At what point would the CS6 suite no longer be (seamlessly) compatible with CC suite/applications?
I have the CS6 on my office computer and CC installed at home. I want to remove a few CC applications I inadvertently installed on office computer to free-up space. I am; however, concerned that as CC updates on my home computer, I'll be forced to save to compatible file types, e.g. IDML for InDesign. Moreover, I've been using the CC software (e.g. Adobe InDesign CC vs. Adobe InDesign CS6) at the office and wonder if there will be compatibility issues once CC is gone and I return to using CS6. While I could remove the entire CS6 suite and just use CC on office computer, I would rather have the additional CC install for a personal computer since I'm paying for the subscription and my company paid for CS6. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
There is no single answer... any answer is specific to the individual program
For instance... a Premiere Pro CC project file is not backwards compatible with Premiere Pro CS6
You will need to ask in the individual forums

You will be able to select a forum for the specific Adobe product(s) you use
Click the "down arrow" symbol on the right (where it says All communities) to open the drop down list and scroll

I have Adobe Acrobat installed as part of the CS6 suite.
It has stopped working (yet again -- it has done that three of four times over the last year).
I have spent days trying to repair it; etc. without any success.
The last time this happened, it was necessary for someone from Adobe to reinstall it entirely, if I remember correctly.
I give up. Can anyone tell me what I must do get the program to actually work?
I spend more time trying to get Adobe Acrobat to work, than I do actually doing my work.
My OS is Windows 8.1. My system has 16 MB of RAM, and hard disks are not overfilled.
I run update virus checker (Kaspersky) daily.

Could you please tell what are the challenges you are facing while trying to access Acrobat ?
Do you get any error message ?If yes ,please share the screen shot of the same.

Try repairing it from Control panel, or try launching it with a different user account and check if it works or not.
Install the latest updates for Acrobat X from the link : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows
and check.

What program do you run?
Please contact the software provider to confirm if this 32-bit program can run in 64-bit Windows.
As some programs can only run in specific version of Windows, please download the right version of software.
Most programs designed for the 32-bit version of Windows will work on the 64-bit version of Windows. Notable exceptions are many antivirus programs.
Device drivers designed for the 32-bit version of Windows don't work on computers running a 64-bit version of Windows too.

I really don't want to switch to Google chrome or any other browser because of Kaspersky.I have 14 days to return it. please advise me that what is the best antivirus that is full compatible with Firefox.Your Kaspersky software is protecting your system, and as long as real-time protection is enabled, it's checking your downloads. What aren't working are their browser add-ons.
Some of the vendors are quicker at providing updates for new versions of Firefox than others. For example, Kaspersky typically take several weeks, while Norton does it almost immediately. I think it's just their different philosophies about how to allocate their resources.
While the browser add-ons can be handy, I'm not sure whether they should be considered critical in your decision on which security software offers the best overall protection. Keeping your browsers and plug-ins up-to-date, avoiding suspicious email attachments and links, and not visiting sketchy websites are the top safety items in my opinion. Also, I run the NoScript extension. -

I am using LabVIEW 8.0 and I am attempting to create a sub-panel that displays the front panel of a sub-vi depending on the selection made by the user via the Enum dropdown menu. I have wired the Enum to a case structure and applied identical coding to each individual case structure except for obviously changing the sub-vi source. However, I receive an error "The VI is not in a state compatible with this operation." I was able to successfully make a single sub-vi work within a sub-panel using a true/false case structure and the exact same coding. However, now that I am using an Enum box wired to a case structure, I receive this error. I have attached my block diagram as well. Could anyone assist me as to where it is that I am going wrong?

Well, if the code is identical except for the source, only the source should be inside the case, right? Why duplicate code?

Is the Hiper Type- R 580 modular PSU compatible with MSI K8N SLI Platinum?
Hey guys, i just recently bought a Hiper Type R 580w PSU after my old PSU went bad.
I installed the new PSU a few hours ago and came across a problem, nothing shows up on screen.
When i turn on the computer, the green light is constantly on including my dvd/rw light.
I double checked everything were connected properly and everything seemed to be connected properly.
The cpu's fan are running properly including the graphics cards and the case's fan but i can't pinpoint whats causing the the green activity light to light constantly including the dvd/rw.
I also tried resetting CMOS but it didn't fix the problem.
So now i'm starting to wonder if it's to do with compatibility issues between the Hiper Type R PSU and my K8N SLI Platinum motherboard.
So i just wanted to know if the Hiper Type R 580 PSU is compatible with the K8N SLI platinum?
I would grately appreciate any assistance.In short no.
The Hiper Type- R 580 does NOT have a -5V supply line

2. grabbed the software/driver update from Aug, 2010,
3. installed the Aug, 2010 update, and my problems seem to have been fixed.
This is where I got my 2010 update from (obviously you should get the driver/software applicable to your OS and specific printer):

Hello, I have a HP Officejet J6480 All-in-One printer. When I try to print, I receive this error message:
"Communication Failure: The computer is no longer able to communicate with your printer. Turn the printer off, check your printer connections and check for printer errors, and turn the printer back on."
I am using a Mac PowerBook G4, OS v10.5.7. I have tried the following:
-- rebooted my Mac
-- turned printer off/on
-- rebooted wireless router
-- tried to print using USB cable.
I continue to receive the same error message. Helllllllllllllllp!!!!
A couple of other things I need to mention: I bought this printer in June and have been able to print just fine since purchasing
this printer. As recently as Friday, July 3, I was able to print and printed 6 or 7 pages then. This is CRAZY!!!!

The information of my phpinfo() is php version 5.2.6 and oci8 version 1.2.5
The tests that I have done until now, with these versions look ok, but I have a doubt, because the version of OCI 1.2.5 need the version of PHP 5.2.7, and I have the version of PHP 5.2.6
Although You enable the extension oci8 since PHP (php.ini), really it is generated when you install the Oracle Client 10g (in my environment)
If I would have some problems, would I have to download the version PHP 5.2.7? do you think? do you think that everything OK with versión PHP 5.2.6 and versión OCI8 1.2.5? are there some people that they are working with versión PHP 5.2.6 and versión OCI8 1.2.5 and without any problem?
