At the time of the asset master creastion i have faced in this problem.
Customizing inconsistency - missing/incorrect entry in table T093B
Message no. AY159
Diagnosis
There is a Customizing inconsistency.
Chart of depreciation 1000 contains the real depreciation area 30.
In table T093B, the entry for company code 1001 and depreciation area 30 is missing or incorrect.
System Response
The transaction cannot be processed.
Procedure
Contact your system administrator.
Using transaction SE16, check table T093B for company code 1001 and depreciation area 30. See whether
1. there is no entry for them, or
2. there is an entry, in which the field ABGJA has the value '0000.'
In the second case, you can try to remove the assignment of company code 1001 / depreciation area 30, and then enter it again.

Financial Accounting>Asset Accounting>Valuation>Amount Specifications (Company Code/Depreciation Area)>Specify Memo Value.

Asset problem: Folder is missing or contains no images.

Hello,
I have created a DPS project using InDesign CS5.5 -- the project is almost completed and everything has been working fine. I needed to update a bit of text and when I attempted to update the folio the update failed giving me a missing asset message. I looked in the links panel and it showed no missing assets. In this particlular file there is an audio .mp3 with a simple play and pause control that I had specified in the Audio/Video pane of the Overlay Creator. This has been working flawlessly. Now it is giving me an error message. None of my assets have been moved. But just to be sure I browsed to the folder where these assets have been stored (Audio_Controller/play.png Audio_Controller/pause.png) and indeed they are still there. Yet I continue to get the Yellow triangle with an ! in it and the following message: "The folder is either missing or contains no images. Resolve by selecting a folder containing supported assets."
I moved them into the images folder and relinked thinking that might solve the problem but had the same results. Does anyone have any ideas?
I've done a lot of looking and haven't seen this problem mentioned before.

I want to add that the "play" and "pause" controllers have been saved as .png as per DPS audio instructions. This is an DPS project that has been working consistently with the EXACT same assets in the EXACT same places. I made a small text page to one folio page. I did not move anything.

If you can't access BIOS with the hard disk connected, you certainly won't be able to boot to the usb recovery flashdrive. That is indicative of a failed hard disk.
Install a new hard disk and then boot to the recovery flashdrive.

Encore library assets problem: layers panel

Hi, I had a big hassle figuring out how to download my library assets. I finally got them all, but I've discovered my layers panel is not showing anything at all. Is anyone else having this problem? Got a solution?
I'm jumping through so many hoops I feel like I'm doing taxes. Except the tax guys will actually help me and talk to me on the phone.

Well I turned the computer off, started it up again opened the file...and it's showing up! Woo hoo.

Import Assets problem

Could not import one file.
Incompatible Format
The message above is the message I get when I import a movie file made in Adobe Premier (apple) and re-coded to H 264 @1280 X 720 QT. The QT inspector information is identical to other files with the same inspector information (made the same way). FYI-I have no problem importing movie files right out of Premier.
Have tried everything I can think of - still no import.
Please jumpin if you please.

Dang, I thought I had mentioned that it is DVD Pro Studio 3. I did finally figure out my problem. I grabed the mpeg2 file that produced by using QT High D and that would go in amongst the Quicktime movies, much to my amazment. So, what is the "Other Pro Video"? I don't need to visit this site very much, all has way changed, but had I mentioned I was talking about a Mac product, I'm sure that would have made things clearer. I knew it wasn't for Adobe Premirer, but yea, I'm still using it.

Importing assets problem

When i go to import a video into dvdsp the audio shows up but the video doesn't. What is the problem? Thanks for the help.

Thanks, that's a good idea, although I've tried that already too. It works, but the files are much bigger, requiring a blue laser disc to fit everything on. I'm trying to fit this particular file on a red laser, and if I could fix this problem then it would! Whenever I try to pull the video file from compressor (it actually produces a .mov) from the finder window into the asset manager, it will only import the audio, and when I try to pull it directly into the track, it gives the following message;
Import Error!
One or more files failed to import. Common reasons for this are that they do not match the current project's video standard (it can't be this, surely, as I've tried both standards!) or their file format is not supported (it could be this, but if so, I dunno where I've gone wrong or how to fix it!).
Does this help anyone to help me?

Relinking asset problem

Updated comment to below: I was able to save after linking all of the asset/images to the slide shows by moving the assets to appropriate folder. However, the slideshow/lightbox images still do not export correctly to html and remain "blank". Does anyone know what the problem might be? Thank you.
I am not able to save/save as after linking assets - I am forced to quit and lose the changes. I believe this influences the ability to export to html properly if I export site while in an "unsaved" state? Which I have done then I have uploaded everything to my server (Lunar Pages) yet the lightbox slide shows I have used since Muse' inception will not work anymore. Granted they have been revised making the overall site much larger . . .

I just opened above page in DW to view code re: slideshow - I am noticing "blank" throughout? Yes when I preview on my desktop all is fine - and all the images are on the server.

ASSET problem in the Purchase Order

Hi Guys,
I have a trouble with creating the purchase order.
In my purchase order I have selected Account Assignment Category as 'Asset-A' and system prompting me to enter ASSET in the item details tab for Account assignment.
So how to create the Assest and these are my new Organization data(Created all new).
Please give me clear idea and step by step procedure.

Asset Problems

1.Is there any standard report available in Asset for settled internal orders.
We can able to see in S_ALR_87013019. But all Internal orders are appearing. I am not able to see settled or Completed orders. How to identify those... (Like flag color difference should be required for settled and open). Apart this is there any other T.code available
2.When we executed the above report some of the Internal orders are not coming in S_ALR_87013019. But we can able to see those orders in KOH2. I have to identify the budget/actual/Commitment amounts. Why those orders are not coming here.
3. How to delete the assets. Through AS06 we can do it but system is not
allowing. Becaz already I calculated 2 months depreciation.
4. How to check the list of assets for a particular period.

Hi David,
If the asset has been posted, it will not allow to change account determination.
It will be better to create new asset. Since this is related to FI, better if you will post in FI segment not controlling.

Fixed Asset import - Life Parameter

Hi All.
I'm attempting to import legacy fixed assets. In the log file I am getting a Life Parameter error.
Can you please check my logic and / or correct me.
End of Financial Year is 30/06/09 (2009-06-01) . Useful life = 48 months. Depreciation start date = 2009-07-01
I am attempting to upload a remaining life of 47 months
Capitalisation date = 2009-06-01
Depreciation Start Date = 2009-07-01
Remaining Life = 47
Have I got this right? Anyone have any ideas on what could be the issue?

Hi,
The import functionality is mainly designed to import legacy data , meaning that user wants to have start of fiscal year values of a fixed assets with capitalisation-start depreciation date in a year earlier than fiscal year of the import
In your scenario, the Fiscal year of start depreciation is 2009 and you want to import values at start fiscal year of 2009, logically this
means that start depreciation date is not earlier than first day of fiscal year 2009, so the reamining useful life must be equal to total useful life.
For acquisitions in current fiscal year I would recommend to use the module 'adquisition' rather than import
I stronlgly recommend to visit in SAP Channel portal, Business One, SELF-HELP & LIBRARY, Financial Add-ons: There, under root cause , there is one item dedicated to Fixed assets problems and in particular to import processes.

Asset planned values computed positive value Issue

I have an existing asset problem where the planned depreciation values becomes positive. Why does it becomes positive? How does system calculates this planned values? We just did some adjustment to the Asset by Credit Memo and another Mark-up transaction. Sample:

I believe in your case, the tremendous reduction in APC cost has caused a tremendous change in planned depreciation. System looks at the NBV and the remaining periods of useful life each time it calcs depreciation. Of course also looks at depreciation key, Period Control, and OAYR Smoothing button. Asset class can also be set for group depreciation.
If a credit memo reduced the APC value dramatically, then the amount of depreciation on the asset at that moment is more than enough so far. This means that the next running of the AFAB program will reduce its amount of depreciation from the amount it was planning to book since it already has an excess of accumulated depreciation.
Please check in OAYR to know if your Smoothing indicator has been checked for the Company Code. As I understand the system, if this indicator is checked - the system will not catch-up the whole difference in the next running of AFAB. Instead, it will smooth out the adjustments due to credit memos, unplanned depreciation, and changes in remaining useful life over the remaining life of the asset. When smoothing is set, one gets less drastic period to period change.
This setting should be in line with your accounting rules, such as in US GAAP changes in depreciable life are considered estimate changes requiring only prospective corrections, and so should smooth out impact over remaining periods of useful life versus immediate catch-up.
You may want to run a AFAR (check for recalc flags) and then a Repeat AFAB in the current period after making master data changes for depreciation. All open periods would be impacted by master data changes if you run AFAB.

Partial retirement in fixed assets

Hi,
we are having one strange fixed asset problem.. today we have processed all the fixed assets transactions from january to may
2000.. we did a partial retirement of an asset in dec 2001.. like we had 4 units of it and we retired 1 becaz it was stolen..
the transaction worked in december everywhere (like in fixed assets, general ledger)..now in 2002 this transaction is there
in fixed assets but not showing in General ledger so our fixed asset is not matching with general ledger.. so can someone
suggest that where we did the mistake??? any help will be highly appreciated..please let me know if i'm not clear enough
becaz i'm new to oracle finance...

Tried Most Everything... Error Type of file not supported... codec not installed

Hi Friends: I have been battling with the error message of ... "Type of file not support or codec not installed." I have been throughout the forums searching for answers and attempting various suggestions. I am stumped and am reaching out for some wisdom and help.
1.)    System Gateway – T-6859u, Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2Ghz, 4 Gig ram, Problem has existed on both Vista and upgraded Windows 7. I have used Premiere since Premier 5 (Full version not elements) including versions 6 and PRO. I have Elements on my laptop for convenience.
2.)    Assets- Problem exists with all AVI files. This includes files that worked previously but will no longer be recognized. I have used Elements since version 7 was new. It is only the last 4 months this has been and issue. These are AVIs that previously working in Elements 7 from Panasonic DV camera and other DV sources.
3.)    Problem first appeared when Windows Update installed security patch KB975560. Once the Security patch installed Premiere quit running AVIs. When the patch was removed Premiere worked again. However, windows update continued to reload the patch. The patch has now been removed and prevented from reloading. However, the problem now persists.
4.)    Other attempted repairs. Reloading Premiere Elements 7, Upgrading to Windows 7, Removing and reinstalling K-Lite Codec packs inc standard and 64bit. Loading LEADTOOLS. None has repaired the problem All the AVI files playback fine in other programs including Windows Movie Maker, Media Player Classic, WM player etc.
I'm not sure what to do next. I have been a dedicated Premiere user for so many years, I don't want to switch to another program. Any suggestions friends?

Welcome to the forum.
What version of Apple's QT Player do you have installed?
PrE relies on this much more than its big-brother, PrPro, until CS5.
From my experience, QT 7.5.5 was my "last known good," and some problems have been reported with the 7.6.2 and 7.6.3 versions. 7.6.6 is out, and works well for many Adobe users.
I would investigate updating QT Player.
Also, FFDShow, an element in K-Lite has been death to PrPro for many people. Just having it installed brings PrPro to its knees.
Though Adobe hides its CODEC's pretty well, K-Lite has been known to shift the priority of the Adobe MainConcept CODEC's. While it does not overwrite them, or delete them, it sets up some of its CODEC's to take priority. There are some older threads on Registry editing and utilities to reset the priority of the Adobe MainConcept CODEC's. Seems that Robert Johnson participated in those discussions and may have furnished the link to at least one utility.
Those are all the thoughts that I have now, and none might be of use.

Muse CC 2014 crashes at 70 percent ftp-upload - how can I fix it?

Since the new edition of Muse is up I can't upload my website - are there any solutions for this problem?

Actually i had same problem.. well i did not upload my own ftp server because i did not finish all desing, editing etc.
I had the same problem as after uploading FTP server (which i am using a free service, found by google) i can't see some of my links. Like i have social media icons of facebook, twitter and google+ on header but all the links directing to facebook.com but i changed link for each icon several time.
and Maurya, i also thought export site as html to a local folder and then upload to FP server but this time i lost some more! Again i'll give an example through social media icons; i used a background on icon so there are the layers which are one is as background image and second one is icon of social media provider. After export site, this time links directions worked very well but i lost social media icon on background image.
I think that's probably "missing assets" problem so keep research on fixing missing assets but if anyone has another opinion will be very nice =)

Why doesn't Muse menu display properly in Business Catalyst?

My web site is complete and ready to upload, but the menu will not display properly in Business Catalyst. Have tried multiple times and ways to place the menu and nothing seems to work. I even clear the cache before uploading. I have even tried complete upload as opposed to just the modified files. Nothing works!!! There are no warnings or asset problems. I have even tried putting the menu on a separate layer. I should mention, the menu displays perfectly in "Preview". I should also note that a highly modified menu on the Home page works perfectly! The menu that does not work is on a "Master Page." PLEASE HELP!!!
