication (AD), when configured for Claims Authentication

    Hi All,
We recently migrated to SP 2013 from SP 2010. We are using most of the OOB features, with a few custom code. We have implemented a custom ASP.NET Membership Provider that authenticates against a web service. This was working fine on SP 2010.
The entire code base was migrated to SP 2013 (with .net fw 4.5, etc) and any issues Compile / Runtime were fixed. However, we are stuck at one bug, which seems to be occuring only while trying to login with Windows Authentication. When a user tries to login
with Forms Authentication, the error is never noticed.
    Scenrio: Login as Windows Authentiction.
Result: The user is signed into the system and is authenticated against the AD. For random page loads - it throws access denied (even though he is a site collection admin). While attaching a debugger, we found that, at times the SPWeb.CurrentUser is null (weird).
At the same time, the HttpContext.Current.Request.IsAuthenticated returns true. Which means the User is Authenticated, but not available in the SPWeb.CurrentUser object.
Attached are couple of ULS Logs that we found. The line which says IsAuthenticated=True, UserIdentityName=, ClaimsCount=0 is a little disturbing. Can you please let me know what is happening here? I am not able to access the root site (http://win2012d2:1234/)
however, i am able to access (http://win2012d2:1234/SitePages/Home.aspx) just fine, without any issues.
Please note, this error is only when the user is logged into sharepoint as a windows user. The forms user faces no such issues.

    Hi Mohamed,
According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when users login with Windows Authentication.
From the error message, I recommend to check if the anonymous access is enabled for the web application.
And please also make sure that the users all are available and have permission to access the site.

The Cisco documentation for configuring this is a little mystifying, but I finally tracked down the the jabber-config.xml line "<UserAccountName>mail</UserAccountName>" under <Directory> but setting this causes some strange behaviour where the IM address becomes [email protected]@voiceservicesdomain.com.
If you leave the field empty then the client resolves [email protected] Now I have set the Directory URI in CUCM to be the "mail" attribute, and I have synced this with the users but this is ignored by the Jabber Client. The IM and Presence server is set to use Directory URI as well.
The only way I have managed to get the correct IM Address to display is to set another Active Directory Attribute field to "firstname.lastname", for example you set the "ipPhone" attribute in Active Directory.
According to the Documentation this should work, but does anyone know why the client insists on using either [email protected] or when set to email it insists on suffixing "@voiceservicesdomain" to the IM Address?
Interested to see who else is hitting this issue.
    Cheers,
    James

    Hi Team,

  • Acrobat 7.1 update for Windows (with CS2 Premium) Continuous Configuration at Boot Time

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 on an IBM T43P laptop with current MSFT patches. My system is set to automatically download and apply Adobe Patches.
The patch installs, but requires "configuration" at every boot time. It completes the configuration process and requests re-boot or defer to complete the installation/configuration process.
My system has been doing this for more than a week. I finally uninstalled Acrobat 7.0 (from within CS2 Premium), re-booted, then re-installed Acrobat Pro (within CS2 Premium) for Windows. I downloaded the full 7.1 update and the process has started all over again.
Please advise, as the constant configuration at boot time and request to re-boot is annoying.
    Thanks.

I use a different version of Acrobat, so didn't pay much attention... but I do know this has been discussed before, with a solution
You might try various terms at the SEARCH link
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx?126@@.ee6b2f2
From what I do remember (as I said, no details) the solution was "something like"
1 - manually install the update from the download page
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows
    2 - turn Acrobat's automatic updating OFF
