ATC: compliance screening

hi,
when i create delivery note, a message pop up. But the delivery note still able to process, pls advice
ATC: compliance screening
communication failure with compliance engine
no compliance blocks were set
delivery should be checked manually

My guess is that someone has been toying with Foreign Trade config OR GTS integration.  You may wish to refer to your on site SAP consultant for the settings they have made.

Is there something related with GTS i am doing testing in Ides.

Yes, this is related to SAP GTS. I think you have GTS (Compliance screening) activated for your FI payment through ECC or R/3.
Check these two note for further information and touch base with your GTS consultants.
    1. Note 850365
    2. Note 1027403
From your error message, it seems the organizational setup is not proper.

  • GTS 7.2 - Error with account assigned purchase order without material

    All,
I am creating an account assigned purchase order without any material master in the feeder system (ECC 5.0) and it a standard SAP functionality.
I am getting the following GTS related pop up message and documents are posted to technically incomplete documents in GTS 7.2.
"Legal Control: Custs Prod. Mast. Required
    Material                                                  "
Any ideas on how get rid of this error message
Edited by: James Puzon on Oct 3, 2008 9:32 PM

    James,
Even though material numbers are not mandatory on POs in the feeder system (ie in ECC) they ARE mandatory in SAP-GTS.
This means that every line item (PO, SO, delivery) that is sent to GTS for compliance screening or Customs processing MUST have a material number in the feeder system.  You have a couple of options to resolve this:
    1. Always use a material number on all transactions that you enter in your feeder system if they are exports or imports (ie relevant for GTS). You can create service materials or "dummy" materials in ECC for items such as user manuals, warranties or installation services that are part of a particular shipment.
    2. You can add logic in the interface for GTS to always transfer a particular material number to GTS if the material number is blank on the line item of the feeder system document.  Ideally you would want to link this custom logic to a custom maintenance table in ECC so that you can easily change the material number that is sent to GTS without having to change the code.
    3. Override the error message by changing the message type to a warning or informational message (not recommended because this would require a small code modification because I don't think the message type is configurable for this error).  Even if you did make this code change you would likely run into more issues in GTS because license determination and other GTS services need a material number to function properly.
    Hope this helps.

  • ADA Fixes for Robohelp: Frames & CSS Issues

    Fellow Robohelpers:
I am attempting to resolve a set of major issues within Robohelp 8
    a) Frames are not properly named in Robohelp 8. Is anyone aware with which files to change (post generation or pre-generation of outputs) to rename Frames so the visually impaired user is clearly informed which frame they are on
b)When you disable CSS, the navigational elements (frames) become a jumble. They do not function correctly (TOC, Index, Search) since Robohelp is heavily CSS dependent and hides objects (text fields, the various left hand navigational elments) behind CSS.
Any reccomendations how to resolve these, or insights as to how to make Adobe aware of this! I have been reaching out to them about this for quite some time! I am hoping capturing a workaround for at least a) will make the tool one step closer to ADA compliance (screen reader compliance)
    Thanks
    Yaseen

    Hi,
I guess your output is WebHelp. First, try to create 'Section 508 compliant' output or pure HTML output. This may solve quite a bit of your problems.
If you don't want that output, this is what I think:
    a) RH nests a lot of frames, but start looking at the launch file, the csh.htm file, whskinfrmset01.htm and whskin_frmset010.htm. Note that if you change the names of frames, this may cause some scripts to stop functioning...
    b) As for the CSS issues, the only way to make that work is to manually sort out all problems and amend the javascripts.
If you want to let Adobe know your wish, use the wish form: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&product=38

  • Must have scripts for a DBA

    Hi All,
My requirment may sound a bit vauge but i want to know what all are the scripts a Oracel DBA must have?
Scripts which are releated to monitoring, maintenance and performance realetd.
Kindly shre the same, if you have the same.
    BR
    Sphinx

    hi sphinx,
that is like asking a cook to tell you all the receipts and tools for his favourite dishes.
Although there are common tasks, everyone (I believe) has his own scripts and issues to monitor.
    depends on your tasks.
I would suggest that you define your responsibilities, and from there look for, build, or ask for specific scripts or help for speciific tasks.
    your tasks may involve:
    - db space monitoring
    - os space monitoring
    - performance issues
    - backup monitoring, execution
    - user creation
    - lock problems.
    - error solving
For most of them you can use Grid Control for an overview, or alerts.
You can use the compliance screen (even though some violations may be difficult to correct due to current processes).
contribution (checks tablespace total and free space in MB):
    Select d.tablespace_name ,sum(d.bytes/1024/1024) totalMB,sum( s.bytes/1024/1024) freeMB from dba_data_files d, dba_free_space s where s.tablespace_name=d.tablespace_name group by d.tablespace_name;now adjust it for percentages (more useful).

  • Canadians, Post your GSP gripes on US ebay, it's now 'Selling'

Heaven or Lithium alone knows why the old thread suggesting this was both bumped and locked, but the point remains valid. Go to the US 'selling' board and post your gripes there, and keep posting them  because amalgamating half a dozen boards makes posts vanish of the front page in a few hours. The thousands of posts in the pinned threads if posted where sellers might have some chance of seeing them would satnd more chance of being an eye opener to the often unaware US sellers using this program.

I am a US seller and if not for my International Buyers posting on the US site I would hae had no clue as to this GSP program for two reasons:
    1. I do not use it and never will so when it came out I never even paid attention to the program
    2. I was only reading US Sellers complaints on occasion. What perked my interest was the "confiscating" and reselling of items that the GSP center was deeming undeliverable or items that could not be shipped to another country that I knew could be.
I was shocked to discover "Art" or Guitars" or Certain clothing with Fur was being confiscated and resold on eBay by a company that is partnered with PB and eBay
I was shocked to hear packages were being opened and repacked?
I was shocked to READ that fees some buyers were paying for duties, taxes and tariffs appeared to not only be unrequired in many cases, but also possibly not being paid to the entities the money was being collected for when those taxes or customs fee's were not required?
Then after digging around and reading the buyers terms and conditions pages on your ebay sites because I do not see the buyers terms and conditions on the US site I was shocked even further at all the legal mumbo jumbo and the talking in circles...they cover themselves legally every way they can and the buyer is really the one eating it.
This program is nothing exceot a profit making service. It would not exist if profits were not had to be made plain and simple. Shipping as a small seller, heck shipping period should never be a profit making scheme. If my buyer pays me and for some reason shipping comes to less I refund the difference. I have felt guilty in the past when postage was even 50 cents less!
To boot why would any buyer pay double shipping costs? You buyers are paying for the cost of us US sellers to shlp your item to the US center...that's one postage fee, then you pay again to FedX for the international shipping costs and all the other fee's they tack on that cover the following costs for PB and GSP:
    International priority shipping" (or "Shipping"): this Program Fee consists of charges associated with the parcel processing and shipping services described above and is comprised of the following variable amounts: your Seller's shipping charges to ship your order to the U.S. Shipping Center; third party international shipping charges to ship your order from the U.S. Shipping Center to your designated delivery address;
    fuel surcharges; charges for selling, general, and administrative expenses, hardware, software development and licenses, operations, and hosting by Pitney Bowes;
    charges from third party parcel processing service providers and for the management of the parcel processing service providers and related software systems;
charges relating to the management of insurance for lost or damaged items; charges for operational expenses associated with short-term loss recovery and the management of variances between the quoted Shipping amount and actual costs; and any referral fees paid by Pitney Bowes to eBay for referring you to the Program.
"Import charges": this Program Fee consists of charges associated with the customs service described above and is comprised of the following variable amounts: sales, goods and services, and value added taxes, duties, tariffs, excise taxes, and other amounts assessed or levied by any government authority in connection with the importation of goods into the applicable country of importation
(but excluding income taxes) ("Commodity taxes"); third party brokerage fees (including advancement and disbursement charges and customs brokers handling and filing fees); penalties
    (but excluding any customs duties, taxes, surcharges, fines, penalties, or other charges which may be imposed on you by customs or tax officials after a GSP Item has successfully cleared customs and been delivered to, or made available for pickup at, the delivery address that you specify); classification charges associated with the assignment of a Harmonized System ("HS") classification code;
charges for export compliance screening and verification and the assignment of an Export Control Classification Number (ECCN); and operational expenses associated with short-term loss recovery and the management of variances between the quoted Import charges and actual costs.
Note: at eBay's discretion, applicable classification and export compliance charges, third party brokerage fees, and operational expenses may instead be included within the Shipping amount that is quoted to you.

  • 508 compliance--Playback control shortcuts and screen readers

Reference to 508 compliance. If you publish the SWF file to
include the playback control bar what keyboard shortcuts work
and/or can you program them? What will screen readers programs do
    with the playback control buttons?

Hmmm, so if I'm understanding the situation correctly, the
ideal response would work like this?
User types some text and is SUPPOSED to press Enter to
evaluate the text. Instead, they press Tab. Immediately upon
pressing Tab, they might see a message of some sort advising the
action is incorrect and further advising that Enter is the correct
    action.
I could see this possibly happening a couple of different
    ways.
    1. You could insert a click box configured with a Success
caption containing the advisory information. Then set the shortcut
keystroke for the click box object to be Tab. End result should be
that the user presses Tab, sees the success caption (which looks
like a failure caption, since they didn't do what was expected) and
the action of the click box would result in re-displaying the slide
with the Text Entry box. (You do this by pointing at a .1 second
slide immediately preceding the slide with the Text Entry box.)
    2. You could possibly configure the Text Entry box so that
either Enter or Tab will serve as the shortcut. You do this by
modifying the Text Entry box properties so it includes a Button as
the trigger. The trick is to assign the Enter key to the Text Entry
box itself and the Tab key to the button. (or vice-versa) Then you
configure the button so it's invisible.
Hopefully one of these helps... Rick

  • Screen Reader/508 Compliance  - Robohelp

    Hello Fellow Robohelpers!
I wanted to see if any of you great minds could assist me
    with a pending issue.
I need to verify with my client that RH truly is "508"
compliant. They would like to know how to:
    - ensure that the text size changes in RH when you change the
font size for your browser (smallest to largest) - currently, RH
text does not change in size
    - how do you tab away from 'drop lists' or 'pop-ups' in RH
    without using a mouse
Apparently, there are other 508 complianec requirements as
well too. I did review the documentation Adobe provides, but it
does not provide specific keystrokes to verify their
    allegations/proof.
Hope you can help or direct me where I can find such useful
    information!
    Thanks!

In HTML at least, changing font sizes in the browser has more
to do with the styles than with RH's 508 compliance. Current
standards are to style text using percentages rather than fixed
point or pixel values for sizes. So this is up to the help author
rather than being something RH will manage automatically.
Apparently, browsers contain settings that allow the viewer to
override text and color settings (see
    this W3C page). But
its nice to not force them to do that.
When it comes to resizing text on skins or in the HTML Help
interface, someone else would have to comment on that, as well as
    the rest of your question.

  • Limit to Custom Screen Reader Text for 508 Compliance

I am converting forms for a government Agency. The forms must be Section 508 compliant. Some pages of the forms are full pages of instructional text. I am using a single field to contain all of the accessibility text so that I can control the flow of information through the tab order with limited additional tabbing from the original version. I am adding all of the text in a Jaws friendly format into the Custom Screen Reader Text field under the Accessibility tab in the Object window. When I test the form, Jaws stops reading the Accessibility text about 980 characters in. The only way to get it to read the text in its entirety is to use the down arrow key, which forces the Jaws reader to read it line by line. This is not desirable. Has anyone else experienced this? Why is there a seemingly arbitrary limit to how much Accessibility text that can be passed to Jaws?
I am using Livecycle 7.1 and testing in Acrobat Professional 7 and Adobe Reader 8 with Dynamic PDF 7.0.5.

An associate in the field told me this is not a problem with Adobe's product. Rather it is a problem with Jaws. Apparently he has the same problem with Jaws and IBM Workplace Forms.

  • Appearing blank screen in compliance calibrator url

    hi
i have recently installed java front end part of SAP GRC patches on a sap java server. and i have crated jco connections to connect to backend sysems. but after that , when i see with following url
    http//<server_name>:5<instance>00/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/grc~ccappcomp/Compliance
    Calibrator
i can see the above heading as SAP GRC and all, but no content i can see.
did any body face this kind of problem--- please help
    thanks
    Akhil

    Hi Akhil,
You need to upload all the Standard UME roles provided by SAP onto the UME of GRC Server. You can find all these roles in VIRSAACCNTNT.sar files in the GRC AC package. When you'll un-car this file it will extract files having all the AC roles and you need to upload them in UME and assign users with all the necessary roles.
The files would be re_ume_roles.txt; cc_ume_roles.txt and ae_ume_roles.txt.
    All the best!
    Cheers!

  • Blue screen of death on Toshiba P755-S5375 with ADOBE ENCORE CS6

I recently purchased a new laptop and installed Adobe Master Collection CS6.  I purchased the laptop for video capture and editing, as well as for blu-ray authoring.
Unfortunately, although the computer and software works fine for video capture and editing, I am unable to author a blu-ray.  For authoring, I am using Adobe’s Encore CS6.  After checking and previewing my creation, I attempt to build to disc using Encore.  About 2 seconds after clicking the build disc in Encore, I get the “blue screen of death” (BSOD).  This happens every time I try to build to blu-ray (only blu-ray has this issue; I am able to build to a DVD).  I am using an external blu-ray drive on USB 3.0.

We need to know the Stop code on the blue screen. If there is a file name mentioned, we want that too.
You can prevent the rapid disappearance of the blue screen during a normal boot by choosing this at the F8 Startup menu.

  • ADA 508 Compliance Workflow Overview (tab key for navigation / WebAim Toolbar)

    Hi,
I've been assigned to update interactive training for a State agency..... with of course, an emphasis on ADA / 508 compliance.
So, before I pinpoint my two questions/scenarios, here is a basic, initial attempt at providing an overview of ADA compliance workflow in Captivate and beyond.
PS - useful Captivate forum urls are at the end of this post. I'm using Captivate v.6
    ADA Compliance Workflow Overview:
    1. All assets need an alt tag and conceivably a description > highlight the asset, like a pic, and click the Accessibility button under Properties.
    2. Create slide notes for each slide > load slide, highlight no assets and click the Accessibility tab under Properties. Copy and paste your notes > for screen readers.
    3. Need closed captioning for video/audio content > I use Camtasia for CC and will use the JW player for screen reader of video content.
    4. Interactivity needs to be accessible via the tab and enter keys.
    What else am I missing?
    Question 1
My question targets how to get the enter key to initiate after a successful tab. To be clearer.... I hit tab and I can navigate through all the buttons in the correct order, but hitting enter provides no action. I am gettining the yellow highlights around buttons when I tab through. Everything works very well when using the mouse, but blind users don't use mice.
I did create my own animation buttons in Flash and imported them in as animations. I then placed a Click Box behind the button animation to engage the rollover action. Could this be causing problems? The prebuilt (and clunky looking) buttons on the quizzes do work (ie) tabbing to them and hitting enter provides effective navigation.
I'm opting not to use the playback control skin, only my Flash nav bar.
    Question 2 (Scenario 2)
I have downloaded the WebAim Toolbar feature designed for FireFox, used to check ADA compliance issues.
I am getting this error message:
A frame does not have a title attribute or value. Okay... I bet I can fix this via the .html file or via the standard.js file??
    and these warnings:
Alert: Javascript in head - A javascript element is present in the page head section.
Alert: Flash - A Flash object is present.
Does anyone know if these alerts are worth fixing?
Obviously Captivate is going to pump out, or rather publish... javascript elements, but is this bad in the page head section?
And..... of course a Flash object is present...Captivate produces Flash / Shockwave files.
I'll obviously ask the programmers at WebAim for guidance as well. As always any help would be appreciated and Tanks in advance.

    Thanks, Calif Dreamin'

    Hi,
Attached is my zipped project file. I did create my own buttons in Flash - this might be the problem. I have only been problem solving with navigation on the first four slides.
To clarify, hitting the Enter key does engage navigation, however I’m having difficulty controlling the navigation so that it goes to the correct location.
I’m using Captivate v.6 / publishing SCORM 1.2 / Using IE to deliver via the SyberWorks LMS.
    Here is question 1:

  • External screen is blurry

When I connect my external screen ( iiyama vision master pro 410 ) to my macbook via the mini dvi to vga connector the screen of the iiyama is blurred. ( not just the text, everything ) It is on it's native resolution, and if i hook up any other pc to it, it's fine.
If I use a mini dvi to dvi connector and hook the macbook up to a different monitor, the image is ok, still slightly blurred, but workable.
    any ideas ??
    tnx !
    Maurits

First, I would make sure your Iiyama's "tuning" is correct. Refer to the Iiyama's user guide for how to adjust the clock phase (tuning).
Second, understand that VGA has limitations. Apple may have put heavy filtering on the video outputs to help with EMI compliance. This will cause video to appear blurry. Of the GMA950 might not have great bandwidth. People have complained about the same thing with the Mac mini, which also uses the GMA950.

  • I dropped my iPhone down a stairwell. It was in a case but the screen shattered. I replaced the screen with disaled iphone. Now it loses signal all the time, and goes into "searching" mode for cell signal.

iTunes says it needs to be restored to default to connect. When I restore it nothing changes. I get the same behavior. Below is my deivce log from the iPhone Config Utility. Hopefully someone can tell me if the phone is a wash.
