ASTE_AcrobatSte_10_WWEFD download corrupted
I've tried to download the Adobe Acrobat X Suite installation files twice now and both times the file was corrupted!
Does anyone know how to get hold of uncorrupted downloads?
I have tried this and file still keeps coming down corrupted. So far I have tried FireFox and InternetExplorer... how many more browsers should I try?
Can you please supply a direct link or FTP access or something? At least give me the md5 checksums of the valid files so I can compare the checksums after download to easily determine the files are valid.

The checksums are different, they should be the same if the files downloaded the same.

Oracle 9.0.1 Linux Intel Images on Downloads corrupt
The Oracle 9.0.1 Enterprise DataBase software for Linux Intel downloadable version on the Oracle Technology Network has 2 of the Disk images currently corrupt.
After downloading all the 3 Oracle 9.0.1 Database CD images in binary for Linux Intel from the Oracle Technology network, Disk1 and Disk2 images were found to be bad.
Disk 1 and Disk2 images could not be decompressed using gunzip or cpio. The following errors occur on linux
Disk1:
gunzip -df Linux9i_Disk1.cpio.gz
gunzip: Linux9i_Disk1.cpio.gz: unexpected end of file
Disk2:
gunzip -df Linux9i_Disk2.cpio.gz
gunzip: Linux9i_Disk2.cpio.gz: unexpected end of file
Cpio extraction is also suspect:

I have put in a request for support on Metalink and posted
a note on this on the Database-general and Installation,
Technology Linux and the OTN Member feedback Forums. But have got no feedback on this so far. Oracle Support have
recommended putting a note on the OTN forums as they have
no means of validating the Oracle 901 Linux images on OTN.
If the Oracle 901 Linux images could be checked and feedback provided, that would help.

MalaYes. The filesizes of the Oracle 901 Intel images
on OTN match with what I downloaded in binary mode.
I found a reference in one of the DBMS forums on OTN
which suggested using the download tool from Getright.
Using the getright tool and the direct url link path
reference I downloaded the oracle 901 Linux images again
from OTN. This time I was able to run gunzip and
cpio -imdv successfully on all the 3 oracle 901 Linux
images without any isssues.

Adobe App Manager - Photoshop CS6 Download Corrupt
After clicking install, Photoshop CS6 will get to about 62% done, when it stops, says there is an error, that the file is corrupt, and that I should try again in a few minutes. Been trying all day with no different results.
Is there a cache I need to clear?

Mountain Lion download corrupts hard drive!!
I am trying to re-download Mountain Lion to create a boot jump drive so I can reinstall Mountain Lion clean. After download I can not open "mount" the installEDS.dmg file. Error pops up stating invalid checksums and I can not complete the process of creating the boot jump drive. I check Disk Utility/Verify Disk and see these results: Disk Utility/Verify Disk reports, Incorrect block count for file installEDS.dmg, Volume Bitmap needs minor repair, The volume is now corrupt and needs repair.
So.. I restart the computer through recovery hard drive option so that I can repair the disk. I am able to successfully repair the disk. The computer is still working.
I repeat the Mountain Lion down load process, attempt to create the boot jump drive and again.... installEDS.dmg will not mount, invalid checksums. I check Disk Utility/Verify Disk. The volume is now corrupt and needs repair. I repeated this 4 times (I have a slow connection DSL 6mb). Same results! I repeated once on a different day (App Store server problems maybe?). Same results!
The reason I want to do a clean install of Mountain Lion is because I have constant kernel panics. Kernel panics are (4 to 5) in an hour. When this happens I attempt to restart the computer. After second computer restart (kernel panic upon first restart attempt), the computer will last a day without a kernel panic! I have attempted to address the kernel panics, (removing 3rd party programs, latest updates, etc.) I can not pin down the problem. I have experienced kernel panics after sleep, kernel panics when shutting down or restart, kernel panics after turning off blue tooth, basically kernel panics under every application so far. I have ran the hardware test, (from snow leopard CD), no hardware errors. Ran memtest from single user mode, no memory errors. I do realize that these programs may not catch bad hardware.. and will be contacting OWC for memory and drive support as another avenue. Computer specifications are:
MacBook Pro 7.1, Mid2010, 2.4 Ghz, Snow Lepoard 10.6.8, OWC 8g Memory purchased Jan 2012 (Offically 4 supported), OWC 240g SSD purchased May 2012 Everything worked flawless until mountain lion upgrade!
So I would like to reinstall Mountain Lion clean, but can not, because I can not down load a clean copy of Mountain Lion. My only thought is to install Snow Leopard on another drive and re-download Mountain Lion on that.
Any thoughts on these questions: Is the application corrupted? Does my current install of Mountain Lion corrupt new downloads? Is it my hardware? (Will schedule a visit with Apple store as well, when I can get to Chicago)

Web Pages and file download corruption Cisco VPN
We have a problem our users are having. Clients are having problems using Cisco 5.06 VPN along with Internet Explorer. Quite often web pages hang or load incorrectly or unformatted. Also links to documents or downloads are downloaded unusable (i.e. a PDF file that is corrupt). If you refresh the page or retry the download it will work eventually. None of these problems exist while they are directly on the corporate network. (Win7 32-bit OS)
Our standard corporate VPN installation package uses Cisco VPN 5.0.06.0160 which installs version 3.22.4.17992 of DNE (Deterministic Network Enhancer), It also installs the DNE Update version 4.9.1.1837. This combination works correctly in our standard corporate build. The problem exists in two of non-standard builds on a couple different hardware models.
If I uninstall the DNE update and the VPN client and just install the VPN client by itself without the DNE Update (which leaves the client at 3.22.4.17992 for DNE) the problem goes away and the web pages load correctly and the files download properly.
I have tried the latest DNE, and updates to the NIC driver without success. Any suggestions or logic to why the newer versions of DNE will not work. The hardware we are using are high end HP and Dell Mobile workstations that are only about a year old. We have a problem our users are having. This will cause DLM (Dynamic Line Management) to kick in and lower your speeds because it will interpret the restarts as a fault. It is normal for the speeds to fluctuate during the training period. If things do not improve after the ten day training period post back for more advice.

Failed Mavericks download corrupts Safari
Trying to update to Mavericks (from Mountain Lion 10.8.5) failed due to low bandwith.
In the process, Safari got corrupted (shows as "not-responding").
Any way to get Safari working again (under OsX 10.8.5)?Low bandwidth?
The issue is that you need to restore OS X using OS X Recovery and that requires a high speed broandband connection.
How did you download Mountain Lion? That was a 4.35GB file.

Same for us - episode 6. I have read A LOT of posts regarding this issue and tried everything to fix it - with no luck. The problem is not with your computer/iTunes. It is with the Apple servers. You can file a request for help with Apple Support (as we did) but nothing helps (at least on a Mac).

Network Magic Add-on for Mac - download corrupt?
Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but I am having difficulty loading the Mac add-on from the Cisco site. I opted for the 7 day free trial to check that it works OK before purchasing the add-on. The file "NetworkMagic.dmg" downloads OK but then I get a warning that the disk image failed to mount. The reason given is that "no mountable file systems". I am using Mac OS X on a Powerbook. Having looked around the Mac forums it seems that this warning message indicates that the file is corrupt. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it a problem with the file as I think?

The problem is not what you suggest. I have dutifully performed upgrades almost every day. Some of them take half the day to perform since I have a backup HDD which needs the same upgrade. The size of recent upgrades has made the system unuseable for most of the day waiting for the upgrades to finish.
That being said, I have a system that is up to date. This does not say that I know what each and every package downloaded and installed does for the system. Some things cause repercussions.
In this case, the repercussions are in an arch-related Live USB boot system wherein I use a cachedir of pacman packages which can be installed via pacman -U into the live system. This live system is not subject to archlinux upgrades which permit the use of pacman .gz and pacman .xz packages.
Therefore when utilizing xz packages in the cachedir, pacman -U cannot install xz extension packages (nor can it delete them since it cannot handle a "corrupt" package).
What has happened is the archlinux admins have decided to utilize the xz format and have provided for it . in a normal sense for usual download and installs.
It seems that cachedir packages installed via pacman -U do not fit the "normal" install mode. Therefore, the corrupt package result.
The cachedir I utilize saves time and is a raid cache which installs rapidly. It has 16 gb of storage available.
Whazzup? I need to know how to provide for a compatible pacman -U install of both gz and xz packages in a live usb archlinux based OS.
Certainly the pacman -U cammand is not dead yet. But it isn't compatible with the xz format.
I have used my raid cache for two years or more and now its defunct.

I was downloading Flex SDK 4.5 MPL, the open source version, but the downloaded file was only about 13M bytes and not a valid zip archive.

Where can I find MD5/SHA1 checksums to check the integrity?Exactly the same, reported as a bug to flex bug tracker last week, no action since. I assume the zip is either part of a multi-part series or is just corrupt, very frustrating though! Hope someone spots this or the ticket soon.
