Assets wont finish loading in aperture

Assets wont finish loading in aperture when I attempt to import photos from an SD card, does anyone know why and have a solution?

What version of the OS and Aperture? Is this a new install or has this all worked before?
Has this SD card worked in the past? How are you importing from the SD card? Have you tried importing from another source (different SD card, different camera, etc)?

    Does "got on iTunes" include downloading the app with iTunes on your computer?
    If so, have you tried installing the app on your iPhone via the iTunes sync process followed by deselecting the app under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by another sync to remove the app from your iPhone?

    Hello Kevin.
    You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
    Although I should say I'm not able to connect to the page from here, at the moment... So it's probably a problem with the page.

  • Safari some times wont finish loading web pages

    Some times some web pages won't finish loading. I don't remember this problem in the past. For example, one of the forum pages pages loads fine but the page for Amazon will not. Safari tries repeatedly and yields only a blank page. Could there be some incompatibility with Amazon? Actually it did load with my old Netscape. I tried dropping in the Safari application from the application folder on my my backup disk, no help. I surely hope I dont have to reinstall my OS. Any thoughts

    I use Safari and just visited Amazon's website which loaded completely without any problems.

  • My 1gen wont finishing loading

    It will reboot then stop loaing about a forth of the way.. what can I do??

    Your 4gb media card is not part of your device memory or the operating system software memory. The media card is only for "media" as in pictures, files, videos, music, etc.
    If by "loading or processing" you mean that you constantly see the small black clock in the middle of the screen meaning the processor is busy?
    First, what model number BlackBery?
    Second, What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > Device > About, third line down beginning with a "v.6.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

    jvie, this is a user to user community support Forum. We are simply users just like you, we are not RIM/BlackBerry employees. Why do you come here to insult us with this "should have got an iPhone" business? Do you walk around your neighborhood insulting complete strangers, like "Your house is ugly", and such? Does that make you feel good?

  • IPhone4 App stuck LOADING, wont finish, how to cancel/delete?

    I just replaced my iphone 4 today with a new iphone 4.  I restored from backup.  My apps started reloading.  One is stuck LOADING... and wont finish.  I can not delete this app, and it is holding up loading my other apps.  How can I stop this app from loading and get the OS to move on to the next app to reload?

    Also, I have reset the phone (home and on/off button pushed).  When the phone comes back up that app is still Loading...  and making no progress.   Can it be cancelled?   Or should I just pitch the damned thing in the ocean?

  • ColdFusion with IIS URL Rewrite - Page never finishes loading

    I am running CF10 on IIS 7.5 with URL Rewrite module installed.
    All the rewrite rules work perfectly and ColdFusion is returning the correct pages. In order to get the page displayed in the browser I have to manually set the 'content-length' value in Application.cfc like this:
    <cfcomponent>
    <cffunction name="onRequestEnd">
    <cfheader name="Content-Length" value="#getPageContext().getCFOutput().getBuffer().size()#" />
    </cffunction>
    </cfcomponent>
    Without this code the browser does not display the page. However, even though it is now displaying the page, it is not doing it correctly. The page never finishes loading fully and not all of the HTML content seems to be on the page.
    I have tried to add a <cfflush> tag after setting the 'content-length' but it makes no difference. I don't understand why this is happening but I know that it has happened to someone else who was using htaccess: http://forums.devshed.com/coldfusion-development-84/page-not-finishing-loading-coldfusion- and-htaccess-bug-575906.html
    Can anyone please help?

    Hi guys,
    I would like to do url rewriting on our CF app but am worried I'll break something if I try and do it myself - is there anyone who would be interested in a bit of consultancy to help us achieve this?
    I want to turn http://www.allchichesterjobs.com/search-results.cfm?sector=21&q=part-time-jobs
    into http://www.allchichesterjobs.com/part-time-jobs
    I've tried this using IIS and URL Rewrite, when I browsed to http://www.allchichesterjobs.com/search-results.cfm?sector=21&q=part-time-jobs
    my browser was redirected to http://www.allchichesterjobs.com/part-time-jobs ok - but then I got a 404 error
    I'm wondering if I can pay someone to remote view my screen while we talk on skype and tell me what to do?
    Hope it's ok to post this sort of request on here
    Thanks very much indeed.
    Nick

  • Snow Leopard (10.6.8) Web Browser, App Store, iTunes Store image won't finish loading.

    Hello,
    I've recently upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard by clean installing. Once I upgraded to Snow Leopard (10.6.3) everything seemed to work perfectly except for the new keyboard that I purchased (requires upgrade to 10.6.8). So as I upgraded to 10.6.8 by "Software Update…".
    Once the update was completed and the machine restarted I've noticed when I opened opened couple of common sites in Safari (such as: Flickr, YouTube, and Amazon) and some of the images won't finish loading with a "?" in the middle where the image would be and browser assumes that the site was done loading. First I thought this was a refresh problem so I hit refresh on the browser but nothing really happened. I thought this was strange so I decided to download Google Chrome and Firefox to try it out as well. Same situation as well… Then I opened  the App Store and iTunes Store and the same things happened there as well. I'm assuming that all these images exists online so anything that access the web to load images will just crap out. One odd thing is that this problem don't seem to happen on any of the sites on Apple when I view it in the web browsers.
    I couldn't figure out the reason so I decided to reinstall Snow Leopard (10.6.3) again by cleaning out the hard drives as before. Once it finished installing I opened up iTunes Store and Safari and the images loads fine. So went ahead (crossing my fingers) to "Software Updates…" to 10.6.8 and the the problem happened again.
    I naively went ahead and tried to clean installing it again, thinking "Third time is the charm!" But same situation once I upgrade to 10.6.8. After the third time I let the browser sit there after it didn't load those images. I waited about five minutes and hit refresh and the images loaded. This happened the same with App Store and iTunes Store images as well. This is very odd because my interment connection hasn't been a changed before I upgraded to 10.6.8. Seems like browsers just cuts off the loading time of the whatever that's lagging instead on that site.
    Is there a solution in the preferences for this or is this some kind of a bug that I'm having with my OS disc or network card? I don't think this has nothing to do with my modem or my interment service because it was working fine before I upgraded to 10.6.8.

    I get that same problem too-you could try checking your network settings, release and renew your IP address, see if that helps. There is a tweaking menu you can get in Firefox that can help somewhat (google Firefox tweaks) but you'd have to raise the hood in FF and tinker a bit, but it does help. How much RAM do you have on your Mac Pro?, also update your Java and shockwave
    sorry I can't be of more help

  • How to find out that sequence has finished loading?

    Hello,
    i have a custom C#-OPUI to load and execute testplans.
    I do this using these funtions:
    1. ApplicationManager.OpenSequencFile(filename)
    2. ???
    3.Command TestStart = axSequenceFileViewMgr.GetCommand(.......)
    TestStart.Execute(true)
    The question is now: How do i know that the OpenSequenceFile has finished doing everything?
    I need to know that is finished before i run the execute-command.
    Is there a specail final-event that i can check?
    Thanks for help
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi jigg,
    Thanks for the info.
    In my sequence file, besides the main sequence, I also enabled "SequenceFileLoad" callback. In "SequenceFileLoad" sequence, I added some instruments initialization tests. The goal is to initialize the instruments only once when the sequence file is loaded. Therefore I need to know when the "SequenceFileLoad" is finished or when the sequence file has finished loading.
    My first idea is to use the event "axApplicationMgr_SequenceFileOpened", but I found that I will catch this event before the "SequenceFileLoad" execution finished.
    And then, I also found that together with the execution of sequence "SequenceFileLoad", there are 2 events in my C# code: "axApplicationMgr_StartExecution" and "axApplicationMgr_EndExecution" triggered. So I was thinking may be I can use "axApplicationMgr_EndExecution" to determine if the sequence file has finished loading. But the problem is every sequence execution will trigger these 2 events. The main sequence will also trigger these 2 events. So I needs to know the name/ID of the current executing sequence.
    So Is there a way to read current executing sequence name?
    Thanks and regards,

  • TS5192 After updating with 4.09 my photos which I store on an external hard drive will load into Aperture for 15 or so photos and then I just get the same photo repeating despite clicking on a different one in the group.  I have to stop working and come b

    After installing the 4.09 fix to process RAW from Sony RX100 (after updating to 3.5.1), photos do not continue to load into Aperture from the external hard drive where they are referenced.  The same photo is stuck in the adjustments frame to be worked on and the photos will not advance, no matter what I try, so i can work on the next one.  I can only work on a few at a time and then i have to go away and come back another day.  4.09 does fix the barrel distortion but it has completely gummed up the uploading of the referenced photos.  It's taking me days and weeks to process a couple of hundred photos.

    The Macbook Air is a low end Macintosh for graphics apps and you are asking it to perform a heavy pro workflow using a pro application. The integrated GPU of MBAs is a serious limiter to heavy graphics. Personally I would expect flaky performance with certain operations. In general I recommend that Aperture users choose boxes with independent GPUs and capable of taking 16 GB RAM if necessary.
    It will be important to carefully optimize workflow. How much RAM is in the MBA? The most Apple specs is 8 GB but you can check OWC to see if you can go to 16 GB. My Aperture/Photoshop workflow paged out at 8 GB RAM before I upgraded to 16 GB RAM.
    You should evaluate whether or not you have adequate RAM:
    Look at the Page Outs number under System Memory on the Activity Monitor app before starting a typical Aperture/Photoshop work session and write the number down. Recheck the Page Outs count after working for a few hours and write the number down again. If the page outs change (manual calculation of ending page outs number minus starting page outs number) is not zero your workflow is RAM-starved.
    Ignore the pie charts and other info in Activity Monitor because they can be misleading regarding RAM usage. For RAM analysis, manually count page outs before and after a work session.

  • My repaired macbook now has Yosemite. I have my photo library on an external drive loaded with Aperture 2. Now unable to do anything.

    My "photo management macbook" crashed and when it was repaired it was upgraded to Yosemite. This macbook is used exclusively for photos using Aperture 2 (I also have a new Pro retina and an older macbook as well, with Yosemite and Lion loaded respectively). I have my photo library on an external drive and it was loaded using Aperture 2. Now I cannot use Aperture, cannot see photos, cannot upgrade to Aperture 3.6 and so cannot migrate photos to another software package, which I am going to have to do this year sometime.
    What can I do to get Aperture working and migrate my photos?

    On Yosemite you can only run Aperture 3.6, but that will not run on Lion.
    If you want to get Aperture running on your photo management macbook, restore it to the previous system from the last backup you made before the crash occurred, if you have a full Time Machine backup.  If you want to keep the Mac on Yosemite, try to restore the older system to an external drive and boot the Mac from that drive, when you want to work with Aperture 2.
    Otherwise your only option would be to buy the upgrade to Aperture 3.6.
