AT300-100 - Connection problems with bluetooth mouse

I am having problems connecting a bluetooth mouse to my toshiba AT300-100 tablet.
The tablet and the mouse are able to successfully pair with each other. The tablet asks for the password, I enter 0000 and the two devices successfully pair up with each other.
I then ensure that the mouse is selected as an input device (click on the mouse settings icon in the Bluetooth screen). I receive no errors at any point. However, there is no mouse pointer on the screen, the mouse buttons have no effect, and the scroll wheel has no effect.
I have Googled and searched this forum, I can not find a reference to this problem elsewhere. Please advise. It appears to be an O/S bug as far as I can tell.
Looking on youtube I see the Asus tablet works fine with a mouse and I am following the exact same procedure. I have used the mouse on my Toshiba tecra with no problems at all, so I know the mouse is working just fine.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution?
Thank you.
Mark

Hi
Did you solve this issue?
Are you abele to use the BT mouse connected to AT300?
In the description of AT300 its mentioned that you can use Virtual Mouse connected via BlueTooth or USB port.
Check the settings in Language & Input Android area.
There should be a point called Keyboard & Input Mouse
If you have more than one installed input device, tap Configure input methods to open the screen where you can configure each input method.

  • Problems with Bluetooth mouse following Lion upgrade

I upgraded my MacBook Pro from Snow Leopard to Lion, this morning, and now my Kensington Bluetooth mouse, which I have been using for nearly 2 years, has stopped working. The upgraded MacBook now only registers a connection with the mouse if it is held within about 10cm of the system, but even then it doesn't respond to any movements of the mouse. I have previously been using the mouse quite happily from a distance of about 50cm.
Is this a known problem associated with Lion?

Well, after 2 days of completely refusing to work, the mouse suddenly requested Bluetooth pairing, and has worked ever since. I don't know why it took 2 days, though.

  • Connections problems with magic mouse

I keep losing the bluetooth connection with my Magic Mouse, magic track pad and apple bluetooth keyboard.
Magic Mouse problems are daily.  Sometimes it works intermittently.  Track pad problems are less frequent.
The keyboard gives me problems with the shift key.  When I hit the shift key sometimes it causes texts to be highlighted on screen. When texts are highlighted on screen, they are erased once I hit a new key.  This is extremely frustration.  Any solutions?

Usual first attempt for a remedy for these BT problems is to try smc and pram reset.

  • Tracking problem with Bluetooth mouse..

I recently changed batteries in my Bluetooth wireless mouse... I've done that many times in the past without incident... But this time something strange happened... I used to run the tracking speed setting at the second notch up from slow but now that is lightning fast. Even the next setting down, the first notch up from slow, is too fast... And the slowest setting is ironically too slow which means if I try to move the mouse across the screen at what I would consider a normal speed, the mouse jumps back left as I move right, meaning I am overwhelming the control system... The point is something changed and I can't imagine what... These new batteries are now down a notch from top power meaning they are not new anymore but still the lowest notch is too slow and the next one up is too fast... My real question is what could have changed?? I am running 10.4.6 and I don't believe I had changed anything other than the batteries from before to after the problem started... Any thoughts???? thanks... bob..

Today I received a letter from Apple, a very strange letter that had no heading or address and didn't say "Apple", all it had was the Apple logo. But from the postmark on the envelope I could see it was posted in Cork, Ireland.
The letter confirmed that they had received my proof of purchase and that they would arrange for me to be send a replacement.
The letter said they had tried to call me but could not get through. This is FALSE. Anyone who ever calls me can always get through (although at times, they may get my voicemail). Nobody from Apple left any messages on my voicemail.
The letter gave me a Case Number and said to call their "Technical Support Team".
When I called the number they gave 0870 8760753 I was offered a number of options, NONE OF WHICH covered my reason for calling, so I chose the seemingly nearest option to it.
I found myself talking to something with an Indian accent so thick and heavy that I could barely understand him, and I am used to Indian accents.
He seemed very tired or sleepy; certainly on taking my call he seemed to be settling himself in for some kind of long haul.
Very slowly and hesitantly he started asking me for all kinds of details about me. As I gave him each piece of information he asked me for, he kept interrupting during the process that that I had to repeat myself several times. I had to interrupt him to tell him I had a Case Number (he had not asked me for one).
He took my Case Number , and paused for a long time, then said "well....Mr. -, this is about a Bluetooth Mouse, yes?"
    Brilliant.
He seemed to think the pair of us were going to spend a long time negotiating about something.
He said he would need to go and speak to his supervisor. I waited on the line for 10 (repeat TEN) minutes.
He came back "Well, Mr. -....I need to check all your details".. including all my credit card details....very slowly and repeating everything twice.
Several exasperating minutes later I THINK I had convinced him that he had all my details and that he needed to have a new mouse sent to me.
He said that when the new mouse comes (THINKS...if it comes) via UPS, I must send the dead one back to them within 10 days or they will charge me for the new one. I said what happens if I don't (because this is the summer and I might be out of the country on holiday).
    "That is the procedure".
I replied "so you have all the information you need now and you are going to send me the mouse, yes?"
    "yes".
    ---long silence---
I said "IS that the end of the telephone conversation?"
    "yes."
    "OK thanks, goodbye"-

  • Problem with bluetooth mouse setup at startup and no usb mouse functions

Today for the first time ever I got this screen for bluetooth mouse setup at startup. I've never seen this before and have no bluetooth devices. Very weird! It continues to search for a blue tooth mouse and won't let me do anything. The window says "Pairing with your bluetooth mouse. If the mouse is not found, make sure it is discoverable" My generic usb scroll mouse will not function and has always worked fine in the past. I tried plugging in the stock apple usb mouse also and this doesn't function either so there is no way to cancell this out. I've restarted several times and no luck ,can't login and no mouse functions. Just continues to search for a bluetooth mouse . This has me worried as this is recording studio computer and I have a session tomorrow . Any ideas how to get this to bypass this bluetooth window so I can startup and login and get my mouse functions back.
    thanks,Craig

Solved it on my end... Hope you're not afraid of using some Unix programming...
I went into Unix mode (start up holding command key and s-key down). black screen with lines of white type pop up. (Means you are now in Unix mode). Give it a few minutes to check all the computer and when it no longer keeps adding any further info on screen type "fsck -fy", that is fsck space minus sign fy and without the quotation marks - exactly as shown inside quotation marks, and hit enter. It will run for several minutes detecting all that makes your computer work... I had in the final lines a message that read "file system modified". If this is the case than re-enter the fsck -fy command. Repeat this until one of the final lines will read "the volume appears to be OK". (I only had to do it twice to get to it). At this stage type "reboot". My mac restarted and I could log in without any sign of the annoying bleutooth mouse message. Hope it will work for you too!

  • When will Apple fix the Yosemite connection problems with Bluetooth and USB?

Since my Yosemite upgrade, my Apple mouse disconnects randomly - with increasing frequency, and my USB port does not connect properly with devices that used to work just fine.  Is there a way to reverse Yosemite?

  • Connection problems with Magic Mouse and handoff

I did a clean install of 10.10.3 and since then the Magic Mouse has had problems connecting. First it wouldn't pair. After a few reboots and repeated attempts I was able to pair the mouse with the rMBP. After waking from sleep it now no longer connects. I select the mouse in the Bluetooth menu and connect. Connection appears on the screen, but the mouse doesn't respond. After a few moments I get Connection Lost on the screen.
In addition to the mouse problems I have completely lost any hand off capability to or from the iPhone to the rMBP or back. It's like the Bluetooth connection between the devices is not working or is too weak to function.
It would be very much appreciated if any one has any suggestions on the cause or to a solution.
    Thanks.

    Hey Tom,
NVRAM and PRAM are, while technically different, effectively the same. Newer systems utilize NVRAM to store the same information that was stored in PRAM on older Macs.
On older Mac computers, similar information was stored in Parameter RAM (PRAM). Resetting NVRAM on Intel-based Macs using the same key combination is like resetting PRAM.

  • Connection problem with Magic Mouse

    Hello
I've just upgraded my iMac with Snow Leopard. My MM was working perfectly before but now, when I power on the mouse, the computer doesn't reconnect it.
The "Favorite" option on bluetooth device is set to YES. The only solution is to connect another USB mouse and reconnect the MM manually.
I attempted to delete the MM and reconnected it....no result.

    Hello
It didn't solve my problem .
I tried to delete my mouse in bluetooth prefs several times. When I detect it again, I don't need to execute the pairing process, the system recognize the mouse immediatly. Perhaps a "ghost" of my mouse in any configuration file persists!?
    Thank you

  • I'm having problems with bluetooth mouse and keyboard. They work for the first 10 minutes then stop communicating.

I have to turn the computer off in order to get control of the computer again. Any ideas of what the problem may be?

You can run Bluetooth diagnostics by holding down the Option key and clicking the Bluetooth icon in the status menu bar.

I suggest that you request this feature, as I have, at Apple's feature request site. Maybe if enough of us request this it will come in a future iOS release.

  • Bluetooth Connection Problems with Acura MDX

My DroidX has been connecting for almost 2 months now just fine to my MDX.  Today it won't connect at all.  It sees it but it just won't connect. I tried rebooting the DroidX.  That didn't help. I have no idea what changed.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hi,
This has happened with all my android phones (Eris,Ally, DroidX) with my JagXF.  Sometimes rebooting the phone helps, other times I have to delete the phone from my car and re-pair the devices. I really think  Android has a problem with bluetooth though as it didn't happen with my Samsung Omnia and since it happened with 3 different droid phones, what  u think?  Hope this helps!!

  • Has anyone been having problems with bluetooth in Macbook PRO after upgrading to Mavericks?

    Hello,
Ever since I upgrade my 13inch (early 2011) Macbook PRO to OS X Mavericks I have been experiencing problems with bluetooth connectivity. Suddenly my Magic Mouse stops working and I cannot connect it back. Also I try turning off the bluetooth function but is not possible. The only workaround I have found is to restart the system.
    I appreciate any help.

    hello all
i have an n80 which i have given to my mother.
there seems to be a problem with bluetooth. i can connect it to my laptop by bluetooth and use the connection to browse the phone and transfer files but for some reason when i try to sync with outlook the connection always fails, all the time, no matter what.
can anyone think of any reason for this?
i have tried looking for firmware updates as i havent used the handset for 18mths but i cant find the pc cable so it wont identify the phone when i run a search.
any suggestions (apart from find the cable!) will be appreciated

Not being technically qualified enough on specifications of Bluetooth 3 all I can say is that Bluetooth SDP = Service Discovery Protocol seems to be absent fron N8, whereas it is present on say 5800XM and N97 Mini which appear to behave faultlessly with Toyota Bluetooth unit if this sheds any light.
