can any one tell me a advise on my blw issue,
i have created a po with a/c assigmnet as Asset "A" and i gve the proper asset # in a/c assigmnbt tab.. when i do migo, i'm not getting any "FI accounting entries" pls advise why it's not generating...

Hi,
Check in PO under "Delivery: Tab, "GR Non-Valuated" indicator would be active.
Also check for Account Assignment Category "A" in OME9, "GR Non-Valuated" indicator would be active.
Remove it and then try a new cycle by creating new PO.

Saving the GOITEM-SGTEXT for MIGO doc. in MSEG Table

Hi Gurus,
I want to save the TEXT (GOITEM-SGTEXT) item for each line item in MIGO in the Table MSEG.
But being Material NON-VALUATED, there is no Accounting Document generated for this MIGO document. So after inserting TEXT & posting the MIGO doc, the MSEG-SGTEXT is not updated.
Is there any possibilty of saving the text without any accounting doc generation.

Hi,
you should make PO field mandatory for Mov type 541 screen layout settings in Txn OMJJ.
Normally, it is suppressed.
You can create 541 with reference to a PO but Referencing functionality is only a data entry aid and it does not save PO number in MSEG table.

What happened to the ability to preview an Adobe doc in tile view in the folders?

I download a lot of PDF files for crafting and don't print them out until a time when I'm ready to do the project. I've got tons in my folder. I used to be able to see what the project was in the folder using the tile view but no longer. Now it only shows the Adobe Acrobat icon. I can't even preview it using the preview frame. I would like Adobe to go back to showing the preview so I don't have to go through and open and close evey single doc just to see what it is!
Is it clear what I'm asking?
64-bit, yes....why do people keep asking that? My computer is 4 1/2 years old so 64 bit has been out a LONGGGGG time and is pretty prevalent these days.

This works if you can put up with a command prompt (minimised)...
Use the System Exec.vi from Connectivity->Libraries & Execuables. Use 'cmd /c "<path to file>"' as the command line. (It should run with 'start' but for some reason LabVIEW throws a memory error if you try that!?!?!)
Unfortunately this kicks off a command prompt window which i'm not sure how to hide (but can minimise it with the run mimimised input), but at least it also kicks off Acrobat (or whatever) to launch your pdf file.

Facing a Problem
Iam trying to create view(database view)for vbak and vbap and given in Tables in Table/Join Conditions tab and clicked in Relationship and the relantionship has been generated automatically,now when i tried to activate this view its saying like "No tables and/or fields are defined for view xxxxx(xxxx-> name of a view)
what will be the problem?pl let me know how to create a view?
And also I need to know the diffference between database view,Manintenance view,Projection view and help view?

How to view Word DOC using Word Viewer

I am a new administrator for a SharePoint 2010 farm with 10s of GB of Microsoft Word documents, most of which are in Word 97-2003 DOC format. I have recently configured the Word Viewing service and can of course view Word 2010 documents saved
to the farm, but how to get the legacy archive of DOCs viewable using Word Viewing as well?
From all that I have read, OWA only works for Office 2010 documents. Is there any tweak available to get it to be able to view older formatted Word documents also in the browser?
Baring this, are there batch conversion utilities available? I have searched and found some
here and here, but am seeking more robust solutions.
I would be interested in learning about what other administrators have done to resolve similar problems.

Hi Steve,
I understand that the error occurred when you open the word files.
I recommend to delete the cache files for the corresponding web aaplication using PowerShell.
Go to Central Administration > Application Management > View all site collections > select the web application and then check for site collection with URL /sites/Office_Viewing_Service_Cache and make sure it is there. Then open http://{webapp url}/sites/Office_Viewing_Service_Cache
and you will see the cached
files of this web application.
You can also add the entry below in web.config to see if the issue still occurs:

I also recommend to check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS.

Exit/ BADI for MIGO Doc No Range

Hi All,
When I am doing MIGO, then I want that after posting, a particular document no should be genrated which is wrt particular PO Number range.
For example, One PO No range is from, lets say, 1000 to 1999, then Doc no generated is, lets say 100 to 199,
and if PO no range is 2000 to 2999 then Doc no generated should be from 200 to 299.
So is there any BADI or user exit for the same or is there any other way of doing the same.
Please guide me.

Path is: SPRO->Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Number Range.

When MIGO Doc posting Excise Invoice BED,AED,SED,ECS,CESS Not displayed

dear Gurus ,
i have one problem when i and posting the document through MIGO T-code the doc is posted but these values is not appearing in the screen
Click on bottom of Excise invoice then put data on each of the fields for ex :- BED
AED
NCCD
SED
ECS
Then this data will be print on top window of the Excise invoice column .
BED   0.00                SED    0.00             SECess 0.00
AED   0.00                ECS    0.00
NCCD 0.00              CESS   0.00
but this data is not displayed in the screen but doc is posted successfully .
we are upgrading the system for 4.7 to ECC 6.0 after that this problem comes kindly send me the solution or is there any configuration wise changes or some support package or note is applying kindly send me the details and feedback

In my opinion you have not maintained the Excise details.
Maintain
Chapter ID
Material & Chater ID Combination
Assesable Value
Cenvat Determination
Vendor Excise Details ( Check the Excise Indicator) as 1
because of not maintaining these Excise details, values are not caluclated in the Purchase Order.
Due to this reason while doing Goods receipt, system is not getting the Excise Values.

There will not be any Accounting document during GR with PO acct assignment "A", this is atd SAP behaviour, (provided u have not tweked with std SAP settings for acct assignment "A")
system will generate A/C documents only during Invoice verification (MIRO) as

Opening PDF docs in 75% view

I'm trying to figure out how to use Acrobat.com to create a PDF document that opens in a 75% "view." Right now, when I create an PDF and email it as an attachment, the document opens in 177% view...which is not very please to the eye. Thanks.

I don't believe there is a way to change this unless you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat. Rather than sending it as an attachment, have you tried using Acrobat.com's share feature? You could also email a link to an open access version...

When I print my indesign doc, it prints/views as two pages per sheet rather than one....

Where can I go to change this setting?
I just want to see one page in my view and print one page per sheet on regular letter size paper.

MIGO Doc. Mov 105 doc. not saved terminated by system

We are facing problem in service entry ML81N and MIGO Mov. 105 . System provide document number but terminate it and it does not save in MSEG or any other table. Please see the below screen shot.
Please guide how we can remove this error.

Doc Library List View Row Checkbox Unable to Select or Check

I have code behind that adds webparts to a page. An example of the code is show below.

Problem:
The issue we are having is only with document libraries. When we try to select the document library in the list view by selecting the checkbox, the item appears to be checked, but when you move the cursor away from the row, the checkbox is no longer selected.
This issue is found in Firefox and IE. I'm getting a js error in the core.js file's CountSelectedItems(a) function, shown below.

The js error is "Unable to get property 'CurrentSelectedItems' of undefined or null reference". So I read this as the object a being null.

I've tried the ListViewWebPart as well, but that didn't work for me either. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

We experienced the exact same issue and resolved it by using the code below.
In short are we trimming the ParameterBinding from White spaces before adding the webpart. After adding the webpart we update an unimportant property and save back the changes. The strange thing is that this code used to work previously before we added the
"fixup". With this solution you can keep the Group by clause in the CAML Query.
