Assistance needed no connection and phone signal

 Could anyone help me out please
I have no internet connection since noon and phone has no signal as well  so unable to call you and chat is never available.There is no known issues on your status page  I tried already all self healing options even tried new microfilters still no internet connection and no internet light on hub. 

The status page will only show issues if they are widespread.
Unfortunately the only way to report faults is by the phone or by calling from the Sky service app for Apple or Android smartphones.

  • What's the connection between data connections (3G/4G/WiFi) and phone signal strength (calls)?

    At home I'm almost always on my wifi with the 3G/4G turned off.  I've turned it on to experiment, and I get 3G in my house, but the reception (to make and receive phone calls) stays at 0 to 1 bars.  There is a Target store about a 10 minute walk from my house and I get 4G LTE when I'm shopping there, but the reception (calls) is still weak, maybe better but I can't tell you offhand.
    There is a Verizon tower about 6 miles southwest of my home; they actually had me drive out and sit under it last winter to fix a Droid Pro problem once.
    I absolutely do not understand how 3G and 4G relate to call signal strength, as it's been eluded to in other discussions.  I'm getting the impression that it affects the signal strength for phone calls, but then how can I (on my old phone) toggle it off and still have signal for calls?  When I drive into the heart of 4G LTE country I can turn off the data and still have 4 or 5 bars.  What's the connection between data and phone signal strength?

  • My partner updated to IOS 5 last night on his iPhone 4 and can no longer pick up any wifi signal and phone signal is dire in areas where he had no problem before... anyone having similar issues??

    After updating to IOS 5 on an iPhone 4 can no longer get wifi in my home and phone signal is terrible and drops out taking up to 10 mins to re-appear... anyone else having these sort of problems?? 

    I am having similar problems on my new iPhone 4S
    My mac gets good wifi connection in the same location. I measured the signal strength -- something like -77db signal vs. -90db noise.
    But my iPhone WiFi keeps cutting in and out. In fact, I left my phone on last night to update various apps over WiFi. When I checked it this a.m. I had received several warning messages from AT&T that I was nearing my 3G data limit. I looked at my phone and it had consumed nearly 100mb of cellular data overnight, when it should have been connected over WiFi.
    Needless to say, it's taken some of the thrill away from my new iPhone...

  • I cannot connect to internet eevnthough i have wifi,when im trying to login on FB it says unable to connect and same with YM it saysinternet connections appears to be offline,when in fact the WIFI smartbro is connected,and the signal is very strong...

    my itouch cannot connect to internet...but the other day i can use the wifi im connected,but since yesterday eventhough im connected to wifi and the signal is very strong,when im trying to login on FB it says unable to connect to FB,same with YM it says internet connection is offline when in fact i have a strong signal of wifi..

    - Reset the iPod. Nothing is lost
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    Do other devices successfully connect to the network?
    Does the iPod successfully connect to other networks?

  • Smart connect not detecting connections and phone not detecting headphones

    Hi
    The smart connect app in my Z2 used to auto launch the profile i set when my Blue tooth ear phones connect and disconnect but not anymore. Force stopping the app does not work. It was working before the lasted android update.
    Also my phone has stopped detecting my beats plug in headphones. Again it used to work prior to the software update last month.
    Sony if you're reading this please issue a patch soon thanks!

  • IOS5 and Phone Signal Issues

    A problem... is there a reason why, since upgrading my iPhone 3GS to IOS5, that my 3G and WIFI signal seems to cut out constantly. When ever I try to use the internet (WIFI or 3G) the phone seems to go into a cycle of 'no signal' 'searching' 'full signal'.
    Anyone else had this issue? Any ideas what might be the problem / solution?

    I aqm having the same problem.  I have a 3GS phone, but my signal was fine when I was using 4.3.3.....
    I have now been without a cell signal now for almost 24 hours.  My phone is also used for Business, and this is killing me.   My Wifi has no issues, just the cell signal.  It toggles between searching, and no service.  How can apple get away with this.  I am paying for a service, that I am not getting.  Hopefully Apple will at least acknowledge this problem, and let us know what are they going to do about this.  Apple should pay my cell phone bill, while my Iphone is unable to not get a signal !!!!

    For the past 2 weeks my iPhone 5 says searching in the top left corner of the screen. It will connect to wifi but not 3G or my EE phone network. There are currently no appointments available at the Genius Bar local to me. Has anyone experienced the same issue with their phone?

  • Wi Fi Connection and phone picks up without ringing

    Has anyone had a problem with the phone simply picking up without ringing or pressing the green answer button?  This only happens when I am connected through my home wireless connection in an area where there is no other cell service (in Vermont).  It is as if the phone thinks that the wifi will act like the bluetooth car phone connection.  Strangely, the ring tone works and the phone does not answer itself when the connection is to a cell tower.  Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

    You would need access to either your own home wifi service if you have it (or someone elses that you are authorized to use) or free (or rented) wifi service when at hotspot areas (such as McDonald's, Hotels, etc).

  • WMP600N - weak connection and low signal - Windows 7 x64

    I bought the WMP600N because Linksys and Microsoft listed it as 'compatible' for Windows 7 x64.
    My experience:
    - unstable and weak connection
    - pings to websites like google.com drops, average: 1 out of 3
    - low signal, on the same spot my three years old HP-laptop with 'a build in wireless card' has full signal strength in Windows 7
    - it works well under Windows XP (32 bit)
    I'am convinced that drivers for the WMP600N are not ready for Window 7 x64. Linksys (or Ralink, which developed the chipset), please release a proper driver for the WMP600N!

    I'm not sure about you guys, but I use WMP600N and  running Windows 7 64bit without any issues. The driver that I'm using now is Driver Version: 3.0.2.0, Driver Provider: Ralink Techonolgy Corp, Driver Date: 6/19/2009. Here's what I did when I upgrded my wireless adapter. 1. Uninstall the original wireless driver from device manager. 2. Turn off the computer and phisically removed the wireless adapter from my computer. 3. Pop in the new WMP600N and turn on the computer. 4. Windows 7 then automatically detects the new adapter and intall the proper driver for it. Well, that's all I did. The whole process is very simple and straight forward.

  • Phone signal vs Router singal -- overpowering

    Because of having a Vontage device, I'm forced to have my wireless phone connected close to my computer. Problem: whenever I have an incoming call the phone overpowers my router and causes my laptop to be disconnected from the internet.
    Is there anyway, other than using a wired phone, to have my internet connection and phone connection at the same time?
    What do I need to do to fix this?

    Try moving the router farther away from the wireless phone.  Additionally, do the following:
    Give your network a unique SSID. Do not use "linksys". If you are using "linksys" you may be trying to connect to your neighbor's router. Also set "SSID Broadcast" to "enabled". This will help your computer find and lock on to your router's signal.
    In your router, try a different channel. There are 11 channels in the 2.4 GHz band. Usually channel 1, 6, or 11 works best. Check out your neighbors, and see what channel they are using. Because the channels overlap one another, try to stay at least +5 or -5 channels from your strongest neighbors. For example, if you have a strong neighbor on channel 9, try any channel 1 through 4.  Also, some phones can be adjusted as to what channel they use - check your phone manual.  If you can adjust the channel that the phone is using, or even if you can only find out what channel the phone is using, then try to get the router and phone at least 5 channels apart.

    It sounds like you have the latest version of iTunes on Mavericks and iOS 7.0.4 on your phone and do not have an Info tab in iTunes to sync your calendar to your device. Mavericks does not use Sync Services so there is no Info tab to click in iTunes. Here is more info from an article explaining why there is no Info tab.

    OS X Mavericks v10.9 and later do not use SyncServices. Instead, Mavericks supports sharing your information using several network-based and cloud-based solutions. If you want to sync your information across multiple devices and computers, you should use one or more of these methods.     It sounds like you have the latest version of iTunes on Mavericks and iOS 7.0.4 on your phone and do not have an Info tab in iTunes to sync your calendar to your device. Mavericks does not use Sync Services so there is no Info tab to click in iTunes. Here is more info from an article explaining why there is no Info tab.
