Assigning a subscreen to a standard tab page

In transaction CIC0,in worklist list tab clicking on the entry in search result ALV will naviagate to transaction tab .My requiremnt is i want to show a different subscreen instead of the screen shown in transaction tab by the standard.How can I call different subscreen instead of the screen called by standard.The standard code is dynamically finding the subscreen to be called. where I have to make the settings for the subscreen to be called ?

You can drag an history item as well (e.g. from the history sidebar), so yuo do not need to bookmark a website.

It is based on the configuration settings that you have maintained in SPRO:Go to the transaction OIOS or following the path:

These Indicators could be used for Reporting Purposes in IW 38, you could view how many planned orders, unplanned orders and Immediate Orders were there.

Hi SK,
It looks both the tabs are custom ones. In that case, you can either use Export/Import statement or you can use Set/Get Parameter ID for setting value.
If one is standard subscreen, you can export value from custom subscreen and use line item level user-ext/enhancement to assign the value on standard subscreen.

Change standard start tab page element

Hi Guys,
right now, when i start up an tab page group the tab "acvitity" is set as default start up tab page. But i want to have an other one for example "relations", as the start up tab page. Where do I have to do the settings.

I already worked with the sequence. But it does not work. The seqeuence is already in the right order.
Do I have to check the bluebrint table "define applicatoin layout". There is the event init - once for the first page load, another init call for the result list and the third is calling the fieldgroup, which is assigned to the tab page, which is called (standard). Do I have to check the entrees there? I tried to change the fieldgroup but it did not work.
Does anybody has an other idea? This can't be too hard, but i don't find the maintance for this.

Associate 2 Standard Tab Sets to the same application page

Can you associated 2 Standard Tab Sets to the same application page and only have one of the Standard Tab Sets display based on an item value on that application page?

Hi Dan,
to my knowledge you can't do that, because you can only assign one tab set with the page property "Standard Tab Set".
But how about just creating one tab set where you conditionally display the tabs which are matching?

How to create tab on a standard OAF page

There is a requirement to create a tab on a standard page containing multiple tabs. We have already three tabs on the page 'Header', 'Lines', 'Controls' and we want to add one more tab to that page.
Is this possible through personalizations or please let us know if there is any other way to achieve this functionality?

Every time I open a new tab, it no longer goes to the standard "you've opened a new tab" page, but to a searchwebsite of Babylon. How do I fix this?

Req Assignment Tab page not coming for Service order

         I am working on simple service order SM01 type scenario. where in i am entering the operation & time for the same.
Now when i am going in to operation detail screen . I am not able to find out the requirement assignment tab page.
Strangely when i am using same reference object & creating the Maintenance order PM01 & doing the same as above it is showing the req assignment tab page.

Hi , I have found out the solution for the same.
I have found that the external scheduling flag is
set for order type SM01 in customizing. Since this is set, requirement
assignment tab will not be populated as this will be taken care
externally.
Remove the flag in below customising path.
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service--Maintenance and Service ProcessingMaintenance and Service Orders-Scheduling--External Scheduling--Define for Each Order Type
Once this flag is removed for order type SM01, this tab will appear
for service orders.

Standard tabs - Burned into the page?

Suppose there is an application with dozens of pages, one standard tabset with a bunch of tabs, all the pages are attached to tabset (default page template One Level Tabs)
I would like to conditionally display one of the pages without any tabs on it because it also functions as a standalone page.
Seems like this is not very easy to do. Yes, I can go to each of the tabs and conditionally hide them but that is too difficult to maintain.
Is there a easy way to hide the entire tabset from one place? The tabset is part of the page attributes (like the template) so this seems not possible.
Am I missing something? If not, please consider this an enhancement request for the next release.

It's pretty easy actually.
Copy the One Tab page template.
Replace the #TAB_CELLS# with an unused #REGION_POSITION_0N# in my example I used #REGION_POSITION_07#
Copy the snippets from that page template for your current and non current tabs (into your favorite text editor).
Create Named Row report template. (using the tab snippets you just saved off to the side).
For the first row of your named row template put in the html code for your current tab. Use the pl/sql conditional to figure out what makes it current (page number, item value whatever)
For the second row just put in the code for your non current tab.
Create a Report Region with no region template in the #REGION_POSITION_0N# that you replaced the #TAB_CELLS# with.
Create your report sql , make sure to alias your link and display columns to "TAB_LABEL" and "TAB_LINK" set the report template to the Named Row Template you created, set the pagination to none and !bamn! there you go.

It actually much more powerful than the built in tabs and is really nice because you can create as many tab types as you want not just current and non current.
Or provide specific images, styles, classes, or even custom tab html per tab as all you need to do is query it in.
Like I said it's my new favorite.

How to add new tab page to equiment ?

Dear Guru's
i created the new equipement category K by coping the standard S.when i am creating the equipment while using equipment category S i am getting tab pages General,Location,organization,structure,Sales and Distribution.
But while using the equipment category K for creating the new equipment i am getting the tab pages General,Location,organization,structure 4 only.
why the 5 one Sales and Distribution is not coming ?
how to add new tab page like Partners ?In that fields like sold to party,ship to party ?

In Equipment category creation config in IMG, check for the View Profile for both the equipment category S & K.
For adding new tab, follow the IMG path.
PM & CS => Master data => Technical Objects => General Data => Set view profiles for Technical objects
Select the View profile which has been assigned to your equipment category & click Activity & layouts of views. In that screen, under seq.no, select the Partners.
Do the same for other requried tabs based on your requirement.
If there are same profile assigned to both equipment category, go to equipment creation creation => Edit => view selection. There you will find the required tabs.

Reference object data update in Location tab page of order

Hello
When a reference object in notification/order is changed, the location and account assignment data is updated in order location data by standard settings in SAP but any changes to the master data of the existing reference object is not changed in Notification/Order location tab page.
But there is an option that when you change the data in the technical object and you need the same to be reflected in order location data for which this order has the reference object, we can use the functionality of clicking the right mouse in object list and so the data will be updated in notification/order.
Please explain how to carry out this step "of clicking the right mouse in object list and so the data will be updated in notification/order"..
I have changed the Location data/Account assignment data of techincal object in its master data and now i want that to reflect in Work order.
How to achieve this??

Hi,
Keep the cursor in Equipment field & right click the mouse. You can find the option Update Reference Object Data.
Select that option, you will get updated details in the Notification / order.

Custom tab page in transaction PPOME

Hi,
I have added one custom tab page in the tcode PPOME.
I created one custom infotype 9988 and followed the steps given in
IMG .
I can see the tab page in PPOME but when i click on the tab page, the tab
page contains a message as NO SUBSCREEN FOUND.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

see the steps and do it again and see
Steps to create a HR Infotype:
1) Go to Transaction PM01.
2) Enter the custom Infotype number which you want to create (Should be a 4 digit number, start with 9).
3) Select the 'Employee Infotype' radio button.
4) Select the 'PS Structure Infotype'.
5) Click on Create... A separate table maintenance window appears...
6) Create a PS structure with all the fields you want on the Infotype
7) Save and Activate the PS structure
8) Go back to the initial screen of PM01.
9) Click on 'All' push button. It takes a few moments.
10) Click on 'Technical Characteristics'. Infotype list screen appears
11) Click on 'Change'(pencil) button
12) Select your Infotype and click on 'Detail' (magnifying glass) button
13) Give 'T591A' as subtype table
14) Give 'T591S' as subtype txt tab
15) Give your subtype field as subtype field
16) Save and come back to PM01 initial screen
17) Click on 'Infotype Characteristics' ... Infotype list screen appears
18) Click on 'Change' (pencil) button
19) Click on 'New Entries'
20) Enter your Infotype number and short text
21) Here we have to set different Infotype Characteristics as per the requirement. (Better open another session with some standard Infotype's infotype characteristics screen and use as the reference to fill yours)
22) Save your entries.
23) Now the Infotype is created and ready to use.
24) If you want to change the layout of the Infotype as per your requirement...
25) In the PM01 initial screen...Select 'Screen' radio button and give 2000 as the screen name, then click on edit.
26) In the next screen.. Select 'Layout Editor' and click 'Change'.
27) Screen default layout appears...here you can design/modify the screen..change the attributes of the fields..etc.
28) Save and activate. (Don't forget to 'Activate at every level)
Subtype Creation :
Transaction PM01 Goto Subtype Characteristics. Click on Append and then subtype. Enter the name and description of subtype on screen.
Then goto technical Characteristics and maintain the details of subtype there. I.e name of subtype i.e. component name defined in PSnnnn. Subtype table is T591A.
Subty.text tab is T591S and time const tab is T591A.

Add a new tab in an existing Tab Page Group

Hi All,
I have already added a tab in the existing Tab Page Group, the tab is appearing on the screen along with the rest of the standard tabs but i am unable to get the field group under the customized tab page.
For that we have created a Zstructure and assign it to the Zfield group.
With that we have also created a Zevent and add it to the Tab Page Group.
And then we linked the Zevent along with the field group with our application under the navigation "Define Application Layout".
We are working on the application : COMM_IBASE
Tab Page Group : IBA_GET_NF
Do we need to customise any Standard class ?
Please suggest on the same.

Add fields into a new tab page

Hi!
   I am in cProject 4.0 and there is a functionality to add new tab pages with fields in cProject components. The IMG activity is Collaboration Projects -> Global Enhancements to Project Elements -> Show Additional Tab Page in cProjects.
   The help for this activity specified that I only need customized it to works as well. It does not specified if I have to develop some extra BSP or webdynpro to work. I tried to put a new field in a new tab page in Project Definition, but only the new tab was showed. The new tab is empty.
   I know that in cProject 3.0 it was necessary a BSP development. Is it necessary develop a BSP in 4.0 too?

I created my own Web Dynpro Aplication and assigned it in the customizing from cProjects.
My aplication use fields the others tables (Z) and fields from table DPR_PROJECT (enhance CI_DPR_PROJECT). So, the logic to read and write my Z tables is working, but my problem is How Can I update the fields from CI_DPR_PROJECT structure ?
I imagine that I need to read the container from UI standard, but until the moment I can't resgate these values. In customizing is that if I use the fields from CI_DPR_PROJECT the update will be automatically.

Rearrange tab pages in t-code IW21

Hi,
I would like to change the order of tab pages in maintenance notification ( iw21). I have tried to change the order in the standard configuration for the notification but the system rearranges them according to the numerical codes assigned to the tab pages in the ascending order.
So, I would like to know if it is possible with some development.
Pl. let me know if you have further queries on this.

I do agree with you that we can add or delete tab pages and some sub screens also in SPRO. But there is no provision given in the standard configuration to rearrange the order of tab pages. Every tab page is assigned a default code.
For eg. 10\TAB01,10\TAB02,10\TAB03 etc. and the tabs are displayed accordingly in the same order.
Now, if I want the order to be 10\TAB03,10\TAB01,10\TAB02, system is rearranging itself after saving in the ascending order.
