Assembled new computer / w MSI 1950Pro - NO POST = No Power ??

Just assembled a new machine but I can´t get any picture to my monitor.
All seems to be ok, cables attached and checked everywhere, fans are spinning.
Specs:
C2Duo E4300
Abit IB9
Buffalo 1GB 800Mhz (D2U800CZ-1GMBJ)
MSI RX1950PRO
Barracuda 320GB Sata-II (not currently attached)

Antec smartpower 400W
+3,3V    30A
+5V       28A
+12V     14A
+12V     15A
Someone say that this is a power issue so I can hang myself with my mouse cord.
Edit.
Also tried S-video & Vga + DVI to my 32" LCD

Manatee,
Have you tried a different Vid Card or RAM to see if the comp boots? Also have you tried the Vid Card in another comp to see if you cannot duplicate the issue or not?
Take Care,
Richard
´lo!
No, haven´t tried a different setup yet.
My old comp has only AGP and low freq memory. And i´m a ronery student with no money
Just wondering if this was  a known issue...

  • New Computer with MSI 925XE Platinum(MSI-7053)

On Wednesday June 14th after a 10 month delay I picked up a custom built computer built by a fellow worker
it has an Intel 775 processor running at 3.0 GHz, 1 GB of Geil 533MHz memory, a 160GB & a 250GB Western Digital HD the 1st is IDE & the 2nd SATA, a Sony DVD-ROM & HP DVD 640i lightscribe optical drives both as RAID 0
& it has Azailia\AC'97 sound with Windows XP Professional OEM Edition
when I started it up I noticed it was as mute as Sheilds & Yarnell mimes that was hot during the mid '90's
also I also noticed that because of the 11 in 1 card readers I noticed that instead of the main drive being the usual C:\, it was configured as I:\ this drove my programs totally bazoo because the apps were looking for the traditional C:\ so at first I reinstalled XP figuring it would give you the option of reconfiguring the HD as a C:\ but when it was status quo I took out the Western Digital setup prgrams and reformatted totally wiping out the RAID as good as the bug spray its named after
    I have 2 questions
    a. how does one either revives the RAID?
    b. how can you reconfigure both drives as C:\ & D:, the opticals E:\ & F:\
and the card readers G:\ thru N:?
    c. how can you make the Azailia 7.1 sound chip work with my primitive(in comparisom) 2.1 set up?
I have absolutely no room in the room for all those speakers!
since this is my 1st custom built machine I'm a virgin like Madonna(the singer)!
any help would be truly appreciated by a person who's "Sgt Schultz" in this
    Thank You

"Houston we finally have a computer!" on Tuesday night after the revival of my new Screamin Meanie machine I finally figured out how to get it to sing. unlike my old HP Pavilion 7965 PC which has merely one jack there's at least 5 or 6 jacks to the Azalia and that's why I was throughly bazoo so I noticed the out to speaker jack so I decided to try it and that was the solution. granted there's still a few bugs that Raid(vs. RAID) didn't kill like the SM Bus driver couldn't be installed or the Wireless 54 g didn't work(that's because Philly didn't get to my part of the city with its well propagandized free internet program yet) or the fact that it's deep inside the room near the door, but I can live with it and the configuration the builder dealt my computer. at least until I have to give it an enema to resusitate it.
then I will do it my way according to your help.
Thank you very much. you guys have saved me from wasting 4 figures from a 2nd PC croaking prematurely like my 1st one a 1994 model Packard Bell Legend 1956 which sent me to he double hockey sticks when to eliminate it going on a monthly hissy fit I did an "Oscar Goldman" putting in around $1,700(this one cost $1,600) rebuilding it and then it died because I was trying to put in a tape backup program which wasn't compatible with the new parts and the master recovery CD's didn't work for the same reason.

  • Three beeps when booting new computer with MSI Z77A-G43 Mobo

I just built this pc and pressed the power button. Nothing happens for a few seconds and then I hear 3 beeps from the PC speaker. It powers off by itself and opens again, with 3 beeps again, and repeats this until i press the power button to close it down forcefully.
    Board: MSI Z77A-G43
Bios: I am not sure, but the box says Click BIOS II
VGA:   MSI 7850 Twin Frozr III
PSU:   Corsair Builder 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply
    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor LGA 1155
    MEM: Corsair
HDD: 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Black
    COOLER: CoolMaster Hyper 212 EVO
    OC: none

3 beeps is a memory failure!
try each stick in slot 2 individually as you may possibly have a bad stick?
if the first suggestion doesn't work remove the CPU and check the socket as you may have a bent pin in there causing the issue?

  • How do i sync my ipod to my new computer it tells me if i sync it will delete the songs and load playlist from computer what has no songs.

I found this post from a long time ago:
iTunes will only give you the option to copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads etc) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:
    iTunes & iPod software

    Comparison of iPod managers
A selection of iPod to iTunes utilities:
TuneJack Windows Only (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)

iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
TouchCopy Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide

The page Roger posted is good but was very confusing for me. I'll try to help you out since that article was confusing to me.
In iTunes, Click your name/email that is directly to the left of the search bar.
    Click account info.
Click this button where the mouse is:
(the screenshot is from an older iTunes on windows, but it is the same on the new versions)
    Done!
You can only use that button once per year, so try to remember to deauthorize computers before you get rid of them.
