Assigning Subject to Transaction Type-SDCR

Hi,
I want to assign subject 'Urget Correct(Maintenence)' only to Change Request(SDCR).
When we create Chnage Request, subject 'Urget Correton' should appear by default.
Currently in Subject I can see following options:
Development(Implementation)
Administration(Implementation)
Urgnt Correction(Maintenence)
Normal Correction(Maintenence)
Administration(Maintenence)
Development Activity(Template)
Administration(Template)
Development Activity(Upgrade)
Administration(Upgrade)
Can anybody tell me how to assign specific subject to ugent correcton-SDHF.
Regards
Praveen K

Hi PK,
You need to do the scenario specific configuration in SPRO. Create a new subject profile out of your standard subject profile for SDCR, which you can customize as per your requirement. The path will be SPRO-> SAP REf IMG-> SAP Solution Manager-> scenario Specific Settings->Change Request Management->Extended configuration->Change Transaction->Transaction Types.
Here you do the configuration for everything which you want in the particular transaction types, including your subject profile, action profile, etc. Here you can copy the standard ones to customize it as per your requirements,
Let me know if you need any more help on this,

Sneha,

  • Assigning Categories to Transaction Types

    Dear Colleagues,
I have assigned 2 Categories to Transaction Type SDCR.
But when I am creating change Request with reference to SLFN  ( through actions-Change Document), its carrying the SLFN category code to SDCR.
So because of this In SDCR  three categories ( 2 are mapped with SDCR & 1 extra carried from Support mesage) are appearing.
I don't want this extra category which is coming from support message in SDCR.

    Hi,
    In the following path
SAP Solution Manager> Scenarion specific Settings>Change Request Management>Extended Configuration>Change Transaction> Change Transaction Types>Copy control for Change Request Management->Define Mapping Rules for Copy Control.
I have unchecked the column 'Copy Cat' for SLFN. This solved the issue.
Do you know for SDCR which SP (source procedure) type  I have to uncheck. Because for SDCR multiple rows are their.
    For SLFN only one entry.

  • Custom Transaction Types, Subject Profiles etc...

    Hi all,
Did anyone worked on custom Transaction Type on SDCR?
I know that this is CRM specific stuff to configure, but want to check what are the implications in modifying exisiting SDCR..  Well, in the meanwhile, we need to work on custom Code Groups, Subject Profiles etc..
What is the impact on upgrades if we modify the SAP defined Transaction Types SDCR?
Please correct me if I am wrong in my approach.
    Response is greately appreciated.
    Regards,
    Mike.

    Thanks for response.
I tried to copy and modify the subject profiles, catalogs etc.  I could able to create Change Request with the custom transaction type, but not able to authorize the change request.  And I am using SAP defined action profile for custom transaction type.
And also little bit confused how to attach the custom change request to support message (we need to select the action item "create change document").  It seems there are lot of modifications to be done all the way from support message to urgent/normal correction.
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Mike.

  • Assigning the SAP CRM 7sales transaction type to view in WEB UI?

    Hi CRM Experts,
Can anyone show me th path or TCode, where the Business transaction types (Leads, Quotation and orders) are assigned in the backend of SAP CRM to reflect the same in the front end i.e.,  WEB UI?
    Would appreciate responding  ASAP.
    Regards
    Succhi

Yes, as Jan said, this is done in basic customaziong of transaction types under spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>define transaction types. There you define for each transaction type the Transaction Category that it is using. Like for lead it is BUS2000108, for opportunity it is BUS2000111 and for quotations and orders it is BUS2000115. Quotations and orders have the same transaction category but then it depends on the customization of item categories that are assigned to the transaction type if they behave as order or as quotation.

    Hi Venkat,
what is understand from your error messages are
    1. The status profile is not configured properly or assigned.
    2. The subject profile is not configured properly or assigned to the transaction type.
    3. You need to enter an activity partner in the transaction and even if you do not enter the trnsaction saves with error.
4.You have maintained the text as mandatory and you did not enter any text in that area.
I still did not undersatnd your partner function ORG field!!
You meant that you are not able to get the org unit determined in the transaction or what?
Please if you can be more clear as to what your are trying to do and what your requirement is then the forum will be quick to help you.

  • Problem about creating asset transaction type

I  created an asset transaction type with AO76 to deal with the  apportionment of asset expenses which was created in the year before yesteryear. But the user demands an account assigned to the transaction type .Then I checked the configuration. It seems t-code AO85 can only realize the relationship between asset classes and accounts.
So what should I do to realize this? Thanks!

or if you still want to achieve it. Go for substitution. make the Gl account the substitutable field and then define a rule saying that, if the transaction type is ' ', then the gl account is ' '

  • IM - AA - auc / Transaction Type 116 should be divided in 3 parts

We can link all AA transaction types with Cognos flow except for 3 Cognos flows:
    300 Acq. Subsidaries
    301 Acq. 3rd party
    340 Own construction
Why this Cognos flows can not be assigned to AA transaction types:
ERP process of acquiring new assets is using investment module. This means that all acquisitions for assets are first posted on Investment order (measure) and latter settled to assets (monthly settlement on Asset under construction (AUC) and final settlement on fixed asset in use).
Standard Sap functionality always uses only one type of AA transaction to make this settlement.
In the case of settlement to AUC = 116
    In the case of final settlement = 331, 336, 338, 339
(in this case we don't have control which one is used). Since transfer of values between AuC and final asset is not reported to Cognos we don't have any GAP (issue) for this.
This means that every acquiring transfer for assets gets 116 AA TTY. For the Cognos reporting this transaction should be divided in 3 parts:
    1. Acq. Subsidaries
    2. Acq. 3rd party
    3. Own construction
Way to fill the gap :
Enhancement should be developed which should substitute AA TTY 116 with appropriate AA TTY.
This can be based on the type of posting posted to Investment order.
For the Cognos flow 301 Acq. 3rd party:
This posting can be identified in the following way. Vendor invoice was posted on Investment order for a vendor which is not affiliated company (trading partner field empty). When making the order settlement this posting should get 100 AA TTY.
For the Cognos flow 300 Acq. Subsidaries:
This posting can be identified in the following way. Vendor invoice was posted on Investment order for a vendor which is affiliated company (trading partner field filled in the posting). When making the order settlement this posting should get Z10 AA TTY (this TTY has to be created).
For the Cognos flow 340 Own construction:
This posting can be identified in the following way. The posting did not come to the investment order from vendor invoice posting but from the settlement of production order to investment order. When making the order settlement this posting should get 110 AA TTY. Note: it should be checked if there are also other postings (like Goods receipt, Goods receipt for production order) that can be posted to investment order as part of own construction and how they can be identified. Perhaps we can just make a rule, if the posting did not come from vendor it is in house production.
    Thanks for you help.

    look forward to answer

  • AR : Transaction Types

    Hello folks
Why should I define transaction types in the following order?
These are separate entry in the transaction window.
So why the document says about the “following order”.
    Pls advice me.
    *• Credit memo transaction types*
*• Invoice, debit memo, and chargeback transaction types*
    *• bills receivable transaction types*
    *• Commitment transaction types*
    Thanks, Raghu.K

Because you can assign the credit transaction types to invoice transaction type.this transaction type (credit) is derived for transaction when credited.
    Thanks

  • To assign smartform for bid invetation to transaction type of BidInvitation

    Hi friends!
Could you tell me if it is possible assign output format(BBP_BID_INVITATION) for bid invetation to transaction type of Bid Invitation?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
You need to implement the BADI  BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF
There you can implement the logic that you need for your business process, for example:
You have different transaction types for BID INVITATION (ZXX1, ZYY1, ZWW1) and you want to use different smartforms for each one, then you need
    1. Create the different smartforms with the transaction SMARTFORMS (for the bid invitation you can make a copy from the standar smartform BBP_BID_INVITATION which includes the structures and tables for the bid invitation then you don´t need to create a complete smartform)
    2. Implement the BADI BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF with the transaction se18 or se19 or SPRO --> Supplier Relationship Management --> Cross aplication Basic Data --> Business Ad Ins (BadIs) --> Document Output --> Change Forms for document Output.
there you need to implement your own Ligic, use the method and parameters as i mention below.
    Method: CHANGE_FORMS
    Parameter: CV_SMARTFORM
    Parameter: CV_SMARTFORM_MAIL
    Parameter:CV_SUBJECT_MAIL
    Code Example:
    DATA: wa_header_bid     TYPE          bbp_pds_header.
    For getting the document
      CALL FUNCTION 'BBP_PROCDOC_GETDETAIL'
        EXPORTING
          i_guid         = iv_guid
        i_object_id    =
          i_object_type  = iv_object_type
        IMPORTING
          e_header       = wa_header_bid.
IF iv_object_type = 'BUS2200'   Bus for the Bid Invitation
      IF wa_header_bid-process_type = 'ZXX1'.
           cv_smartform = 'smartform name 1'.
cv_smartform_mail = 'text body for the email 1'.
cv_subject_mail = 'text subject for the mail 1'.
       ELSEIF wa_header_bid-process_type = 'ZYY1'.
                      cv_smartform = 'smartform name 2'.
cv_smartform_mail = 'text body for the email 2'.
cv_subject_mail = 'text subject for the mail 2'.
                ELSEIF wa_header_bid-process_type = 'ZWW1'.
                         cv_smartform = 'smartform name 3'.
cv_smartform_mail = 'text body for the email 3'.
cv_subject_mail = 'text subject for the mail 3'.
        ENDIF.
    ENDIF.
    That's all

  • Sales Area assignment to Transaction Type.

    Dear all,
We are using SAP CRM 5.0and am in the process of rolling out CRM Sales to a new Company of us.
I have defined the Organization Management in C21 System and completed the Assignment of Sales Area to the Transaction Types in Development landscape.
Now i need to move the settings to QA landscape.
As the assignment of Sales area is a transportable object, i transported the same to QA landscape but the organization number ranges which has been created in QA landscape are different,
how do you I bring same Organization Number to QA landscape from Development as it is not a transportable object?
It is the only way to Change the system settings in SCC4 and change the settings manually.
Kindly give me your inputs how to go ahead.

  • Transaction type + account assignment

    Helllo!!
How could I assign account that I need, to new transaction type that I have created?
For example, I have created tr.type XXX and would like postings with this tr. type to acconts Debit44444-Credit777777 and not to Debit 111111-Credit22222 as it is by default. In AO90 for this class I have accounts 444444 and 777777, not 11111/22222.

You cannot assign GL accounts to the T-types. From AO90 account determination it will take the GL accounts based on the transaction processed and T-type determines what kinda transaction it is i.e. acquisition, retirement, etc.

  • What type of license should the user be assigned when passing transactions through the DI Server?

What type of license should the user be assigned when passing transactions through the DI Server?
We used to assign indirect access licenses to users that were just using the DI Server.  We have one add-on developer that says that the user has to be a Profession license. Current environment is SAP B1 9.0 PL10.  My understanding was that you could have up to 10 users assigned to a single DI Server license.

    Hi,
    From the license guide,
Indirect Access – has access to any SSP solutions (developed with the SAP Business One DI-API) only. The Indirect Access license is bundled with the DI server. Users who have an Indirect Access license can access a limited number of application forms, but cannot perform any functions with the SAP Business One application. Users who have an Indirect Access license can access an unlimited number of SSP solutions
