I talked with the AT&T representative. AT&T doesn't support thirdparty STG#, eventhough it is a local phone#. They still charge the phone call as international phone call.
That is very strange! Please file with our Customer Service. I would be grateful if you would let me know what transpires. Thank you.

  • Checking recipient is not charged for my call

     Hello, I'm in Australia and I'm using my prepaid Skype credit to call someone on a landline in France.  When she answers the phone it asks, "Would you like to accept a call from this person?" My balance goes down at  reasonable rate so I know I'm being charged for the call, but I just want to check she is not being charged at a high rate for receiving the call.  Could you please advise?  Thanks!

    Hello
    It's unlikely that the recipient world be charged for receiving a landline call but they should check with their carrier to make certain.

  • How can i make a free facetime video call? There's always appearing that my provider might charge for the call?

    How can i make a free facetime video call? There's always appearing that my provider might charge for the call?

    If you make a call then tap the Facetime button to connect Facetime, the duration of call up to Facetime connection will be charged under your regular airtime.  However, duration during facetime conversation will not consume airtime.
    But if you tap the Facetime button on the Contact Page, then the whole duration will not consume airtime.
    For Facetime to work, both parties must be connected to wifi.

    I pay a monthly subscription to Australia, yet I just made a call to a landline in Australia and it drained my Euro balance I keep for calls to other destinations.  Why and what can be done about it?  I can't make any calls now until this problem is rectified.  My last subscription was paid 02 October.  Thanks

  • Call gate for systems call

    Hi all,
    On solaris-x86 The /usr/include/sys/segment.h file has the following user selectors
    /* user selectors */
    #define USER_CS 0x17 /* user's code segment */
    #define USER_DS 0x1F /* user's data segment */
    #define USER_SCALL 0x07 /* call gate for system calls */
    #define USER_SIGCALL 0x0F /* call gate for sigreturn */
    #define USER_ALTSCALL 0x27 /* alternate call gate for system calls */
    #define USER_ALTSIGCLEAN 0x2F /* alternate call gate for sigreturn */
    USER_SCALL(0x07) and USER_ALTSCALL(0x27) are both used as call gates for system calls in ld.so and libc.so(primarily 0x27 but 0x07 is used once). A static executable seems to use 0x07 exclusively. My question is whether there is any difference between the 2 call gates ? The system call semantics seem to be the same for both(syscall no goes in %eax and followed by lcall <call-gate>, 0x00). Can I substitute one for the other and will the executable still run ok ?
    Thanks
    Naveen

    Hi Michael,
    first of all the connection to an ABAP system via portal system object as you have used it in VC7.0 should also work in VC7.1. Maybe there is an issue with your configuration. There is also another option to setup the connection via RFC connection in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator. Anyway I suggest that you try to establish a connection via RFC, which is described in the [Wiki|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/vc71/rfc+destination]. If this connection will work then you should investigate why the connection via system portal system object is not working.
    Please let me know if you have success with the RFC connection.
    Best Regards,
    Marcel

  • Phone call charge for just ringing

    Hi...does Skype charge for phone calls even if the phone was not answered?...i.e. if I call somone to their telephone / mobile from skype...and if they have not answered...and I cut the call before it goes to their voicemail...is there a charge?...please advice...Thanks

    I think users may be indeed charged once the call is "connected", regardless if it was actually answered by the other party or not.

  • EE Home Phone: Access Charge for 084, 087, 09, 118 numbers?

     EE recently announced the Access Charge for calls to 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers from EE, Orange and T-Mobile mobile phones from 1 July 2015 will be 44p per minute. What is the Access Charge for calls to 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers when made from EE Home Phone?

     Finally, the Home Phone price list reveals the Access Charge for calls to 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers is 11p per minute. http://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/price-plans-and-costs/ee-price-plans/home-phone-call-charges   The price list is confusing, especially page 4.  "05 Numbers (not including 0500) - up to 15p/call plus up to 5.5p per min" Why can't you simply say "055 and 056 - up to 15p per call plus up to 5.5p per min" In confusing the reader, you confused yourself because you have omitted to say "0500 - free"   What 08 numbers are you talking about here? "08 Numbers (not including 084 or 087) - up to 15p/call plus up to £1.54/min" It can't be 0800 and 0808 because at the top of the page, you explain that these are free.   The cost of calling 111 and 116 numbers is also missing from page 4.

  • Charged for engaged calls

    Since when have BT charged for calls that weren't connected?
    I have a number on my bill, with durations of up to 6 seconds,  that I know for a fact received the 'sorry the number you called' etc message
    Solved!

    I recently looked at itemised bill for January, and was surprised to see three calls to my Doctors surgery. The calls were 4 seconds , 5 seconds and 4 seconds long, timed at 10.15 am....This number is a prescription order service....You can understand it is a busy line, and it's odds on you don't get through first time, so you have to keep trying.... I did that until I got through and BT charged me  27 pence each time I tried, even though there was no answer phone, I heard nothing but an engaged signal...So I decided to have a word with BT about this...I eventually talked to a guy called Aarron who explained that my calling plan only gives me free calls on evenings and weekends, even though the calls were not answered in any shape or form they will be charged for.I have arranged for a manager to call me about this matter on Monday 2nd March so I will let you know the outcome.

  • Call charges for Broadband Talk

    Hi
    I wonder if anyone can help. I have an unlimited anytime plan with BT and use Broadband Talk. As I understand it, calls from Talk fall under the same tariff as the main phone line, so I am confused as to why I get charged for calls to a local number, eg, a 11 min call to a local UK number at 1pm on a weekday cost me £1.09.
    According the the BT tariff plan (http://www.bt.com/pricing/current/Cust_Opts_Res_boo/2-3230_d0e91.htm) this call should be free.
    I am missing something or am I being charged when I should not be?
    Thanks

    Hi.
    Unfortunately you are missing something I'm afraid. BBTalk is not the same as a normal landline and is treated as a different line - they each have different calling plans too depending on where you call.
    The tariff plan you show
    http://www.bt.com/pricing/current/Cust_Opts_Res_boo/2-3230_d0e91.htm
    does actually show that the call you made will cost 11 x 7.95p plus any connection charge. At the very top if the page it shows that you need to pay the anytime plan cost of £6.20 per month. (My figures include vat)

  • Caller ID for incoming calls NOT displaying name from contacts (only displays phone # on BB Z10)

    on the Z10 Whenever I receive an incoming call, the caller ID only shows the phone #, even when I have that number matched to a contact in the phone, even the call log it show the number and not the name.  How do I get the caller ID to recognize and display the appropriate contact name with the phone fro an incoming call? Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks, Akhanbilal

    Thank you Arsen but, as with everyone else : (1) When you get an in-coming call, it has no call log on the phone app call log that allows you do a thing under the sun except to touch the number of the last call, and when you do, it CALLS THEM BACK. (2) On every other BlackBerry I have owned, about 10 to-date, I simply selected the last in-coming call and had a button at the bottom of the screen to allow me to ADD TO CONTACTS. (3) This does NOT exist on the Z10, and there certainly is no "Click on number, little slider pops on the right, select add to contact."  Instead it dials them.  Frustrating other uses have described Arsen. Further, while on the topic : (4) None of this has anything to do with 10-digit national dialing plan or anything else on swipe finger down from top in Phone App, Arsen. (5) When you swipe Phone App down, you see SETTINGS. Then, there are 13 items.  I have looked at all 13 items and see nothing as you describe to select, nor any instructions on what to set the SMART DIALING to when there are 3 area codes local for my city and country code shows +1. Further, while on topic here : (6) Visual Voice Mail has been turned-on and whatever visual voice mail is, never supported on any previous BlackBerry including my 9780 before this, I have it with T-Mobile and have it turned on on the BlackBerry Z10 and it too does not work.  On the positive side, I do have a work-around for BlackBerry Z10 to 2013 Toyota entune. (7) I first took a vm msg .wav file of just hello (blank will not send) and saved it on BlackBerry Z10.  The Toyota entune is LOOKING for a music and will LOCK-UP if none are found.  By giving it this, it worked on my 2013 Toyota entune for the 1st time ever.  Yeah !  It is a little frustrating every few minutes listening to myself say HELLO.  But, hey no one really notices it with all the other stuff going on NAVIGATION, radio, cell phone calls, and all the computerized alerts on 2013 Toyota even without entune. (8) What I did now was to go into Navigation and remove SYNC with MUSIC.  I accomplished that after pairing to Z10 to 2013 Toyota, by CANCELLING ALL CONNECTIONS leaving only the pairing itself.  Then, you must choose some connections in the pairing section of SET-UP within Navigation itself.  If you cannot even get to that point, try depressing on the Navigation Screen, INTERNET at which point it will allow you access to SET-UP when you see the message NO ENTUNE APP FOUND ON YOUR BlackBerry Z10.  Red-headed step-child is what we all are.  Have to help each other.  Arsen I appeciate you helping all of us.  Seems the list is about 20 who have voiced it here in this one thread.  We voice it for the 200 million BlackBerry users worldwide, all left out in the cold despite a pretty cool Z10 product. Far better than iPhone 5.  I chose phone and internet.  Internet comes back no BLACKBERRY Z10 TOYOTA ENTUNE APP.  But, at least now I don't have to hear the music HELLO and do not also have the BlackBerry Z10 LOCKED-UP with pop up message you have to say OK to 10 million times to clear and never can actually do a thing on the BlackBerry Z10 as  a result.  Cannot add an in-coming call to Contacts Z10. Cannot see name and number calling me, just the bloody number, no clue who is calling ridiculous. Cannot do diddle-e-squat on BlackBerry Z10 on Toyota entune.  No App.  Horrendous. TAGS : Z10 no caller-id name, Z10 no app Toyota 2013 entune, Z10 add call to Contacts

  • BB Os v. 7.1 - Caller ID for incoming calls NOT displaying name from contacts (only displays phone number)

    We realized since bbOS 7.1 update the bb lost the possibility to show the contact from address book associated to the callerID
    ___country code is correctly set
    ___the menu voice
    Options > Security > General Settings.==> Content Protection > Include Address Book = NO
     is not present
    ___the menu voice
    options >> security options >> encryption
     is disabled
    The previous tread was messed up with similar messages related to devices with the new BB Os v10.
    But as far as this seeems to be a Os related issue, there is no sense in mixing

    Not sure how the area code rules apply in your area. When you call from your cell to a contact that has their name, does it show you their name when calling out and the call log also has their name. Go into the phone application, swipe down from the top and cehck your smart dialing features for country code, area code and National number length.

  • Charged for landline call

    I think I've been charged for a landline call after starting my subscription.  Can someone please help me?  I can't get chat to work.  Being that this is a paid service (skype), you should have available customer service.

    Check you usage history to make sure that the number you are being billed for is a US number.  Be aware that SMS, Shared-cost, Premium and non-regional numbers, are not covered by any subscription and will require credit.  I personally have never dialed a US number not supported by my subscription.  Make sure your subscription appears active in your account as well.  Your Skype number will be found in the Skype number section of the account.  The call subscription should be found on the right side of your main account page if active.

  • Charged for included calls

    Recently joined BT for Broadband which has promted me to look at my bills. Previous to today I have had free evening and weekend calls.
    Some of the calls to landlines have been charged. I have checked the times to makes sure they are within the times allowed.
    I've only gone back a month (while at work) and already found around £10 worth of calls that I should not have been charged for.
    What is the best way to get a refund on these calls and also how far back can I claim?
    Thanks

    Hi dangerman
    It's worth noting the following (if you didn' already know)
    BT did change the time when the evening calls became free some time ago. It used to be 6pm - 6am. It's now 7pm - 7am.
    There is a limit on each call lasting 60mins, after 60mins they become chargable. It's a good idea to end the call after 59mins and simply redial.
    There is a fup, which IIRC is 10,000mins per month.
    I'd use the Billing Live Chat facility -http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact/c/2902/?s_intcid=con_intban_sanda_contact_us_chat_from_forums
    They're are open M-F 9-6.

  • How to disable "slide to call" feature for missed calls from lock screen on ios7

    I realized that when the iphone (running iOS7) is locked, the“Slide to Call” allows anyone to make an outgoing call to the missed calls from a locked phone (with passcode).
    it is nice feature for people who don't care about locking their phone.but I believe there should be an option to disable the “slide to call” or at least require password before allowing the outgoing call to go through.
    This is a serious security issue.it should be user configurable.
    Hope Apple will take it seriously and release a update for the same.

    You can provide feedback to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
