Assets by tagging one asset in one code.

Hi Friends,
My Client want to control assets by tagging one asset in one code.
But now there're a lot of similar assets have same code in SAP.
So now, we want to split those assets into different codes and values.
Please help to guide us the most suitable way
Your quick reply is highly appreciated in this matter.
Thank you very much
Naveen.

Hi Naveen,
If I understood well a Inventory number is what you want.
You can specify an inventory number for the asset in this field.
The inventory number is output in the standard inventory list for
Asset Accounting (Information System).  In addition, it can be
printed in the form of a barcode label.
Are you using enhancement AISA0001 ?
Should it be so, you have to make sure in include ZXAISU02 that  a value is assigned to field E_INVNR.
If you do not assign a value to E_INVNR the system thinks that you want to set the inventory field to initial and thus overwrites the standard value entered in the asset master transaction.
If you do not want to change the inventory number for some assets  although you need the customer exit for other assets, assign the  e_invnr = i_anla-invnr.

  • Mass sale of asset using t code.abaon.

    Hi All
Mass sale of asset using t code.abaon
*After there is a difference between area 63 Asset history sheet and the Account balance list which wasn't their prior to this sale. The difference is between summarizing all of the dep. columns and comparing that to the Accumulate Dep. in the same sheet.
Now The EVL assets are Finland specific. They are used to post gaine/loss for sales and scrap in tax area, so they are effected by the sale.
    Awaiting for solution

    hi
is there any table or program to clear the difference.
    plesde let me know

    Hi mafiose15,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
    How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
    Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
You can find the instructions in this article:

    Hello, GwladysPa.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I believe that the iTunes update is requesting your computer's administrator password to update the application.  Here is the article that explains this process.

  • I can't Enter User Fields in Asset Class (t.code S_ALR_87009007)

    Hi All,
In customizing I've to "Enter Your User Fields in Asset Class" (t.code S_ALR_87009007).
SAP doesn't allow me to change the filling in the view, I only can display them.
    What cuold it depend on.
    Thanks for your help.
    G.

    Hi Rossi,
This is not an authorisation issue at all.
S_ALR_87009007, this tcode can be used to maintain a default Eval Group for asset master creation with the specified asset class.
If your Maintainace Level at CLASS is not maintained for any evaluation group, you can edit the values over thers.
SPRO-> FA-> AA ->Master Data -> Screen Layout -> Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data -> Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data....here select your screen layout, which is assigned to your questioned asset class on OAOA and click on logical field groups -> Allocations -> Field Group rules.
Here for all eval groups, make the field status to optional and select check boxes CLASS, MNNO, SBNO and SAVE.
Now check with S_ALR_87009007, here you will be able to edit the inputs.
Hope this will resolve your issue.

  • Asset Acconting T-Codes

Can anyone please let me know the t-codes used by business users in Asset Accounting module

    Hi,
First Find out who is handling Asset Accounting in the company.what is his role. Only dialy basis what is he doing in asset accounting. Based on that given him the access to Asset Accounting T.Codes.
In an company, Users may be many. What transaction codes should be given will depend on the role and responsibilites of that particular user.
You have to take into consideration regarding the daily  business requirment, i.e the user will do on dialy basis on asset accounting.
SAP Easy Access menu T.codes will be given to the users. As a standard pratice configuration T.codes are not given to users.
Also give access of Asset Information Reporting based upon thier roles and responsibilites.

  • Can someone explain why one code works and the other one doesn't?

    Hi,
I have been doing a little work with XML today and I wrote the following code which did not function properly. In short, it was as if there were elements in the NodeList that disappeared after the initial call to NodeList.getElementsByTagName("span"); The code completely drops through the for loop when I make a call to getTextContent, even though it is not a controlling variable and it does not throw an exception! I'm befuddled. The second portion of code works. For what it is worth, tidy is the HTML cleaner that's been ported to java (JTidy) and parseDOM(InputStream, OutputStream) is supposed to return a Document, which it does! So why I have to call a DocumentBuilderFactory and then get a DocumentBuilder is beyond me. If I don't call Node.getTextContent() the list is processed properly and calls to toString() indicate that the class nodes are in the list! Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you Dr but the following is true:
I placed this code in the for loop before I posted the question :
    for (int i = 0; i < numSpanTags; i++) { // Loop falls through here!
          System.out.println("Span tag (" + i + ") = " + spanTags.item(i));
}And I receive 29 (The correct number) of non-null references to objects (Node objects) in the NodeList.
When I replace the exact same for loop with this code :
    for (int i = 0; i < numSpanTags; i++) { // Loop falls through here!
          System.out.println("Span tag (" + i + ") = " + spanTags.item(i).getTextContent());
}Nothing prints. This discussion has never been about "clever means to suppress exceptions" it has been precisely about why a loop that has the
exact same references, exact same indices prints one time and doesn't print the other and does not throw an exception. If you can answer
that question then I am interested. I am not interested in pursuing avenues that are incorrect, not understood and most importantly shot from the hip without much thought.

  • Assets Stock t code

    Dear Expert,
Can you tell me t.code where I can see the stock of assets which is not capitalized till dated
    abhishek

in simple you can get the list of assets from table ANLA itslef.
Go to SE16, then enter the table name ANLA, and then in the selection screen enter the company code, and enter 00.00.0000 in capitalisation date field and execute it. so now you will get all the assets, for those no capitalisation has been posted so far.
you can view this info as when and when required instantly thru SE16. In case if you want periodically, then ask you ABAPer to write a small Zprogr to select those assets as per the above said logic, then the report itself should trigger an email to microsoft outlook / sap inbox.

  • Problem (manually) tagging document:  Tagging one text area tags all text in document

I've been having some trouble getting a inDesign document to tag properly in InDesign CS5.
The document has several different blocks of text, and I can see that they are each separate in the layer panel, and that they are not locked or grouped.
Yet, when I try tagging the document, it is treated as though all the text is in one element and the entire text of the document is tagged together.
The only element that seems to be able to be tagged separately is some text in the header, but it is not relevant for the XML I plan to export.
Any tips on getting this to work? I suspect the original file might have been created in a different version of InDesign, maybe that has some affect?

It sounds like you applied a tag to a portion of text in the flow of threaded frames, and all of the text within the threaded frames is now applied the story tag. This is normal and if you need to, you can create additional tags and apply within the story.

  • Multiple profit centers under one code

    Hi Team,
When we have more than one profit centers created under same code, the system gives "+" for the name and when we double click on the name1, it displays all the profit centers.
Incase I want the name and details of the profit center as on today, how do we get it?
    Please refer this text at
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/eb/13811243c411d1896f0000e8322d00/frameset.htm
for better understanding and it reads-
*If a field within the validity period or an analysis period contains several values, the system displays a u201C+u201D in that field. You can drill down to the values for the different intervals by choosing  or by double-clicking on the corresponding field.*
*The hierarchy area is always time-independent. It applies for the entire validity period and cannot therefore be changed for individual analysis periods.*
Hope somebody has a solution for this...
    Thanks
    Raghu

    Hi,
I assume you are referring to a profit centre with several analysis periods. You can see the field values for the relevant analysis period by selecting the analysis period via u201Cset analysis periodu201D icon (F8) in KE53.
When viewing the profit centre for the complete validity period, the u201C+u201D sign for fields with different values for different analysis periods cannot be prevented as there is no possibility to display multiple field values.

Well I guess we are casualties of several million people trying to do the same thing at the same time. I bet if we wait a while (like a day or so) things should get more normal. After all this roll out is projecting to be the biggest one of all. We can be lucky that we even got our phones. My buddy order an hour after me and he is not even for a email saying it shipped. He's bummed big time. I am going to bed and I'll try in the morning.

  • You cannot post to asset in company code 0001 fiscal year 2009

    Hello,
I am receving subject mentioned  error when I am posting asset to fixed asset. Please advise me  to rectify the same. I tried AJRW but couldn't succeed.
    Regards,
    Prashant

    HI
Is your company code - 0001? since generally it is standard SAP company code and system would give such error untill you will execute any of the asset report or transaction with your correct chart of dep and company code, like AS02, if you will try to display any of the asset with your company code , then next time it will allow you to do the transactions.
Further if your company code is 0001 and error is related to your company code only , then please run AJAB for the year 2008 (since you want to post in 2009) in test run and in foreground, it will give you error log , if anything is preventing year close.
Complete the tasks of the year 2008 and close it , open the new year 2009 by AJRW.
Also check the FI period if you are acquiring assets from MM then also check MMPV, all should be open for your desired posting date.
    Cheers

  • Asset Retirement - Tax Code specification [F-92]

In transaction F-92 Asset retirement with Customer, the system generates automatically the line for the "Gain account " defined in Asset Class: Assign G/L Accounts (AO90).
How can we specify a Tax code to be used for this Gain/Loss account? By defining this in G/L master does not work.
    For example
Lin PK  BAre G/L Account TaxCode
    001 01  0107 20192756               [Customer]
    002 50  0107 7200900000   50
    003 75  0107 1304020700
    004 70  0107 1399040207
    005 40  0107 7200900000
    006 50  0107 8103030000
In the above example the 8103030000 represents the GAIN account. This line is automatically generated by SAP F-92 transaction. How can we instruct the system to use TaxCode 50 ?
    Thanks for any hint

    hi,
try it with creating a substitution with transaction OBBH.
    if bseg-hkont = '7200900000' and sy-tcode = 'F-92'.
