At UNIX, where to find out when the Java stack was re-started?

On the NT platform, we can check Java stack's restart time from SAPMMC.
Could anybody tell on UNIX, where to check this?
I looked into SMICM but no findings.

You can restart Java Stack from SMICM transaction. i.e SMICM-->Administration and you get many options
and in the ICM trace file you get these options , I think.. For this SMICM and DisplaY all ...

Another way would be using transaction STAT,enter the t-code you like to monitor.This will provide all details,like user, time etc...

How to find out when last rman backup was made in 9i

i have an oracle 9i database running on windows here. Is there a way to find out when the last rman backup was done with a sql query?
I would like to create a job inside the database that regulary checks if a rman backup ran sucessfully instead of using scripts in the operating system.
But i only know about commands in the rman utility (that i can not execute as a job, right?) - is something similar possible with for example sqlplus?

Btw. The original purchase information on your app is available in your computer, in your iTunes account.
Click apps and find the app you are looking for.
Right click on the app and "get info"
This will show when it was purchased and under what Apple ID.

Finding out when a new HHD was installed...

Hey i want to find out when the exact date i installed my HHD into my macbook pro....
I origionally had a Macbook Pro, then at a later date I replaced that internal drive with a new one, I want to know what date i replaced it....
Is there any system logs, hardware logs or preferences that contain this infomation?
I dont have the reciept for the drive obviously.

I doubt it - physically installing a hard drive is not something that the software is aware of.
If you did a clean install on the same day there might be some file that was created on that day and maybe not modified since that would have a date associated with the file - but there may be files - especially if you restored data from a backup - that will have date stamps prior to the install of the hard drive.
I put a new hard drive in my MacBook Pro that I ordered on 30 Dec 2008 - and when I do a Finder search on "log" or "install" I do get a lot of hits for 9 Jan 09 - which is likely the day I put the new drive in.

Why has the Reload button shrunk and shot to the end of the URL window? How will I find out when the Favloc plugin works in V4?

I had installed Firefox 4, but rapidly had to backtrack to 3.6, then again to 3.5. Two reasons: 1. The three toolbar buttons I use most are Back, Forward and Reload. In 3.5 I can group these nicely at the left hand end; in 4 the Reload button has shrunk and shot across to the end of the URL bar. Why?
2. Versions 3.6 and 4 are incompatible with the Favloc plugin. This is such a brilliant plugin you ought to buy the code and build it in. I am marooned in 3.5 until this plugin works in V4 - running 3.5, how will I find out when it does?

How do I query to find out if the MONITORING clause was enabled on a table?

Our customers are currently running Oracle 8.1.7 in the field. I am writing a database schema updater tool that is supposed to examine the schemas and make necessary changes to them.
Recently, the MONITORING clause was added to many of the tables in our schemas. I need to find out if the tables currently have MONITORING enabled.
But, even though the Oracle documentation is very large, again, I cannot find any information about how to determine if MONITORING on a table is on or off.
Any ideas? An SQL query? JDBC metadata?

How can I find out WHEN a specific iPhone was reported stolen?

I bought a storage unit at auction. There was a brand new iphone 4S, among other items, in the locker. Many had receipts with the owner's name so I know it wasn't a storage unit full of stolen merchandise. I ran a check of the iphone through a website, imei.info, and it seemed to come up clean (Verizon locked). The Ebay buyer backed out of the auction and now, days later, is claiming the phone is stolen. I'm thinking the buyer for some unknown reason, is the one who reported it stolen, just recently, and is trying to scam me. When I called Verizon, they confirmed that this phone was either lost or stolen but could not tell me when it was reported.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN FIND OUT THE DATE THE PHONE WAS REPORTED STOLEN, AND POSSIBLY WHO REPORTED IT STOLEN?

Buyer fraud has become a problem on eBay.
I ran a check of the iphone through a website, imei.info, and it seemed to come up clean (Verizon locked).
It probably would have been better to contact Verizon directly, but if you kept records of that research, use it to dispute the buyer's subsequent claim. Unfortunately, eBay buyers hold all the cards these days, and eBay's robots will simply order you to accept a return or face suspension of your account and seizure of your PayPal assets.
To dispute a SNAD may require that you obtain a court order to subpoena Verizon's record of the theft, which will entail an expense that will almost certainly exceed absorbing the loss.
Ebay is a buyer's paradise. For sellers, not so much.

How do i find out when my old desktop was purchased or built?

We have a HP desktop model a1512x and would like to find out approx when it was sold or built. S/N is [edited] but when I key that in on HP's site it doesn't come back with anything. Just wondered if there is someplace else to look.

How do I find out what the internal error was?

I got a fatal internal error when I pressed the "Show Errors" button under Windows->Show Errors menu option.
Silly me, I didn't write it down. When I relaunched LabView, it offered to go and try to diagnose the error,
but not I can't find any trace of what the error actually was! Obviously, I should have written it down,
but why didn't Labview also record the error?

When you say: "When I relaunched LabView, it offered to go and try to diagnose the error", do you mean that LabVIEW gave you the option of Investigate Now, Investigate Later, & Do Not Investigate? Assuming this is what you are referring to, by choosing either Investigate Now or Investigate Later, LabVIEW will generate an error log .txt file. This file is automatically placed in your My Documents\LabVIEW Data\lvfailurelog folder.

Well, if you don't have a copy of your purchase receipt, then you can find the serial number in your support profile if you registered the machine. As for a copy of your invoice, call the Apple store and ask for a copy.
