Dear all,
I am facing problem at 1 client place here at few assets they have posted wrong asset class instead of 1 asset class (posted into another asset class)
my doubt is what we have to do we have to settle or we have to transfer..
which one is advisable..
ABIU or ABUMN.
which one is advisable..

Hi Consultants
i am struggling asset settlement reversal. I have settled asset AUC to another AUC with different asset classes. Now i want to reverse asset settlement reversal. While I am going AB08 and when I select my transaction it leads to be AIST screen and after execution it leads to another window where all the transaction of assets are there except the one which I want to reverse also reversal documents are not generating. The document i want to reverse is with ATT 346.

First make sure T-code -AIST is active on your system and you have the authorization

Settle all cost of those WBS elements to one fix asset using CJIC.
Reverse all AUC postings, transfer all cost to single WBS using KB11N & then settle to one AUC.

Thanks for your reply, Klaus. I'm just now getting to try your suggestion to copy and paste from timeline rather than drag and drop from clipviewer. Alas, it seems to be choking terribly on the transfer. This video is not a 60 minute movie, either; it's about ten minutes. I has about 60 files to it. I did get to the point where I felt confident enough to empty the trash and save the project, so I assume the clips that are there are not still "attached" to the unedited dvs.
Earlier I tried to export, in the advanced settings, to the full quality dv, but the quality really dropped, way too much for the intended use. I'm pretty much stumped at this point, unless I can hear some other suggestions.
What I might try doing is simply dragging and dropping all the packet contents of the media folder into the other movie's media folder, but then I suspect I'll have to rebuild the darn thing from bits and pieces and it may be like putting Humpty Dumpty back together again...ugh.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to face this challenge, am I? Of course, my lesson learned is to build one dvd's contents in one imovie project. If it weren't for the fact that I need to offer viewers the option to "play movie" (play all the videos as one movie) I'd simply drag each movie into iDVD and do it that way (the dvd showing each video separately).
Would still love to hear of other possible solutions here, before trying some other forum.

sounds like you broke the display when you dropped it. There's nothing we users here can do for you.
Since the iPhone warranty does not cover accidental damage, you will have to pay to have your phone repaired or replaced. You can bring it into Apple for an out of warranty exchange in the country of purchase, or you can find a 3rd party iPhone repair store in your area.

Can I know which t-code I should use to transfer asset group from 1 asset group to another.

Try with the Asset group transfer in transaction
AR01 - Generate generate the list first & excute in the transaction
AR31 - Edit excute here.
Here Multiple asset to one asset is possible.
In Asset case transfer is possible with folowing scenario
ABUMN - Transfer within Company Code
One to one transaction
AR31-- Many to one.
if you want many to one means then it will be done in ABUMN only by excuting number of times.

We can do mass transfer with in company code by selection option "Multiple assets" in menu(T.code - ABUMN).

Problem in Asset Settlement Reversal

Hi,
I have settlement of around 40 assets out of 2 have some problem. They posted in GL account but not shown in asset account and give document no.
Then I want to reverse that asset settlement doc. With t-code: AIST. But its display error message:u201D Acquisition value negative in area 01u201D
Message no. AA617
Please let me know how I can solve it.

Please let us know, how the asset was settled to GL account by-passing the asset module.
Basically, what I could understand is that there is no asset value in asset module.
When you are trying to reverse the settlement, since there is no value in the asset, system will not allow you to post it, since it would result in negative balance in asset..

Asset balance transfer is showing blank in AW01N

Hi,
One user created asset under wrong asset class and one month depreciation was posted of that wrong asset. in the month of september. Now user has created new asset under proper asset class and made balance transfer from wrong asset to newly created asset through ABUMN in month of October i.e, period 7. In ABUMN we have transfered to New Asset field. After successful balance transfer old asset become deactivated and balance has come to new asset but through AW01N I cannot see the balance which is showing blank under planned value, posted values. Even new asset's first acquisition on date and Acquistion Year is showing as blank.
How it can be rectified ?

during balance transfer through ABUMN I used old asset number in Asset Field, Document date, posting date, asset value date and under Transfer to tab I put new asset number in New Asset Field - Mster data - Asset Class - Company Code/Asst Number and made tick on subnumber and simulated finally. Accounting document generated properly. Even through FS10N I can see GL balance also against this asset number. But if I go through AS02 or AS03 or AW01N it is showing as blank. No values are showing. I think I made mistake in ABUMN, instead of putting value under Existing Asset field I wrongly used New asset. As a result I cannot see the date under "First Acquisition on" and ""Acquisition Year". What should I do ? Should I cancel the asset again and create new asset and transfer again or any other procedure . Becasue if First Acquisition on date and Acquisition Year appear in asset master against this new asset, automatically value will in Aw01n.

Since the cancellation data of all STRs and PRs is kept in Change document. Therefore, you should run Transaction S_ALR_87101238 with object class BANF and at the report output, set the filter on the Field name ''LOEKZ''.
