Assign user into SAP organizational structure

Hi,
I'm searching program or function which allows assigning user to a position within the SAP organizational structure as it can be done using the transaction PPOME.

Hi PFO - Use tcode PP01 to assign user to position,
PP01->object type = position-> click on Relationships and click change mode now change the relationship type as uer and assign user to the selected position.

Hello,
In GRC Risk Management 10, you can assign users to a risk in the roles tab of a risk.
Is it possible to be able to assign any employee in HR org structure to one of these roles such as Risk Owner?
More specifically, would it be possible to create a link such that only the employees in the assigned organization unit in the risk are shown in the list of users to be assigned to one of these roles?

we have the scenarioas below
need to integrate the third party HR system ORG structure entity to the Role based travle management approval task.
but the process and workflow structure for all the department are same.
only the roles are different for each user.
no need to disple the standard approval role in Process initiation.
Custom role should be populated based on the selection from the first action.
example: if the user need cash and he should select the cash need option from
first action then the finace approver should appear in next action.
if not it should not appear.
please advice which GP callable object is best for this process.
i have the plan to use the webdynpros..

Hi,
In PP you dont have any mandatory Organization structure to be maintained. Same MM organization structure (plant, storage loction etc) would be used in PP also.Since customization starts at Plant level in PP so, the one which is used for MM applies to PP also.

Reconciliation ad users into an Organization

Hi *,
I'm trying to run a reconciliation of ad users into oim.
1) In the "AD User Trusted Recon" schedule task, "OIM Organization" parameter,
when I set this parameter to "Xellerate Users", reconciliation run succeful. User is created on Xellerate Users organization.
But, when I try to give a different value (i.e. An organization name that we have created..For example, say "Demo"), it gives following error...
2009-11-16 04:40:19,467 ERROR [XELLERATE.SERVER] Class/Method: tcUSR/eventPreInsert Error :Mandatory fields are blank or null.
2) In current users in AD, they don't have an end date set. So, after reconciling those ad users to oim, I will set the end date from back end (i.e. by updating the OIM usr table manually). Will it trigger the "Update <field_name" task?

Thanks...But, when I change that value, I got an error....I will try that again.....
But, now i'm having another problem.....
I reconcile users from AD to oim using "AD User Trusted Recon"....But, this will not create any thing on "Resource Object" part of the user's profile...
So, after that i run the "AD User target recon"....This create a result on the "Resource Object" part of the OIM user's profile....
Resource Name -> AD User
Status -> Enable
Is this the correct way of reconciling user information....Otherwise, if I do not run the "AD User target recon", there is no indication or connection between OIM User profile and AD....
And another.....do I have to add "Change <field_name>" tasks on "AD User" provisioning process to update changes made in the OIM User's profile edit page to AD process form??

How to assign values into sap idoc

Dear all,
     I have created Purchase order.   My PO number is xxxx569. I have created PO using ME21N.   In this ME21N i have give material,deliver date,price,PO Quantity.
    My actual assignment is whatever PO quantity may give in ME21N , but in idoc it should come some constant value like 1000,2000.
   Tell procedure how to do.

Hi,
Just check where is your IDOC getting populated.
You can find this by searching for FM 'MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE' or just by fetching the name of your IDOC type or message type.
or trigger a IDOC in debugging mode via tcode WE19.
When you get that, just check where the quantity field is getting filled. Here you can give your desired value to the IDOC.

Display the shopping cart details via Monitor shopping cart without the user being mapped in organizational structure

Dear Experts,
I have a scenario where the Project/Support team members won't be mapped into the organizational structure. But they must be able to view the shopping cart details. Could you please help me in providing some clue to achieve this.
As of now, I am getting the below error if the user is trying to view the shopping cart details when the user is not mapped into the organizational struture.

Hi Bharathi,
Make it more simple. Create a separate organizational unit for the Support/Admin team and intergrate the users there.
It's the common practic.

Issue has been resolved,issue is due to the last name is not maintained for the user in SU01 then user trying the assign to org through users_gen t code.

Assign User ids to Recipient Group

Could any one please tell us how to assign users into a recipient group.
Recipient group can be found from SPRO IMG
Training and event management --> Day to day Activities --> Correspondance --> Notification Abbreviations

Dear Pritam,
With the Definition of the recepient groups you can specify for which recipient group which function module should be linked / should be used.
In the function module it is decided whom the correppondece will be sent.
F.e.:
Recipient group Prebooked -> RH_GET_ADDR_PREB (function module)
If you prebook a course with one of your Objects (Person, User, Candidate, Org. Unit, etc..) than the object automatically belongs to the Prebooked group.
For the "prebooked" group you can specify different notification types they call the function module.

Problems assigning BP to a position in the organizational structure

I tried to assign a bp to a position in the organizational structure,
but I receive this message "Object cannot be assigned to object CliC
Agent in the period 21.12.2006 - 31.12.9999".
Also, I notice that in the screen, the checkbox where i can select for
the business partner is missing.
However, I can assign a user to the org structure.
Before upgrading, it was working. This is the support packages that it was in.
SAP_ABAP: Level 9
SAP_BASIS: Level 9
PI_BASIS: Level 9
SAP_AP: Level 6
BBPCRM: Level 6
After the upgrade to the following,
SAP_ABAP: Level 10
SAP_BASIS: Level 10
PI_BASIS: Level 10
SAP_AP: Level 7
BBPCRM: Level 7
The assigning of business partner to a position no longer works.

we're facing exactly the same problem, it was all going well until we went on production.... we applied note 997009 which results in a different error... did you manage to find a solution yet ?

Organization structure R/3 sales office and group assignment

Hi,
I have a general question about the organizational structure in CRM.
When I try to assign an organization unit in the structure to the R/3 sales offices and sales groups in Function tab, the system is asking for a R/3 sales area together with sales office and group.
In our case a user can create sales orders for different sales areas. In other words the sales office and group is assigned to more than one sales area in SD customizing.
The problem is that if I assign any employees to an organization which is a sales group and which is assigned to a R/3 sales area + sales office + sales group, in this case the replicated document in SD can only be from one sales area, which is not applicable in our case.
How can we proceed? Any ideas?

Organizational structures must be defined in SAP to represent the structure of the organization. These structures can be defined independently for each functional area of the system. For example, the sales department will want to define sales organizations, distribution channels and divisions (product groups), while the purchasing department will want to define purchasing organizations, plants and storage locations. Independent of these structures, a structure must be defined in financial accounting (FI) that represents the legal reporting entity. This structure is represented by the company code. The balance sheet and the profit and loss statement are prepared for the company code.
Functional areas and organizational structures include:
Functional area Organizational structure
Sales and distribution -> Sales organization, distribution channel, division, sales area, ...
Financial accounting -> Company code, chart of accounts, business area, ...
Logistics -> Purchasing organization, purchasing group, plant, storage location,...
Controlling -> Controlling area, cost centre, profit centre, ...
Human resources -> Personnel area, employee group, employee subgroup, ...
General data that is used by all company codes is stored at a client level. This means that data valid for all functional areas needs to be stored only once (eg vendor name and address is stored at the client level whilst payment terms may vary for each company code).
Organizational structures can be used to control access to processing within the organization. For example, users can be restricted to process documents for their own company code only.

How to read IDOC in flafile structure into SAP to create PO

We have a requirement like, we will be provided with IDOC PO flatfile structures(Exactly same as IDOC,but in Dlafile format) .

We are getting error in MSS requisition in E recruiting system that 'No personnel number is assigned to your user in SAP E-recruiting '
while clicking on next button in the requisition form.We have assigned all specified roles for the E-rec related things with authorisation for 'P' and all
other objects.Please comment on this if anybody faced the same issue

Hi, just want to add to this issue might be useful for somebody else.
We had the same issue, it turns out that the person who is raising the requisition has 2 Business partners in the system. We set one business partner to be "not released" and in addition to that we added the NA relation as this is missing with the CP
MfG.
