Asset will not capitalize at advance posting

Dear All,
Our requirement is asset entry will not post at advance posting. I have checked earlier discussions on this issue and done the configuration accordingly i.e. suppress the asset fields & change the message as warning. After the changes I have created a down payment request by F-47 with reference to capital PO. Later I have made advance payment through F-58. Here system is allowing the asset postings. If I have directly posted the advance through F-48, it is posting without assets.
Please have a look onto the issue.

Go to SPRO --> Financial Accounting (New) --> General Ledger Accounting (New) --> Business Transaction --> Document splitting --> Classify G/L Accounts for Document Splitting
You wil find the GL account is assigned to category 7000
then following setting needs to be done,
SPRO --> Financial Accounting (New) --> General Ledger Accounting (New) --> Business Transaction --> Document splitting --> Classify Document Types for Document Splitting.
Assign document type KZ to transaction 1000 & variant 0001

Hello All,
I am looking for some assistance on an issue that I am having with trying to retire an asset using transaction ABAVN. The message that we are receiving is u201CAsset 10 ###########-0 will not be deactivated, it has a net book valueu201D. This was working correctly until we did a whole Company asset revaluation.
Now, for our revaluation, we created Depreciation Area 99 which is where we are housing the asset values prior to the revaluation (history). We also created a new Depreciation key as per the SAP document u201COne-Time Revaluation Measureu201D.
From what I can tell, the error is coming from Depreciation area 99 which is what we want to leave alone. We want the retirement to leave the History alone.
I am new to this area, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
We are on ECC 604 Level 24

is the message right (asset will not be deactivated, it has a net book value?
It is not possible to deactivate a asset with net book value.

Orphaned asset will not delete, hangs client

I"m in the process of figuring out FCS. I have a situation where I was doing a trial with importing FCP Projects to see if assets duplicated (sometimes they do. Trying to figure out why). Anyway, I tried to delete a project asset before it had finished uploading/transcoding/whatever. FCS Gave me an error but deleted the master assets that had been imported as part of the project import (also deleted these from the device). However, the project asset did not delete and has a box with a red diagonal line where the "checked out" icon usually is and whenever I try to double click, checkout, or anything else with this particular asset, the client hangs and I have to force quit. The project file that is the primary representation is still on the device.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of the problem project asset?

Ok. I managed to get access to the asset by restarting the final cut server in System Prefs. But I still can't delete it. I keep getting the message that it is locked and I can't find a way to unlock it.

Embedded asset will not load from aliased domain

I have a flash movie with an embedded flash movie that uses the get_URL to load an externally linked movie. The file works fine if coming from the root domain, but we also have three different domains virtually hosted to the same web root and the embedded movies will not load if accessed from those other domains. Current external URLs are absolute and not relative, still no loading:

Ok, since I am stuck I did a complete DE-install/Re-Install of all Flash Players and Flash Builder. Clean slate. Thats not it.
As I have multiple web sites and bounce between Mac and Windows, it can be challenging to keep track. I had been using the Firefox FireFTP Addon to move files around as it was convenient. This was the problem. Simple answer is FireFTP was doing something wacky (?) to the SWF files when going from Windows to the Linux hosts. Using the builtin Microsoft Network Places FTP client or the excellent Transmit 4 on Mac OS X both resulted in working SWF files from my web sites.
Final Answer: the FTP client messed up the SWF file. Gotta watch that!

External .f4v assets will not play (online only)

I have 5 external .f4v files – 1 is audio only that plays upon launch and loops in the background.
The other 4 are short trailers that are set property sources.
All 5 .f4v files execute perfectly in run preview and as well as with an AIR app. but they don't work within the online deployment.
Online, the player shrinks in size (up & left) and contains no content.

Can you check to see if you can load the files in a web browser with a standard http request?
When I checked:
http://www.bloodydvds.com/assets/media/BloodyDVDs_Ambience.f4v and
http://www.bloodydvds.com/assets/media/Bloosuckers.f4v, the files could not be found.
This is as opposed to:
http://www.bloodydvds.com/assets/media/Drag_01.mp3 and the rest of your mp3 files.
If this is the case, then you may need to talk to your hosting service about why the f4v files are not being properly served.

Asset is not getting reversed when posting credit memo

Dear Sapians,
My client is having an asset with a value of Rs 6,00,000/- and the asset capitalized date is 19.07.2007. Now the client wants to raise a creidt memo on 19.07.2007 for Rs 5,00,000/- for which he dont wants to calculate depreciation with the transaction type 105 (credit memo in invoice year) in t.code F-90.
But the system is giving the following error.
Balance for transaction type group 10 negative for the area 01.
so can anyone plz revert back me on the issue.

Hi:
Go to Asset Master As02, clcik on the tab Depreciation areas
double click on Depreciation area (Ex:Book Depreciation area)
you will come to the screen Change Asset:Depreciation area Book depreciation .
In Additional specifications, you will find a check box Neg.values allowed.Select on the check box and try again.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Updated video asset will not update on track

Most frustrating is DVDSP4 says that the video file has been changed and after answering yes, it shows me black thumbnails on the track and black drop zones in the template.
I have deleted the Par folder, re-imported the asset and most of the time I get no change.
Once in a while all of a sudden in other files it corrects and Im good to go but, frustrating that this doesnt work better.
Can someone tell me line by line what is the sure thing to correct a updated .m2v file of a DVDSP project to show up correctly in my track?
Please, I need good help asap.

Files will not open HELP , I posted this 4 days ago and no replies

Hi so my adobe illustrator just updated to CC 18.1 and i went to open a file that I created 2 months ago and i get a pop up window that says illustration can not be opened. this in a new place of employment for me so i have been trying to figure out how the prior person had thing configured ect . Also this is my first time with the CC( use to use CS6) but there are 2 versions of illustrator on the Mac book pro and if i use the older version which is still cc the file opens . Can anyone please shed some light on this for me

The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.

That is typically indicative of either a hard drive corruption or a hardware failure. What happens if you just let the Mac sit forever? Does it boot to a folder icon?
How old is your iMac? You may be able to run Hardware Diagnostics by booting up holding down the "D" key as well.

System will not boot or POST

I have a Pavilion A8 Vision that will not boot or complete POST and does not communicate in any way. Fans are on, sounds from drives seems like beginning of POST. I have removed and replaced RAM with other piece - no change. When RAM is out of motherboard system will report 5 long beeps and repeat the beeps for 4 to 5 times. I tunes store will not recognise my channel islands (jersey) post-code

I cannot download anything now because itunes will not accept my Jersey post-code. There must be others in the channel islands who have had this problem. Apple say it's because itunes "isn't available in this country". It has worked in the past but not now.

The iTunes Store has never officially been available to the Channel Islands, since the content owners do not consider the Channel Islands to be part of the UK for the purposes of copyrights, royalty payments, etc. If it worked before it was by error. If it's not working now, Apple's apparently fixed the problem that allowed you entry previously, and there's nothing anyone here can do or suggest.
