Asset class doesn't appear in T.code AS01

Hi
I created Asset Class, and Screen layout with that asset class. But when I creat asset in T.code AS01, I click field "Asset Class", but that asset class doesn't appear. It notice following:
"Asset class 213200 cannot be used in company code HDQC
Message no. AA130
Diagnosis
When you create an asset, the system determines the chart of depreciation from the company code definition. In order for a chart of depreciation to be available for an asset class during asset maintenance, the chart of depreciation has to be entered for that asset class (Determine class valuation). Chart of depreciation HDQC that was determined is not entered for asset class 213200.
System Response
You cannot create any assets in your company code for this class.
Procedure
You can do one of the following:
Use another asset class, for which chart of depreciation HDQC is defined.
Maintain the asset class valuations for asset class 213200 in chart of depreciation HDQC. Chart of depreciation HDQC has to be specified in order for you to be able to maintain the valuation parameters of asset class 213200 for chart of depreciation HDQC"

I understood my problem. When I determine depreciation area in Asset Class. It notice error:
Contact your system administrator (table error)
Message no. AA826
Diagnosis
Depreciation area 41 has not been defined in the chart of depreciation HDQC.
Procedure
Define the depreciation area using in FI-AA Customizing.
Before I created depreciation area 41.After that I deleted depreciation area 41. So I can't determine depreciation area in Asset Class 213200
You can help me to fix that error.

Depreciation area set in Asset Class does not appear in asset master data

Depreciation area does not appear in the asset master data however it is set in the Asset class. If other asset is created in the same Asset class that depreciation area is automatically set in the asset master (it proofs that it is not a problem with Asset class).
I tried to set that deprecition area directly in the asset master data but all the fields are blocked for changing (is it possible to change that?).
What should I do as I need to post on that area ?

But what treatment should I give to that asset? Because now it is not being evaluated in that area but we need to do it.
The asset was created in the prior exercise (year).

Asset class blocked for posting error msg

I am receiving the following error "Account 10110000 US01 is blocked for posting". when i do ABZON .
10110 ia the asset class and US01 is the company code.

Go to FS00 and top right side of the screen you will find lock to lock/unlock. If you click you will find the following
1. Blocked for Creation
2. Blocked for Posting
3. Blocked for Planning
You untick the Blocked for Postind and try.

Adding asset class dependent master data

Hi Guru's
For making end users life easier I would like to add the insurance type and series (=/= Index series for replacement values on depr area data) on the asset class.
In the screen layout of the asset I already set the maintenance level on asset class, but I can not find the correct transaction to customize add the insurance type and series to the right asset class.
The transaction "ANK1 - Specify Chart-of-Dep.-Dependent Screen Layout/Acct Assignment" would work if I would have multiple chart of depr assigned to an asset class, but I have only one COD, so this is not working.
Can anybodt help me?

HI gurus..
I created one asset class but my asset class comes under different company code, i want chage my company code:
Ex: i careted one asset class it will comes under Company code: 0108, but that asset class i want change under Company code 0101. i configure all account determination, Screen layout, number rages.
i have 3 company codes, If i created one asset class..that asset class comes under which company code.. how the system will recongnise..and howto change.

Notice that asset classes are independent of the chart of depreciation and of the company code.
I guess what you need is proper configuration in transaction ANK1. This is the online documentation on this IMG step:
Generally, the control specifications (the screen layout and the account determination) for the asset class applies throughout the client, that is, for all charts of depreciation. It is therefore sufficient to make control specifications once per asset class.
You only need to carry out this step, if, contrary to the usual case, you want these control specifications to be country-specific (that is, different depending on the chart of depreciation). The system then uses the entries you make here depending on the chart of depreciation in the given company code. The system then ignores the control specifications in the asset class that are independent of the chart of depreciation.

In customizing I've to "Enter Your User Fields in Asset Class" (t.code S_ALR_87009007).
SAP doesn't allow me to change the filling in the view, I only can display them.
What cuold it depend on.

Hi Rossi,
This is not an authorisation issue at all.
S_ALR_87009007, this tcode can be used to maintain a default Eval Group for asset master creation with the specified asset class.
If your Maintainace Level at CLASS is not maintained for any evaluation group, you can edit the values over thers.
SPRO-> FA-> AA ->Master Data -> Screen Layout -> Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data -> Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data....here select your screen layout, which is assigned to your questioned asset class on OAOA and click on logical field groups -> Allocations -> Field Group rules.
Here for all eval groups, make the field status to optional and select check boxes CLASS, MNNO, SBNO and SAVE.
Now check with S_ALR_87009007, here you will be able to edit the inputs.

First set your COD with OAPL.
Then go to AM05 and deselect / unlock your questioned asset class and then try to create asset now.

Is there a way to export Asset Class to Class Code Validation? I would like to export this in excel file for my year-end analysis.
(It’s under SPRO: Financial Accounting > Asset Accounting > Master Data > Define Validation)

you can select the validations and print them. The printout previev can also be saved as a file. The format is not the best but it might help you.

The QT X v10.1 app installs in your "Applications folder and QT 7 v7.6.6 (whether keyed for "Pro" use or not) is installed in the "Applications/Utilities" folder. It is recommended you keep them in these locations so they will continue to update correctly/automatically.

you can restrict it through the user profiles. advise basis team to restrict based on the below 2 auth objects:-
A_S_ANLKL Asset Master Data Maint: Company Code/Asset Class
A_S_GSBER Asset Master Data Maintenance: Company Code/Business Area

Dear Harish,
You can block the asset through OAOA at asset class level blocking at Asset Class level, and same you can block for creation at a chart of depreciation level from AM05.
And for additional acquisition you can block from AS05. I hope this will solve your issue. If you have doubts feel free to share.

And just what sort of changes in "appearance" did you expect?
If you can access the editing, conversion, and/or properties options once a file is loaded then the QT 7 app has been upgreaded for "Pro" use.

Scaled image doesn't appear

Hi, can someone tell me why the scaling of the image does not work in the code below.
I making a board game application with these inherited JLabel components used to display each players piece on a background created using an inherited JPanel. The image is correctly displayed on the JPanel at the correct location.
The problem I'm encountering is that when I attempt to scale the image used the scaledInstance method it doesn't appear on the board but appears perfectly if I use the default image (comment out the scaled instance part of the line).
I've tried downscaling as well increasing size, in case the image is too large and putting absolute values in but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

GUI/swing application doesn't appear under W2K

Hi, all,
I wrote a Java GUI application with JDK1.4.1_01, when I run it on Win2K Professional (SP3) the
GUI doesn't appear without any exception.
But when I ran the same application under XP and Win98, the GUI application run ok and the GUI appears.
What is the problem?

First I thought you had several jre's installed and windows used the wrong one when you type java ...
Now I think it has to be someting wrong in your code.
Can you try someting that should work?
