Assessment of New GL

Hi,
I am trying to run assessment cycle for new GL with transaction  code FAGLGA15. In assessment cycle master I have maintained sender rule as posted amount and receiver rule as fixed percentage.
Formal cycle check is successful. I have check all the settings are properly maintained. Data are available in the acount element/ cost element, but getting error as "No senders were found for cycle "
When I am changing the sender rule to Fixed rate leaving other setting as it is. Cycle run successfully and posting data.
Please provide solution if any one knows.
With Regards,
Tushar

Hello
pl check the sender values are existing or not because this type of error i have faced in my testing.
check sender values are relevant to the company code or controlling area in which u are going to do the transaction. If every thing is correct, check any validation or substituions or existing.
I hope it will be helpful to clarify your doubt.
Regards
Madhav

  • Cost center assessment in new GL and classic GL

    HI ALL
I want to double check one thing. When you run cost center assessments in classic GL, the system will make entries in GLPCT table for PCA with assessment cost element. But when you got migrated into NEW GL then system will not make any entry in FAGLFLEXT table with assessment cost element. These assesments have no effect on PCA module. If I want to reflect the effect of costcenter assesments in PCA in new GL , where can I check for that?....Is there anyway to acheive this without activating both classic and new gl PCA?
    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi,
If you have defined variant for real time integration and it has "Cross profit center" checked and this variant is assigned to company code, then FI-CO reconcilation posting will be posted in each of the profit center.
One can have a single account for all reconcilation posting or different FI-CO recon account can be used for each bussiness process / for each assessement cost element using substitution.
FI-CO reco account is visible in the FAGLFLEXT and hence can be displayed in report.
    Regards
    Chetan.

  • Checklist of things a new DBA should assess at new job...

    Hi,
I am currently studying Oracle and wish to become an Oracle DBA in the near future, hopefully. I haven't had the chance to actually be able to see a DBA in action in a real production environment, but I am very interested in Oracle and would love to see it all as a whole at a real company. I was told that sometimes it is easier to be able to create your own database than take over an existing database that may have been configured incorrectly.  I would like to know what are the most important parts that a DBA should check within an existing database at a new job.  Thanks in advance for your much appreciated advise!

    WizKid06 wrote:
So would that basically be the most important thing I should first, and then just start my own performance tuning, monitoring, disaster recovery planning, etc and worry about alerts as they come?  I tend to over-analyze at times lol
If you can't recover a database from backup, nothing else you can do really matters.  The very future and existence of your company could very well depend on it.  The Prime Directive of a DBA is to insure you have good, usable backups, and know how to use them in any conceivable data/database loss scenario.

  • Cost Center Assessment - cost element type 42

    Hi dear All,
I got issues running KSU5 to allocate planned costs under cost element type 42. we were expecting that all planned costs (primary and secondary(cost element type 42)) could be allocated by credit cost center (actual). only primary costs are being allocated.
    Scenario:
cost center planning (kp06) 1000 currencies in primary cost element in cost center A
running planning assessment - KSUB: cycle uses assessment cost element (type 42): sender cost center A, receiver cost center B (all planned values). assessment cyles posts 1000 currencies from CC A to cost center B
planning in cost center B (primary cost elements through kp06, 500 currencies) total planning 1000 from previous assessment  with CE type 42, and 500 from cc planning in a primari CE.
by the period end closing, tcode KSU5 (allocation actual) is running. new cycle created, based on planned values (origini not actual, but planned amounts).
we were expecting to allocate 1500 currencies from cost center B to cost center C (using 100% and through assessment cost element)).
result: credit actual cost center B = 500 currencies debit actual cost center C = 500 currencies.
1000 currencies pending on cost center B (planned).
do you know why SAP is not allocating the 1000? even if those 1000 were planned in cost center B by assessement, a new allocation cycle should be able to post them or not?
    thank you for your outcome.

Hi dear Ajay, thank you for your answer.
first, I understand the difference between KSUB and KSU5, in the defined scenario, we have both. planned values, become actual with the MEC activities. business definition.
regarding the cycle, I have setup assessment cost element so we can get all planned lines posted as 1.
On sender tab I have only the cost center. no cost element defined.
    receiver its cost center.
furthermore, i've not setup allocation structure, so all cost elements should be allow, there is no restriction on this.
the only difference is: planned costs which their origin is already an assessment are not being assessed again.
I can show you the print screens with cycles setup if it helps
    best regards

  • Conducting a Site Survey

Does anyone where I can find a site survey checklist for installing a network infrastructure?
I'm looking for something to document when assessing a new office location to setup a network for a small business.

I have jotted down a few of the important things that need to be considered for setting up a network infrastructure.
The following questions must be answered regarding installation site readiness:
    1. Are there any special site considerations (this can include using specific building entrances,
security check points, reception desks, etc)
    2. Are all the original console and auxiliary cables, interface adaptors and rack mounting hardware
    available if necessary?
    3. Where is the equipment physically being installed? In a rack or on a table?
    4. Is the necessary power available?
    5. Is the WAN circuit installed and connection ready for the installation (i.e. - CSU/DSU installed
    and configured, frame-relay active, etc.)?
    6. Is the LAN connection available and ready for installation?
    7. Is there an analog phone line within 50 feet of the installation location for dial up access?
    8. Are the cables you have received of the correct length and presentation for the LAN and WAN
    connectivity for your site?
    9. Have the relevant TELCO lines been installed and working?

  • Can you still access a CC trial version if you have previously trial another CC program?

I Teach InDesign at a college that has CS4 installed and, before CC, would suggest to students they download the InDesign trial to try the latest version. Some them have already downloaded trials of other CC programs. Is it possible for them still to access InDesign CC?

    GautamBahl wrote:
If they have not used Indesign CC trial for 30 days then they can use the trial version.
    Thanks
    Hi GautamBahl
Does that apply to Photoshop CC as well ?.
I downed the trial version (14.0 I think) last year.  At least two new versions (14.1.2 and 14.2.1) of Photoshop CC have been released since.  Obviously I have not used the trial in the last 30 day, is it permissible to download the trial again to assess the new feature that have been added ?.

  • Apply for a Job

    Hi
I am assessing the "new" version of Apply for a Job to see whether it will achieve the requirements of a customer who is not ready to pursue the iRecruitment.
When I apply for a job as an employee I uploaded a resume. Now, acting as the recruiter I want to be able to see that resume. I checked within the core app against the employee's application record and there was nothing visible. Can anyone tell me where this file is stored?
    Any ideas?

  • New GL Assessment Run Issue

We use New GL (ECC 6.0 EHP 3) and real time CO-FI integration/ posting have been activated. I ran Assessment Cycle for allocating primary CE data in sender cost center to secondary CE's in receiver cost centers. The program works fine. However I note that it creates new FI GL account postings. We do not want FI GL postings to be created for running assessment cycle. I went thru AC 210 training document which says that segment characteristics has to have zero balance according to customizing  'clearing line items are created' automatically to achieve a zero balance for each segment. Where do I get to see this customizing setting? Can any one please advise?  Or can any one advise any solution for running assessment cycle which should not create new FI GL postings.

To create a rule for this use t-code (KALK). Menu path Financial accounting - Financial accounting global settings - Ledger - Realtime integration of controlling with financial accounting - Define rules for selecting CO line items. Once your rule is created assign it to the real-time integration variant.
If you decided to use a badi instead, the name of the badi is FAGL_COFI_LNITEM_SEL.
Also, just to make sure this is clear, the settings associated with the real-time CO-FI intergration variant only effect postings that originate from CO (i.e assessments, distributions, overhead allocations, activity type allocations, etc).  I think you may be concerned that if you unclicked some of the checkboxes that this would impact document splitting.  It will not.  Any FI posting that requires a balanced amount per characteristic will still generate a clearing postings regardless of the settings here.  So you only need to create this rule or badi if you want some CO postings to create FI documents and others that don't (i.e. assessment no, activity allocations yes).
    thanks,

  • Use Assessment Cycles in New GL.

    Hello,
I have come across a strange thing in SAP.
I am creating assessment cycle in the New GL.
    1. I am trying to enter Account Number and Profit Centre.
My Sender Account Number ####### (please note that I am entering symbols and not the number) and Profit centre $$$$$$$ (please note that I am entering the symbols mentioned and not the exact profit centre which are created in system)
Now when i try to save this cycle it gets saved.
My question is, why SAP is not checking the master data in the assessment cycle? The cycle is getting saved with the master data which is not at all avaiable in the system.
    2. In the New GL Allocation, there is a field called assessment account similar to assessment cost element in CO. Do we need to created a separate assessment account in FI also as we do in CO?
    Appreciate your inputs.
    Regards,
    MG

    Hi
My question is, why SAP is not checking the master data in the assessment cycle? The cycle is getting saved with the master data which is not at all avaiable in the system.
Sol: Yes. Default system is behaving like this. System wont check whether master data exisit or not.
System wont check any master record like cost center, cost element, WBS etc

  • Ading new customised field in Assessment

    Hi,
I have created one customised field through transaction code OXK3. This field is for location. We used this field with the combination of cost center or profit center so that number of profit center & cost center is reduced as the same structure of cost & profit center is repeated 8-9 times for location purpose.
Now the question is when we do the allocation of common cost through assessment / distribution. This location field is not there.
So I will not be able to make use of this field & allocation will be incorrect.
Is there any way out for this. Can we add one field as sender & receiver in assessment cycle screen .
    Regards,
    Abhijit Joshi

    hi,
Can i know which development class it is used to create new field.

  • Run PCA Assessment Cycle under New GL

I'm on ECC6.0, and I'm trying to run PCA assessment cycle using FAGLGA15, I've created the PCA assessment cycle. But I got the warning message saying " no valid sender found", I checked table FAGLFLEXA, the sender profit center has values which I posted through FB50 , anybody has encountered the same issue?
    please advise.

    Hi,
In NewGL, all actual data is saved under version '1' by system design. You can see this in FAGLFLEXT-RVERS.

My ibook g4's screen goes black after the lid is closed. It will wake up normally after entering energy saving mode. When I lift the lid the screen flickers before it turns black. Is the kind of thing that happens when the reed switch needs replaced?

  • New features are great, but why not let us choose to not use them?

For example, would it be so difficult to allow us to turn off the wallpaper? Or per my other thread, how about making it so it doesn't show us every email account twice? Once is enough, no? Seriously, do Apple development teams not think about these
