ASU Toolbox and EHP4

Hi All,
I've a SAP ERP 6.0 and I want to upgrade to SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4, do I need or should use ASU Toolbox 2008?
Most of the steps, if not tall, are need to upgrade from older release do ERP 6.0...

Lenovo toolbox and fingerprint software stopped working on Thinkpad W700 Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

After installing Lenovo Updates an unknown USB device appeared in device manager. Per the instructions of a Lenovo support person I performed a system restore to a time prior to the updates. After doing that the Lenovo Toolbox and Fingerprint software would no longer work. I tried another system restore back to the latest date and that did not solve the problem. I also tried reinstalling both the Toolbox and the finger print software and they still won't work. When I try to launch either of those apps I get an error message saying that they have stopped working and that the system was checking online for a solution, with no result. It's my impression that the system restore screwed up something in the OS or the system registry that is a dependency for those two programs. The only suggestion Lenovo support could give me is to re-image the system. I would prefer to find the cause and fix that rather than reload the entire system. I would love to know what could cause these two programs to stop working when the other Lenovo utilities seem to work fine. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of the tool box are you using?Mine would not open after installting updates but after installating the latest version its working fine

Developer toolbox and CS5.5

Hello,
I would like to upgrade from Adobe CS4 to 5.5. But I do have one concern. I am used to work with the Developer Toolbox and I am afraid it won't work anymore with CS5.5? Is there a possiblity to use it in CS5.5 or is there something similar in CS5.5? What is the solutione?

Can I move the Toolbox and Menu panels in Elements 12 Editor to one side when the monitor (1920x1080, 16:9) is in the lanscape position, and to the bottom when the monitor is rotated to the vertical position, so that I can work on the largest image possible?

I think you can .
1. Use extended monitor.
2. Open Photoshop Elements. Make sure following option is checked:
Edit>Preferences>General: Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode
3. Create a new floating document and drag it to the second monitor.
Start working on the first monitor(having PSE) with canvas on second monitor....

I was looking through the release notes for EHP3 and EHP4.
But I'm unable to focus on the technical news. It is sorted by functional modules or industries.
Can someone provide me the main tehnical news (printing forms, abap codes, ..) that are included ?
Or do you know how I can find the technical improvements of these packages ?

EHP3 and EHP4 compatibiltiy

Hi All,
In my project, client had asked to work on EHP4, now the requirements have changed to install few reports in EHP3.
but there are some financial reports tht i have installed and loaded data and they are working fine in the BI system w.r.t EHP4.
Now I need to install some EHP3 Financial reports
Please respond if there will be any issues to have both EHP4 and EHP3 reports in the same BI system?

As I understood, EHP3 and EHP4 are two sorcxe system and you want to run the reports in the same BI box w.r.to these two source system. This can be done. There should not be a proble. You will be having two datasource that will corresponds to these two siurce syatem respectively.

I bought a magazine template from Pages Toolbox and it's only showing 2 pages out of 10 why?

This morning I bought a template from the Pages Toolbox Kit. It's a new magazine template and when I viewed it before I bought it there were 10 pages. I procedded to buy it. When I opened it to work on it it is only showing the cover and the first page. Where are the missing pages on the template. I have tried everything and it is not working, does anyone know what the problem is....please help thanks!

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Where's the toolbox and other editing features in iPhoto?

Hello!
When I select a photo to edit on my iPad Air in iPhoto, it only has "rotate", "enhance", "filter" and "crop" at the bottom of the screen. I do not see the toolbox or other editing features such as the "brushes" or the "rotate compass". How can I see the other editing features on iPhoto? Thanks for the help!

SPDD & SPAU and EhP4 before or after ?

Hello all
We intend to go for upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6 with EHP4 ..We are planning to have SPDD & SPAU first then install EhP4 and then again SPDD & SPAU. But my question is in order to save time can we skip the initial SPDD & SPAU analysis n fixation part and directly go to EhP4 installation and then do the SPDD & SPAU analysis .?

Rgrding the SPAU and SPDD...I would suggest that the way you have taken is correct...
Because you are upgrading ECC6 from 4.6c and i can expect there are lot of customization!
so first to SPAU & SPDD after ECC6 again after ENh4 (because enhancement package can bring some new feature alongside the ECC6)...
In that way it is easy to maintain the system and existing code...

Toolbox and Battery Maximiser

I just installed the new Lenovo Thinkvantage Toolbox on my T42p. It advised installing Power Manager. I started the installation and it said that the Battery Maximiser would have to be removed before installation could continue. I said okay and nothing happened. I have tried it several times with the same results. Battery Maximiser does not appear in the add/remove software list.
The error in Toolbox continues to say that my battery condition cannot be determined without Power Manager installed.
How can I remove Battery Maximiser and install Power Manager?

On lenovo webpage it's implied that:- "The Thinkpad Software Installer provides install/uninstall wizard for this package." [i.e. Batter Maximiser]

Cs3 DW, ADDT toolbox and CF8

My fresh install is locking up.
Is anyone actually running toolbox, DW CS3 and CF8?
Tech support says that Toolbox is not compatible with DW8, but can't explain why it locks up even when I'm not connected (remote or testing) when I try to use the control panel.
It seems to me that the problem is between DW CS3 and Toolbox.

As usual you have saved the day.
Firstly, I renamed the WinFileCache... file, opened up DW CS3 and the problem appears to have been resolved.
Secondly, now, that is a very interesting question regarding Daylight Savings which ended on 6th Apr, last weekend. Yesterday, 9th Apr, was the first time I had used DW CS3 since the week before last. (Have been on vacation. Now, I installed DW CS3 in Aug 2007 so yesterday was the first time it has been used since the ending of Daylight Savings last weekend. I did not experience this with DW-UD4, DW MX 2004 or DW 8 in previous years that I can recall.

Exchange 2013 issues along with toolbox and exchange powershell

I have a server 2012 with exchange 2013, no errors on install, we have about 50 user mailboxes setup. about 3-5 times a day sending and receiving will stop working, we have to reboot about 3 or 4 times then it starts working again.
Also the Exchange power shell doesnt work, we get :

Please check if this user was in Organization Management Group. If not, please use the following cmdlet to add this user to this group.
Add-RoleGroupMember “OrganizationManagement” -Member <member>
If this issue still exists, Run Setup /PrepareSchema and Setup /PrepareAD again.

For Windows 8 client computers, turn on "IIS-ASPNET45" in "Turn Windows Features On/Off" under "Internet Information Services-> World Wide Web Services -> Application Development Features -> ASP.NET 4.5".

How do you copy/move the ASU Toolbox task list from one system to another

We are upgrading from 3.5 to 7.01 and have maintained the the task list in /n/asu/upgrade in our sandbox. I would like to be able to move the task list to our other systems so I don't have to reenter the tasks again. I know the base tasks are in an xml file but I don't know which one.
Does anyone know how to move/copy the tasks from one system to another?

I agree with Antonio, but since we don't know if the Mail app on the Mini is the same version as the one on your new iMac, I'd err on the side of caution and allow Mail on the new iMac to set up; additionally, I'd prefer to start with a new preference file. In order to make it easier, you could take screenshots of all the account windows on the Mini. You can then use those to enter the info when setting up Mail on the new iMac.
After Mail is set up, quit Mail. Go to the location outlined by Antonio (Users-Library-Mail) and compare the folders with the folders from the old Mail app; i.e. the new Inbox folder should be empty -> remove that (drag to trash) and replace it with your old Inbox folder (same with Sent, etc). If you have old folders not found in the new location, add them.
When done, open Mail and your folders and emails should all be there.

This should be answered looking at the responstime problems , storage problems or other technical challenges using one or the other.
