Assistive Touch Sluggish in IOS7 Ipad 4?

since updating to IOS 7, my Ipad 4 showed signs of slugishness while playing Temple Run 2, ZOmbie tsunami, etc when assistive touch is enabled . I noticed when I turn off the assistive touch, the slugishness dissappears and interface is smooth just like in IOS 6. Does anyone experiencing the same sluggishness while the assitive touch is enabled in IOS7 Ipad 4? Any feedback is much appreciated.

I'm having the same issues with an iPhone 4S 64GB with Assistive Touch enabled on iOS7. Doesn't exactly feel premium to have to turn the function on and off to make the phone usable.
(Yes, I have reset the phone, totally wiped it etc etc, nothing of that helps. It's most likely a bug in the renderer part.)

Took my phone to the Apple store this week and they told me it was a hardware/screen malfunction. They replaced the screen for free since it was under warranty. Now it works fine again!

After I Rebooted My iPad, I Started to touch my assistive touch and what is the main issue i was facing was when i open my assistive touch i'm unable to close it by touching the outside of the assistive touch,but when i press the blank place in the assistive touch it closed. Assistive Touch is on, but now I cannot unlock my ipad.

I turned on the assistive touch with the two finger gesture and it will not let me touch anything. There are the two blue circles but they will not move and I am now unable to unlock the ipad.

Have you not still got the assistive gesture 'button' (the filled-in circle) on screen ? If you touch that then the two blue circles should disappear, and if you then touch any other part of the screen to close the gestures 'home' you should be able to unlock the iPad

Assistive touch will not lock my iPad 4

I am having issues with my iPad 4th gen lock button, it will allow the iPad to power down and power on but it will not lock the screen. I turned on the assistive touch control and it still will not lock with it either. I have reset the iPad twice, and I am running iOS 8.1. Any advice would be helpful!

The notice on the website notwithstanding, the iOS 4.2 update has not yet been released. Apple's webmasters were somewhat premature, or it is taking longer than expected to get the release uploaded to Apple's servers.
Try again later today, or perhaps tomorrow since today the servers will probably be jammed.

IOS7 Assistive Touch BUG?!

On iOS 7, if you have turn assistive touch on, and accessibility shortcut if set to assistive touch, you might be found a problem - cant show control center and notification center when you use accessibility shortcut (press home button 3 time to turn off assistive touch), even you at lock screen (take photo still works).
Press home button 3 time again to get assistive touch back on, and control center and notification center back to work!
Have no idea why accessibility shortcut can cause this problem, assistive touch is great way to extend our home button's life~

Touch controls completely frozen - iPad

The touch controls of my iPad are completely frozen.
Only the very bottom part of the screen has a very limited sensitivity, and after many tries I can slide unlock the iPad.
The rest of the screen does not respond to any control.
I have already tried both turning the iPad off and on again, and rebooting it by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for a few seconds, but none seems to work.
The only solution I can see is to reset the iPad to its factory settings by following the procedure at Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings .
However, when I connect the iPad to iTunes, iTunes asks me if I trust my own computer, and I am required to answer 'Yes,Trust' by tapping on a popup notification that appears at the center of the iPad screen. Obviously I cannot tap that, since the iPad screen is frozen. This is so dumb...
As a result, I cannot move ahead with the restore procedure.
What should I do to solve this problem?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. My home button has recently broken so I was exiting out of an app and the assistive touch screen will not go away. I cannot touch anything on the screen, or even turn it off.
