hi ,
I would like to ask you for this issue , we have différents SSID in the same site one particular SSID does not work correcly  .
The problème is that when ens station tray to connect in the network using this SSIG hotspot guest , the association failed .
i have tried to launch some debug to undestand the reason , but without succèss :

May i have any help for this question.
thank you in advance fior your help.

It seems like you are doing EAP auth...
as per logs... it seems like the radius is sending a Disconnect-Request to the client due to this log:
apfMsDeleteByMscb Scheduling mobile for deletion with deleteReason 6, reasonCode 1
However authentication is passing thru sucessfully it even receives an IP address from DHCP.
So not sure what is going on  in there? please provide us details as stefanick has requested please.

  • My home sharing continually fails between mac and apple tv 2.

    my home sharing continually fails between mac and apple tv 2, even during watching a movie.  I go to the mac to re-turn on home sharing but it is still on.  Any tips?  I also have to turn off and back on at the mac every time i switch on my apple tv.

    Sharing Stopped working again over night.
    I went to Apple Support Artical TS2972
    As soon as I did this Home Sharing started working
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2972
    Firewall Section
    5. Check Firewall Settings
    If you have a firewall enabled in your router or computer, make sure that the firewall is not blocking communication between your computers. Home Sharing uses TCP port 3689 and UDP port 5353 to communicate with shared iTunes libraries.
    In addition, Apple TV and Mac computers will use port 123 to set the time automatically. Incorrect date and time on either the computer or Apple TV can cause errors for Home Sharing and connections in general.
    If you are unsure whether your router has a firewall or the required ports open, test additional devices or another network to help isolate the issue. If the devices tested work on another home network, it is your router or network configuration.
    For Mac OS X, you don't have to edit the port addresses, but make sure the firewall in Apple () menu > System Preferences > Security > Firewall are not set to:
    Block all incoming connections
    Allow only essential services
    If you use another security/firewall software on your computer or router, follow this article or contact the manufacturer or check the documentation on how to open TCP ports 123 and 3689 as well as UDP ports 123 and 5353.
    It made sense to me, but its still puzzling me after restarting a router would (in my first attempt) resolve the issue for a day.  This this time I applied the port forwarding TCP and UDP ports and saved the settings in the DLink DIR-655 and both my iPad2 and iPhone 3GS were now again finding the share. My ATV2 is also now accepting the Share.
    Tommorrow will be the true test.

  • Copy between host and guest

    I'm a student at a Uni and I'm currently learning the basics about Windows Server Domain Controllers.
    One of the assignments required us to use a excel spreadsheet file to setup users in the domain, I tried copying this file from my host to the virtual machine but I couldn't do this(I also tried drag and drop).
    Additionally I can't copy text trough the clipboard in and out of the VM. (the only options that work are the ones from the clipboard menu item; type clipboard text and capture screen)
    My teacher told me this should be possible by enabling the integration services, but I had already done so.
    Both the VM and the host system run on Windows Server 2012 R2 with the latest updates.
    My teacher didn't know why I couldn't do this since according to him it should be possible with Hyper-V on server 2012 R2.
    I should mention that I was connected trough remote desktop with the host system(which is a server at OVH), I was able to copy and paste trough the RDP session between my client and the host, but not to the VM's.
    2.
    I believe the virtual machine connection also uses the RDP protcol, so I'd like to know if its possible to connect to the virtual machine directly trough RDP (without having the virtual machine attached to the internet)
    3.
    I saw that there are some settings in the device manager for the network adapter, but I couldn't find out what forwarding optimization is supposed to do and I was also wondering if this setting can be configured on a Linux virtual machine (and if there are
    any other network optimization settings for Linux, which I can configure)

    Hi Sir,
    >>I tried copying this file from my host to the virtual machine but I couldn't do this(I also tried drag and drop).
    If you want to use copy/past between that VM and host , you may need to enable "enhanced session" mode (only win 8.1 and 2012R2 ) :
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn282274.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
    How to enable it please refer to this article:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2013/10/18/windows-8-1-windows-server-2012-r2-vmconnect-enhanced-mode-rdp-over-vmbus.aspx
    Also , you can click here on that 2012R2 VM conneciton :
    In addition I saw that "Guest Services" was enabled , you can use command copy-vmfile to transfer file from host to VM :
    Copy-VMFile -Name scvmm2012r2 -SourcePath c:\test.txt -DestinationPath c:\test.txt -FileSource Host

  • File Association conflict between CS6 and CC 2014

    I have both CS6 and CC2014 loaded on my computer.
    I want to use CS6 for file associations, but I am being prevented from doing so by CC2014 which pre-emts CS6 and blocks me from changing file associations for .jpg files etc. in Windows 7. How do I fix this?

    Are you sure?  I just had a quick look, and by taking the usual route or right clicking a JPG and choosing Open With > Choose Default program, I was able to browse to the pre 2014 version of Photoshop, and assign it.  I don't have CS6 installed at the moment, but I can't think why it shouldn't work the same way.

  • Bluetooth connection fail between E72 and Win7 (32...

    Hi !
    I have got my Dell Vostro 3700 with Win7 (Pro-32bit) recently, have been trying connect my E72 with OVI via bluetooth, it only work when the first pairing, and the connection cannot establish once i restarted the computer. Has anyone come across this problem ?
    Regards,
    Tedd

    To be honest, I think the bluetooth feature of the E72 is absolute rubbish.
    I paired my E72 with my car radio, in order to get calls using the car hifi and speakers. I also thought it would be a really great feature to hear the GPS voice directions coming through the car hifi.
    It paired and worked briefly for a few minutes, when the BT connection just dropped. Like you, I couldn't get it to pair again without deleting it from the car hifi memory. Now it works when it feels like. I cannot rely on BT staying connected for longer than a few minutes.
    My other phone, the N78 is rock solid when connected via BT to the car, so it definitely is the E72 at fault. Newer versions of firmware don't seem to help either. I've written to Nokia, but as usual they ignore me.

  • Networking between host and qemu imag for telnet

    Hello.
    I want to start doing test and learning a bit about networking.
    But I only have a computer, and it doesn't have even hardware emulation, making the use of any modern distro as a virtual machine painfuly slow.
    So I downloaded a floppy distro.. and I manage to get a virtual network card working. But there is no ping between host and guest. I  can't Telnet neither, of course.
    Qemu man page and google are confusing me a lot. It speack of redirecting ports.. no solution to that
    I don t have firewall, as I don't have Internet at home.
    What can i do now? :S
    Thanks in advance

    I think I must stop drinking so much cofee on the afternoon, lol
    Thank you very much for adding my reply!

    Yes, I checked that too... No result.
    Maybe it is an issue with /etc/rc.conf. Some months ago it changed on the format who manages the network. May it be outdated?
    Obviously, you did inadvertently use the "Report" button to submit this.
    But don't worry, this happens quite often.
    I tough a bit about the problem, and followed the steps on the Gentoo Wiki for sharing a conection between two guests, and I found the same problem, but with the vbe module being unabaible. After a bit of rage, I realized two possible workarounds:
    First thing, is that I compile my kernel. As I don't have KVM or Hardware emulation, I just don't compile any virtual machine module, to save memory. BUT, I do have the /dev/net/tun device who qemu can't recognice (yes, I tried to run qemu as root), so It seems that it is compiled after all
    The second thing, is that I also stripped the daemons and services at bootup, as I don't have Internet, or othercomputers, I don't need most of them. Between the services I don't start at bootup is the netwprk daemon... but if i try to start it, all it does is delay the bootup for almost 2 minutes looking for a network :S
    So, I'll just copy my /etc/rc.conf, where I just did the changes of the wiki. Maybe I did something wrong, maybe I lack something.
    Any help will be must appreciated

    I suspect that the fields having subtype 3 just before the garbled columns is a clue, but not sure what to replace with or adjust.
    Any and all help mighty appreciated.

    Worthwhile suggestion, just having difficulty applying.
    I will tinker with it more. But still open to more suggestions.

  • Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2

    : java.sql.SQLException: Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv
    (BC4J throws that exception)
    I got that error message when try to show the table's content in uix page.
    I use varchar2(40). the error occurs, when i set special characters like õ,ü,Ü.. and so on.
    This affects only UTF encoded database.
    We use: 9.0.2.5, Jdev9.0.3.3., UIX, iAS 9.4.2??(i dont'know)
    As i know the problem is when there is 40 letters in the column and it contains "special character" it can't convert it, because the neccessary space requered to store values is much more.
    If i use nvarchar, i don't think it fix this problem.
    And as i know, all sql constant must use where coulmn=N'constans value' format.
    Q:
    How can i set the UTF database and BC4J to run correctly.
    I mean... what type to use, what is the column size to set.
    Thanks in advice,
    Viktor

    I had the same problem using Oracle 9i. The problem lied within the Oracle JDBC driver itself! --;
    If you're using JDBC driver from Oracle 9i, stop using it!
    You should download JDBC driver of Oracle 10g from Oracle site and use that driver instead.
    After I changed the driver, I now have no problem of getting Korean characters from the database.
    Hope this would solve your problem too.

  • Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv

    We need to store possibly all UTF8 chararacter in his database
    especially $ & ( 4 8 < = > from WE8ISO8859P1 and from WE8ISO8859P15.
    So we install an UTF8 instance and set NLS_LANG to UTF8.
    We have to do select/update from a java client and sqlplus(like).
    When we insert with java client it's unreadable from sqlplus and
    when whe insert from sqlplus we've got 'Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv '
    here the code made in sqlplus
    update CPW_TEST set lb_comportement='$ & ( 4 8 < = > ' WHERE ID_TEST=14805;
    here the code made in java
    update CPW_TEST set lb_comportement='$ & ( 4 8 < = > ' WHERE ID_TEST=14804;
    and then the result in database
    SELECT id_test,LB_COMPORTEMENT FROM CPW_TEST WHERE ID_TEST=14804 or ID_TEST=14805
    ID_TEST LB_COMPORTEMENT
    14804 B$ B& B( B4 B8 B< B= B> B
    14805 $ & ( 4 8 < = >
    2 rows selected
    and the dump
    SELECT id_test,dump(LB_COMPORTEMENT) FROM CPW_TEST WHERE ID_TEST=14804 or ID_TEST=14805
    ID_TEST DUMP(LB_COMPORTEMENT)
    14804 Typ=1 Len=26: 194,164,32,194,166,32,194,168,32,194,180,32,194,184,32,194,188,32,194,189,32,194,190,32,194,128
    14805 Typ=1 Len=17: 164,32,166,32,168,32,180,32,184,32,188,32,189,32,190,32,128
    2 rows selected
    I'm not sure, but it seems that sqlplus uses true UTF8 (variable length codes) and java client uses UCS-2 (2 bytes)
    How can I solve my problem?
    Our configuration
    javaclient (both thin and oci jdbc driver 8.1.7), sqlplus client and database Oracle 8.1.7.0.0 on the same computer (W2000 or NT4)
    Thank you for yoru attention.

    Hi Luis, thanks for your suggestions. You're right that problem was in JServ and his JVM.
    There was conflict between different versions of Java. While iFS was using JRE 1.3.1, JServ was configured to use JRE 1.1.8. As soon as I corrected link to the right Java, problem disappears.

  • Java.sql.SQLException: Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv

    Hi all,
    I am writing a servlet that connects to Oracle 8.0.6 through jdbc for jdk1.2 on NT 4.0
    English version and it works fine.
    But when the servlet is deployed to a solaris with Oracle 8.0.5 (not a typo, the oracle on
    NT is 8.0.6 and oracle on solaris is 8.0.5) and jdbc for jdk1.2 (of course, for Solaris),
    the servlet failed with the Exception:
    java.sql.SQLException: Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv
    (I am using JRun 3.0 as the application and web server for both NT and Solaris)
    (The database in both the NT and solaris platform are using UTF8 charset)
    My servlet looks like this: (dbConn is a Connection object proved to be connected to Oracle
    in previous segment of the same method):
    String strSQL = "SELECT * FROM test";
    try { Statement stmt = dbConn.createStatement();
    ResultSet rs = stmt.execute(strSQL);
    while (rs.next()) {
    out.println("id = " + rs.getInt("id"));
    System.out.println("id written");
    out.println("name = " + rs.getString("name")); // <-- this is the line the
    exception is thrown
    System.out.println("name written");
    } catch (java.sql.SQLException e) {
    System.out.println("SQL Exception");
    System.out.println(e);
    The definition of the "test" table is:
    create table test(
    id number(10,0),
    name varchar2(30));
    There are about 10 rows exists in the table "test", in which all rows contains ONLY chinese
    characters in the "name" field.
    And when I view the System log, the string "id written" is shown EXACTLY ONCE and then there
    is:
    SQL Exception
    java.sql.SQLException: Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv
    That means the resultset is fetch back from the database correctly. The problem arise only
    during the getString("name") method.
    Again, this problem only happens when the servlet is run on the solaris platform.
    At first I would expect there are some strange code shown on the web page rather than having
    an exception. I know that I should use getBytes to convert between different encodings, but
    that's another story.
    One more piece of information: When all the rows contains ascii characters in their "name"
    field, the servlet works perfectly even in solaris.
    If anyone knows why and how to tackle the problem please let me know. You can feel free to
    send email to me at [email protected]
    Many thanks,
    Ben

    Hi all,
    For the problem I previously posted, I found that Oracle had had such bug filed before in Oracle 7.3.2 (something like that) and is classified to be NOT A BUG.
    A further research leads me to the document of Oracle that the error message:
    "java.sql.SQLException: Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv"
    is a JDBC driver error message of error number ORA-17037.
    I'm still wondering why this behaviour will happen only in Solaris platform. The servlet on an NT machine I am using (which has an Oracle 8.0.6 and jdbc for jdk 1.2 running) is working just fine. I also suspect that this may be some sort of mistakes from jdbc driver.
    Nevertheless, I have found a way to work around the problem that I cannot get non-English string from Oracle in Solaris and I would like to share it with you all here.
    Before I go on, I found that there are many people out there on the web that encounter the same problem. (Some of which said s/he has been working on this problem for a month). As a result, if you find this way of working around the problem does help you, please tell those who have the same problem but don't know how to tackle. Thanks very much.
    Here's the way I work it out. It's kinda simple, but it does work:
    Instead of using:
    String abc = rs.getString("SomeColumnContainsNonEnglishCharacters");
    I used this:
    String abc = new String(rs.getBytes("SomeColumnContainsNonEnglishCharacters"));
    This will give you a string WITH YOUR DEFAULT CHARSET (or ENCODING) from your system.
    If you want to convert the string read to some other encoding type, say Big5, you can do it like this:
    String abc = new String(rs.getBytes("SomeColumneContainsNonEnglishCharacters"), "BIG5");
    Again, it's simple, but it works.
    Finally, if anyone knows why the fail to convert problem happens, please kindly let me know by leaving a word in [email protected]
    Again, thanks to those of you who had tried to help me out.

  • File transfer problem between Host OS and Guest OS

    Hi,
    I have WIndows7 32 bit as a host OS in C drive. and i have installed the Virtualbox in D drive and installed CentOS 6 in virtual box as a guest OS.
    After installing the Guest Additions in CentOS and set the Drg n Drop-Bidirectional. it permits to create shared folder in CentOS but i am not able to drag n drop to any file from host to guest and vice versa.
    Also when i plug the pendrive it copy the partially data in guest OS then it show unpluggeed automatically in guest OS. It copy only .rpm file in guest OS (CentOS)
    please suggest how to copy the file from Host OS to guest OS and vice versa.
    I have installed VirtualBox-4.3.20-96997. i have installed also Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.3.20-96996.vbox-extpack on windows ( on host OS).
    Thanks.

    The following is from the virtualbox user manual:
    Drag’n’Drop This setting allows to enable Drag and Drop: Select a file on the desktop, click the left mouse button, move the mouse to the VM window and release the mouse button. The file is copied from the host to the guest. This feature is currently only implemented for Linux guests and only for copying files from the host to the guest.
    I guess that explains your experience with Drag'n Drop.
    Regarding USB and the pen drive, you cannot access a USB device in the host and guest OS at the same time. The technology does not support this. You will either have to capture the device to be used/mounted in the host or guest OS. Unless you configure the USB device in the virtual machine settings, the device will normally be captured by the host OS and become inaccessible by the guest OS.
    To copy files between Windows and a VirtualBox Linux guest you can use Putty and it's pscp.exe to copy files from Windows to Linux and vise versa. You may have o enable SSH on your Linux side. There was a post here yesterday, please check the last forum discussions. Alternatively you can also use WinSCP if you want a GUI tool.

  • SQL Exception: Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv

    Hi,
    I am trying to use the DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT to encrypt/decrypt some strings through JDBC, but I am getting the following exception:
    SQL Exception: Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2: failUTF8Conv
    The input and output parameters for the encryption/decryption functions are VarChar2.
    Our database is using UTF8.
    I will be glad if someone can help me on this.
    Thanks,
    Cenk

    Susi,
    This is just a wild guess, but your java client is on a different computer to your Oracle 9.2 server, and the locale (or encodings) on the two computers is different. Am I correct? If so, then I guess you need to change the locales (or encodings) so that they match.
    Have you tried printing out the "System" properties for the two JVMs (Oracle's and your client's)? Something simple like this:
    System.getProperties().list()Good Luck,
    Avi.

  • SSL between NSAPI and WLS with custom certificate and RequireSSLHostMatch=true fails

    I am trying to use SSL for communication between NSAPI and WebLogic
    server (server authentication at the NSAPI).
    Therefore, a custom server certificate is installed on WLS, containing this
    server's hostname. The NSAPI is configured (RequireSSLHostMatch=true) to
    check the hostname contained in the certificate against the WebLogicHost
    parameter in the "obj.conf" file. The corresponding TrustedCAFile is installed
    for NSAPI.
    The SSL setup seems to work ok, but when matching the hostname, it seems like
    NSAPI is trying to do a string-match against the numeric IP of the WebLogicHost,
    not on the hostname as configured in the WebLogicHost parameter.
    The relevant entry in the "obj.conf" file:
    <Object name="weblogic" ppath="*">
    Service fn=wl-proxy WebLogicHost=btsun2a.muc \
    WebLogicPort=7162 \
    Debug=ALL \
    SecureProxy=ON \
    TrustedCAFile=/home/qx13604/wls61/config/testdomain/TC_RootServer_PEM_Class0.pem
    RequireSSLHostMatch=true
    </Object>
    I am using WLS6.1 with NSAPI (both Solaris). The content of "wlproxy.log" is as
    follows.
    Any ideas?
    Content of "wlproxy.log":

    I tried some other case and configured a certificate containing
    the numeric IP as hostname. The authentication works fine then,
    but it wouldn't be nice to hard-code the IP in the certificate
    (btw. the WebLogicHost parameter is still given as DNS name, not
    as IP address).
    Has anyone got a solution for this?

    I am trying to use SSL for communication between NSAPI and WebLogic
    server (server authentication at the NSAPI).
    Therefore, a custom server certificate is installed on WLS, containing
    this
    server's hostname. The NSAPI is configured (RequireSSLHostMatch=true)
    to
    check the hostname contained in the certificate against the WebLogicHost
    parameter in the "obj.conf" file. The corresponding TrustedCAFile is
    installed
    for NSAPI.
    The SSL setup seems to work ok, but when matching the hostname, it seems
    like
    NSAPI is trying to do a string-match against the numeric IP of the WebLogicHost,
    not on the hostname as configured in the WebLogicHost parameter.
    The relevant entry in the "obj.conf" file:
    <Object name="weblogic" ppath="*">
    Service fn=wl-proxy WebLogicHost=btsun2a.muc \
    WebLogicPort=7162 \
    Debug=ALL \
    SecureProxy=ON \
    TrustedCAFile=/home/qx13604/wls61/config/testdomain/TC_RootServer_PEM_Class0.pem
    RequireSSLHostMatch=true
    </Object>
    I am using WLS6.1 with NSAPI (both Solaris). The content of "wlproxy.log"
    is as
    follows.
    Any ideas?

  • Time sync between AP and Controller failed

    Hi,
    I just lost one AP from vWLC and found this trap:
    Time sync between AP and Controller failed
    What that is means?
    I check time on remaining AP's and found out that time on AP's is different form wlc (time on AP's is 2 hours less than time configured on vWLC).
    On vWLC I have configured NTP and timezone.

    Ok, I try that on one ap next week, but problem is that I have 50 of them on 6m pole and many of them have same traceback in logg:

  • Table link between IBASE and its associated products

    Hi,
    If we go to the transaction IB53 and enter an IBase number, all the products asssociated with the IBase will be listed out.
    Similarly, if we have the IBASE number how can we track the associated products via tables.(i.e) the table link between IBIBIBASE and COMM_PRODUCTProduct_id
    Thanks in advance.
    -Aaru

    In two steps..
    1. Convert Product GUID using FM 'GUID_CONVERT'
      CALL FUNCTION 'GUID_CONVERT'
        EXPORTING
          iv_guid_x16 = product_guid
        IMPORTING
          ev_guid_c22 = sysuuid-c22.
    2. Get the IBASE from view v_ibinr where objnr = sysuuid-c22
