AT&T trying to cross-sell other makers to iPhone users

I purchased my iPhone from an Apple Retail Store and set up my AT&T account at the store. Now I get a "special customer offer" from AT&T trying to sell me LG and Nokia and HTC and Samsung. AT&T wouldn't know I exist (okay, that's naive, but you get what I mean) if I hadn't bought exactly what I want—an iPhone.
Am I the only one who finds this slimy?

The question is, Do they have the emai address that you are using configured as a, "You can be reached by Facetime at:" in Settings > Facetime?
Of course they may be just choosing not to accept your call.

ibooks (and other content from iTunes) are tied to your account, and there is not currently a way to lend or transfer content to another account - so unless they have access to your account then no, you can't share.

IPhone 5 - can't text to other Verizon (non-iPhone) users

Welcome to our family dm123. As a new customer I know there is no fun in having text issues. Ann154 is correct, the porting process may be taking a while to complete. I would also remove all third party messaging applications from your phone, then test out your messaging. Are the problems with specific contacts? Try restoring your phone with iTunes. Keep us posted on your issue.

How to proper settings of distcc when trying to cross build packages?

I'm trying to cross compile embedded system (CPU is sh4).
I've a PC, BOX1, BOX2 (slow cpu about 600Mhz).
I put makepkg on BOX1.
Guess proper settings are like:

Trying to cross compile for ARM phone (android galaxy S4)

i am trying to cross compile for my galaxy S4 on my 64 bit arch install, and ran into a host of issues. Currently at a specific error message in the code box below, after downloading the android NDK at https://developer.android.com/tools/sdk/ndk/index.html and running:
android-ndk-r9d/build/tools/make-standalone-toolchain.sh
this gave me android-ndk-gcc (directory)
so i read up some basics on how to set the compiler via:
'export CC=/home/earth/android-ndk-gcc/bin/arm-linux-androideabi-gcc'
then i downloaded Bash's source code and tried to run variations of ./configure with no success until i tried:
'./configure --host=arm-linux --enable-static-link --without-bash-malloc'
which resulted in successful whatever configure does (sets up make file stuff?)
the result of 'make' was (only posting the one compile iteration that resulted in an error):

I am in no way experienced with compiling things, but i did manage to compile a simple helloworld.c program for my phone and run it successfully on the phone, which tells me the compiler works okay.
Can anyone give me more information on what's happening? Google returns almost nothing on any of these errors, especially the oslib.c errors.

You should check out the Android NDK documentation. The NDK comes with a cross compiler specifically for android, with the correct versions of libraries, etc. It comes with some examples showing how to build stuff for it.
EDIT: There is also an AUR package for it.

(Clearly i'm not alone in this problem, although i think i figured out what's going wrong a little more than he did...read on!)
his solution, to put mainstage in jump mode, is very unsatisfactory to me, as it bounces all of a sudden to drastically different settings.
basically, my analysis is that my controller is NOT receiving MIDI date from mainstage. in other words, mainstage knows what my controller is doing, but my controller doens't know what mainstage is doing.
let's say i turn the knob all the way to the right ... 127...and the virtual fader goes to the right like it's supposed to.
now...next...let's say i change to a different patch, where that same VIRTUAL fader is not at the max clockwise position..maybe it's only at 1pm. now when i turn the physical knob to the RIGHT, the midi data is still at 127 on the controller! it didn't "reset" to sync up with the new level (say 80 or so) setting on the new patch. so i can't increase that new setting of 80 by continuing to turn the knob to the right. i have to turn it all the way to zero,...and then continue PAST zero until the controller thinks that IT is at 0...at that point the controller and mainstage are in agreement, and things work fine....so bascially, the keyboard thinks the level is at max...but mainstage thinks the level is at 1pm.
i am using Logic 9, and i have a macbook pro 2.9 Ghz I7 with 8 gigs of memory and OS X 10.8.4

If you see Devices in the big list on the left-hand side of iTunes, it should show the name of your iPhone right below it. You can right-click (or hold ctrl and left click) on the name of the iPhone there, and choose "transfer purchases from iPhone".
If you're on iTunes 11, you won't see the big list of the left until you go to the View menu at the very top (where you see iTunes/File/Edit/View/etc) and choose Show Sidebar. Then do the same thing: right-click or ctrl and left-click on the iPhone's name below Devices and "transfer purchases from iPhone".
It'll ask you to authorize the computer for your Apple ID if you haven't yet; to do that, you just type your Apple ID and password in when it asks. If it says you are not authorized but doesn't automatically give you an option to do so, then you can go to the Store menu at the very top and choose "authorize this computer".

Yeah, I literally have tried everything except deleting my iCloud account (I'm close, but that would require so many changes that it is way too painful to consider at this point).
I am still waiting to hear back from Apple Support. Hopefully something can be done, or they can do a reset on their end.

You don't need to delete anything from your phone or you old computer.
Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from old computer or backup to /Music/ on new computer.
If you cannot use the old computer or don't have a backup...
-> Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
Then immediately make a backup of your new computer.
Get an external drive and plug it in and use -> Time Machine

Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions.
