Assets going from green to yellow to red

I get the message
"has changed. Clip, slide or menu durations or marker positions may have been affected. The Encode Log lists where the asset is used."
But I didn't do anything. Spotlight wasn't indexing, I don't have TimeMachine... Nothing has changed to the files and they keep disappearing in the DVD SP4.
Can anyone help with this or is it just app bugs at work?
I'm really starting to hate Apple for creating such unreliable apps with all kinds of weird problems. I know I wouldn't have these kind of problems on Windows, but, than again, they dont have these apps.

Let me see if I got this straight. There is no way I can directly export iMovie file/project to MPEG-2?
Ok. Let me break it down for myself, and you can tell me if I'm doing anything wrong.
*STEP 0*
Since Im in Europe, I will go with PAL 720x576 16:9. I go to Share > *Export using QuickTime*.

Than when I get the file from iMovie I need to use calculator. Well, there is a little problem I will have couple of files that need to be separate, not just one. So how do I apply calculator to them? Because, as I see it. This calculator is for one file, or more precise a time length of the video in question.

I haven't really used Compressor so I am wondering where can I find the MPEG-2 setting for it?
*STEP 4*
Since I didn't understood the start of the last sentence I will guess.
I need to export AUDIO in the file as Dolby Digital AC3, not as AIFF. Ok. Check.
So its best to hold the bit-rate between 6 and 8.5 kbps?
Is there any tool/converter that will convert my .MOV or .M4V files to MPEG-2?

Plug in Seagate USB drive and status goes from green to yellow

This is somewhat different from what others have posted.
When I plug in or turn on my Seagate 160 gig drive on the base station USB, the status light switches to yellow and no more wireless. The disk works when direct connected to the iMac. Epson printer works fine in the base station USB.
Anybody have these symptoms?

It is formatted FAT32 and works fine on my PC (I recently jumped ship to Mac) and connected to the iMac.
I don't understand your final comment. Once the disk goes 'ready', the wireless is down and I can no longer access the base station. If I turn the Seagate off, the light goes green again in about 5 seconds.
To anticipate: no, I have not yet attempted to 'talk' to the base via hard wired ethernet. That is, I have not seen any error text.

When does a mountet network drive goes from green to red in colour due to low disk space?

I have a number of network shares on MS 2008 R2 servers, that my users have mountet on their Win7 PC's.
What is the limit for when a mountet network drive goes from green to red on the users PC, due to
low disk space.
My guess is below 10% but I can not
find any confirmation of this

Turn computer on, goes to green, flashes yellow, back to green and no scree

So I turn the computer on, the power button goes to green, flashes yellow, back to green and all the while the screen is not turning on. This just happened all of a sudden after no unusual circumstances. Help please! I've been looking for similar topics without much luck. And I'm not very computer savvy so I'm afraid to try replacing the PVM or whatever it's called. iMac G3 with I believe Mac OS 10.2

ODI10g - How to Change ODI Instance colour from Green to Yellow (Warning) on business error

We have requirement where we have to change ODI instace colur from green to yellow( we have to show warning) if any records move into error table. Is it possible to change ODI instance from Green sign to Yellow? If yes, how?
We are using ODI10g.

In 11g if the session populated error records in E$ tables then the session status is changed to warning (Yellow icon).
Not sure of 10g though. If I remember correctly it used to pick the last task's status. You can check that otherwise it is not directly possible unless directly tweak with ODI repository tables.

Color 1.5 - tracking suddenly goes from green to red - not working

On our first job in 1.5 I have about twenty shots with tracking information. At a certain point in the grade the most of the menu items became grayed out. I restarted the computer - it fixed that issue, but then all the trackers went from green to red. Which means unprocessed in the manuel.
I had to redo them. Then it happened again. Exactly the same thing.
Is this a known bug?
How can I stop this happening? Never happened in V1.

This is my own project and as you may have guessed I'm my own worst client. I'm working on a multi-cam registration of a theatre performance by my girlfriend. She toured three years with this show which I've recorded and edited. It's autobiographical, quite good and I thought it would be a shame if it wouldn't be documented properly. I'll probably never ever have the budget to cover for the time I've put into this project. I'd like to be proven wrong here. I used to do a lot of music shows, either the editing, dvd authoring or the motion graphics, usually just one of these.
After the edit I tried to enhance the video with Magic Bullet Looks. The vignettes I got with Looks however were static and felt unnatural. As far as I know you cannot keyframe them and if you can one probably enters renderhell. So I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to dive into Color. After Robbie Carman's training on lynda + the 1.5 upgrade I could also do multi-clips, just send to color from FCP… just what the doctor ordered, great!
The semi tight vignettes really do pay off in this case since there wasn't a follow spot in the show. I found that a well placed (animated) vignette makes her face more expressive, more into focus' and really helps to tell the story. I do use non animated large soft edged vignettes whenever I can. Still an 1,5 hours edit takes a long time to work through. Now that I've done it I wonder whether the tracker would have made the workflow faster since I found that I needed 3 to 4 keys, 8 key max for medium length shots. That's usually just in the close and semi wide shots where she would move a lot. I just got frustrated cause that the damned thing doesn't work. And that I've wasted a day or to in trying to get it to work.
As to Shake, Apple always was transparent that is wasn't going anywhere. I just cannot believe that all that potential is not recycled. I can't see it end up in motion, at least I hope not. I mentioned the 3d package and I've noticed that those users are very vocal about what they want, to al the things that suck and are missing. I guess they they get served. I'd be perfectly happy to pay more for the FCP upgrade. If it's worth it. I really don't see apple abandoning the pro line of audio and video app's. It's the haute couture that inspires the pert a porter. Same with cars, racing drives development.
I'd like to think that they've stalled development to make use of all that new stuff they put into snow leopard. But looking at my cpu stats while rendering doesn't make me to happy there either. The spellcheck in snow leopard works wonders though.

Is anyone else having troubles with the power adaptors going from green charge light to amber?

I have had to replace my power adaptor once before as there appeared to be a broken wire inside ..the replacement had been working fine but just recently noticed the light changing from green to amber within seconds of being connected

The light changes from green to amber whenever the System Management controller determines that the battery needs charging. The light is green, indicating a fully-charged battery, until it is determined that the battery is less than 94% charged. That determination can take a few seconds after the adapter is connected. If the charge level is found to be below 94%, charging begins, and the light turns orange (amber) to indicate that charging is taking place. None of this signifies a problem of any kind.

you are under warranty, so I suggest you make an appointment with a genius at the Apple Store and have them look at it. Sometimes the charger plug is faulty.

Start up and stuck with the flashing color (red green blue yellow...)

I just bought Macbook pro(My first time with Mac product) today, and when i unbox the MBP it was have a good start everything is ok, than I test the DVD drive to make sure it work or not, than i put the VCD to it. it was stuck (with the flashing color). than i dont'know what to do. I press the shutdown button around 10s the pc is shutdown...I open it again and eject the VCD, than I was stuck with flashing color (red green blue yellow...) i have try to restart many time buy pressing the button but still the same. than i keep it away for about 1hour than I open it again It was WORKING AGAIN the same as I first started, than I restart, but the same problem happen again (flashing color (red green blue yellow...).
1. I have tried to boot from DVD that come with the MBP holding C but nothing happen
2. I have tried to reset PRAM (Command-Option-P-R) not work
So what wrong with that?
Could anyone help me to fix this out?

CCMS: switch direct from green to red

we are running NW2004s and I have a problem with CCMS.
I'm monitoring an OS process with MTE_Class Cl_ConfProcessCount and want to get GREEN if the process is running once and switch to RED if the process is not running. But whatever I do in the properties it only shows YELLOW if the process is not running. How do I have to configure the class properties?

Hi Annu,
just to add to what others have said,
lets take a scenario...where delta have failed..u need to do a repeat delta..in such cases..u need to make the failed request to red from green and delete the request. This will let the infopack know that the last delta is incorrect and when you request for repeat delta...the infopack will fetch the previous records + the present records.

I can see if we can get your phone back on! I understand how important it is to have a phone. Have you tried this to see if we can get it back on? http://vz.to/1DZhteH . If it is still goes to a red Verizon screen and then to black we might need to do a master reset. I just jazzed up my 2 Ghz iMac with 10.6.8, and 4 gigs of memory. I'm VERY happy with the results (fast!), but now I have a thin yellow line way over on the right side of the screen, which goes from top to bottom. This is really strange! Any input?

However, the really strange thing is this - there is now a thin yellow line, way over on the right side of the screen, which goes from top to bottom, and stays there no matter where I go or what I do. I've never seen anything like this! It was not there before I did the upgrades. Anyone out there ever heard of such a preposterous thing ~ or have any ideas on how to get rid of it?

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.
