Assign MA  partner func to procedure

Hi  I want to assign MA partner function to Partner detrmination procedure I get eerror as
Partner Function MA can not be used for Partner procedures, I checked MA - Partner Function MA- Mail PArtner Function address is alreday defined as PArtner function but assignment is not happening
can any one help

    As We all know, the use of Partner Determination Procedure is to assign Partner Function into it, and when we create the the Equipment, We can assign Desired Partner Optionally. For Example, you could assign Person Responsible (link it with HR module) to get who will responsbile when the equipment is broken, lost, etc.
    other benefit, it is also possible to transfer the equipment's Partner Determination Procedure into Notification's Partner Determinatiion Procedure. Please, Correct me if I'm wrong.
    In the end, it's depends on your business Process to use Partner Determination Procedure or not.

  • Accounts group assignment in partner determination

    Hi SAP experts...
    In our scenario our clients customer has different partners like sold to party, ship to party, bill to parpty and payer. so as to configure in partner determination procedure shall we need to go for different account groups for each partner??. What happen if we choose one account group?. Account group has number range assignment, if we go for different account groups then diff.number ranges will be there for each partner of the customer...right...
    Can any one clarify and tell the procedure if we go for different account groups.

    In VOPA transaction code, you create a partner determination procedure. Here you specify the partner functions to be used & also mark the mandatory partner functions.
    This partner determination procedure is then assigned to the account group. Basically the standard account group for "sold to party - 0001" has all partner functions "SP", "SH", "BP" & "PY". Your requirement demands separate partne functions for SP, SH, BP & PY.
    So you will have to create 4 different partner determination procedures in VOPA.
    ZSOL - SP
    ZSHI - SH
    ZBIL - BP
    ZPAY - PY
    Create similar acount groups ZSOL, ZSHI, ZBIL & ZPAY in transaction code OBD2 & do the appropriate field selection for them.
    Now assign the partner determination procedures to the account groups in VOPA.
    ZSOL = ZSOL
    ZSHI = ZSHI
    ZBIL = ZBIL
    ZPAY = ZPAY
    Also assign the individual partner functions as mentioned below:
    ZSOL = SP, SH, BP, PY
    ZSHI = SH
    ZBIL = BP
    ZPAY = PY
    For ZSOL we assigned all partner functions because, when you will create a sold to party customer, you also have to specify who will the ship to party, bill to party & payer customers for the sold to party.
    Now if you want you can assign the same number range to all account groups (assign a single person to create the customer master. So whenever a new customer is created, the partners will be created in line which will be very helpful)
    Assume the number range is "0000010000 to 0000099999"
    Create SP for 10000
    Create SH for 10001
    Create BP for 10002
    Create PY for 10003
    Go to XD02 - select the customer 10000 - go to sales area data - partner functions.
    Here in the "PF" column enter SH & in number enter 10001
    Here in the "PF" column enter BP & in number enter 10002
    Here in the "PF" column enter PY & in number enter 10003
    So you have assigned the relevant partners to the sold to party.

    Extend your vendor to new purchase organisation.  Assaign new pricing procedure to this Purchase organisation.
    Use different Purchase organisation while creating POs for the same vendor  procuring from different countries.

  • Partner Functions in Procedure - CRM 2007

    We have an issue where a "Partner Function is determined on a 'Plan Header' ".
    We need to populate the Ex. Interaction Centre (CRM) function, which 95 times out of 100, works fine.
    the majority of plans that are created, this will read the Org Unit from the user creating the plan to populate this data.
    basically we have interfaces creating plans with references to Quotes, using the Standard PIAPPLUSER, and as no Org Unit is assigned to this service user, we are able to add our own Org Unit to the ICENTER function.
    however, if there are any errors during this processing, and we need to reprocess, it reads the Org Unit of the person processing the data, and not the code i am passing into CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN....
    we have looked at the settings:
        Determination Time in Partner Determination
            Specifies at what point in a transaction the system determines business
            partners for that transaction.
            o   Recurring partner determination starts as soon as you begin creating
                a transaction document and reoccurs as you process the transaction,
                until the system has found partners for all partners functions to
                which you assigned recurring partner determination.
            o   Determination during product entry occurs when you make entries at
                item level. If you want to carry out partner determination based on
                particular products or services, use this option.
            o   Determination when saving occurs when you save the transaction for
                the first time.
                -   For example, you could be use this option to determine partners
                    based on the total value of the transaction.
    ideally, we would like the determination to only occur if there is not an OU present for the ICENTER partner function.
    does anyone have any ideas?

    Sorry to post a very basic question, but I am quite new to Dealer Portal and SD functional module. Request to help.

    As per the above link,below are the steps done.
    I have created logical system and assigned to RFC destination using transaction DPCOMMON_MAP_S_R.
    Then assigned the logical system created at the above step to partner, through transaction DPCOMMON_MAP_P_S
    And lastly also assigned users to partners through transaction DPCOMMON_MAP_U_P.
    However I am getting below errors when initial overview screen is accessed,I think there are some configurations missing.. Any help is appreciated.
    Personalization data not found.
    No system assigned for partner in transaction DPCOMMON_MAP_P_S

    Issue is resolved.
    For the RFC destination , log on security tab. Ensure current user is ticked and no hard coded user id being passed here.
    Also ensure the personalization data is saved properly by navigating to personalization iview.

  • Error TTB1: You have not assigned business partner B1000 to a customer

    Hi,
    When trying to post the costs of a forex transaction we receive this error message: You have not assigned business partner B1000 to a customer ; Message no. FLBP116. When posting these costs (on a P&L account) we go through a finance interface to derive a CO object (network activity) from PS. Strange thing is that we don't have this error in Dev or QAS but only in acceptance which is a copy of prod... The interface works fine for costs from guarantees and L/C which goes to an other network activity in PS.
    Any recommandations on this? The BP functionality has never been used befor by my customer.

    We are pulling org. structure form HR to SRM system. We are mainating the same central person as well as positon from HR system. But one of the central perosn in SRM is missing the business paterner due to which when I run BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE we get an error business partner no unique, I repaired the user I did not work. How to assign business partner to CP.

    There are several options - go for "Employee for Business Partner" and enter in the field the supplier number or search for the supplier you want to create an employee for. Hit create and fill out the screen. The upper part of the screen creates the employee, in the lower part the user id (with which you logon) is maintained. The structure of the screen is asking all relevant elements needed to create a full SRM users and integrates the account into the Org Model.
    For the central Org Unit for Bidders enter the Node Number for the Vendor Root.
    How to assign contact person user id to Vendor uploaded from ECC?

    2. You need to go into Transaction BP, select the BP for whom you want to change their roles. Click on the change button and then you can select from the drop down field "Change in BP Role" the role that you need for that BP.

  • Problem with BP. Assignment: Business partner person to user not unique

    I have a problem with a user. They have no BP assigned in PPOSA_BBP. We have found a BP in transaction BP.
    When we try the BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE the message BBP_UM_UI048 appear" Assignment: Business partner person to user not unique" .
    Any idea about how solve this??

    The user needs to be attached to the Org Plan. (PPOMA_BBP)
    Have you maintained the Contact person for this USer in the Org Plan. (PPOMA_BBP) ?
    Please check the consitency of this BP as well.

  • Problems in Assigning PDF form in dunning procedure

    I have created a z adobe form for dunning letter and would like to assign it to the dunning procedure in Tcode F150.
    I have gone through the path on SPRO.. Financial Accounting (New)->Accounts receivable and payable->Business Transactions->Dunning->printout->Assign Dunning forms..
    In here it shows standard SAPscripts and I would like to change them and put the adobe forms on different dunning level..But now this is greyed out and does not allow me to add my own forms .
    Does anybody have an idea on why this is the case??

    I found SAP Note 774207 - New PDF forms in FI. It is not brand-new (valid since                         12.05.2006) but it mentions that you first have to change the function module to FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF (Transaction FIBF) for the SAP Publish&Subscribe Business Transaction Event 00001720 FI-FI.
    In Transaction FIBF, Settings -> P/S modules -> for a customer, I found
    00001720    SEDUNN    SE    FI-FI    SE_DUNN_LOOP
    You could try to set FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF instead of SE_DUNN_LOOP.
    At least, the modules have the same interface. But honestly, I have no idea if it will help you to get along.
    In the Note, you'll find a small test program.

  • Is it possible to assign a partner type to a BP role automatically

    Hi all,
    I have over 60 roles to customize (Fields Groupings in SPRO) and i'm trying to group them into a single customizing action.
    All these roles have same attributes but i need to make a geopraphic distinction.
    In field groupings spro it is possible to "Configure Field Attributes per Business Partner Type" but i realize that Partner Type is to be set on master data by user hence my will to assign the partner type automatically to a role or a group of roles when a user creates a partner.
    Is it possible? if no, is there any other way to set field attributes for 1 role instead of 60?
    Well any advice would be welcome.

    As standard SAP it is not possible to define default BP type for specific roles. But you can use some Badi or Function Modules to do the same.

    I am trying to assign same partner role (GS) more than once in a PO, as we have several different suppliers for the different items in the PO. A different option would be tab "confirmations" in PO but I need to be able to check validity of suppliers....

  • Assignment: Business partner for person '50000029' is not unique

    HI,
    In the past, whenever I use to create the employee using Tcode PA40, the corresponding Business Partner (BP) used to get created.
    But now when I create the employee, BP does not gets created.
    I checked using the program "HR_SYNC_PERSON" and found that whenever I select the employee option and execute it gives the following error(whenever I select the employee option and execute):
    Assignment: Business partner for person '50000029' is not unique
    Can you please help!

    Oh, I understand.  Earlier I misunderstood your statement.
    So the CP is 50000029.  Regardless, the point is still the same.  SAP tried generating a BP to tie to CP 50000029.  Your system HAS configured a BP number range.  Whatever the next value of your number range is, seems like is already being used. 
    Go to the BP number range config and look at the next value.  Look in transaction BP and enter that BP and see if you get any hits.  My guess is that you will.  You'll likely need to end up changing your business partner number range.  You won't get unique violations for different OTYPE values. 
    What's your existing BP number range next value?  What happens when you search for that value in transaction BP?

  • Automatic assignment of Partner Function (Dealer) based on Postal Code?

    Hi Experts,
    We are realizing a project in the Bathroom-Product Industry. Responsible for the service to the end-clients are authorized dealer. When creating a service ticket the responsible dealer has to be assigned automatically to the ticket on the basis of the postal code where the IBase (the product) is installed.
    The process is:
    1. The client is calling the Interaction Centre and first the IC Agent has to identify the account and the Installed Base (The     installed base contains the postal code where the product of the client is installed) of this account.
    2. An Interaction Record is created to record this inbound call.
    3. Afterwards a Service Ticket is created as a follow-up Document of the Interaction Record. In the moment of the creation of the Service Ticket the correct dealer has to be assigned automatically to the Service Ticket (as a Partner Function not as a Service Organization) on the basis of the postal code of the installed base.
    I have the following question! Which are the steps to assign automatically a Business Partner Function to a Service Ticket? We also need to create a Z-Table with the postal codes for which every dealer is responsible.
    Example:
    Dealer 1 is responsible for the postal codes: 08040 - 08045 and 08056 - 08059. If a client is calling and his product (Installed Base) is installed in Postal Code 08042 or 08054 the dealer 1 has to be assigned to the service ticket.
    I hope I could make myself clear ;-)? Anybody can give me a hint how to do that? What are the basic steps?

    Slightly similiar, originally being an R/3 customer before implementing CRM our dealer equated to sales office.
    In the CRM Org model (PPOMA_CRM) in the attributes of the sales office we entered the Regions & Postal codes for that dealer (pain in the arse to do) and in CRM the sales office in the org creates a BP.
    We used a org rule for the IR record based on country, region, postal code to determine the appropriate sales org, DC, div, and sales office based onthe zip code.  We created a custom partner function to represent the partner number of the  BP from the org model.  Then we configured a custom relationship "ZORG" "Is partner of sales office" and went into the BP master and assigned the actual dealer number as a partner to BP from the org model that = sales office.  From that we configured a custom access sequence to pull the actual dealer number from the org model office relationships.
    We looked at territory management, but our dealer is an "org BP" and territory management appeared to want to drive to a person BP number.

    Under this organisation there are 200 vendors .
    When i run the report: BBP_XPRA_ORGEH_TO_VENDOR_GROUP
    it is showing an error -No partner assigned
    How to assign the Business partner for the organisation .
