You MUST buy only from Apple ,all others sources will be locked to a carrier
All in not a good idea for an EU resident including smuggling into EU .iPhone value is above personal allowance

The 1015 error is usually because of an attempt to download and downgrade the iOS version on the phone. Has the device been jailbroken? Had you tried to install a different iOS version on the phone?

Yes, you must be happy. Mine is lost from December 3th and no news from them. I bouth a HTC Desire, because IPhone was a mess on service support. I will have this one for a while...and by sure I will change all Iphones in the company for something else till I see some support from them.

You can't permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they don't show in the Purchased tab for re-downloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919

Multiple Apple ID's and syncing problem

I have two apple ID's (by mistake). Since rebuilding my harddrive and reloading my OS, I try to sync my Iphone I get the message "this iphone is synced with another apple ID. Merge or Replace" -- but it's unclear WHICH account will be used to replace? And merging already duplicated all my contacts once. Help!?

I'm taking a risk here and assuming that when you say "iPad ID" and "iPhone ID" you are referring to the iCloud ID on the mentioned device, right?
If so,
the extra storage was purchased with your dad's iCloud account and that's where it stays.
Dad's iCloud ID can stay on his iPad, along with his extra storage.
Go to Settings->iCloud and delete Dad's iCloud ID from Mom's phone.
Log in to iCloud on Mom's phone with Mom's iCloud ID.
(Does she already have this iCloud ID? If not, it may be taken by someone else and she would have to create a new one for her.)
You cannot move the extra storage to Mom's iCloud ID. MAYBE, just MAYBE iTunes can do it, but I seriously doubt it. Contact them for assistance. (apple.com/support/itunes and select Contact iTunes)
I don't fully understand the need to purchase extra storage for just one device. Now, if you had multiple iOS devices (like for your business), then I can see it. I back up a 32g iPad and a 16g phone using less than half of 1G of my iCloud storage.

Multiple Apple ID's and iCloud (purchased extra storage)

My mom and dad want different iCloud accounts (so the contacts etc are not merged) They have bought the extra 20GB of iCloud storage for my Mom's phone. Here's the setup and apple ID's... My question is how to split these and keep the extra iCloud storage on my mom's phone.
Dad's iPad ID: [email protected]
Mom's iPhone ID: [email protected]
iCloud extra storage ID: [email protected]
I want to change Mom's iPhone to: [email protected]
and change the extra iCloud storage to: [email protected]
I've already tried to change the ID of the iCloud but it will not let me because the email address for [email protected] is already used.

The @icloud.com address is an alias of your @dfarve.com address (if that's the one that's listed in Settings>iCloud on your phone). You can use either one to sign in on iCloud.com from your computer, but your main iCloud ID is the @dfarve.com address.
If your birthday is not correct on your Apple ID, go to appleid.apple.com to manage the ID, sign in. If you are using two-step verification on the ID, select the Name, ID and Email Addresses section, then change the birth date on the bottom right. Dear Terence, Thank you for responding to my problem. In no way did I mean to discredit the dedication and work of the volunteers assisting Apple customers and if I did, I apologize. I am just so tired of having to purchase a new computer every other year as so it seems. I know they are not perfected, but it is very frustrating when they just go kaput. I am always the first person to appreciate a kind deed and do appreciate your support and help regarding this unfortunate issue. My iPad was the greatest computer I've had until this morning and was disappointed. Again, thank you for your concern and for your help. It is greatly appreciated.
