Assigning user status to order type

There is an query. Can I assign 2 user statuses to an order type?

Hi Mohit,
A user status is activated by the user and can be created as an addition to the existing system status. You can define and
activate any number of user statuses. To define a user status, you need to have created a status profile, which is created per order type in Customizing

i have a question i have 1000 materials in my organization using by 5 company codes in that few material i need to assign profit center so i went to mm change and assigned the profit center for sales:general/plant and plant data/stor.2, if i want to assign profit center to order type how can i assign, if i cannot assign in order type i need to assign profit center in mm change for 500 materials, so if i change manually in mm change for 500 materials is it going to effect for the other company code when they post the transactions please give me your opinions.

Dear Kumar
Go to VA02, input the sale order reference and execute. There double click on the line item and select the tab "Account Assignment". There you can see the field "Profit Center".
As I said in your other thread, if you have generated subsequent documents like delivery or billing, you cannot change this for that line item. You have to close this line item by assigning "Reason for Rejection", and create a new line item but then, b4 doing this, you should have changed the profit center in material master.
Alternatively, if you want to update in bulk, go to T.Code MASS, input "BUS2032" in Object Type and execute. There select "Sales Order Item Data" and click on "Fields".
Select the field name "MASSVBAP-PRCTR" and execute. Either you can input the sale order references for which you would like to change or just execute.
Now you will have a screen "New Values" on top and below the existing sale orders listed. Give the new profit center against the field "New Values" and execute.

USer status in order

Hi,
In the order CO02 :
My customer need when selecting the user status Z0001 and save, the system re-edit automaticaly the production order and also the order confirmation from the customer order attached to my production order.
How can we do this?

I think using user status only this will not possible, you need to check the enhancements. Becuse production order user status only control the function of the production order.

User status for order confirmation

Dear Expert
My requirement is when system status for maintenance order is CNF and authorize person agreed with all data in confirmation, he will set user status and then only I can complete my order (Teco).
Till now I created one user status OCAP (operation conf aprroved. ) and I allowded TECO only at this status. when system will have any other user status TECO is forrbiden. and it is working fine.
but now if my order is not CNF and person approves order(select OCAP) system allow to do TECO.
How I can stop this?
I mean if order status is not CNF even person select any user status system should not allow for TECO. If both condition are correct then only system will allow for TECo.

No default USER STATUS in order with radio buttons

Hi friends,
We want to have 4 user status in PM order with radio buttons so that
user can choose only one at a time.But by default after creating order
No user status should be defaulted.Only it should display when user
selects one.
I have tried in SPRO but for radio buttons it selects one as default
automatically.
Is there any alternative.

I know this is standard only.But client's requirement is like this.
All the four status are like that we can choose only one
like PASS FAIL.
Now these two can not be set together.

Setting System status on assigning User status

We can change the user status by changing the system status ...
is there some work around to change a system status e.g REL on Setting a User Status .. ?

SRP0 - Project Systems -> Structures ->Operative structures -> Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) -> Maintain Substitutions.

Item User Status - Sales Order

1- The cancellation item is created with reference to an existing line item on Sales Order. How is done?
2- I would like to see the original item have its status for both delivery and billing changed to completed and have its overall status completed as long as a PO is created. I don't know how to do that...

Assigning User Exit for Substitution type 003 - OBBH

Hi Gurus,
I have created a Sustitution for the complete document i.e type 003 for replacing Assingment Field with PO number during MIRO.
I have copied the standard program RGGB000 in to Z.. add my user eixt and have written the code. But i dont know how and where to assign the user exit that i hav created.

Dear Amit,
Do these settings to copy the sales order text to the invoice.First you need to copy the sales order text to the delivery document from the delivery document you can copy the text to the billing document.
To copy the sales order text to the delivery document
You do the text determination for the deliveries also,define and maintain same TextId in teh delivery header text procedure ,maintain the access sequence ,in the delivery text procedure access sequence you put the Text Object as VBBK for that Text ID.
To copy the delivery text to the invoice.
You mentioned that you already done the text determination for the billing document so just do this single setting.
Go to VOFA transaction then selct billing document type then go in to the details screen here you do the check in the Delivery Text check Box (Top most bottom of the screen.)
Now you can able to copy the sales order text to the invoice.

In addition to Narasimhan & Wendy told, follow these steps
Activities
1. create authorization keys in BS52
2. Create User Statuses & assign to Maintenance Order Object types in OIBS
3. Assign the authorization key to one or more user statuses in your status profile.
4. Assign these User Statuses to Order Types in OIOG
5. Define corresponding authorizations and include them in the relevant authorization profiles.
6. Assign these Authorisation Profiles to the User groups in SU01 under Profiles sub screen.

User status profiles for work orders and sub-orders

Hi Experts,
I have the following question regarding status profiles for SAP PM work orders (but I guess it relates to all user status profiles).
Customizing
A status profile is defined for order type "PM_A", which contains an authorization key "OP" for certain user states (to be set by the ordering party)
Situation
The ordering party A creates an order of type PM_A for contractor B, and B then creates a sub-order of type PM_A for contractor C
Problem
- If I assign the authorization key "OP" only to roles of party A, then party B can't set the user states reserved for the ordering party (correct for the order A->B, but not for the sub-order B->C)
- If I assign the authorization key "OP" to roles of party A and party B, then B could set certain user states reserved for the ordering party in the order A->B, which is also wrong
Question
Is there a way to restrict sub-orders differently than "non-sub-orders", or do I have to create a "sub-order order-type" for each order type, in order to assign them different status profiles and authorization keys?

since you have 3 roles to be assigned to the same order type with different authorization ,it is better you create an seperate order type for sub order and assign the user status with authorization for B and C

Please check have you define Status profile and status in T code OIBS ? , and for object like PM order whether you have assigned it to your defined order type in T code OIOG ?
and for equipment check in SPRO Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service >> Technical Objects >> Equipment >>Assign User Status Profile to Equipment Category.

Activation of User status for Prod. order

As told by Ajay , after assigning Status Profile in OPJH you can assign User Status to production order as below:
Pls. go through the following procedure for activating the User Status :
Activating User Statuses
Use
You can activate a user status at order header and at operation level.
Procedure
Order Header Level
Go to the order header.
Choose .
Choose Edit ® Direct entry.
The system displays a dialog box in which you can select the permitted user statuses.
Position the cursor on the required user status and choose Choose .
Operation Level
Go to the operation overview.
Select the operation in question.
Choose .
Choose Edit ® Direct entry.
The system displays a dialog box in which you can select the permitted user statuses.
Position the cursor on the required user status and choose Choose .
Pls. follow the above procedure as per rquirement and set user status accodingly.

Settlement Strategy Sequence assignment to Order type

Customized settlement strategy sequence are created in KSR2_ORC
and assigned to internal order types in KSR3_ORC
It is not allowing to assign to plant maintenance order types.
Anyway it is possible to assign to PM01 order types ?
