Assigned ringtones not working

I have a 3gs (AT&T). Assigning a specific ringtone (whether custom or default with the phone) does not work. I have created a custom ringtone and can choose is as the default for all calls and it works fine as do any of the ringtones listed under sounds. I just cannot successfully assign a specific ringtone to a specific contact. Have reset; checked for duplicates; scoured the internet and found nothing that works. The phone software is current. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I found that the Task Manager by Rhythm Software was responsible for causing this problem. I removed the Task Manager and restarted my phone, and now I do not have a problem with assigned ringtones.

When your ATT account has caller ID block, in order to unblock the number so people can see your phone number you have to enter *82 in front of the phone number in contacts. In one of the first conversations I had with tech support I believe I mentioned this and was told that it should not cause a problem.
_**It does,_ if there is anything at all besides the phone number under the contact the phone will not recognize that the number has an assigned ring tone.
Also if you have the same number in contacts twice for any reason, (maybe a contact and under favorites) you have to delete the duplicate or assign the desired ringtone to all contacts. Otherwise the phone will ring the default ringtone, not the one you assigned.

It sounds like you have assigned ringtones to some of your contacts, but the customized tones aren't playing, and instead you get a default ring when they contact you. Any number of things can cause that issue, so I would recommend starting by quitting all the open apps on your phone, and then restarting it:

For incoming calls ringtone not working

My incoming calls are only identifiable with display to ANSWER or DECLINE. I. Can get vibrate to work but ringtones not working. I am missing many calls
because of no ring. I did shut down my Bluetooth earpiece so unsure what happened.

Try a reset first then if that does not work, you might want to restore.

Per my knowledge, if the task is created from a workflow, then you may use the task actions in the workflow.
And some task actions will send an email to the user who the task is assigned to, so the email is sent from the workflow and it is not sent from the option “Send email when ownership is assigned”.
If you are using 2013 workflow, the send email action cannot be prevented from the workflow.
If you are using 2010 workflow, you can go into the task process to delete the Send an Email action.

Ringtone not working

On my new Iphone 4S my custom ringtones will not work when assigned to a contact, the ring always rings through to the Marimba default ringtone.

Any luck? I have the same problem.
Apple please find what is wrong. I've read the whole Internet space without any solution

Sender Agreement - Assigned Users not work

Hi Experts,
I have a scenario SOAP - XI and I want to establish authorization to certain users. I am trying to assign user to the Sender Agreement but it does not work.
I am using in the URL the next prefix /sap/xi/engine?type=entry, but if I use the prefix /XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet, it works fine.
Is it possible to assign users to Sender Agreement using the prefix /sap/xi/engine?type=entry?

Hi,
There are two ways of sending a message to XI using SOAP Adapter. The first one is to the adapter engine via ./XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet. The second one is to the integration engine via propose URL. The first one will use the sender agreement because it is considered a java call but the second one will not (same with PlainHTTPAdapter).

Mp3 songs and ringtones not working

Hi all,
Just had a quick question. For some reason when I try to play ringtones and music on my blackberry 8100 it says unable to display file. When I set it as a ringtone it works but I cannot play any music as mp3 or open up pictures to view slideshows. When I first got the phone it was working but then all of a sudden it stopped. I'm not sure if I disabled something because I really cannot figure this out. Just wondering if you had any ideas or if anyone experienced this problem.

Account Assignment Trigger not Working

I'm working on Siebel Assignment Manager.. first I try to Assign Service Request to an Employee and in two Assignment mode (Batch and Dynamic) and it's work fine.
but when I try to assign Account to a Position, and I follow the same steps I followed before, the monitor work and the owner change depending on the Score and the Rule not working ...on the other hand the trigger (Dynamic) not working at all, and there is no change
I have searched to know where is the problem …and didn’t find solution
please help me ASAP

We got DOB in our Zview. But Customer search functionality is not working.

You may have a different problem than that of our friend here: it's probably a speck of dust or a piece of lint caught in the jack hole on the top part of your iPhone. Try this (and I'm not kidding, it's worked for me several times): bring the jack hole of your iPhone to your lips, and suck air through it. Do it several times, until you feel a little something hitting your tongue or the back of your mouth.
I know it sounds crazy, but I've had this same problem repeatedly since I got my iPhone in January; I'd keep my phone in my trousers pocket, and some tiny piece of lint would get caught in the jack hole, creating a false contact there and leading the phone to "think" that earphones were plugged in, hence no ringtone, nor music going through the external speaker. I read about this hint somewhere, and tried it just prior to bringing the phone back to the nearest Apple Store, and it worked. Now, every time my phone goes mute for no obvious reason, I suck air through the jack hole, and sure enough, it finds its voice back...

Does anyone else have this problem? All the downloaded ringtones wind up in my "music" file not in the default ringtone list. When I go into the music file and find the tone and say attach to contact, it says it did but when they call only the default ringer works. I had the same problem. I even returned my phone and got a new one because we thought it was the phone. VZW even placed a call to HTC with me on the line, and they had not heard of the issue either and suggested either repairing or replacing the phone.
What it turned out to be was an app killer I had installed on the phone. I forget which one, but its icon is the little green android figure with the red X next to it. Once I uninstalled the app killer, removed the battery from my phone and then rebooted it, I have had no further problems with my ring tones not working.
In the end, I bought the extended battery (3150) from www.seidioonline.com and now do not even need an app killer.

Custom contact ringtone not working correctly

Hi all! I have an iPhone 4 through Sprint. Yesterday I purchased a ringtone through iTunes on the phone, and assigned it to 1 contact. It shows as being assigned to that contact, however, when I get a call from that person, the default ringtone plays. I've since synced with iTunes on the computer, but I can't figure out why the assigned ringtone won't play. Can anyone help?

Does no one know how I can fix this?

OKB9-Internal order assignment is not working

I have an Requirment that whenever Billing document get posted data must flow to xxxxx Internal order.I assign the Internal order to cost element in OKB9.But not when posting billing document I cant see internal order in accounting or general ledger view.

If copa is active, revenue will post to copa. Okb9 is just a default and is used when no other cost object found
If you want biling to post only to Int order, assign it in your sales order account assignment tab
Note that in vkoa, you will need to maintain GL acct against Kofi and kofk both in that case
If you want it to post to both IO and copa, enter IO along with Prof segment in sales order

B/S Entries requires a Proft Center assignment - 3KEH not working

I'm getting an error when I'm trying to default a Profit Center on a FI transaction to B/S GL account. Following are the config settings that I have maintained. However when I look up the document, the profit center field is showing <blank>
1. For the B/S account, I maintained settings in Trx: 3KEH to deafult a Prf Center
2. I've changed the Profit center field to optional on the FS Grp of the B/S GL account
2a. When I try posting a transaction to this GL account, Profit center given in 3KEH is not being populated
3. I tried using a derivation rule by the GL account and Company Code to a default profit center in Trx: 3KEI.
3. The profit center is still not getting the default value (its showing blank) when I post a journal in FI to that Co Code and that GL Account.
Can anyone pls tell me if there are any additional settings required to get a Prf Center derived on the Balance Sheet entries

Im not sure I understand your point.
Here is what I'm looking to achieve.
I post a FI transaction on a Balance Sheet account say 1111.
I have a contra account for this posting say 2222.
Now whatever I post to account 1111, I want track the amount in a profit center as well (say PC1111) . I can achieve this by entering "PC1111" in the profit center field at the time of FI transaction posting. This would result in a PCA document.
What I'm looking to acheive is to default the value "PC1111" when ever I post to GL acct 1111. I tried doing this in Trx: 3KEH but it did not work for me.

Allocated Ringtones not working

I have several ringtones I have allocated to different contacts but when the phone rings it is always the default ringtone, not the one I picked

I believe this is a known issue with Apple.
One thing to take a look at, and this isn't my observation but another poster's, is what initially comes up when someone calls you. Sometimes what can happen is that when you first receive the call, it comes up as "Unknown" and then quickly switches over to your contact. So if the phone doesn't recognize the caller until it's too late, it'll play the default ringtone.

Contacts and Personal Ringtones not working correctly.

I have an iPhone 3G with the latest OS. Since I have upgraded to the latest OS, I have had problems with my contacts when I receive incoming calls. On some of my contacts, I will not see the assigned photo or hear the assigned personal tone, it instead shows the wallpaper and plays the default ringtone. But on other contacts I will see the correct photo and hear the assigned tone. The same contacts are affected by this so it is not randomly changing which contacts are affected. I have checked my sync options and I can see the info in my google contacts and I have completed a hard reset. Nothing I have been able to find in the forums has helped so far. Any ideas?

When your iPhone is plugged into iTunes, go to the Ringtones tab and make sure the radio button is checked that will synch all ringtones. Synch your phone and they should be back.
