double click on ur set pf status 'xxx'.
this will give u a user interface screen.
open the function keys button.
u '' find standard tool bar ,,
Recommended function key settings
freely assigned function keys.
in recommended function key settings just type this for f2
Recommended function key settings
F2              PICK         Choose
see that u have the values like this for F2.
save , activate ,
do this ..

Line-in not working with microphone.
I have Mac Mini Intel 1.83 GHz with 10.4.8
I have tried plugging 3 microphones into the line-input on the back, also on my wife's Mac Mini (same model, os), but I cannot get to record into the Mac.
I've been into System Prefs and set input to Line In and slid the Input Volume to high, but nothing.
I know the Microphones work because if I plug them into a Griffin USB/mini jack adaptor and do it that way by selecting iMic USB audio system from the Input in System Prefs all works fine.
But I need to use the mic with the Line-In.
Any ideas why this is not working?

The line input on the mini requires a 'line-level' signal, so the only microphones that work are ones that have an amplified output. Standard mics don't generate enough voltage to drive the mini's amplifiers.
That's the reason the mics work with the Griffin device (it has an amplifier) but not the mini directly.

Photoshop CC. Colour selection not working when using alt and brush.

Hi, Photoshop CC. Windows 8.1 64 bit. Colour selection not working when using alt and brush. I have tried rebooting and other things like closing swatch panel etc.
The alt key is otherwise OK. It's not the recent upgrade from Win 8 to 8.1 (5 days ago) because the colour selection facility was working yesterday. Any ideas.

I'd say things sound desperate enough to try resetting Preferences
Reset Preferences
Windows — Hold down Shift Ctrl Alt immediately after starting Photoshop
Mac — Hold down Shift Cmd Opt immediately after starting Photoshop
If that fails, we need to know your operating system?
Do you have a full CC subscription, or by apps do you mean Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom?
Another other information that might pertain ?

Urgent:output for line item not working

hi
we are trying to get the output at item level in the sales order.we click on the line item and give a print out..but it is showing details of other line items as well. is there a ways we can get a printout for only the selected line items.
what we did.
1. maintained a output type for item category
2. assigned the output type tot he item category.
but still this is not working the way we want. do we need to use a different print program for the item level printing...

I think this is not possible through standard, but I can suggest if you can seek help from your technical guys asking if it is possible through output routines what we maintain in the output determination procedure....
Give him the requirement and ask him if he can create a custom routine for this.....

Windows 7 Defrag from command line does not work

We are running Windows 7 in a virtualized environment. When running windows defrag using schedule or from command line, it does not work. The command that I am executing as administrator is
C:\Windows\system32>defrag /c

It displays the above message and exits back to the command prompt. However if I run the command defrag C: it does work. Defragmenting from the GUI works as well as long as both the disks (C: and System Reserved) are selected and when I click on
Defragment disks, works fine.
I am concerned about defrag running from the task scheduler with the command "defrag /c" (auto scheduled using Configure Schedule... from Disk Defragmenter) does not work and the system never gets defragmented automatically.
This happens only with some of the windows 7 VM's that we have.
There are no entries in Event Log that point to the defrag (using task scheduler). Any ideas what may be going on?

Could you defrag as below method:
1. Open Disk Defragmenter by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type
Disk Defragmenter, and then, in the list of results, click
Disk Defragmenter.
2.Under Current status, select the disk you want to defragment.
3.To determine if the disk needs to be defragmented or not, click Analyze disk. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Once Windows is finished analyzing the disk, you can check the percentage of fragmentation on the disk in the
Last Run column. If the number is above 10%, you should defragment the disk.
4.Click Defragment disk. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Auto Select not working in Photoshop CS6--Why?

I'm experiencing the auto-select in Photoshop CS6 not working when it is checked and I click on different layers. It worked fine in 5.5, but I am now using PS CS6 cloud and it works only sporadically. Any reason why?

Smartform : line type not working fine when used on Next page

Hi ,
Please help on below :
I have a smartform and have line type which is used in printing the items.
When I use this line type on very first page , it works fine.
But for the next page which is the exact copy of first page ,
the line type does not work fine with printing first line item on next page,
it refreshed the work area which i am printing. so on the next page very first element gets all the values 000
But on the next iteration it works fine and does not refresh work area.
Please see why is such abnormal behavior happening.

there might be syntax error. Try to get what exaclty is an error using following code.
CALL FUNCTION <smartform>
    EXCEPTIONS
    IF SY-SUBRC 0.
       CALL FUNCTION 'SSF_READ_ERRORS'
            IMPORTING
                 ERRORTAB = IT_ERRORLIST.
     ENDIF.
In IT_ERRORLIST you will get error message.

Sound input (line-in) not working after upgrade to Leopard

I have upgraded my iMac Intel Core 2 Duo (white plastic frame version) to Leopard on Friday when it released. The upgrade process went very well with one MAJOR exception: Audio input through "Line-in" connection does not work anymore. I have tried everything that comes to mind so far from rebooting, to unplugging and replugging, to checking back all system settings, etc. Nothing works. At this point, I can't use my headset anymore for making calls with Skype or using voice chat in games. I would seriously need some help as I refuse to have paid $129 only to have Apple themselves break something in their products.
For this reason, I have to currently consider Leopard a failure. Reason being, in MS Windows or Linux, there always is a way around to make things work... I can't find anything at all with this release of the OS.

The OP reported their line-in input "broke" after upgrading to Leopard, however my MBP stopped recognising input from the mic on my headset a few weeks ago when I was still running Tiger. This might possibly indicate that the change in OS X's handling of the line-in input was present in a Tiger update, but I can't remember the exact correlation between the dates of my last update and this problem. All the same, I'm pretty annoyed that a headset that worked perfectly for several months is now suddenly unusable without a USB adapter.
Prior to stumbling across this thread, I visited two Apple stores, who both tested with an output from an iPod and told me that the input was working fine, leading me to buy a brand-new headset (even though I'd tested other working headsets without success) which, naturally, produced the same results.
Seems to me that the hardware is fully capable of processing a mic input through the line-in port, as it's never had any problems with any unpowered source until recently, so Apple must surely be able to undo the change they made?

Restriction in Rows Selection not working

I have a requrement where i need to restrict the material based on the date

Material > 90 days is material exist 90 days from current system date Ex. for Feb 7,2012 ./ the range is may 7 ,2012

I created a new selection in Rows for material and restricted based on 0DAT variable with offset.
its not working.

Can you please explain what happened more clearly?
Have you tried executing your QueryByElements with projectID in PDI?

Option-drag selection not working in CS6 layer panel

Thought I'd force myself to use CS6 on a new project. I want to select multiple objects using "Option-drag", in the Layer Panel, but it doesn't work as it does in CS5.
Is there a different shortcut for selecting multiple contiguous objects using the Layer Panel, in CS6? Of course, I mean "Select" not "highlight".

Ok so it has been omitted in CS 6 and I think the reason is is because of the change to the Layers panel function.
That is because you can now rename and object directky with the Layers Panel rather than use the Layer Options.
Whether this wa intentional or by accident I do not know but that is why I think it has been changed.
I would make a feature request to either return it to Option Drag or Or Option Click to select a contigous selection of objects.
I notice that many people use names for their paths on even modest ai files so I would think being able to name the objects and layers are a really important feature but so is the feature you referring to though I think Click-Option Click would be even better on rellly large complex Illustrations.

FormatTrigger on line is not working in Oracle Reports

I have three sections of data say a,b,c.
1) If there is no data returned in Section b and c, then I need to print a line just after section a ends.
2) If there is no data in section c but section a and b have data, then line should not appear after section a, but after section b
3) If all sections are having data , then line should appear after section c.

IPod nano - mini jack Line out not working anymore

i have a 5th generation nano. its been working fine exept that now the music does not come out of my ipod
when i use the mini jack line out. i've tried different cables but in vain. the music is still coming out of it
when i play it throught the internal speakers.

If resetting it does not work, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

Field selection not working in Calculate tab

Hi, I'm trying to use a simple "Sum" calculation and it is suddenly not working. I can't select individual fields. "Select All" will put a check mark in every field. Trying to pick the four fields I need does not. I used this feature successfully in the past but cannot understand why it won't work now. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Use the space-bar or click a bit off to the center of the check-box to toggle it. It's a known bug of Acrobat (I answered this same question like 3 times in the last two days alone...).

Line-in not working with Xfi extreme audio pci-e

im trying to play my xbox360 on my computer, the video with my winfast dtv000T is ok, but whenI try to get the sound by connecting the xbox360 sound in one of the two mic/line-in I get nothing (tried in K!TV, Winfast PVR, DScaler). Im running XP SP3. I can use teamspeak with the mic but I dont know why when I try to use the line in for sound capture its not working at all (its working with my onboard soundcard, but I prefer my xfi). I connect my xbox to the blue female jack 3.5.

My line-in worked as this is the entertainment mode that?you can turn on your Line-in under the mixer tab. Problem is, when I play my guitar there is quite a latency that is unbearable (.05) for a guitarist. I don't know if this should bother your application for it.

Line-In not working anymore

I upgraded to Leopard tonight and surprise, my Line-In is not working anymore. I can't use my headphone's microphone. This is something very weird happening. Anyone has any idea what can be causing this?

By downloading a newer version of Audio Recorder, I've been able to use the built in microphone to record. I haven't tried it with other applications, although it was working with Photobooth.
