ASM disks are not found at node2 on vmware

Hi All,
I'm very new to Oracle RAC. I was tring to install 10g rac in my desktop using vmware workstation. Also I configured the shared storage. Here i'hv rac1 and rac2 two virtual machines. while I created asm disks (ASM1,ASM2,ASM3) on rac1. While listing the asm disks at rac1 display the correct result but rac2 not returning anything.
Can anybody suggest on this. B'coz I tried several times rac installation and but it failed bcoz of mismatch ocr id.

Does rac2's operating system see the disks? Assuming Linux for the remainder of this post:
Run "fdisk -l | more" on each node and compare the output. If you know the names of the devices (maybe something like: /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd), you can do an "ls -la /dev/sdb* " on each node and compare the file permissions and ownership. What is the ASM disk discovery string? Chances are rac2 has not picked up the new partitions created on rac1, which could be corrected by running "/sbin/partprobe /dev/sdb". If the device ownership is wrong, simply changing it as the root user won't persist across reboots: you will need to setup udev rules to re-apply permissions and ownership for each boot.
Only when the operating system device files are present, and owned by the correct user ("grid" or "oracle", depending on your installation), then you will be able to scan for the devices in ASM. In the case of RAC, you'll also need to ensure the device files are named identically between nodes. ASMLIB can help, but something like device mapper (/etc/multipath.conf, can be configured even to manage a single path as is the case when using a vmware's vmdk virtual disk) is usually a more robust solution in my opinion.
Some folks incorrectly assume that ASM will eliminate the system administration tasks entirely. The only thing it eliminates is managing devices after they've been successfully configured for use by ASM. LUN creation, zoning, masking, OS provisioning to include HBA bindings et al, and lastly OS permissions are all still very much required.
If still having problems, paste the above mentioned utility outputs and we will try to help you spot the issue.

In order to be cross platform you must be using the Open Type version of all fonts to cause the least disruption. Macs can read and process the Windows .ttf type format but PCs can't process Mac formatted type. Most recent versions also cannot use the older PS Type 1 fonts.

Have you checked whether the songs are in your iTunes library? If they are, then just drag them to your purchased playlist. If they aren't, try checking for available downloads.
If none of the previous work, then get in contact directly with iTunes store support to tell them about your problem.

Catalog objects are not found sometimes.

Sometimes we hit an error that our catalog objects are not found. We find that the relevant column views in the schema _SYS_BIC are missing. So it should be the root cause. But we don't know why these views are removed. Could you give us some explanation?

TS1424 I'm having a hardtime syncing my new ipod shuffle, get a message that says my songs are not found

I'm having a difficult time transfering my songs to my new ipod shuffle 4th generation. A message says that my songs are not found. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure what procedure you are using, but you should do it this way...
First, if the sidebar (along left side of iTunes window) is not visible, from the iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
In the sidebar, find and select the shuffle under DEVICES. There is a bar with buttons toward the top, starting with Summary. Click on Music next to Summary. This is the shuffle's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the shuffle.
Check the box for Sync Music. Choose the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Under Playlists, find and checkmark that 12-song playlist. Click Apply.
Going forward, you can update that playlist (add/remove songs) in your iTunes library. The next time you connect the shuffle (or click Sync if already connected), iTunes automatically updates the shuffle with the same changes.

*database installation some folders are not found *

After removing oracle from my machine I have installed oracle 10g again developer successfully on my windows xp machine then I have installed oracle 10g database release 2 successfuly too.
after installation complete they are some files into db_1 folders like
jdbc,ojdbc,bin ...........etc are not found
the only folder found is inventory folder ,I repeat the removing and installtion trial for two times but same result.
can anyone help me.

then I went to regedit and remove oracle from it

Visual Composer services are not found

Hi there,
I have installed SAP NetWeaver 2004S SR 1 according to the installation guide which was included in the installation files. After installation of the system (excluding MaxDB Database Manager and SQL Studio) I started the server. After that I installed Adobe SVG Viewer and tried to start Visual Composer by calling http://localhost:50100/VC. When I do so, I get two error messages stating Server Error: Visual Composer services are not found and This product requires MSXML Parser v4.0. What am I doing wrong?

mh...strange.
I used the VC on our old server with my notebook without a problem (great tool!).
Now we have a new server with a new NW 04s SP10 (very fresh installed ) and there I get the "Server Error: Visual Composer services are not found" and "This product requires MSXML Parser v4.0" errors.
Unfortunately I cannot test it on the old server, because it was a interim system.

Certain websites i.e.google, yahoo, or other search engines are not found in my server. Why? They were last week. I can only access different countries' google search engines. Error 404 comes up repeatedly. Can anyone explain how to fix this?

search engines and other websites are not found in my server although they were about a week ago. Now Error 404 pops up every time I try to access the websites or search engines. I am not entirely sure when it started exactly, but if there is a way to fix it, I would be very glad to hear it.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. 
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.

Many random songs are not "found" by iTunes. How can I locate in bulk?

After I left external hard drive off, iTunes defalted to "c" drive for music file. I re-mapped itunes to my external drive yet many of my songs are not found. Why are some of my songs found while others are not? All the songs are on my external and when I individually "locate" not found songs they work fine. Is there a way to point iTunes to these songs in bulk rather than having to do each song individually??

Interesting, this is the first time I hear one can purchase songs via Facebook. Note that unless youpurchased the songs from iTunes, you will not be able to add them to the Music app on your iPHone.

im running itunes 8.0 and windows vista. I was trying to back up my library today and i got the message "Disk recording not found..." is there anyway i can fix this?

Does repairing iTunes resolve the issue?
To do so, close iTunes and navigate to the Control Panel >Programs and Features / Uninstall a program, select iTunes and choose "Change" and then choose "Repair".

One does not pull up an account to access their media, they simply launch iTunes.
Changing a password has nothing to do with accessing the media on the computer when one launches iTunes.
