Assign Internal Orders to Update types

I am trying to post my bank fees to multiple internal orders under one Cost Element.  When running t-code TBB1, the draw fees are posted automatically for the respective transactions based on what was entered in t-code FTR_EDIT on the Other Flows tab.  We use the same Cost Element for all our fees and have a default Internal Order set up in OKB9 for that Cost Element for our Cash Management area.  The use of different Internal Orders is needed as the draw fees are associated with the Treasury area.  Is there a way that I set up which internal order will be used dependant on the update type?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Wayne

    3. Stock  updated
i just want to confirm, we not issued like X  material,  even stock not available,  we can make entries like the above, To receive X material from Internal order/ subcontractor using movement type 262.
kindly advice please  if it is wrong then tell me the process.
    Regards,

    HI,
if we receive material from subcontractor what process we can do...
can you explain your issue exactly what problem you have at your end .
I think you want to take subcontracting material inside which is not in sap system now,it may finished material or it may component. If you don't want to show this material as at vendor now
then you can try movement type 501  or through physical inventory  t-code MI10

  • Internal order to movement type

Is it possible to assign movement types to internal order in FI config?
    Please advice.
Edited by: PS on Aug 7, 2009 7:25 PM

    PS,
You can't assign movement types to internal order in FI. Instead you could configure movement type in MM and  assign a movement type to  a GL account. Then the GL  account (cost element type 1 in CO) is the one that you can default to an internal order.
    Hope this helps.

  • CATS billing thru PS | internal Order, WBS, Activity Type

    Hi,
I am a HCM consultant, therefore I have zero knowledge in PS/SD.
Currently I am working on a task, where I need to create the bill on the CATS data (Time Sheet Data: HCM). I want to know how the CATS data is transferred to WBS, and how the billing of the same is done in PS the WBS element and Activity Type. I ll be transfering the time data to Internal Order (I dont know how to assign these internal orders to WBS elements) and in Activity type I ll be storing the rates of the activities/tasks. Now on the basis of these Internal type, WBS and Activity type, How can I generate a bill in PS? (We are inactivate in SD module).
A more clear explanation would be better as said, am new to PS..
    regards
    Tahir

    HI Tahir,
wbs and internal order is the object where we can book time via time sheet so clear here when you are booking time in CAT2 transaction then time sheet ask it's receiver object that would be either wbs nor I/O. once you have done this activity, then need to transfer it to object area like PS CS CO HR PayRoll
such transaction path is below in CATS
    CAT2
    Time Sheet: Maintain Times
    CAT2_ISCR
    CATS: Maintain Times (Init. Screen)
    CAT3
    Time Sheet: Display Times
    CAT3_ISCR
    CATS: Display Times (Initial Screen)
    CAT4
    CATS: Approve Data
    CAT5
    Data Transfer CATS -> PS
    CAT6
    Transfer External -> Time Management
    CAT7
    CATS: Transfer Data to CO
    CAT8
    Time Sheet: Document Display
    CAT9
    Data Transfer CATS -> PM/CS

  • Profit Center Reports / drill down to assigned internal orders

    Hello guys,
our company does project business. Our project landscape has been implemented in SAP using a profit-center-structure for reporting purpose and internal orders for every project.
The internal orders (projects) are assigned to a profit center belonging to the conducting profit-center-group (responsible department).
    Question 1:
Further development of Profit CenterReport S_ALR_87013340 allowing for a drill down from the profit centers to the actual projects that have been assigned to that profit centers.
Currently (standard report) each profit center can only be watched in a cumulated way. Since many projects can be assigned to one profit center a drill down to the actual project is required.
    Question 2:
Currently the desired report Profit Center Report S_ALR_87013340 shows the balance. It is desired to see only the cost incurred on the projects, not the settlement. The report should only show pre-selected cost elements. How can we exclude certain cost elements?
Could you please give us some hints how to handle our issues?
    Regards

    Hi,

Currently the desired report Profit Center Report S_ALR_87013340 shows the balance. It is desired to see only the cost incurred on the projects, not the settlement. The report should only show pre-selected cost elements. How can we exclude certain cost elements?
A1: you can created cost elements(account group) with selected cost elements and use same group in report.
    Or
A2:enter only selected cost elements in report P&L account group in multiple selection.

  • Block creation of new Internal Order Type

    Hello,
We have several internal Orders types and we want to block the creation of new IO. Is there any way through customizing to do that?
I have considering to do it using an step in a validation but I think can be a better way.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Ravi is right, you can restrict through authorizations. To do that, you have to modify the role assigned to users that allow them to create internal orders of any type. Use the transaction SUIM, search the role by user or by transaction (KO01). Then, in the role, there is an entry that corresponds to Controlling (CO) -
    > CO-OPA: General authorization object for internal orders (K_ORDER) -
    >
Order Type  (AUFART)   : Select for example RA01
    Internal order authorization  (AUTHPHASE) :
    Actions for CO-OM Authorizatio (CO_ACTION) :  0000  Master Data.
    Cost Element  (KSTAR) :
    CO-OM Responsibility Area  (RESPAREA) :
Usually a BASIS do the modification of the role.

Please do the config setting in IMG in integration with general ledger as Additional Account assignment objects. There you have to activate the Internal Order for Depreciation posting and save.

  • Sales Order value updating in the Internal Order Revenue Planning

    Dear All,
We have created an Internal Order and entered the planned value of the Revenue & Costs. When we create the Sales Order ,the Planned Revenue value of the Internal Order is updating by the Sales Order Value, but as per the client requirement ,the planned value of the Internal Order should not get updated by the sales order value.
Please note that we have activated the CO-PA.Is this CO-PA activation is affecting the Internal Order planned values by the Sales Order value?.If so how to come from this issue.
Please help me as how to resolve this issue.

    Hi,
Thanks for giving the appropriate SAP Note and I have referred the said note, but in note the SAP has said that
"The attached modification deactivates the update for the order for all order categories (CO internal order, PM order, CS order)."
In our scenario we need to update the planned vales in the CO Internal Order ,PM Order and CS Order except the Sales Order value. Is there any other alternative solution without affecting the CO Internal Order,PM order and CS Order?
Please share as we are in the process of testing.

  • Assignment of Production Order to Internal Order

Can a production order be assigned to an internal order so that the manufacturing costs can be seen in the internal order?
My scenario is such that I want to manufacture sheet metal dies. The various costs involved are design costs, procurement costs and manufacturing costs. The design costs and procurement costs will be captured in the internal order. I want to capture the manufacturing cost through the production order.
Now the problem is how can I see the total of all three costs in the internal order?
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Sumeet

    As I know,
You can assign internal order as a settlement receiver. Since production order itself is a cost receiver.
Why connot you use internal order instead of production order. You can do GR/GI to internal order.
One more option is you can use cost centre/internal order as a receiver, maintain a minimum price (1unit=1$)in production material and when you settle all the cost will be settled against the cost centre/internal order.

  • Open Items in GR/IR Account Internal Order wise

    Hi,
Is it possible to view Open Items in GR/IR Account Internal Order wise?. We are assigning Internal Order in Goods Receipt and want to view Open items for the particular Order.
    Regards,
    Amanullah

    Thanks for your response.
I already review the accounting and is pretty fine.
The system creates document type WE and RE for the Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt.
Unfortunately in transaction FBLN the system shows as a Open Item, and honestly I don't know the reason.
I really appreciate any help for this issue.

  • Budget Process (Linked the maintenance Order into Internal Order) in EAM

    Dear Experts,
Scenario for Repair & Maintenance with only MM & FICO module live w.e.f. 2007 (PM not live)
Process Managed thru Internal Order (Order Type: RPMT)
Budget managed through Investment Management (IM); Budget is directly entered against the IO using transaction IM52
Scenario for Repair & Maintenance with only MM, FICO & PM module live (PM went live in 2010)
It was proposed to assign budget against each Maintenance Order.  Since the number of maintenance orders being used is very high, it was decided to link the MO & IO so that budget will be assigned to the IO and when the MO is settled against the IO, the budget in IO can be deducted accordingly. The proposed process to assign budget in Internal Order against each Maintenance Order are given below-:
1.)     In EAM process one can plan/procure material and External Services only when the Maintenance Order is created & released but practically it has to be planned long before any Maintenance Activity (Maintenance Order to be linked with the estimate so that PO can be created against the estimate).
2.)     The no. of Maintenance Order generated in EAM Module is very large as Maintenance order is created for almost each and every maintenance activity. It is cumbersome to allocate the budget to each and every maintenance order. There should be a single estimate for maintenance activity (as in MM module) and that should be linked to maintenance order so that the actual cost of Indent/Service Entry Sheet can be deducted automatically from the estimate (Maintenance Order is to be linked with estimate).
3.)      While doing return Indent the cost of return material is not being added to the maintenance order automatically (Maintenance Order is to be linked with estimate).
4.)      If Material & External Services not planned in the maintenance order (estimate), the user must be able to do that through Internal Order (estimate), hence the Internal Order must be link to the Maintenance Order. They should able to record the planned & actual cost in the maintenance Order.
    Process followed:
1.) Created Internal Order in KO01 for Repair & Maintenance Order Type
Assigned budget to Internal Order thru IM52
2.) Created PM order and assigned Internal order against Settlement Order in tab
u2018Locationu2019 and in Settlement Rule with 100%. In this Section attach the Internal
         Order with selection type u2018ORDu2019.
3.) Released both orders and issue the Material for particular Operation and then
determine the Cost for material .After that performed MIGO for consumption of
         materials.
4.) Settled the PM order in KO88.
         Settlement process was successfully saved.
    Problem faced:
After posting the goods movement (against each Maintenance Order) and settlement of the maintenance order against IO, we still find the budget assigned to the IO is not consumed/deducted.
    1. Actual cost of maintenance is not reflected in the internal order
immediately. We have to run cost settlement (t-code KO88) for the
maintenance order each time the actual cost is incurred in the maintenance order.
    2. Also in the case of return indent, the value of returned material is not directly
added to the available budget of internal order.
    3. When the material is issued from store through the reservation generated by
maintenance order, system does not check for budget in the internal
order/maintenance order while issuing material from the store.
    4.  It must not be allowed to create reservation from the internal order of order type
         RPMT.
    5.  In case of external service in the maintenance order, the unit of
measure in the requisition is set to u201CD (days)u201D by default. System does not allow
changing the unit of measure in the requisition (it should allow to change the unit
of measure or set the unit of measure u201CJOBu201D).
6.) When the material is issued from  the store through reservation generated  in
maintenance order, system does not check for budget in Internal Order
(estimate)/Maintenance Order while issuing material from store.
    Thanks & Regards
    Deepak Soni

    Hi,
    1. Actual cost of maintenance is not reflected in the internal order
immediately. We have to run cost settlement (t-code KO88) for the
maintenance order each time the actual cost is incurred in the maintenance order.
As per the standard system budgeting is done against the actual cost only. And until you settle your order the actual cost from
maint order are not getting transfered to IO. Once they are transfered system is checking for the budget.
    2. Also in the case of return indent, the value of returned material is not directly added to the available budget of internal order.
This is similar to first point, when you return goods there will be negative cost on the order, this has to be settled until that system will not compare the IO budget with maintenance order actual cost.
    3. When the material is issued from store through the reservation generated by maintenance order, system does not check for budget in the internal order/maintenance order while issuing material from the store.
The budget you have assigned is at IO, how can system will check the budget while issueing goods for maintenance order. We may have to develop or use some user exit over here. Which will trigger checking of budget from the settlement receiver IO for that maintenance order.
I think you may have to go for development. These are my observations from my experience.

  • Sales order settlement Problem with Internal Order

    HI Dear Friends,
How are you, I am fine.
We have 1 Process here Related with SD & FI/CO

the process is we have make 1st Contract and create Internal order and assign Internal order to Contract
then Create Sales Release Order and assing Internal Order in Settlement Rule in Sales order.
then we create billing ref to Contract and then we did PGI.
    1) at billing time the Internal Order is Updatting
    2) at PGI time internal Order is not updating  - what is the right process - the internal; Order will be updating or not
then we have to do Sales order Settlement thtough Trasaction code VA88
what will happned at this level pleas be advicsed becos when i do this it is giving messges not is toi be settled.
Friends I did all exercise complete except Settlement trough T-Code VA88.
When I am going to do this settlement VA88 it is giving messages there is nothing to be settle.
What I have to do please be advised.
    I did all these activities:
    1)     Create sales Contract
    2)     Create Internal Order
    3)     Assign Internal Order to sales Contract
    4)     Crate Release Sales Order
    5)     Assign Internal Order to Release Sales Order
    6)     Delivery & PGI
    7)     Billing         (at billing time the internal Order should be Updates (pls advise it should be or not)
    8)     Last is Settlement VA88 u2013 this time it is giving Error.
When I settle the Sales order to internal order what will happens. Which value will update.
    Please reply me frds,
    Thanks,
    Srem.

    hello Lakshmipathi,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I tried to change the requierement class in order to put one with special stock E as you explained, but i still have my weird schedule line. When i put the item in the order it is 0 stock for today, but stock find in 12 days either if there is stock or no(unrestricted stock i mean).
If i change the RDD in more than 12 days the stock is available for the date requested.
If you have an idea of what could be wrong because on my case i want the schedule line to be at 0 while the sales order reservation has not been processed (via MB1B/412/E) and once the stock movement is done the schedule line has to be find.
I dont know if im clear enought..
To be more clear,  i want the schedule line based on the "sales order stock" and not on the "unrestricted stock".
    thanks for your help!
