Associate new type of purchase requisition to WRP1

I have created a type of purchase requisition (ZNBB) and I can't associate it to the Replenishment Planning.
I have tried to associate it in the SRS parameters and also using the MRP Groups, but WRP1 keeps calling the standard type of requisition (NB). This is a problem for us since we have a different logic for our retail operations than for the rest of our operations. Is there anyway of making WRP1 call the new purchase requisition type?

    Hi,
    You cannot activate new tab through SPRO.
    You have to goto CMOD > give some project name say <CREATE>, Give some description and press SAVE > select Enhancement assignment > give Enhancement "MEREQ001" and press SAVE .
    Select Components, double click on Screen exit, it will prompt you to create screen 111. Then add required fields in screen.
    Further you will need ABAPer.

    For error 51, you need to set the default document type in the inbound processing FM of the IDOC
    Standard type - NB
    Subcontrator type
    Blank PO
    Service PO
    Stock transport PO.
    Document types is used for below things,
    1. It controls the no. range of the document i.e. the doc no.
    2. It controls whether doc no. is auto assigned or manually entered
    3. It controls the field status of the doc header fields i.e. whether input is mandatory or optional
    4. It controls the physical doc filing

    Hi,
    You can use FM ME_UPDATE_REQUISITION for updating the purchase requisitions.
    You have to pass XPREXT-KZ = 'U' as import paramter along PR number as import paramter.
    Rest data can be passed to corresponding tables.

    you meant to say UB -Stock transport order doc type?
    We have have it based on the Business requirement,which says a requirement have to be generated from the user for the stock transport and can be Processed after approval ,then it can be used or else it is not required.
    we can process the same using the PO- UB.

  • Validate Materials according type of Purchase Requisition

    Good morning.
    At present the system we have several types of Purchase Requsitions (document created by the ME51N) that users can use (PR for Material, PR for contracts, PR for services, etc)
    When creating the PR, the user chooses the PR type and write materials codes. The system is not Restrict the user to do things like, for a PR with type pshicical Materials,  request a service material, which is obviously wrong and generate rework.
    What we require is to know how to parameterize the system to validate that type of PR, only to order the materials associated with each type and do not let things like the example above.
    We have the material well classified by Material Group and Purchase Group. I just need to know how to assign materials to each type of PR.
    Research on this topic, I found the SPRO something I think I could serve.
    SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> PR -> Documents types
    See here for example for PR ZS01 - PR Materials (used to order everything that is NOT services, ie physical materials), if I go to see the types of position allowed me see the following:
    Code:
    Tp.Pos | Text Pos Type
    Normal
    C Appropriation
    L Outsourcing
    I Wanted to third
    Transfer V
    F Service
    I also see that all other types of PR of which there are established, have enabled the same kind of position.
    Anyone know if this is why users can request a service for a material type PR Materials. o A physical material in a service PR?
    Could Restrict through this that for example if the user creates a type PR SERVICE, only to enter service type material (a material through the group I guess)?
    At last if i cant by parameterization, which I think is to create a Ztable with the association "MATERIAL - TYPE Purchase Requisition" and a field-exit to the fields where the materials are entered in PR to validate that the user typed material associated with this type of PR chosen and if that does not leave PR record. What I like about this solution is that the material planner will add a function over having to keep this updated Z table.
    I would appreciate opinions.

    By using following BADI you can put a check while saving PR
    You can put a check with reference to item category and document type , and material group of the entered material and PR document type , if required you can maintain Z table with allowed relationship or you can update the same in BADI
    (BAdI) ME_REQ_POSTED, you can trigger a variety of follow-on processing operations for purchase requisitions at the time of posting

  • Work flow object  type for purchase requisition

       u asked me to create a Customer Task in PFTC and assign this object and a Method  and define a triggering event etc for the workflow to get triggered,but in the triggering events there is no create event in it,so how and where should i create that event and also in the custom table which i have created there is a field approver user id ,where can i get this id frm?when the pr is created the fields storage location and issuing plant will be read and sent to the custom table where the related approver id should be chosen,,but the field will be blank so how to enter data into the approver user id field.....
    also in the business object(bus2105) is it that in the program only the create function module should be called and the rest of the fn modules which r there in the sample program which u have sent should be deleted?????????

    Hi go to PFTC tcode and enter Workflow template and press F4, it displays all WF templates, then in that search and take the PR related one.

       PR do not have Delivery schedule like PO.
       You need 2 details or mode in PR.

    am giving u my requirement once again
       i have a custom table: the fields in it are storage location,issuing plant,approver user id..
    when a PR is created..the storage location(EBAN-lgort) and issuing plant(eban-werks) are to be read into the custom table where there is no data available for the approver user id...and a mail has to be sent to the approver ..when approved/ rejected a mail will be sent to the Requisitioner,approver and creator..
    as u said create a subtype of the Business object bus2105 and have to create a Customer Task in PFTC and assign this object and a Method  and define a triggering event.
    now wat i didnt understand is....when the fields location and plant r read frm the PR there will be no data in the approver user id field in the custom table,then how to get the approver' mail id...?

    You will get the UserID of the Approver from this
    then use the Tables <b>USR21 and ADR6</b> tables to get the mail ID

  • Multiple document types per Network in Purchase Requisition stage

    Hi,
    PRs get created automatically whenever we attach the material component to an activity.Required Document type of PRs are maintained in transaction 'OPTT'.
    My Client is using three document types for Imports, Material Procurement & Services Procurement respectively & he wants all the three document types to be mapped in Project System implementation.(All other modules have been implemented long back & now IM&PS modules are being implemented)
    In transaction OPTT, only one entry is possible to maintain as Document Type. Can anybody share how to maintain three Document Types?

    Let me clarify one thing that Tcode:OPTT is to specify purchasing item categories(account assignment categories) and a purchasing document type for purchase requisitions in the network, this is not the area where u create new document type.
    1) u can create new document types in the IMG>Material Management >Purchasing > Purchase requisition>define document types. where in u have define the new document type with the allowed categories and link purchase requisition with the document types.
    2) U have to link this document type to the PO document type.
    3) Then go to the OPTT transaction maintain the account assignment categories for the new document type created.

    Hi All!
    I created a new Item category in service order (IW31) "O" with the account assignment category "O". If I don't set the Consumption posting indicator to V for this category, when I set the account assignment category "O" to the purchase requisition in <i>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-Maintenance and Service Processing-Maintenance and Service Orders-General Data-Define Account Assignment Category/Document Type for Purchase Requisitions</i>, I receive the message:
    <b>"Acct. assign. cat. "O" for purchase req. does not exist.
    Message no. CS 075"</b>
    The client request is not to charge immediately for the goods receipt with the relevant costs the service order. The client wants to create the goods receipt in a storage location for the plant and then confirm the components and charge the costs after the component confirmation (movement type 261) - similar to stock material.
    Any idea about what should I do?

    The problem is solved now. The cause was that the test requisition that I was making was satisfying more than one rules and hence I end dated the remaining rules which solved the problem.

  • ME52N: Purchase Requisition Change GL Account Number

    Requirement: ABAP auto-change the GL Account field number in a Purchase Requisition after the Material Group is changed.
    Background: This custom logic has been successfully applied to all types of Purchase Requisitions using  BADI ME_PROC_REQ_CUST, with the exception of a Purchase Requisition type that is called a 'Service Limits'. There are differences that are important to note between a 'Service Limits' Purchase Requisition and the other Purchase Requisitions that had custom code added without any problems.
    1)This type of Purchase Requisition uses a item category of 'B', and the logic has a tendency to flow through SAP differently.
    2)This type of Purchase Requisition's GL Account number is under-intensified on the 'item' subscreen, and cannot be changed manually on that screen like the others..
    3)In order for the GL Account to be changed manually, or for the GL Account to be changed once my code has changed the GL Account Number, the user must select the 'Limits' tab and select the Account Assignment arrow, then a popup appears where the GL Account can be changed manually, or, my coded GL Account number change then occurs.
    Problem: I want the custom code to be able to change the GL Account NUmber without having to go into thge 'Limits' tab, where the icon has to be selected. I believe the problem is that the field is protected, because it displays as under-intensified, thus, preventing my new GL Account NUmber from displaying. I also have the subsequent SAP code below that appears to reject set_exkn because protect is set to 'X'.

    CODE2: Is the SAP code that my will flow into where this field appears to be unchangeable.
    My question:
    I am thinking that this GL Account field is protected and cannot be changed because it is under-intensified on the subscreen on the Purchase Requisition. Or, are there settings that should be changed in SPRO for the Purchase Requisition to allow this functionality to change the GL Account number.

    Your PO release strategy must have been based on Cost Center as one of characteristics.

  • Issue with Purchase Requisition Release strategy

    Hi Gurus,
    We are using ECC 6.0.For the approvals of purchase requisitions, we are using standard SAP functionality of release procedure. There were some 52 release strategies configured for the PR .The release strategy was based on value of the following fields that is below were characteristics grouped together for class for PR:
    1.     Creation Indicator of PR-R (Configured only for manually created PRs)
    2.     Purchasing Group
    3.     Value of the PR
    As a result of PM module implementation, there is requirement of additional 30 release strategies.
    We configured them but one more field of doc type was added in the characteristics fields.
    Now the release strategy was based upon following fields:
    1.     Creation Indicator of PR-R (Configured only for manually created PRs)
    2.     Purchasing Group-(Configured against new purchasing groups )
    3.     Value of the PR
    4.     Document type of purchase requisitions.
    Classification data was accordingly maintained that is for older release strategies,
    Old PR doc. Type: NB was maintained where as other values were same. For new release strategies, new PR document types:NB1-NB6 for Doc type have been maintained .
    The above set up worked fine for some time. But suddenly, none of the PR release strategies are working. I checked all the related configuration settings and all look fine. I also checked my release strategies in tcode: OMGQCK. But no error was there.
    Could any body help in finding the reason why PR release strategy stopped working all of a sudden? What could be the probable reasons? What should be the approach to resolve it?
    We are in testing phase. Many of the test scripts failed due to this issue.
