AssemblerService Webservice quick start runtime error

Hello users,<br />I am new users. I want to use the assembler web service. <br />I built a C# client using visual studio by creating a client proxy from the assembler wsdl.<br /><br />I created a DDX file to match the quickstart example. I want to assemble one output pdf file from two input pdf files.<br /><br />When I run the client the proxy returns this SAXException:<br /><invalid element in com.adobe.livecycle.assembler.client.AssemblerOptionSpec><br /><br />This field is not set in the quickstart. However, it has to do with setting a value for default font. So I tried to give it an acceptable value, one of many value that I tried:<br /><br />"font: normal normal normal/normal 'Times New Roman'"<br />However, I'm getting the same SAXException. I'm using JBoss Turnkey system.<br /><br />Hope you can advise me on what the problem/solution  might be so that I can get beyond this stopping point. <br />Jesse

Fixed or mitigated by doing the following:
1. Originally I was using the wsdl for assembler service that is available in the directory under ../LiveCycle8/LiveCycle_ES_SDK/wsdl. So I switched and used the wsdl available from the running assembler service to create the proxy. That cleared up the problem as now I can use the service to merge several input pdf documents into one output pdf document.

  • Runtime Error After Installing Quick Time 7.2 Without Itunes Option

First I could not open my Itunes b/c I had an application error. So I uninstalled Quick Time and reinstalled Quick Time 7.2 (w/o Itunes). Now I have a "Runtime Error: This Application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact applications support team for more information." I noticed somebody else had this message but I don't know how to uninstall itunes and quick time and try and start all over. Any thoughts??

Okay. let's first try making sure you've removed iTunes and QuickTime completely, as per the following document:
Removing iTunes and QuickTime for Windows
Then once that has been completed, let's try another QuickTime standalone install. (Download and save the QuickTime installer to your desktop. We'll run the install from there rather than online.)
Quicktime 7.2.0 Installers … get the one that doesn’t mention iTunes
Does that install go through okay? if so, do you still get the error message when you try launching QuickTime?

  • Runtime error while testing BAPI using Webservice Navigator

    Hi all,
I created a webservice to a BAPI and tested in Webservice Navigator, while testing it is throwing the below error:
    Runtime Errors         SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
    Exception              CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLCRM_LINK_DU" - in
    "CRM_LINK_SAVE_DU".
The main program was "RSM13000 ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 15
    of the (Include) program "LCRM_LINK_DUU01".
The program "SAPLCRM_LINK_DU" was started in the update system.
The termination is caused because exception "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB" occurred in
procedure "CRM_LINK_SAVE_DU" "(FUNCTION)", but it was neither handled locally
    nor declared
in the RAISING clause of its signature.
The procedure is in program "SAPLCRM_LINK_DU "; its source code begins in line
    1 of the (Include program "LCRM_LINK_DUU01 ".

  • Runtime Error when starting Lightroom

I'm currently on day 12 or so of my trial with Lightroom. I've spent quite a few hours getting to know LR by retouching and cataloging over 8 years of photos. So far, aside from a few in-program bugs that I found a way to work around, I've been super-happy with it (especially the powerful keywording/metatagging system: amazing!) and have been really seriously coughing up the huge wad of $$ when the trial's done. But....
For no reason, LR started giving me a Runtime Error when I tried to start it. Something along the lines of "This application requested Runtime to terminate it unusually."
So off to Google I went, where I knew I could probably search that error and fix it like I've done with countless other programs. Unfortunately nothing is working.
    Here are the facts:
--I'm running a fully patched Vista machine.
--LR worked fine earlier this morning. I had 1.4 and didn't perform any upgrades or maintenance to it (that I know of) when it just gave me the error out of the blue today when I tried to start it.
--I tried holding CTRL when I start it, and it still gives the error.
--I tried deleting a .lock file (which did exist) but it still wouldn't start.
--I tried running the "repair" tool in the install...no good.
--I uninstalled LR, d/led it again, and re-installed it. IT WORKED!....one time. I was able to run it, checked to make sure my cataloging was still intact (it was - phew!) and even deleted a folder I didn't want in it. Then I closed it. I tried re-opening it a few hours later and I got the SAME ERROR!
I sure hope someone can help because I'm at my wit's end.

This is disgusting. I've pounded away for over 4 hours and I finally found a workaround. Here's the original post that had my answer:
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3c05ac2f
The short of the story: if I put lightroom.exe into Windows XP compatibility mode" it will work. (To do that, for anyone else who comes across this, you just right-click your lightroom icon, click PROPERTIES, and go to the Compatibility tab and check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)")
I've loaded it up half a dozen times and it's still working perfectly as far as I can tell. Hopefully it won't hurt anything keeping it in that mode.
I'm glad this happened early enough into my trial that I'll have ample opportunity to see if it repeats itself. I'm not keen on sinking $300 into software that will give me ulcers as I troubleshoot problems like this.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro crashes at start up: Runtime Error-please help

I have Adobe CS4 installed on my Windows 7 PC. In addition, I have Adobe Reader XI and InDesign 6 installed. If I remember correctly, after I installed Adobe Reader XI, I uninstalled the version of the Reader which came with CS4.
So here’s my problem: When I try to download a PDF that has been sent to me in an email or open one that already exists on my computer, this happens:
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C…
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
When I click OK, I get this:
Adobe Acrobat 9.0 has stopped working.
If I try to Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro from my start menu, the same thing happens.
This makes no sense to me because
I don’t have the knowledge to figure this out. I have no idea what Runtime is.
Prior to a computer meltdown a couple of months ago and a complete reinstallation of everything, these very same programs all worked just fine.
I don’t understand why, when I try to open an emailed PDF, they don’t automatically open in Adobe Reader XI rather than Adobe Acrobat. Isn’t the general idea that people be able to open and view sent PDFs which they have been sent, which is what the Reader is for, and not usually edit them, which is what Adobe Acrobat is for?
If, instead of trying to open the emailed PDFs, I save them to my computer, I can launch Adobe Reader XI and open them from within that program without any problem. That’s OK if I just need to view the PDF, but I need to be able to edit PDFs too, so I must get Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to work.
Would reinstalling Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro help? Is there a way to reinstall that program only from the installation disks or would have to reinstall CS4 entirely?
I cannot open Adobe Acrobat 9.0 at all, so any solutions which must be done with the program open are not possible.
I would really appreciate some help.

    SOLVED!
Resetting Internet Explorer didn't work, Reinstalling Acrobat 9.0 Pro didn't work, but changing a registry key did.
Here's where I found the solution:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error opening PDF files - Microsoft Community
Here is the relevant post, but before you try it, read my note below:
    Hi,
This is known issue with Acrobat for several versions now, Adobe's current fix is just to update their software: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404597.html
The problem is with the application data being misdirected.
"The affected user has a redirected Application Data folder and as a result the network path containing the Application Data uses a UNC path that begins with \\. This UNC path causes Acrobat 9.0 or Adobe Reader 9.0 to incorrectly parse the Application Data path and give the error message."
A potential Solution would be to go into the registry. Left Click type "regedit" and right click and run the program with "run as administrator". Go to Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders and make sure see where "AppData" is pointing. If it is pointing to "%UserProfile%/Application Data" change it to point to "%UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming".
BUT, be careful about one thing: This poster seems to have accidentally used forward slashes when he should have use back slashes. Look at the very last line of his post where he advises "If it is pointing to "%UserProfile%/Application Data" change it to point to "%UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming". You'll find, or at least I did, that this key has a back slash, not a forward slash, so changing what I found: "%UserProfile%\Application Data" to "%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming" worked and now Acrobat 9.0 works fine.

An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime Library incorrectly.
I have tried to have iTunes re-install but still get the error.

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

  • Lightroom 2 runtime error when trying to start up *URGENT ERROR*

I updated from 2.0 to 2.1 recently. Now everytime I try to start lightroom it will not, and i get a microsoft visual c++ runtime error and it immediately asks to close LR before it even opening.
I found 3 possible solutions on the adobe knowledge base. none of which work. Deleteing the preference files, deleting the preference folder, and trying to install LR under a different user account. I have Vista sp1 OS running on my computer. I have plenty of room and ram.
I even went as far as uninstalling LR and deleting all references to it in the registry. I just tried to reinstall 2.0 and open it with the same darned error. I am at my wits end as I have over 100 highschool kids composite protraits to churn out, and their adjustments are all stuck in a lightroom catalog that I can't open.
Any other solutions floating around about this that i haven't tried?????

Some more things in random order:
I think you're right about something deeper going on. The bad install for Flash sounds bad.
The C++ error sounds like it could be a missing file from something that didn't get installed right.
You might go buy yourself a new hard-drive, reinstall vista and see if you can get things to work, then, and either use that as your new boot drive or go back to the other one and try again.
Presumably ScanDisk doesn't show any problems?
You might disconnect all your USB drives and use just C and see if things work.
Do you have any permissions issues at all?
Look in event log and see if it says anything leading up to the C++ error.
Have you tried reseating the hard-drive cables and memory chips on your MB although usually these things would cause a blue-screen not a C++ error.
Remove any extra peripherals that you don't need.
Does the error you get indicate a recognizable GUI-related thing? If so perhaps changing the graphics-card acceleration or other settings could affect it.
After you system-restore back, are you then installing LR 2.1?
Why didn't it let you do a Restore and what did you do to finally get it to work?
This thread started pretty late at night, so the Adobe types are probably not reading things at this point and will have some ideas, tomorrow.

I get the following error when starting Encore and it automatically closes:
    C++ Runtime Error

I have the same problem and I saw that Troubleshoot C++ guide on the Adobe site too.
(I'm having the problem with Encore CS5.1 on a Windows 8.1 machine)
But, when I go to change the "preferences file" as directed -  I can't tell which file is the preferences file.
    can anyone help?
To re-create the product preferences file:
    Quit the Adobe application.
Rename the preferences file (for example, to [PrefFilename].old). Preferences files are often found in the \Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Adobe\[Product]\ folder.
