Assembly type in Req class

Hello,
Can someone please explain the use and application of 4 options of assembly type . What is the difference between static and dynamic processing.
Thanks in advance.
With regards,
Mrinal

Hi Mrinal,
Static & Dynamic processing is to address mainly te cost element for the sales order.
When you choose static, after the available check system will have one procurement reference number through out the execution of the sales order.
Whereas, with dynamic processing, after the available check there will be multiple procurement reference numbers available in the system towards the requirements.
So when you have alternate parts defined in the system, with the static processing option the costing will be carriedout only for one part that is assigned.
On the otherhand the dynamic process will give you more accurate costing as the reference is for multiple orders & also keeps track of the Goods receipts.

  • Assembly type prob in requirement class

    Hi experts,
Can anybody do help me on assembly type in requirement class. Our end user has created new req class along with assembly type "2". Now i am changing it to "0" but system threws error message like "Switching to assembly type 0 is not vallid" how to resolve this?
    your reply would greatly appreciated
    adv thanks
    anifi

    Hi,
I donot know the reason but this cannot be done even if you remove assignment in OVZH.
If you copied from a req class with assy type 2 or created a new req class with assy type 2 and saved it, it cannot be changed.
So you can better delete it and copy from a reqmt class with assembly type 0 and maintain all the settings that you required in your original reqmt class.
I will let you know if i come to know why this constraint has been defined.

    Ashok

  • Issue on deployment: Solution Deployment : Missing one or more of the following attributes from the root node in solution .wsp: assembly '', type ''

    Hi,
I have the following issue when deploying:
Solution Deployment : Missing one or more of the following attributes from the root node in solution .wsp: assembly '', type ''
The solution is a farm solution (was never sandbox) and it deploys fine.
It was updated several times with success. We did not see this issue until recently when we had some other issue (unrelated) and looked at the logs. The solution is updated without problem and updates are available for the user. But we can see this error
in the logs at the update time.
Any idea what might cause this?
    Pop Anisia

    Hi,
This error is wide meaning, as it can come from differences between SP versions, variables types used, bad manifest file, WebConfiguration ...
You can try to redeploy the solution.
retracted the solution, removed all the previous ref, removed dll from GAC and folder from 14\features and reset the iis, deploying it again.
Here are some similar issue post, you can use as a reference:

In additional, you can check the ULS log (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS) to get the detailed information.
    I hope this helpful.

I'm running Kodo 2.3.3. It seems I can only have one Map key types for all

  • Change material type and valuation class

    hi
my client want to change material type and valuation class in their production system. but the material no. and some transaction had done by this material. anything i need to concern? especially, in FI part. thank

Hey Changing of Material Type is one step
Changing of valuation class is other
and underneth that changing of account is another attached to the valuation class.
The basic requiremnt will be that client want to change the G/L code attached to the valuation class.
If you have already done some transaction it is not fininacialy right to move valuation classes.
Tell in detail what is the requiremnt.

I was asked this question in an interview.
I was unable to answer this question.I guess you know how to write a class?
Normal Inner Class,Static Inner Class,Method Local Inner Class and Anonymous Inner Class.A normal inner class is a class that is written inside another class. A static inner class is the same thing as the normal inner class except that it's declared to be static. A method local class is a class that is declared within a method and it's only known within that method. An anonymous class is where you create a subclass and instantiate it at the same time. The construction if often used in UI programming. E.g.
    public void addListeners() {
        button.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { //Anonymous class
            public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
    }Kaj

  • Sql type to Java class?

I want to write a utility class to generate a java source file (bean) from out of the metadata of a database table. the metadata returns the column type as a java.sql.Types constant (int value). now, i want to map these int values to Java classes. (e.g. Types.INT => java.lang.Integer). Is there already such a method in the API or do i have to write my own switch ... case Types.INT ... result = Integer.class ... method?

well, i wrote my own utility method to generate such beans:
         * Convert SQL type code to corresponding Java class.
         * @param sqlType One of java.sql.Types.xxx.
         * @return Class that corresponds to the given type.

  • Characteristics for class type 001 and class 59111 - Message Re-phrased

    Hi All,
Let me put in better words.
The requirement is to get the list of Characteristics that are associated with a particular Class type and Class that would be entered by the user in selection screen. I have used KLAH and KSML to establish the link and got the relevant characteristics list configured. It worked for me for most of the Class type and Class combination.
The issue is on particular class type 001 and class 59111, if I put a lookup in KSML, I don't get any records. But if we look in the configuration CL02 for the same Class type 001 and class 59111, I see a list of characteristics configured there.
Does anyone know how to fetch the characteristics on this particular case?
    Thanks
    Rajesh.

    Hi Sylendra,
Thanks for looking into it and replying with your thoughts.
What you have mentioned about the approach on getting the characteristcs from KLAH and KSML is exactly how I have written in my program. Ofcourse your second statement of going into AUSP to get the values for characteristics for an Object (eg: material number XXXX) is also correct.
But my issue is still on getting the relevant characteristics for the class tyoe 001 and class 59111. I need to display to user the relevant characteristics  that are configured for Class type 001 and class 59111. But when I go into KSML passing the internal class number and class type, I don't get any records. If you see, I am not searching characteristic values for an object, I am searching for characteristics itself.
The question would be, why records are not maintained in KSML for class 59111 (though they show in CL03) . or there are any other tables to read characteristics...
    Thanks
    Rajesh.

  • How to find the Class Type of a Class ?

    Hi,
Can anyone tell how can I find a Class Type of a Class?
e.g. I know the Class name as "Z_ABC" but do not know its Class Type, therefore, not able to display it in CL01.
    Regards,
    Lucky

    Hi,
Just by entering the Class name in CL02 does not display the data because system asks to enter the Class Type as well.
Rammohan - Thanks for thissolution however, when I executed after entering the Class Name, table displyed no entries found..... message but this class is being used in the PO Release Strategy. May be the data is being saved in some other table. Is there any other way to find this?
    Regards.

Every time I start up Firefox, I receive the following warning/message. Java Script Application. Type Error: Components.classes(cid) is undefined. How do I correct this?

Do you see a Last 7 days folder?
If not then older history has been deleted.<br />
Firefox 5 doesn't use a time limit to store history like previous Firefox 3 versions did.
