Async operation always fails
Hello everybody.
I've a a problem when I want to apply the security changes to a community and all his sub-objects.
The "Async operation for ..." always fails.
That's what the log says :

What is the problem ? I didn't delete the operation.

Hi. I had the same problem for the last few days. I just figured out that it seemed that something went wrong (didn't complete) in the 'Install Packages' step. Rerun this step immediately after the error and the install could continue normally.
Update:
I just realized that doing the above will NOT for sure solve the problem, but it's something to try. Anyway, you should see a lot of:
Installing a ...
Installing b ...
Parsing hook [...]
Parsing hook [...]
after the packages you select finish downloading. When the error in this post happens, I'm guessing you don't see these.
Correct, I read somewhere else that the packages not installing correctly (ie at all) is having the arch kernel already installed in /boot, although not the best solution, during the install I reformated my /boot partition and it fixed my error of none of the packages installing correctly. However if you do get the "failed to import network settings" and some of the packages have already been installed, try redownloading the packages again, and try a different mirror.

I have flexunit project which I am trying to run on linux server.
1. I have Tests project.
2. I am trying to compile it on linux server and creating Tests.swf file and then executing Tests.swf using ant on 64 bit linux server using standalone flash debug player.
3. Tests project contains 4 tests and first tests always fail with following error,

DG端不定期报waiting for async I/Os failed错误
大家好，我这边数据库主库是RAC，物理DG端也是RAC，都采用的ASM，存储，DG端最近总是时不时的报错：

有时就报一两次，有时一下报一天，但看DG进程还都在，数据也都实时追着，不知道有什么影响，甚至有一次MRP0自己DOWN掉不知道和这个有没有关系，实际去ASM中查看文件可以访问，检测坏块也没有，删掉重建redo仍有此问题，删掉整个库从新做主从仍然有此问题，希望大家帮看看，感激

Naming sync and async operation
Hi there,
Does somebody know what is the rule for naming the synchronous version of an asynchronous operation (or vice verse)? Also, is the implementation pattern for the Create/Update/Delete/Sync EBO based EBS operations always supposed to be asynchronous request-response (while synchronous for Query/QueryList)?
I know that Process() can be designed as both synchronous and asynchronous, but can the aforementioned have their synchronous version as well (asynchronous for Query/QueryList)?

Software update always fails due to "unknown error"
When I attempt to install software updates on my Macbook Air the process always fails with an error message that says "unable to install due to unexpected error" (or something like that). Any ideas how to fix this problem? I've found some references to this problem in the discussions but the proposed fix didn't work for me.

I've done just about everything I know how to do... but NetRestore via System Image Utility always fails. Here's what I get in the log. I thought it was a permissions issue, but I fixed perms and did the "get info/apply to enclosed items" trick and I still get the same error. One way to get around this would be to go into System Image Utility Preferences and make sure "Block copy the source volume" is checked under "Apple Software Restore Options". This will do a device level copy of the disk, instead of a file level copy. -

Only when the string LV_SUMMARY is edited from within the debugger (add space to the string prefix, etc), the SY-SUBRC will be 0 and there'll be data found in LT_RESULT.
How can I resolve this issue? Please do help. Thanks.I think the subtle difference is that in your first example the character is actually '#' whereas in the second example it is actually another (unprintable)value such-as line-feed and only APPEARS to be '#'.
You must find out what the value in question is(will it always be the same value?) and then replace that instead of '#'. -

System Image Utility always fails, why?
Hi everyone,
on my clean and fresh install of 10.7.4 Server the System Image Utility always fails to create an image. I want to create a NetInstall image and have put the OS X Lion Installer in /Applications. I can select it in SIU and choose to create a NetInstall image. It asks for the admin pw and always presents an error at the very end: Image creation failed. An unknown error has occured.
If I select to create a NetBoot image instead it fails directly after clicking on the Create button with this slightly different message: Image creation failed. An error has occured. At least it’s no unknown error…
Any ideas what might be causing this? I have succesfully created NetInstall images with 10.6 Server and 10.8 Server, but 10.7 Server somehow won’t play nice.

I first deleted the Installer and redownloaded it from the App Store, just to make sure there was no problem with it. Even though I now have the 10.7.4 Installer (had 10.7.0 before) nothing has changed. I then went on to set the log level as suggested. I now get different errors based on the chosen log level.
Log level set to debug:
Image creation failed.
*** -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil
Log level set to verbose:
Image creation failed.
An unknown error has occurred.
I did not see anything helpful in the logs unfortunately. The only noticeable thing mentioned was: Failed to create image from installer media.
Any additional ideas? I will attach both logs here, just in case.

I'm trying the "Oracle JDeveloper 11g Tutorials" - "Create a Simple EJB Session Bean", I just follow the instructions in that page. But when I tried to run it, it always failed. Can anyone help me to have a look. I paste the log below. thank you.

I'm facing the same issue as user#####.
Your workaround does not work ; when I deploy manuelly the ear file, with a new weblogic-application.xml, I get the same error.
Does that happen a lot ? :p

Dear All,
I am trying to insert a image file (gif) to one of my field.
1. Here is my table structure and trying to insert gif image file to PIC file.
SQL> desc cis2.david_pic

2. I using sql command to create directory and the path is pointing where the DB
server was installed.
SQL> create or replace directory MY_FILES as '\\hkqaa-db1\TEXT_IMPORT';
3. Written a script to insert empty blob first and than trying to use the dbms_lob.fileopen
to upload the gif file.

Please try avoiding
1. the 'hyphen' in between the path (hkqaadb1 instead of hkqaa-db1)
2. Give direct path like 'C:\TEXT_IMPORT' instead of network path.

Operations manager failed to run a wmi query for wmi events (0x800706ba)
Hi everyone,
I've been working on this issue for a while and I am still no closer to finding out what the problem is. If anybody can offer any other advice or things to check, I'm all ears.
I'm running SCOM 2012 R2 with UR2, and the Cluster Management Pack v6.0.7063.0
My problem is on one particular batch of cluster servers where I am getting the following error.

Alert Description:
Module was unable to enumerate the WMI data
Error: 0x800706ba
Details: The RPC server is unavailable
Workflow name: Microsoft.Windows.Cluster.Node.StateMonitoring

I am getting this alert regardless of whether I run the Windows Cluster Action Account as Local System, or as a domain user with full local admin privileges on all the cluster nodes.
When looking at the management pack and the workflow in particular (Microsoft.Windows.Cluster.Node.StateMonitoring), I can see that it's trying to access
MSCluster_Node in the root\MSCLUSTER WMI namespace.

I can confirm that I am able to browse the MSCluster_Node class locally, as well as remotely using WMIEXPLORER and WBEMTEST,
however it only works when I set the Authentication Level to
Packet Privacy. If I do not select Packet Privacy, a WMI event log error 5605 is logged on the remote servers application log that says...
The root\mscluster namespace is marked with the RequiresEncryption flag. Access to this namespace might be denied if the script or application does not have the appropriate authentication level. Change the authentication level to Pkt_Privacy
and run the script or application again.
I can confirm that all firewalls are turned off, and there are no firewalls between the management servers and the agents in question. AV exclusions have been done and appear to be in place. The nodes are all Windows 2008 R2 with SP1. As
far as I can tell there is plenty of memory available on each of the nodes in question (50%+) of RAM is available.
If I manually run the "Discover the Windows Server 2008 R2 Cluster Components" task in the Cluster Service State section of the management pack in the Monitoring Pane in the console, on the nodes in question - the discovery runs successfully.
Does anybody have any other ideas or suggestions I could try?
