RRI: Problem in Query to R/3 Transaction picking up all passed values.

We are having a problem with a jump query to R/3. We have BW 3.5
and ECC 5.0. The query successfully jumps to our R/3 transaction
(GD13 - Display Special Purpose Ledger) but it does not
prepopulate all of the fields in the GD13 selection parameters.
Our query in BW has results for both account and group account
fields, but only the account field prepopulates. Our users see
more importance in having the group account prepopulate. I have
tried specific field assignments in BW (transaction RSBBS). I
also tried to do a SAP repair and add a parameter ID to element
ALTKT on the R/3 side for the group account. But it did not seem
to help. After assigning parameter ID to R/3 side, I did not do
anything more on the BW side other than assign the parameter ID
to the assignment fields in RSBBS - report to report interface.
Does anybody have any suggestions or have ideas on further

Have you activated the ITS?
If you are using web reports, the R/3 Transaction will open with the help of ITS

RRI to a Transaction me23 in R/3

Hi,
I have to implement an RRI from BW report to an R/3 ME23 transaction. In the BW report I have an I/O 'Object key' which refers to the R/3 field 'OBJKY' of the NAST table. I have done all the settings in the RSBBS like -
1.sender-receiver assignment and choose Assignment Details & for the field assignments i have selected Type as table field, field name as OBJKY, selection type as parameter, data element & domain as NA_OBJKEY corresponding to OBJKY, but with these selections also the query to r/3 transaction jump is not working...
I am unable to give the get/set parameter in RSBBS assignment cause this field in nast doesnt have Parameter ID !
Pls guide...

Hi,
My requirement was to go to the specific Purchase Order in MN23N. Following is the settings I had to make in the Assignment Details of RSBBS for the RRI to work:
InfoObject: 0OI_EBELN
Type: 3 Table Field
Field Name: EBELN (Corresponding R3 field)
Selection Type: *
Required: TRUE
Data Element: EBELN (Corresponding R3 field)
Domain: CHAR 10 (Got this info by looking at the InfoObject)
SET/GET Parameter: BES (Got this info by doing an F1 on the field in the WebGUI)

RRI using Tcode in source system giving error

Hi,
I am trying to run a report in BW in tcode RSRT using RRI mechanism and the same is throwing an exception - An error occurred with the report to report interface during the jump. The same when run in BExAnalyzer throws an error "A critical error occured".
The selections I have applied are as under:
Target system -> Source System(ECC)
Report Type -> Transaction
Report Destination -> ME2L
Assignments as under:
0DOC_NUM -> EBELN
Any trace to the cause of the error would be helpful.

Try creating a program in source whihc calls t-code ME2L and then from RRI try to call the program., and also check if you have authorization to t-code RSRR_WEB &RSBBS_WEB in you source system,
If this did not help give us more detial on the error you are faceing.

BI Statistics Query - RRI Issue

Hi Experts,
I have copied a BI Statistics querys and customized it. The RRI Options available for the original query are available for the copied query as well. However, I do not want to keep all of them.
When i checked the T.code RSBBS for the copied query and the original statistics query , it does not show any receivers.Please let me know how I can change the RRI options for the copied query.

This is what we do for a normal RRI,Chnage accordingly as per requirement.
The steps to create RRI
1)Goto T code RSBBS
2)In the Sender Query -give the Query name
3)Press Create tab which is there on the Right Top
4)It will as for a list select the Query name in the Bottom
5)and Press OK.
6)Come back to the main Screen os RSBBS and Select the Receiver Query and click Assignments.
7)Make them objects as Delete.
8)Save and Execute the Query ,Sender Query.
9)Right Click on the Query ,we will find GOTO Tab ,Drill down further
we can view the Second Query.
10)we can view the Second Query through first query

RRI variable screen problem

Hi Gurus,
I am facing a problem here I am using RRI there in RSBBS I have included two queries in One query. After I excuted query when I am trying to navigate to the another query which I have included it is giving me the variable screen i.e input selection screen.
I dont want to the variable screen to appear it should pich the characterstic on which I go for GOTO it should pick automatically.
How can I solve this?

In ur RSBBS-Assigments
The Infoobjcts shud be avaliable in both the Queries.
The objects for which u want to jump shud be avaliable as Input Variable ,in the assignments Make the same infoobjects which u want to jump from Query one to Query two as
TYPE-Infoobject instead of Generic.In the Field give as object name-Tech Name,say 0CUSTOMER,Selection Type as Paramters.
Come bak if u still have issues.

RRI - Selection was not Restrcited

Hi All,
   While jumping from BEX report to R/3 transaction MB51
I get this warning stating " Selection was not Restrcited" .
What could be the problem?

you are trying to run MB51 with no selection.
In BW, in the RRI settings, screen 'maintain Sender/Receiver Assignment', you have a button
"Assignments Details" where you can do the link between the infoobject and the R/3 field.
If you are using the 100% of the business content(infoobject, update rule, infosource....), the mapping should not be mandatory. Otherwise you have to do it :
For example, the field material in MB51 has
Parameter ID     MAT
Screen field     MATNR-LOW.
With Se11 you can find data element, domain.
You can see this in help of the field in R/3 (F1-F9)
You have to map for infoobject material with the R/3 fields.

RRI Jump problem

This is regarding the RRI jump.
I am trying to jump from a report to a transaction. All the assignments are made to be generic. Now the problem is that when I try to execute this jump I get a warning stating that Selection for InfoObject cannot be uniquely assigned.
What is the problem and how do I proceed?

Hi Nitin,
check the 'Detailed Mapping' button in the Sender/Receiver assignment. For further information about the different mapping option, please have a look at the online documentation.
If this mapping does not suit your needs, you might also check the Invert routine in the transfer rules. Yet, normally you should get it to work with alternative 1.

RRI values in WAD

Hi,
    We have created the pie chart on the product query in the WAD 7.0,
    Product query is linked with Customer WAD template(3.5) by using RRI.
    After executing the pie chart i will check the goto option by selecting the particular product in the pie chart,but here customer template is displaying all the customer.
we like to see only the customer related to particular product i had selected in the pie chart.
Please suggest here.

In transaction 'RSBBS', where you create the assignment between the 'Sender' and 'Receiver', select the 'Receiver' query and click on 'Assignment Details'.
In the 'Field Assignments', for the 'Customer' field select the 'Selection Type' as 'Parameter' and also select the 'Required Entry' check box. This will ensure that only one customer value is passed on to the 'Receiver'

Delete RRI assignment

Hi,
I set up some RRI assignments but then deleted some of the queries before updating the RRI. Now I can't open it because queries are missing. I need to delete the assignments so I can get back in there.

RRI in WAD...pass values

Hello Gurus,
I have gone thru many threads but couldnt find the same scenario so posting this question. I have developed a RRI and it works fine is BEX analyzer as well as in WAD. But when I open the main query in WAD, and jumping to child query, it asks me to enter the value of variables again for the child query. I am using the same variables in parent and child queries. In RSBBS, I have set assignments to Generic for all the fields. Is there any specific setting we need to check in WAD template so that it accepts all the variables properly in child query? Pls help me urgently......

Thanks Gill and SVU123. Actually I am jumping from Web templ to query. I am using 2 structures for row and column. It is a finance query. It seems we cannot transfer variable values from structure to Structure. My Parent and child query fileds are exactly same but in child query, I have couple of more characteristics in row. I tried same kind of jump queries for other regular queries and it is working fine. Pls let me know if I can jump with the same variable values for the structure fields.

How to remove child query link from parent query for RRI

Long back we have created one RRI report(which is having parent child relation).Currently i wanted to remove this link or relation (i.e remove child report) between them.
I tried From t-code RSBBS but i could n't. Please give me some inputs to fix this.

RRI from one query to another

Hello All,
We have searched the forums and can find information/posts about RRI, but still can't seem to figure out our problem.
Sender query and Receiver query are identical except for:
1. We have 0INFOPROV filetered to hit the correct cube for each query
2. Sender query has 'CHAR1' filter = X and this 'CHAR1' doesn't exist in the receiver query
3. Key Figures are different from sender and receiver
4. Rows are identical except receiver has 1 additional characteristic (more detail)
Variables are same for each query. We have set the 1 additional char in the receiver query to delete and it still doesn't work in assignment details.
When we get our first query output, if we select an individual order number we get no data in the drill-down receiver query. If we select heading order number we get all orders.
What are we missing?

For the Question NO 1
Sender query has variable for created on date. Output is order type, order number, material and several key figures. We want to RRI to a more detailed cube that has order number, item number material, sales person and several key figures. The drill down we want from the sender query is basically if sales look low for an order number order type combo, we want to drill down on the order number only and see more details.
Goto RSBBS.
1)Click on the receiver Query and click on assignments Details
2)Keep all the objects as Type -- Delete and keep the Order number as Type -Generic.
3)As u said the Order is already a Input Variable.
For the Question NO 2
What's strange is this RRI works fine in the Web, but not Bex. We have different query names for web and bex. Why won't bex work. If we select a particular order number in bex and select Goto - detailed report we get no data. If in Bex we simply do a right click on the process order column and select this path, we get a RRI, but it's for every order. We only want an RRI for a particular order number.

Need to find a calendar to schedule multiple assignments with multiple tasks set on specific days for multiple people

There may be no such animal as what I am searching for, but I thought I'd give it a try.
What I need to do is find a calendar app that allows me to have individual calendars for staff members that I can place a several-days-long assignment and have those people access remotely on an iPad or iPhone (autosync).
I also want to be able to have tasks set on specific days within that assignment that have alerts/reminders for each stage of the assignment.
Being able to custom colour each individual assignment (not just the person's own calndar) is also necessary, as these asignments overlap and need to be easily distinguishable at a glance. Each assignment needs to be its own entity and not affect any furture or previous entries, even if I choose the same colour.
It needs to be in a month by month view and be able to be something each person can subscribe to and sync up with for changes on a daily basis. It does nothave to be a calendar like in the screen shot below, it could be a linear calendar that has days across the top and assignments down the left side.....
Here is a screen shot of a rudimentary excel spreadsheet I have been using. It is awkward and becoming unmanageable as the number of assigments increases and more staff are being added on. And I must send a new spreadsheet out every time I make a change or add an assignment, which is several times a week.
I suspect I may be asking for the world, but if anyone knows a direction I can go in to start a search, I'd be grateful. I haven't had success of my own so far and need to find something soon.
iCal doesn't work for me due to the fact I can only colour code the calendar itself and not the event, plus not being able to have multiple tasks within one event. And the qty of assignments I'd have would see most getting lost, eliminating my abilty to see every staff member's assignmanet at the same time.

Issue in display of Overall Result while implememting RRI

Hi All,
I have a base report which gives all the material for which no issues are done in last 3 yrs for a plant.
I have a new report which has all the materials passed from the base report and then i display the consumption of those in rest of the plants.
When I display the report, the Overall Result is displayed incorrect.
Child report

When Analysed We found that the overall result is the result of the base report. for the 1st and 2 column.How Do I change the reuslt.

In the Report assignments ,make the PLant and result as "Delete" mode for these infoobjects.
Just come back with ur assignment settings,it has got to do with these Settings !!!!!!!!!!
