  • Palm Rejection Issue on s10-3t?

    Hi all,
I'm new to here b/c I am interested in an s10-3t. The only thing that's bothering me now is the palm rejection issue.
It is a multitouch screen, and didn't come with any stylus. If I use it for inking/writing only, I need to keep my hands up in the air...that's annoying...
Is there a proper solution to this? I saw the posts about using different stylus but they don't seem to address the palm protection issue...
    Thanks!

I have the same issue. A long crack across the touch panel and not the lcd beneath it. I asked the greek lenovo tech support if it is possible to replace the touch panel and am waiting for their answer and a quote for a price. I will post their answer here.

    Dear.
You receive error message M7096 "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 546" right.
You can use Transaction OMJJ to include the table entries. Enter 546 as the movement type and select the 'Allowed transactions' option. Make the additional entries here.
    Or,
Insert a new entry in table T158B.
    Call Transaction SM31.
Table -> 'T158B' -> select the function 'view maintenance'
    Select the function 'New entries'
Movement type (MvT):546, Transaction (Tcode):QA32;  ENTER
    F3 back; F11 save.
    It will work for you.

  • StoreKit vs ios7 rejection issues.

    Hi -
I'm having issues with my milkman games storekit ane (&swc - i'm on cs5.5) on ios7. It's not returning anything after making the initial call. Works fine on ios5,6 though.
I've a sneaking suspicion that milkman aren't around anymore (their site & twitter hasn't updated since last sept) so I'm pessimistic about obtaining an update. My .ane dates from late 2012 - does anyone know if there was an update since that version and how I can go about upgrading to it ?
does this mean that all IAPs in air created apps on the store are now malfunctioning ? Good grief !
ok, thanks for any help offered ,

Thanks Colin - I've sent them a mail anyway, and in the meantime will try out this alternative.

  • Apriori Algorith Association Chart issue

    Hello experts,
I'm just beginning with PA and need some help.
I'm applying the APriori algorithm in SAP PA with a datasource of CSV with 200 observations. The algorithm execution status is "Analysis successfully executed, results are available for visualization, switch to results view" I click OK and all the rules are displayed in the Data grid. But when I click on Association chart, it throws up an error saying "No rules are available to render the chart" even though the settings shows Support value, Confidence value and lift value is mentioned in respective dropdown.
    Can Anyone please help?

    Hi,
I would recommend that you reproduce on the latest available SP18, and contact support if this still occurs.   AGS have internal (preview) SP19 builds on which they can retest if required.

  • [Helix Gen2] Palm rejection issues

Trying out the Helix 2 right now. Shocked to find palm rejection nonexistent while writing in the standard input panel with stylus. Windows move around the screen, palm writes garbage characters, etc. Plus, no way to avoid constantly pushing home button under screen center with palm while entering text, interrupting everything. A total deal breaker. Is this common, or just my machine? Need to know within return period. (And this was my favorite of all machines! Bummer!) Wacom digitizer avoids this on other machines like Surface Pro, but not yours. Why?

If your pen is close enough to see the hover point appear, you shouldn't be able to move anything with touch. That's an easy test. If that works like it should, maybe your hover distance is small. How close do you need to get to see the cursor track the pen? I think it should be at least half an inch. If that also works, then maybe you need to adjust your writing style, putting the pen closer to the screen before laying your hand down.

  • App Rejection Code 2.23

Hello, I am trying to get a magazine app approved for Newsstand. I was just given this error. It's basically telling me that I have exceeded the storage limits on apps. I have no idea how to fix this.
I used the links they said that should help me fix the issue but it's just coding tips. I'm not a coder, just a simple designer trying to get a magazine approved haha.
How can I fix this? Any help is appreciated!
    2.23
We found that your app does not follow the iOS Data Storage Guidelines, which is required per the App Store Review Guidelines.
In particular, we found that on launch and/or content download, your app stores 6.6 MB. To check how much data your app is storing:
    - Install and launch your app
    - Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage
    - If necessary, tap "Show all apps"
    - Check your app's storage
The iOS Data Storage Guidelines indicate that only content that the user creates using your app, e.g., documents, new files, edits, etc., should be backed up by iCloud.
Temporary files used by your app should only be stored in the /tmp directory; please remember to delete the files stored in this location when the user exits the app.
Data that can be recreated but must persist for proper functioning of your app - or because customers expect it to be available for offline use - should be marked with the "do not back up" attribute. For NSURL objects, add the NSURLIsExcludedFromBackupKey attribute to prevent the corresponding file from being backed up. For CFURLRef objects, use the corresponding kCFURLIsExcludedFromBackupKey attribute.
For more information, please see Technical Q&A 1719: How do I prevent files from being backed up to iCloud and iTunes?.
It is necessary to revise your app to meet the requirements of the iOS Data Storage Guidelines.
Additionally, we found that your app has an associated free subscription, however, it does not include a mechanism for the user to sign up for the free subscription.
It is required to revise the app to include the mechanism to allow user to sign up for the free subscription. For more information, please seeNewsstand for Developers for information on Newsstand Kit.
For discrete code-level questions, you may wish to consult with Apple Developer Technical Support. Please be sure to:
    - include the complete details of your rejection issues
    - prepare any symbolicated crash logs, screenshots, and steps to reproduce the issues for when the DTS engineer follows up.
For information on how to symbolicate and read a crash log, please seeTech Note TN2151 Understanding and Analyzing iPhone OS Application Crash Reports.
If you have difficulty reproducing this issue, please try testing the workflow as described in <https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/qa/qa1764/>Testing Workflow with Xcode's Archive feature".

    Hi Bob,
So I resubmitted the app to Apple and it seems as if the in app subscription problem was fixed. So thanks for your help with that. The first issue is popping up again and this is what it says:
    2.23

I tried to check how much data the app was storing on the iPad but the option to "show all apps" wasn't there so I couldn't. I don't think there is anything you can do to help me with that (and I wrote back to apple asking about this issue.) My new question is just wondering if other people have had this issue before as well? I asked Apple about the provisioning profile, as right now it is not enabled for icloud. I asked if they want me to enable it for icloud, but have yet to get a response.
Just wondering if you have any other ideas why this issue keeps popping up? Again, thanks for all your help.

  • App rejected due to non-public api's

    Hi,
My App rejected due to non-public api's.
    Apple's Comments:
    2.5: Apps that use non-public
"We found that your app uses one or more non-public APIs, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. The use of non-public APIs is not permissible because it can lead to a poor user experience should these APIs change.
We found the following non-public API/s in your app:
_updateView (I have the method name like "_updateView" in my source, can I change the name of the method. Is it works ? )
If you have defined methods in your source code with the same names as the above-mentioned APIs, we suggest altering your method names so that they no longer collide with Apple's private APIs to avoid your application being flagged in future submissions.
Additionally, one or more of the above-mentioned APIs may reside in a static library included with your application. If you do not have access to the library's source, you may be able to search the compiled binary using "strings" or "otool" command line tools. The "strings" tool can output a list of the methods that the library calls and "otool -ov" will output the Objective-C class structures and their defined methods. These techniques can help you narrow down where the problematic code resides."
And in my application, I am using the FBConnect, SDWebImage library,  and Twitter+oAuth api's. These are non-public api's ? Now, can I integrate Jira (Crash Reporter) to my application? Can anybody solve my issue......

I have the same problem what to do with below points from the apple.
Requires help plz help me my app rejected two times with this points.

We appreciate that you may have made the precautions in your code for using non-public APIs, however, there is no way to accurately or completely predict how an API may be modified and what effects those modifications may have. For this reason, we do not permit the use of non-public APIs in App Store apps.
If there are no alternatives for providing the functionality your app requires, we encourage you to file an enhancement request. Or, try working with the Apple Developer Technical Support team to explore alternative solutions.
On occasion, there may be apps on the App Store that don't appear to be in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. We work hard to ensure that the apps on the App Store are in compliance and we try to identify any apps currently on the App Store that may not be. It takes time to identify these occurrences but another app being out of compliance is not a reason for your app to be.

  • List of issues under investigation by Tech Support

I would like to be able to see somewhere the list of issues which have been accepted by Tech Support as problems and are under investigation for correction in future releases.
Despite all care taken to stay as long as I could in LR 1.2, which after few bypasses worked fine for me, I migrated to 1.3.1 and discovered I had missed a couple of problems (Quick Develop Reset no longer works in 1.3/1.3.1, nor does flag as rejected with filter set to Pick and unflagged only).
Reading the posts made by users having the problem, I am unable to find out if Tech Support are aware of this, nor if they have accepted the problems described as issues to be fixed.

I am sure ADobe knows of the Reset Problem. Time will tell if it gets fixed with the next Version release.
I don't know about the other Pick/Reject issue.
No Adobe does not do a list of known issues displayed for Users to see.

    Hi,
Here's the rejection response for the app.
    2.2

I had the same rejection the first time. After looking online at Adobe I thought it was a billing issue, so managed to get that rectifed. I hadnt used a shared secret (as it hadnt shown up because, I thought, the billing wasnt setup correctly). After we corrected the billing, I had access to the shared secret which I have used.
Any ideas what else this could be?
The app is a magazine app which is for free subscription. That's the inapp purchase. No folio in app purchases, because they are free. Sent with the first version on the magazine published, although Apple coulnt have got to it as the subscription time's out.
Help! Because this is the second rejection, it's two weeks on and I am getting close to an event which I must have the app live for.
    Thanks for any help,
    Matt

    Hi Neil,
I used the guide to make the issue — so I think everything is in place.
The first time around our billing wasn't setup so I didn't get to generate a shared secret. The second time I did.
I generated the secret — which I can view under the in app purchase for the (free) subscription in manage in-app purchases. That code I pasted into the admin account iTunes Connect Shared Secret panel for the same customer ID (Account ID). I opened the Folio Producer Organiser afterward — how do you know it registers the code? I didn't see anything to indicate such.
One thing — not sure if it's relevant — whenever the app fails it highlights in yellow the languages in the in-app purchase. I selected more languages this time to cover all the different kinds of English. Again, not sure if that's relevant?
Plus when I click the link to view the app in the app store it says it’s not in the UK store and tries to switch to the US, which if you allow it then says it can’t find. I think this is because it’s not approved and the link will be good when that happens (hence I copied that into the section just below the shared secret on the DPS account admin panel).
Honestly, I am a wee bit stumped now.

  • The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again.

installed eBook and authorized on Adobe Digital Edition and was able to read eBook earlier.
Due to some issue I had to reinstall the eBook. Now I am unable to read eBook it is asking for Authorization and when I input my Adobe ID and pass it gives message 'The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open .Try again'.
I have wasted whole day trying fixing but it does not work, i wasted my money for purchasing eBook that works on Adobe Digital Edition which only adds complexity and wasting peoples time.
Is there anyone who can help answering how can I fix vendor account not associated message issue, while i am entering correct Adobe ID and pass.

I have iPad having iOS 5.1.1 and it works absolutely fine for me without any bug.
What are the recovery steps to get rid of this issue? We have worked a lot for this aaplication and we need to get approved by apple.

    Hi Bob
I have a critical question. We have few applications, not only one. My question is concerning "Shared Secret". We are used one unique "Shared Secret" for all our applications. Should we generate a new shared secret code for each of them or one unique "Shared Secret" is valid for all of them?...
Since three weeks our apps are rejected periodically. We have one accepted app. We have compared all areas in DPS App Builder and iTunes Connect. When we look at the step-by-step check list, there is no problem. Also, if we test the developper api in our iPad, everything is fine, there's no problem (Screenshot is in the attachment).
Thank you so much for your help…

  • Network issues in Openstack deployment

I've recently had success following the Oracle document at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/openstack/linux/documentation/oracle-openstack-user-guide-2296176.pdf
I've configured a controller node and a compute node and can deploy instances from images without issue. I am however having a problem getting an IP address on the actual host. Inside Openstack it assigns the IP but in the Cirros test image I cannot get an IP. I've also installed several other images and again, no IP address is assigned. I then assigned the IP manually and I'm still not able to ping hosts on the same subnet.
The security rules are correct and added for ICMP and SSH and I've even added a router and floating public IPs associated without issue.
I believe my OVS config might be the problem but I'm a noob in this area and need some assistance. Can anyone tell me if I'm missing part of my bridge from the output below?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
