Ater installing Personas 1.6, Add-ons in the Tools drop-down box is unresponsive

I have the Brand Thunder custom browser installed and after installing Personas 1.6 I noticed that instead of showing 1 Large boom it shows 2 small booms. In an effort to sort the problem I thought I would try removing the add-on, however clicking on Add-ons causes nothing to happen.
In the background I have no script running and this keep appearing:
Script: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/components/nsExtensionManager.js:623
Pressing continue causes Firefox to hang and pressing stop script doesn't work as it just comes back again.

After manually deleting the personas folder from my profile everything is now fine, I'm not sure which add-on was the cause of the problem but I'll stick with my Looking For Group theme.

This is typically caused by a problem with the Personas Plus 1.6 add-on and it conflicting with the Google toolbar.
Try disabling the Personas Plus add-on. To do this open the add-ons manager by selecting the Tools menu, then Add-ons. In the list of installed extensions click on Personas Plus, then click on either disable or uninstall.
If you can not access the add-ons manager, follow the instructions in the [[safe mode]] article to start Firefox in safe mode. You should then be able to disable or uninstall Personas Plus. You can find more information on this procedure in the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.

The Add-ons selector in the Tools drop-down menu causes a crash.

Google Toolbar does not respond to search requests. Nothing happens when I click the search icon. When I try to uninstall it, nothing happens. When I click the Add Ons option in the Firefox Tools menu, it causes the program to crash. And while it is crashing I get an error about ndExtensionManager.js631 I think.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Every time I try to access Add-ons, Firefox freezes and I get an "unresponsive script" warning that states, "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding . . ." The script in question is nsExtensionManager.js:623. I reinstalled Firefox, but that didn't help.

This issue can be caused by the Personas 1.6.0 extension. If you have it then update to Personas 1.6.1

That's actually a great idea that you brought up, although it still isn't quite suited for my case.
By the time I've gone into projects, I would have typed in the ratio already. But I can see the benefit of doing this batch.
On your great idea...
I've always liked how lightroom presets worked (you could have presets of many different settings into one easily selectable one), versus Aperture only having presets for individual adjustments. Your method would come really close to a global preset as in Lightroom. I've been thinking about this for such a long time!

How do I add Brushes to my Drop down box?

I know there is a way to add brushes to the brush drop down box. I use the brush tool drop box to add it in but when I exit out of the brush set it goes away then I have to load it again. I also noticed the the loaded brushes are separated from the others by placing it by it'self at the bottom of the brush selection drop box. Other add-ons, like BetterPrivacy, have been installed and enabled, but do not appear in the Tools drop-down menu either. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help. I am using version 3.6.13 of Firefox.

My requirement is that , In SC Check Status screen "Find the SC section" we have ("Item Description" "Name of Shopping Cart" " Timeframe" "Status" )fieds are there.. I need to add one values (Deleted) in to the Status Drop Down Box.
Then If I selected this deleted values from the status which should display only Deleted SC in the Search Result section.

Add-ons getting installed when i have add-ons update unchecked

In the Options-Advanced-Update I have Add-on UN-Checked to not install add-ons.
The last few times I've started Firefox, the Add-on window appears to inform me that new add-ons were installed.
Why is this happening when I have this option turned off ?

That preference is for addon '''updates''', not for unrequested installation of addons or addons you choose to install.
Exactly which addons have been installed that you didn't specifically install yourself?

When I click the "download anyway" (since I just up-graded to Firefox 37.0 an hour earlier and have been using it all that time), I get this message, "The download could not be downloaded because of a connection failure on add-ons.Mozilla.org"
This happens with ALL the add-ons in the Add-on site. Not some..ALL.
It has been doing this for months.

Unless you are referring to the search engine in Search Bar, Mozilla does not make or maintain the Yahoo! Toolar extension as that would be Yahoo!.

I can reenable them but FF will disable them on the next startup. I uninstalled version 13 and installed version 12. Problem gone! So I'm still using version 12 and am afraid to update to version 13.
This problem began when I was trying to research and fix a problem (no history all-of-a-sudden) so it probably was something I caused. Can't recall everything I did though.
