Assortment module - contract - how to check material belongs to ***.module?

Hi Sap experts,
Is there a possibility in transaction VA41 (Contract) to check which materials belogs to Assortment module. I don't want to open new session each time (WSO3)..

Hi,
Highligtht the line item and go to details (in VA42/VA43).
There is a tab called assorment module, where in the system can display the materials assigned to the assortment module.

You can see current price of material through MM03 .
Any adjustment can be done using MR21 .

How to restrict Material Class in Sales Contract Doc

Hi,
I need to restrict Material Class in Sales order based on Item catagory, Material group4 and Sales contract Document type.
If the above 3 fields having a particular value then the system should restrict all the other classes of that material and display only a particular class and it's related characteristics.
If any one come across such a senario then pklease let me know.

How to check for a function module,with its description and its functionality,in detail how can I know the purpose of a particular function module,how to search for a function module which suits my requirement .

Hi,
You can search a FM of your requirement by putting in the Key words and searching for a FM. Like * KEYWORD * and then pressing F4.
Say for example you need to search something regarding converstion.
Search for * CONVERT * and press F4.
If there is something specfic like converting date to something you can give
DATE * CONVERT *
OR
CONVERT * DATE * and press F4.
Once you narrow down your search you will have a Function module documentation inside the Function module. Please note that all the FMs willl not have documentation.

CIN: How to check the material document posted without excise invoice

Hi Guru,
Please advise how to check the material document posted without excise invoice.
I have tried tcode J1I7 but it seems start to collect the excise invoice first and then material document.
But my case is to find the material document WITHOUT excise invoice for internal tracking purpose.
At the moment we start from tcode MB51 to get the list of material document and check in J_1IEXCHDR / J_1IEXCDTL

Try creating a Query in Tcode SQVI by combining tables MKPF and J_1IEXCHDR/J_1IEXCDTL for your requirement.

Please help me...
I have inputted quantity for tx MC 94 but when I input them into tx MC94, I met a message " Structure not yet maintained for this conbination characterstics". Step by step to show a error message as below:
Step 1: Launch MC 94
step 2: Enter Planning
Step 3: Enter Prod.Code. Material (ex: enter material code :0101010260008, this code is existed Prod.Code )
Step 4: Click on "Inactive Version " button
==> A error message is showed.
Please help me how to check a material does existed group code in system (which table to check it)?

1. Check in MC8C, which Infostructure is used for Planning type "Planning" or the one you are entering in the intial screen of MC94.
2. Using transaction MC63 for the infostructure identified in step 1, check the planning hierarchy maintained. If this product is not maintined maintain using MC62.
You can also check using SE16 transction the current infostructe records(Plan) for the table name = infostructure identified in step 1.

1 How to check weather a material created is active or not.
2 MIGO standard document has a check button, can we have similar check button in other documents like Purchase requisition.
3 In case of material valuation is Standard (Price control), the costing is done on the basis of the Standard Price or actual cost of the raw material.
I will be thankful for your advice.

There is a Blue "i" button for the Material, pls click that it will show you the current status..

for PR you can see the check button( CtrlShiftF3) beside personal settings

How to check if function module exist

Hi All!
Does anyone know how to check if function module, which name is provided by the user, exists?
I have to execute a function but when user provides a incrrect name - i receive a short dump. I would like to chceck if this function exists before execution and if not - warn user with message box.

from the link given , it describes that for self service parts planning code is "SPP" . Can you please confirm ?It is part of "Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)", so run the query in (How to Find Out Product Installation Information in Oracle Applications? [ID 1275690.1]) and pass the module name.
Similary can we get the product codes for all shared products, installed products and non-installed products. The doc referenced above in this reply will list all the module names, with the product codes and the status.

I would like to know how to generate or view the material consumption at table level. Can anyone please specify the transactions codes and tables names how to check the consumption of material. I also like to know how to analysis the consumption of material between components and finished material. Please provide me the step by step wise how to do.Thanking you

You can calculate material consumption in table MSEG. you will need to segregate the material documents based on movement types and then add or reduce the quantities of each material document. for example a material document with movement 101, add the quantity for the material, and when there is a issue material document like 201 or 221 reduce the quantity from the material stock.

1. How to make material availability check work during Work Order creation?
My requirement is Work Order can not be created when it has missing parts. I have set the config to '3' can not created when is has missing parts, but it still does not work.
I have implemented SAP Notes 1148139 on my system (SAP ECC 6 Ehp 5) also, but still does not have any effect.
I must not set the config Res./Purch Doc creation to 'immediately', because it does not fit to my user requirement. Is there anyone knows how to solve this requirement?
2. How to make information message/ Availability check screen appear when sparepart is missing, without clicking Availability Check button? for example: appear when clicking Save button.

go to transaction MB52 , in the selection screen enter the material and the material group that you want the results for, and execute. You will get desired results.

Product Hierarchy:
Product Hierarchy is used to group the materails by combining features. It is used for analyses and pricicng. A produch hierarchy can consist of upto 18 characters. Its features can be combined in various ways, the following figure gives an example of how materials can be grouped using product hierarchy.
Product Hierarchy: Electrical Appliances(00001): 1. Dry Appliances(00001), 1.1 Electri Stoves(00000001), 1.2 Food Processors(00000002); 2. Wet Appliances(00002), 2.1 Washing Machine(00000001), 2.2 Dish washer(00000002).
In this case, a dish washer can be describered by product hierarchy 000010000200000002.
This is called as Product Hierarchy.
Assortment Module:
This is one type of Value contract using assortment module (Contract Type: WK1). Firstly we have to create Assortment Module using T.code: WSO1, and enter the group of material in the assortment module and save. and then create contract and assign the Assortment module number in the contract and enter the value and save the document. after that is same like other contract.

Hi,
I have created assortment module for certain material. When i use the same for creating Value Contract the material is not coming automatically from Assortment module.
We need to put it manually.
Pls help for the same on config.settings to resolve the issue.

Check the org units. Only materials with the same sales organization and distribution channel as the value contract can be taken from the assortment module. All the other materials in the assortment module are not displayed in the value contract.
Also check your 'Listing Procedure' and 'Assortment Priorities'.
