ASM start error from srvctl

Hi All,
When I starting the ASM in a RAC box I am getting the below erro. How can I proceed with this error. From sqlplus I can stat the ASM instance. But from srvctl i can't.

Error while starting ManagedServer from admin console.

HI,
can any one please help me on the below error.
i got the below error when i tried to start managedserver from admin console. and below are the steps i have done before start the manages server.
1. started admin server.
2. started nodemanager from C:\bea\wlng400\server\bin\startNodeManager.cmd
3. started managed server from the admin console.
managed server name is "QualcommServer"

This classs is usually found in server\lib\wlng\wlng-management.jar, make sure it has that class and that jar is getting loaded by the server.

Disc Error -2 when starting up from CD

There was a similar post to this a year ago with no answer.
I'm trying to install 10.3 on an iMac 333. When clicking on the installer, the first thing it wants to do is start up from the CD. I get an error message saying "Startup Disc is unable to startup from the CD (-2)" or something like that. If I go to Startup Disc in the control panel, the CD is grayed out so I can't select it. The firmware installer says the firmware is up to date. I have used this CD recently to install a backup copy of 10.3 on an external drive so the CD is OK.
Any ideas on how to install 10.3?

From what you've described, it sounds as if the CD is a Panther Restore disk for another model Mac. You should be using a retail/universal installer version of Panther, which would be black CDs with a silver X, and have no reference to a specific Mac printed on them. For the purpose of identification, the disks shown in this eBay "Panther" listing are the correct ones to use. Although discontinued, Panther is still available from a number of online retailers, as well as eBay. The iMac 333 should have at least 256 MBs of installed memory (if not more), to run Panther without problems.

Obiee start page error : Error 500 internal server error---- From RFC 2068

Hi,
Atlast after 100s of attempts(it took around 2 months) I successfully installed Obiee 11g on my laptop (simple install type)
(lot of errors and lot of issues).
Now the problem is whenever I start the BI services "http://systemname:7001/analytics/saw.dll?bieehome"
it won't open some time especially when system is not connected to internet... and whenever I connect to internet it works properly..
( I installed Microsoft Loopback Adapter for static IP)....
The error I am getting when I am not connect to internet is " Error 500 internal server error---- From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol-- HTTP/1.1:
10/5/500 Internal Server Error
The server encounterd an unexpected condition whcih prevented it from fulfilling the request"
Does Obiee 11g definitely need internet connection(for standalone systems) to work properly..?

NoSuchMethod error when starting WebStart from command line (Linux)

I'm using Chainsaw via WebStart http://logging.apache.org/log4j/docs/webstart/chainsaw/chainsawWebStart.jnlpWhen I enter this link into my browser, it launches WebStart and Chainsaw starts fine (after I approve the certificate).
When I try to run it from the command line/home/JavaLibs/jdk1.5.0_02/jre/javaws/javaws http://logging.apache.org/log4j/docs/webstart/chainsaw/chainsawWebStart.jnlpWebStart launches OK and I'm asked to approve the certificate, but then I get the following exception.
I'm supposing that it's a WebStart problem, rather than a Chainsaw problem, since Chainsaw starts fine if I start it from my browser. Is this a known problem? Is there any workaround?

Which version of your eclipse? I am using eclipse 3.0 and I am able to start weblogic 8.1 from eclipse.
I did the following steps:
1.create a new domain through weblogic's configuration wizard --> basic weblogic server domain --> Express --> proive the user name and password --> development mode, and sun sdk (or other jdk) --> your new domain name
2. configure weblogic setting in eclipse: preferences --> weblogic --> 8.1, C:\bea\weblogic81, your newly created domain name --> C:\bea\user_projects\domains (domain directory) --> myserver --> admin (or your user name) --> password --> localhost --> 7001
after that, you should be able to click on "start weblogic server" button from toolbar.
Hope my two cents solve your problem.

Java Web Start Error in through codebase url with SSL

I have created one Java web-start plugin application in swing which is launched from PHP site at browser plugin.
All things were working fine, but when we implemented SSL in our site it stopped working. And when we try to start the application from browser it thorws error like:
Unable to launch Application.
In Java console it puts following log:

The issue started only after implementation of SSL in our site. Please provide any solution for this. Many thanks in advance.

As soon as I login with iChat, I get an error from MobileMe!

Hey, I've had this issue for a while, and my work around for it was just not using iChat. However, I want to use iChat now so I need a proper resolution. Now I have mobile me with my [email protected] address, and I have my iChat account with [email protected] (created before my MM subscription).
When I log into iChat for the first time, within minutes I get an error from MobileMe saying "You've entered an incorrect password for MobileMe, please try again"... I didn't do anything though.
If I go to MobileMe in System Preferences, it says: "Your password has changed. Enter your new password.
If you have not changed (or reset) your password contact MobileMe support."
If I enter my password in and get that fixed, the next time I start up iChat it says: "Your login ID or password is incorrect"... soo I'm confused.
The password for my @me and @mac addresses are different, is it possible they are sharing the same keychain? I do have the check box ticked to remember the password.

I would not repair at this time.
In the list of password you should find the one for iChat Or possibly several for iChat if you have different Account/Screen Names list by their Account names.
Double click on the one that is causing you issue.
In the new window that pops up put a tick in the Password Box. You will probably have to confirm with your Admin Password to Allow Once.
Does this show the right password ?
If not change the Password.
If it does then click the Access Tab and see if iChat is Allowed (Or Allow All is being used)
Either change to Allow All or add iChat to the List.

I was deploying a test application for a session bean with sun 1 studio 5 and I started getting this message while deploying.
I had tested the bean previously and I had no problems.
I found this in the sun app server 7 release notes, but I don't understand what I'm supposed to do...
"Deployment of CMP beans fails.
The following error is thrown because there are no <query-params> entries in the container-managed persistence (CMP) bean in sun-ejb-jar.xml file:

error message while creating OLAP Analytic Workspace with AWM.
I am creating workspace for the first time, actually following some tutorial to get some knowledge about OLAP)
I see you managed to solve you problem.
