At least 100 messages a day in bulk mail!
I am receiving at least 100 messages a day from Zero Gravity in my bulk mail
I am loathe to click on the link to unsubscribe in case I open a further can of worms
Any ideas how I can stop this as every time I go into my mail there are usually 20 new emails in my bulk mail from this company

Added info - The actual error message is "The exception Breakpoint. A breakpoint has been reached. (0x80000003) occurred in the application at location 0x70c81425. Click OK to terminated." Hope that helps a bit.

1000's of Returned Mail messages every day!
Hi All,
I am receiving thousands of Returned Mail and Undeliverable Mail messages every day in my Mail application.
Here is the problem description:
I used to have a MobileMe (.mac) account and a corresponding email address. I did not renew my MobileMe account this year. Now, whenever Mail receives any valid message to my existing RoadRunner email address, that same message is being automatically resent to the defunct .mac email address and since it is no longer a valid address, it is being returned to my inbox as Undeliverable or Returned. The same message is being resent apparently many many times for each valid message I receive in my inbox. The result is literally thousands of undeliverable email messages clogging my account. Each time it is resent, it copies all the headers and the original message so by the time the same message is received over and over again the message sizes are well over 2 MB in size! It is an endless repeating cycle.
What I have done so far:
Called RoadRunner - they said to delete and reinstall Mail
Deleted Mail and reinstalled
Deleted Mail preferences
Turned off all iSync functions
Searched for and deleted all references to the invalid .mac email address on my computer
Turned off all notifications from iCal
Upgraded OS from 10.5.x to 10.6.7
None of this has stopped the torrents of messages…PLEASE HELP.
Would not like to have to erase the hard drive and reinstall the OS from scratch if possible.

BernAre the returned messages showing all different recipients? If so, it's possible someone has hacked into your MobileMe account and is using it to send out spam.
A brute force spamming will result in thousands of failed return messages. That happens when a spammer sends out mail to a know mail server, such as Hot Mail. They'll send the same message to [email protected], [email protected], etc. Do this for thousands of addresses and many will be returned by the receiving server as undeliverable because there is no user on their system by [email protected], and any other address with no match.
Or, your address is simply being spoofed by a prolific spammer. They picked up your email address as a valid address and are spoofing it in the From field. Doesn't matter that the thousands of emails that went out from them with your name as the sender didn't come from you, the receiving server just assumes it did and you get the bounce messages.
For the first, go in and change your password and see if that stops the flow. For the latter, there's really nothing you can do. Spammers will only use someone's address for a short while. Otherwise, the "from" address gets blacklisted automatically by mail servers, which would cut off the spammer's ability to send out more crap in your name. Then it's someone else who has to put up with it for a few days. -
When I try to listen to certain songs a message pops up that the original file could not be found. Do you want to locate file? I don't know how this happened and I don't know what to do. I have tried repairing Itunes and also uninstallng and reinstalling. I have restarted my computer and even done some troubleshooting. When I tried hooking my ipod up to my computer to see if that would help I got a message that said "At least 100 songs could not be transferred, including "You found me."" I have no such song in my itunes. Can itunes get a virus?

Since you never changed the settings in the advanced section of iTunes preferecnes, you have to chech that your music is really in the location setted in the folders reported in the advanced section. If not you have 2 ways: reset the position of this folders or in the actual disk organisation or in the pointing on the preferences.
If you press the reset button you just give to itunes its default setting as for the position of the music files: probably this will be a good choice if you have never changed any default preference.
But before I would check the folders and see if the songs are really there

At least 5 times a day FF crashes and the error is basically "Exception Breakpoint Reached" . I have no idea how to fix this and asking FF to reply is a waste of energy. Once you're on a spammer's list, there's nothing you can do to stop the flood of e-mail messages. You can either control it, using spam filtering (which is what files those messages in the Junk Mail folder), or you can throw out your e-mail address and get a new one.
It's sad, but spam is simply a fact of life at this point, and there's nothing to be done about it. Legislation has been tried, with zero success, since most spam either comes from countries with no legislation or from personal computers that have been infected with malware and are part of a "botnet." -
I use BB Bold 9790 and my battery which could at least,last for a day now at most,lasts for an hour and half.

An more so can't afford to buy a new one cos its a little pricey.Oh, then reread Post 2 please, for the last paragraph gives you options to proceed with. Not knowing which you desire to use, I'll just give you a bunch and you can choose.
The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:

It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:

Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.
You may also want to investigate the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe it is capable of.
You may also want to try the "Bare Bones OS Reload Procedure" to attempt to narrow down the precise causal item:
Load your OS "bare bones"...if anything is optional, do not install it.
If the behavior presents immediately, then try a different OS with step 1
If the behavior does not immediately present, then run for as long as it takes for you to be sure that the behavior will not present.
Add one thing -- no matter how tempting, just one.
If the behavior does not present immediately, then again run for long enough to be sure it will not have the same problem
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are loaded or the behavior presents
When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.
If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.
If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.

I have updated software on itunes and my iphone4 and at least 100 of my songs in itunes will no longer play or sync on to my iphone. They all have an exclamation mark! to the left of the song title in the library. Please help!

I know that TransactionScope does
the trick but is limited to 100 messages. And I know that if I send the messages as a Batch operation, the total size of the message is limited which causes the batches to be splited in different batches and the transaction is not guaranteed. And I think that
the issue with the 100 messages remains even with batch send.
Does anyone found a solution?Fox Txn sends, 100 messages max limit is service enforced. You cannot workaround that. You need to break your messages into smaller groups if you want to send with transactions.

We have more than 50,000 messages being exchanged daily. Its hard to find the statistics in SXMB_MONI...So looking for a transaction...

Yahoo mail account's "Spam" folder (as viewed through "Yahoo mail" web interface) is displayed in Thunderbird as "Bulk Mail" (IMAP). Looking at the account's foders in Thunderbird I see the number of unread messages in each folder. "Bulk Mail" appears always to be empty. If I click the "Bulk Mail" folder, then magically messages appear in message list, and the number of unread messages is displayed next to folder name, like in all other folders of this account.
Why I need to touch the "Bulk Mail" folder in order to see the number of messages in it?
Yahoo deletes messages from this folder at certain periods. I'm in danger of loosing messages unless I remember to touch all of my Yahoo account's Bulk Mail folders in Thunderbird.
How I can get "Bulk Mail" folder to show the number of unread messages like all other folders of the same account do?

pekkaI don't use IMAP in Thunderbird, so I can't provide step-by-step instructions, however, other e-mail programs have settings for whether or not to synchronize each individual folder on a schedule or using push IMAP (vs when clicked). If Thunderbird has those settings, I would expect them to appear in the folder properties or account settings. Perhaps this will be helpful, but I don't know if you've already done some digging like this or not.

Perhaps that would be a good place to start since it does mention IMAP folder connections, but folder properties still might be an easier place to peek first, just in case. For that, the site lists this:

However, I think you could right-click on the "Bulk Mail" folder and hit properties in the pop-up menu. -
