ASP url, post method

Hi all,
I' m working on a web crawler to crawl information about company. I need to get information from a web company register http://www.ur.sk.
Url with all needed information looks like this one: http://www.ur.sk/index.asp?lang=&stranka=3&ID=0&ico=35700921 where Ico is known ID of slovak company but ID is unknown.
All I need is to search the company using this form http://www.ur.sk/index.asp?stranka=1. For example you can try to write this ICO number in the form 36513873 and click 'Hladat'. From the search results it's able to get wanted url after clicking the button 'Vypis'. Form uses post method but when I try to figure out a url with query strings it's not working.
Can anyone help me to go through that form and get the wanted url with correct ID in it..?
Thanks

An idea. Add attributes charset and throwOnError to the
cfhttp tag. remove the port attribute. Then wrap everything around
try/catch. Hopefully, that should tell us a bit more if it were to
fail again.
<cftry>
<cfhttp URL="https://<url
address>:444/2serverAuth.asp"
method="POST" charset="UTF-8" throwonerror="yes"
resolveurl="false" timeout="60">
<cfhttpparam type="Header" name="Accept-Encoding"
value="deflate;q=0">
<cfhttpparam type="Header" name="TE"
value="deflate;q=0">
<CFHTTPPARAM type="HEADER" name="User-Agent"
value="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)">

  • URL & POST Method

    I need to open a connection and send text data to a php script at my web site. I know that I can pass the data with URL like ( for example ):
    http://mywebsite/test.php?param1=value1&param2=value2 ....etc
    and when I pass this string to the URL class, that's mean that I use the GET Method.
    I need to use the POST method to be able to send a text data whatever the size. How?
    Thank's

    Pass "http://mywebsite/test.php" to the URL constructor. Open the connection, call setDoOutput(true), and set the content type to "application/x-www-form-urlencoded". Then write "param1=value1m2=value2 ....etc" to the connection output stream.

  • Need help adding filter criteria for reports with the GO URL + Post method.

    In attempts to hide some of the information from the URL, we've decided to go pull the parameters out of the url used in the GO Url method. We've managed to get it to retrieve the report and display it without showing the user name and password how we cannot seem to pass in any search criterias.
    The following is what i have:
    Can anyone help me with this issue? or provide any suggestions?

    Hi,
    Instead of this,
    <input type="hidden" name="P2" value="%22Location%22.%22Country%20ID%22" />
    can you try this:
    <input type="hidden" name="P2" value='"Location"."Country ID"' />
    Here, instead of enclosing the value in double quotes, enclose in single quotes. Also replace %22 and %20 with double quotes and space.
    Try it and let me know if this helps!

    You will need to write the WSDL by yourself. Just make sure you have the end point detail, operation name(if required) and the schema available to write the WSDL.

  • Go URL && SQL through POST-method

    Hello!
    To create reports, I use asynchronous queries like this (GET-method):
    saw.dll?Go&SQL=select+Region,Dollars+from+SupplierSales&format=xml
    But sometimes there are queries for which the length of the URL is too long. In this case I want to use the POST-method.
    For this I tried to use the following code:
    <form action="http://bi-server/analytics/saw.dll?Go" method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="SQL" value="select+Region,Dollars+from+SupplierSales" />
    <input type="hidden" name="Format" value="XML" />
    <input type="submit" value="post it" />
    </form>
    but in response I receive an error:
    Invalid Select Argument.
    Any idea how to achieve this?
    Thanks.

    This works:
    <FORM METHOD="post" ACTION="http://localhost:9704/analytics/saw.dll?" ENCTYPE="application/x-www-form-urlencoded">
    <input type=hidden name=Cmd value=Answers>
    <input type=hidden name=nqUser value=Administrator>

  • POST method not supported by this URL

    Hello gentlemen,
              We are trying to migrate our servlets from another Web Application
              Server (IBM WebSphere 2.02) to Weblogic 4.5.1.
              A servlet that did work fine with WebSphere, now produces the "POST
              method not supported by this URL" error under Weblogic.
              Of course, we implement doPost method in our servlet.
              Any idea to fix this problem? thank you.

              Emanuele--
              In the ICSessionServlet file you are posting the data to ICIdentification servlet which is
              again a servlet
              So you need to register this servlet in weblogic.properties file before you post something to
              this servlet.
              Also the way you are calling the servlet is totally wrong from weblogic standpoint
              You don't need to specify the package name in weblogic(this is OK in java web server) for e.g.
              icdoor.myservlet.session.ICIdentificationServlet.
              Because we are registering the servlet with full package name in properties file so we don't
              need to mention the package
              name here..
              Call the servlet in the following way or whichever way is suitable for you.
              Here is how i'm calling ICIdentificationServlet
              http://localhost:7001/ICIdentificationServlet
              Here is the output i'm getting after entering user name/password
              "Welcome Startfighter"
              Requested URL
              http://localhost:7001/Stupida
              Hope this helps

  • Open URL, use POST method in new window

    From a Java program, how do we open a https connection, basically a secured site, in a new window and pass some parameters to the link, using POST method?

    Hi
    Is JavaProgram a Applet or Servlet?
    Opening a new window directly from server,probably not possible? From your question
    what I understand is, A html page is displayed
    and when u click on a link opens a new window.
    The parameters to the link should be posted using POST method, again
    it is not possible this can be done only by appending
    "?name1=value1&name2=value2..."to the link

  • A page with a post method form is not opening in PageViewer web part

    Hi,
    I wanted to display a page in the Page Viewer web part. So, i gave the URL of the page in the Page Viewer web part.
    The page is rendered as expected.
    Now, the page has a link when clicked opens another page which has a form with a post method. The issue is the page with the form is not opening. I want the page to open and function as expected.
    Any suggestions?

    Hello Raghavendra_RT,
    Is that page on SharePoint, or is that on the internet?
    If the second is the case I would just use a hyperlink which opens in a new tab via target blank attribute:
    http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_a_target.asp
    And you can place it in a content editor web part.
    Btw, with SharePoint 2013 you can use the Script Editor Web Part to embed a form from a source like Survey Monkey:

    Hi,
    I encouter the same problem, when my application is launched
    from Flex Builder I can send parameters in Post to my servlet. I am
    using a URLRequest and navigateToUrl. I need to navigate to the url
    because the servlet send me a .doc file I must open.
    When I execute the application from an IFrame, the servlet
    doesn't receive any parameters (it works if I send with the GET
    method). My problem is that I must use POST because the size of the
    parameters could exceed the max length allowed by the get method
    (1024).
    Does someone have a workaround, to call navigateToUrl with
    the POST method when the swf file is hosted in a IFrame ? If there
    is not, is it a bug of flex, of the flash player or a security
    restriction ?
    Thanks,
    David

  • Trying to Imitate the html POST  method with an applet

    I am trying to imitate the POST method with an applet, so that I can eventually send sound from a microphone to a PHP script which will store it in a file on a server. I am starting out by trying to post a simple line of text by making the PHP script think that it is receiving the text within a POST-ed file. The reason I am doing things this way is in part because I am, for the time being, limited to a shared server without any support for servlets or any other server side java.
    The code I am trying is based in part on an old thread found elsewhere in this forum, concerning sending data to a PHP file by imitating the POST method:
    link:
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=530399&messageID=2603608
    someone named "harmmeijer" provided most of the answers on that thread. If that person is still around hope they take a look at this,also I have some questions to clarify what they said on the other thread..
    My first attempt at code is below. The applet is in a signed jar file and is trying to pass a text line to the PHP script in the same directory and on the same server that the applet came from. It is doing this by sending header information that is supposed to be identical to what an html form would send if it was uploading a .txt file with the line of text within it. The applet displays one button. When you press it, it sucessfully starts up the postsim method (defined at the end), which is supposed to send the info to the PHP script at the server.
    I have two questions:
    1) I know that the PHP script is starting up, because it prints out a few messages depending on what happens. However, the script does not recognize any file coming down the line, so it does not save anyting on the server, and prints out a message saying the no file was uploaded.
    Any idea what might be going wrong? I'm not getting any error messages from the applet. I've tried a few different variations of the 'header' information contained in the line:
    osToServer.writeBytes("--****4353\r\nContent-Disposition: form-data; name=\"testfile\"; filename=\"C:testfile.txt\"\r\nContent-Type: text/plain\r\n");
    The commented out line below it shows one variation (which was given in the thread mentioned above).
    2) You'll notice that I've commented out the two lines having to do with the input line:
    //InputStream isFromServer;
    and
    //isFromServer = uc.getInputStream();
    The reason is that the program crahes whenever I put the latter line in - to the extent that Opera closes down the JVM and then crashes when I tried to exit it.. I must be doing something horribly wrong there! I first tried using isFromServer = new DataInputStream(uc.getInputStream());
    becuase it was consistent with the output stream, but that caused the same problem.
    Here's the code:
    public class AudioUptest1 extends Applet{
    //There are a few spurious things defined in this section, having to do with the fact the microphone data is evenuatly going to be sent. haven't yet insterted code to get input from a microphone.
    AudioFormat audioFormat;
    TargetDataLine targetDataLine;
    SourceDataLine sourceDataLine;
    DataOutputStream osToServer;
    //InputStream isFromServer;
    URLConnection uc;
    final JButton captureBtn = new JButton("Capture");
    final JPanel btnPanel = new JPanel();
    public void init(){
    System.out.println("Started the applet");
    try
    URL url = new URL( "http://www.mywebsite.com/handleapplet.php" );
    uc = url.openConnection();
    //Post multipart data
    uc.setDoOutput(true);
    uc.setDoInput(true);
    uc.setUseCaches(false);
    //set request headers
    uc.setRequestProperty("Connection", "Keep-Alive");
    uc.setRequestProperty("HTTP_REFERER", "http://applet.getcodebase");
    uc.setRequestProperty("Content-Type","multipart/form-data; boundary=****4353");
    osToServer = new DataOutputStream(uc.getOutputStream());
    //isFromServer = uc.getInputStream();
    catch(IOException e)
    System.out.println ("Error etc. etc.");
    return;
    //Start of GUI stuff
    captureBtn.setEnabled(true);
    //Register listeners
    captureBtn.addActionListener(
    new ActionListener(){
    public void actionPerformed(
    ActionEvent e){
    captureBtn.setEnabled(false);
    //Postsim method will send simulated POST to PHP script on server.
    postsim();
    }//end actionPerformed
    }//end ActionListener
    );//end addActionListener()
    add(captureBtn);
    add(btnPanel);
    // getContentPane().setLayout(new FlowLayout());
    // setDefaultCloseOperation(EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
    setSize(250,70);
    setVisible(true);
    }//end of GUI stuff, constructor.
    //These buffers might be made larger.
    byte tempOutBuffer[] = new byte[100];
    byte tempInBuffer[] = new byte[100];
    private void postsim(){
    System.out.println("Got to the postsim method");
    try{
    //******The next four lines are supposed to imitate a POST upload from a form******
    osToServer.writeBytes("--****4353\r\nContent-Disposition: form-data; name=\"testfile\"; filename=\"C:testfile.txt\"\r\nContent-Type: text/plain\r\n");

    Hi All,
    I was trying to write a signed applet that helps the
    user of the applet to browse the local hard disk and
    select a file from the same. The JFileChooser class
    from Swing is what I used in my applet. The problem
    is with the policy file. I am not able to trace the
    exact way to write a policy file which gives a total
    access to read,write,delete,execute on all the drives
    of the local hard disk.
    I am successful in signing the applets and performing
    operations : read,write,delete & execute on a single
    file but failing to grant permission for the entire
    file.
    Any help would be highly appreciated.Which policy file are you using? there might be more than one policy file.
    also, u have to specify the alias of the signed certificate in the policy file to grant the necessary priviledges to the signed applet.

  • Passing Parameters via Post Method from Webdynpro Java to a web application

    Hello Experts,
    I want to pass few parameters from a web dynpro application to an external web application.
    In order to achieve this, I am referring to the below thread:
    HTTP Post
    As mentioned in the thread, I am trying to create an additional Suspend Plug parameter (besides 'Url' of type String) with name 'postParams' and of type Map.
    But when I build my DC, I am getting the same error which most of the people in the thread have mentioned:
    Controller XXXCompInterfaceView [Suspend]: Outbound plug (of type 'Suspend') 'Suspend' may have at most two parameters: 'Url' of type 'string' and 'postParams' of type 'Map'.
    I am using SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Version: 7.01.00
    Kindly suggest if this is the NWDS version issue or is it something else that I am missing out.
    Also, if it is the NWDS version issue please let me know the NWDS version that I can use to avoid this error.
    Any other suggestion/alternative approach to pass the parameters via POST method from webdynpro java to an external web application apart from the one which is mentioned in the above thread is most welcome.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Anurag

    Hi,
    This is purely a java approach, even you can try this for your requirement.
    There are two types of http calls synchronous call or Asynchronous call. So you have to choose the way to pass parameters in post method based on the http call.
    if it is synchronous means, collect all the values from users/parameters using UI element eg: form and pass all the values via form to the next page is nothing but your web application url.
    If it is Asynchronous  means, write a http client in java and integrate the same with your custom code and you can find an option for sending parameters in post method.
    here you go and find the way to implement Asynchronous  scenario,

  • File Not found error when calling Form Post Method to a JSP from JSP Portlet

    I have built a set of JSP forms using post method to call other JSPs. Normally, the code looks like
    <form name="MyForm" action="MyJsp.jsp" method="post">
    I migrated the calling form containing this code to a portlet, but not the MyJsp.jsp. When I submit the form, I get a file not found in Jserv.log

    I notice that launching the calling jsp from a portlet, my opriginal context that uses ../Apache/Apache/htdocs is not being searched for the JSp. Why is this? Moreover, I try to set up an Alias in httpd.conf file to the this director and use it with the jsp in the action tag, but still get an error that my jsp servlets/Myjsp can't be found. Why is it insiting on looking at servlets context instead of htdocs.
    I have none of these issues outside of Portal30 using IAS.
    regard

    Initially, I couldn't do this unless I moved tghe jsp's up to the root directory of IAS, i.e ../Apache/Apache. Nomrally, htdocs is my doc directory for IAS. I could not do http:\\myUrl\htdocs\myJsp. If I tgried this, I got an error in Apache error logg that said can't find file ..\htdocs\htdocs\MyJsp.jsp.
    If I just tried the the URL http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp with Jsp file in htdocs, I would get an error in the Jserve log that file d:\oracle\isuites\apache\apache\MyJsp.jsp could not be found. Once I moved the file MyJsp to Apache/Apache directory, it could be found using http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp. Later, I delted these files and kept the ones in htdocs and they continued to work.
    I'm confused why launching pages through portal isn't consistant with Apache Standards. Where is the documentation that tells me how to configure context and aliases for pages launched from portal pages?

  • How to use the POST method In Oracle APEX 3.1

    Hi,
    In APEX if we are submitting the page the parameters( Variables ) will pass through URL.
    How to hide the these parameters from URL??
    I Hope POST method will solve this problem.
    How to use the POST method in APEX???
    Help me out to solve this problem.
    thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    Shan

    In APEX if we are submitting the page the parameters( Variables ) will pass through URL.No they won't. Submission POSTs the <tt>wwv_flow</tt> form.
    Sometimes a branch may be performed after submission, generating a URL in which parameter values are visible. To avoid this, use the save state before branching option.
    Other actions&mdash;like using navigation lists, or clicking a link in a report&mdash;will perform a GET using parameters in the URL. In these cases using Session State Protection is advised.
