Assets purchase from PO

I want information about Assets purchase through PO and what is configuration need for assets purchase from PO. What is configuration required in MM.
Thanks in Advance
Nagireddy

Hi,
First you have to decide whether GR-valuated or GR non-valuted.
For my company.. Fixed asset is not maintained in material master. All of fixed asset have to selected indicator GR-non valuated option.. but my production goods as slider part, disk are maintained its material no. which set unticked GR-non value. It is depend on our business.
If it is GR-valuated.. u have to define automatic posting via t-code OBYC for transaction type "WRX" which is used for GR/IR clearing account
before create PO.. u have to create new asset via t-code as01 then create PO via ME21 or ME21N with PO type : "AP" and Account assignment category : "A".
Hope this help.
Regards.

  • Unable to derive funds center in F-90 Asset purchase from vendor

    Dear All,
I have maintained the fund center value in the asset master and also maintained the derviation rule in FMDERIVER for a combination of Cost Center > Funds Center.
When i try to post asset purchase using F-90 t-code, it is asking me for funds center in the asset line item. The system is not deriving the value from asset master or derivation rule maintained. I am unable to maintain the funds center in the posting as the field is grayed out.
Request you to kindly provide your valuable suggestion.
    Best regards

    Hello,
The fund center has to be activated for Account Assignment Type 01 (APC Value Posting)
Maybe note 437076 could help to check the settings in the following IMG activity :
Activate the account assignment elements for each transaction and
       account assignment type:
Asset Accounting -> Integration with the General Ledger ->
Additional Account Assignment Objects -> Define Account
Assignment Types for Account Assignment Objects
    I hope it helps,

  • Assets purchased from other company

    hi gurus,
    we have a situation here...
my company buys used assets which are already depreciated for a certain amount of time and has some remaining life on the assets. as far as I know we cannot post the APC and depreciation directly to an asset. How can we handle this in our SAP sytem ?
    Thanks,
    GB

Asset master has been created using post capitalisation tick / check on through AS01 T Code.
However, i have a question on asset transaction post capitalisation through ABNAN t code.
Where do i enter both gross cost and accumulated depreciation of an asset acquired from an external vendor?
What transaction type do i enter / assign under additional details tab?
Is it compulsory to assign offsetting account number here when it is a purchase from a vendor?
    Thanks.

  • Asset transfer from an affiliated company with depreciation

Hello - Can you tell me how I can translate the following business scenario in SAP ?
    1) An asset is purchased from an affiliated company. This company is represented as an inter-company vendor in our company code.
    2) The initial value of the asset in affiliated company is 100 EUR. And it is depreciated with an amount of 30 EUR in the affiliated company.
    3) In our books we would like to show the depreciation in the legacy system and continue depreciating the asset with NBV 70 EUR.

  • Asset purchase procedure

    Dear All,
In asset purchase is maintaining Material master compulsory ?
If yes which material type we will maintain .This material is excisable .Kindly give the complete procedure for asset purchase .
    Regards

    hi
for asset procurement with material code and without material master record creation of PO can be done only you should have an asset number for the same during creation of Po in ME21N with acc assg category A you can achive the same.
You can create an material type from an existing one in OMS2 and name it as per your logic goes say ZAST, dont check the quantity update indicator there..
then create material master for the same in MM01
There after create the asset number AS01
Then PO ME21N with acc assg cat "A"

  • Asset purchase through mm

    Hai friends,
can any one tel me asset purchase throug mm, how we link for automatic posting , and what are the entries
will arise and please give me clear explanation regarding this.
    Thanks & regards
    Amar

    hi,
in OME9 only you have make  those fields as mandatory fields.
There is nothing to do with OBYC settings for asset related Purchase orders.
By giving account assignment category A, system will automatically takes the Asset's APC GL account automatically from the AO90 settings. Since the user cant be able to change the GL account number in this field, hence it is a greyed out field.
Note: all you need an asset master number before creating the PO for it, and once you enter account assignment category as A , system will defenitely ask for asset number.
You can create asset master directly from asset PO also, but that is a diff concept, need to config a bit.
If your problem solved with any of our replies try to close the thread at solved problem option within that reply
    Thanks,

  • IMPOSSIBILITY TO IDENTIFY THE INPUT TAX ON ASSET PURCHASE FOR TAX RETURN

We have only one input tax account 44560000 for all types of purchase. Monthly tax returns require a deduction between the input tax on asset purchase and input tax on another purchase.
We are asking if the input tax on asset purchase (on internal order) must be posted in an account separately.

    Dear kmgomes ,
Ideally system should not ask any transaction type for tax line. Please check which posting key is it using in simulation mode. Have you provided the transaction type (e.g. 100) when selecting posting key 70?
You can alos check transaction OBYD where G/L account posting from asset posting must be set up with posting key 40 and 50.
I understand you must be missing or trying to post incorrectly something in F-90, shall suggest to review the input in the transaction once again and check.
    Hope this helps!!!

  • Asset purchase & capitalization process

    Hi SAP GURUS,
    I have a scenario, As i purchased a Machinary and that machine has three different parts i.e A   & B &  C.
A is purchased for Different vendor & B purchased from Different vendor & C purchased from Different vendor .
How can map this scenaro in SAP,and how is can be capitalized.
    need your valuable inputs.
    regards,
    Santosh kumar

If you are going to depreciate the machine right away you can setup an asset record for the machine then post the three invoices to the asset record and you are good. If you are going to prepare the machine first you can create an AuC asset class asset record with depreciation key with no depreciations. Then you post all the invoices to the AuC asset record and whenever you need the asset to depreciate you transfer the AuC to the ready machine asset record. Now, if you need more functionality you can use PO to manage the procurement as well but not required. You can also involve investment measures like internal orders or WBS element or even investment management (this is not required either but additional functionality available in CO and IM).
So, capitalization is done by account coding the invoices to the asset master record and will happen during invoice entry.

  • CD's not purchased from iTunes but uploaded to iTunes do not show up in the music folder on Apple TV!  How can I fix this?

CD's purchased from iTunes but uploaded to iTunes do not show up in the music folder on my Apple TV!  How do I fix this?

You would need to make sure you're accessing the Computers icon. If you are under the Music icon, that will be accessing the cloud and only show iTunes purchases (unless you subscribe to iTunes Match)

  • Can Apple Id fingerprints be set up to recognise different family members, but only allow one to purchase from the app store?

Wondering if using the Apple ID finger print on the ipad, is there a way to set it up so that parents can set their fingers to be the only ones able to purchase from app store and itunes, but still able to recognise the kids fingerprints to turn on the ipad and play with apps?

Not currently a function of iOS. However, you could set a restriction on purchases
using a separate passcode in Restrictions. No one could make a purchase without
that passcode. But you cannot tie the Restrictions to a single fingerprint or subset
of fingerprints. Any fingerprint that is registered to open the iPad gives full access to
all non-restriced apps/functions on the iPad.

  • Can i transfer purchases from one account to another?

My son has an iCloud account for his iPod Touch that he has purchased many apps and songs on.  His school has assigned new iPads (that us parents have to buy out of pocket) and he was assigned to create a new iCloud account for that iPad that he will use and buy his own apps on for the rest of his public education and probably further.  therefore, the current iCloud account will not get used.  Is there a way to transfer the purchases from his old iCloud account to his new iCloud account and delete the old account?  If not, he may have wasted up to $100 in App purchases that can't be transferred.
    thanks.

    Hey imattster!
If you are speaking of merging your Apple IDs so that the purchases are under a singular account, this question is addressed in the Apple ID FAQ which can be found here:
I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
If you are wondering how using multiple Apple IDs relate to iCloud, see Apple IDs and iCloud.

However, I have an article for you that can help you use your new iCloud account for personal data while continuing to use your old Apple ID/iCloud account for your purchased items so that you do not have to worry about not being able to utilize any previously purchased apps:
Using one Apple ID for iCloud and a different Apple ID for Store Purchases
You can use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Store purchases and still get all of the benefits of iCloud. Just follow these steps:
    iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
When you first set up your device with iOS 5 or later, enter the Apple ID you want to use with iCloud. If you skipped the setup assistant, sign in to Settings > iCloud and enter the Apple ID you’d like to use with iCloud.
In Settings > iTunes and App Stores, sign in with the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match). You may need to sign out first to change the Apple ID.

  • Can I transfer purchases from one account to the other?

    Hi,
I have 2 apple account, and I used both account to buy stuffs from apple online store. Now I want to use one account, but when I need to upgrade items purchased by the other account, I have to switch to that account, which is very inconvenient.
I want transfer all purchased account to one account, is it possible?
    Regards,
    David Shen

I have just bought a new pc and downloaded itunes onto it, i have logged into my itunes account and purchased a few new tracks which downloaded fine but it will not find my previous purchases from istore. They show in my history in the store but when I click on purchased i can't get itunes to upload the previous purchases. I know there is a limit on how many computers you can download these too but I only have them on one other one.
    Any ideas?

  • I have mistakenly opened up a new iTunes account. Can I transfer purchases from one account to the other?

I have recently bought a new iPad mini and tried to set it up and share with my old iTunes account.
I thought I was changing email addresses for contact info, but was actually setting up a new iTunes account and paid for the £21 a year sharing service.
I have a few (not many) tunes purchased on my old iTunes account.
Is there a way of merging/closing my old account and transferring purchases across to the new iTunes account?
I could swap between the two, but doing that on the phone/ipad will mean I cannot swap back for 90 days!!!!!
    Thanks

Did you ever get around to transfer purchases from your old iPhone to iTunes in your computer.  If you did, your ringtone will be there and all you need to do is sync it back to your new iPhone.
Ringtones can only be downloaded once from the iTunes Store that is why the user guides recommend that you transfer purchases from the iPhone to the computer.
If you never synced your old iPhone to iTunes, then you need to do that now so that you can get your ringtone on your new iPhone.

  • Is there a way to transfer music I've purchased from my old Apple account to my new one?

    Hi everyone,
Many moons ago, when the iPod came out I downloaded iTunes and setup an account using my then current e-mail address aka user ID for iTunes.  However, fast forward about 8 years later and that old e-mail address has long been forgotten.  I know the log in information but I haven't used the e-mail for communication purposes for about the last 3 years.  At the time I got myself a new e-mail address I just continued to download from the iTunes store using the same account with the old e-mail address because basically I was never really concerned with getting the receipts, weekly updates, etc. (I get enough e-mail as it is, lol).
This past summer my husband bought me an iPhone and set it up for me using my new/current e-mail address, different from the one I had purchased 100's of iTunes songs with over the past 8 years or so.  It seems as though while I can authorize iTunes for both of the accounts, and share the music on different computers, I can only transfer the ones I've downloaded with my new username/e-mail address from iTunes to my iPhone?!  What do I do about all of the 100's of purchases I made with my other account, are they now worth nothing as far as getting them on my iPhone which I use as my iPod nowadays?!
I'm staring at my lucky bamboo as I type this because I get this feeling that I'm SOL .  I've tried "googling" my way to the answer but I haven't been able to find it.  And if it turns out I am, than shame on Apple.  It's ridiculous to presume that someone will keep the same e-mail address created as a kid which is typically a non-sense, flashy e-mail to adulthood when they tend to be a little more reserved and business friendly; there should be a way to transfer between user accounts if it's clear that that account and billing information is the same.
    Any help is appreicated.
    Thanks.

    Zion,
This worked! ...about 50%, but I suppose that's better than nothing.  I went into iTunes on my old username and downloaded the 300+ songs to my library but then for some reason when I went to transfer them to my iPhone it would only transfer like 120 or so of them.  I'm not really sure why but I'll continue to work on it.  Thanks so much for the help.
FYI - if anyone else reads this bc they have the same problem.  If you choose to go this route and download previous purchases from your old account you cannot auto download any content on your new(er) apple ID for 90 days after the purchase download.  Just something to keep in mind, but for me, it was totally worth it.  I have no qualms about manually transferring the songs to my iPhone for the next 3 months if it meant getting the rights to transfer all my old songs to my iPhone.
    Thanks again!

  • Can multiple users access apps purchased from another Apple ID account?

I have several iMacs under my control. I need to find a way to download iLife using one Apple ID, so I can have all users on each machine to also have access to the updated iLife suite.
Is it possible for other users to access an app that was purchased from another Apple ID. If one purchases an app, does the machine allow access to all the users?
(I know those two last sentences are redundant, but I want to make sure everyone understands problem).
I've read countless articles on this, and can't seem to catch a break from the problem.

If this is in a school of some type or a corporate learning center with multipple Mac computers you should contact Apple directly and ask them for help in getting a version that can be installed on multiple Mac with out have to down the updates to each computer individually.
